Crius narrowed his eyes when the pokemon order him out of the way, and simply shook his head. Getting hit with the Heavy Bomber attack hurt, since the Lairon was so much heavier then him. Letting his eyes glow lightly as he used the move rain dance, and the cave was becoming damp. He had to admit it was an odd sight rain fall this deep into the cave, but it would help him with his water attacks.

The rain and water that now all but flooded the cave made the Lairon unnerved for a few seconds. However, after this few was up, he shook his head and formed an Aerial Ace and made to slash at Crius while half in mid-air.

As the water fell Crius only smirked to himself, being a water type he didn't mind that the cave was fulling quickly. Anyways he was brought back to the battle when he was hit by the Aerial Ace attack. Snorting to himself he fought back with a water pulse attack.

[Jay]

Powered up by the rain, the Water Pulse hit the Lairon hard. Said pokemon shook his head a bit and then stared irritated at the water pokemon. Forming yet another Aerial Ace, the Lairon growled and attacked again as hard and as fast as he could.

After his own attack hit, Crius was hit by another Aerial Ace, but only shook his head. Going through the list of attacks he could use, he decided that he would just keep going with water attacks. Yet the water type wasn't one for using the same moves in a row so he choice to fight back with an aqua tail.

[Jay]

The Lairon just barely managed to dodge the Aqua Tail and formed a Shadow Claw and made to tear at the Croconaw with the strange dark claw. The entire tunnel was starting to flood with water as the rain continued to add more and more water to the tunnels. Somewhere far off, a cry of fear could be heard as the water rushed down towards the lower tunnels.

The cry of a pokemon reached Hera as the fire type looked uneasy at all the water. Sure her fellow team mate might be fine with all this water but Hera wasn't. Using sunny day she was able to stop Crius's rain dance and ended the fall of rain. Okay so she was feeling a little bit better now, but the water type did glared at her for a few seconds. Snorting to herself she looked at Jasmine who didn't object to the move.

Grumbling to himself Crius turned his attention away from Hera just in time to get hit by the shadow claw attack. Shooting out a water gun attack, but was a bit upset since the water attack was only at normal strength or weaker now thanks to the sunny day.

[Jay]

Indeed the Sunny Day had weakened the water, and it seemed that the Lairon was able to take this attack with a fully strong head. Forming an Iron Head, the Lairon made to bash the water type with his head. Suddenly the sound of wings could be heard as a Woobat came flying out from behind the Lairon trying to get out of the cave in case more water came.

Getting hit with another attack made Crius flinch a bit, but thanks to the match up the move didn't hurt him that bad. It was just annoying to think that Hera would think of keeping the others safe rather then let him have the power up from his rain dance. Giving himself a shake he used another water pulse attack.

As Hera saw another pokemon coming she simply allowed it to past. Hoping that her sunny day had helped out a little, and that no other pokemon got hurt from the large amount of water.

The Woobat continued on up and away from the entire cave. The Lairon growled deep in his throat as he was hit by the water attack. However, the sunlight was working well in weakening it, heh. Suddenly using an Earthquake the Lairon smirked to himself as the entire area began to shake.

Growling as the water attacks were still weak, if he lost then he would forever blame Hera for it. As the ground began to shake he manged to hold his footing, while Hera flinched a bit and came back down on all fours. Unleashing a surf attack at the ground pokemon, he was once again aware that it wouldn't be as strong thanks to the sunny day.

[Jay]

The water hit the Lairon and made him flinch for hard for a few seconds. However, after a moment, he shook his head and roared loudly. Forming a Metal Claw, he made to slash at the water type. He wasn't going to give up!

Getting hit with another attack didn't bother Crius that much, and he simply smirked. Sure he was getting hit with every attack, but they weren't doing that much damage to him. Forming up another water attack he used the move boiling water.

[Jay]

The Boiling Water hit the Lairon, and the pokemon suddenly shouted in pain as the water caused him to burn. Cringing in pain, he shook his head still defiantly trying to ignore it until he could get another attack off. Forming an Iron Tail, he made to swipe at the water pokemon.

Now the iron tail did sting a bit, and Crius found himself rubbing his head with his hand. After a few seconds he lowered his hand again since the pain was starting to go away. His tail glowing again he rushed forward to use an aqua tail on the other pokemon.

[Jay]

The Aqua Tail hit the Lairon, and he was finding himself starting to wear down. Shaking his head, he huffed and shook his head sharply. However, as he moved to attack, he found himself slip on the water and hit the ground hard.

Snickering a bit when the pokemon slipped on the water he was about to attack when a soft white glow over came him. Almost to add insult to injury the Croconaw started to change as his form became larger. As the light started to fade it showed that indeed that Croconaw had changed into a Feraligator. Now standing taller and weighing more the water pokemon found he had to get used to his new form a bit. Deciding to go with a more simple attack he just used the move aqua jet.

[Jay]

The evolution had made the water pokemon stronger, and the damage that the Lairon received from the Aqua Jet caused the hard-headed pokemon to cry out in pain. Struggling to give up, he made to fight his way up and only ended up slipping again falling on his face and crying out again. After a few more tries, he found himself unable to get up.

Watching as the other pokemon had a hard time getting up, and simple falling again, she knew this battle was coming to an end. Tossing out a pokeball at the Lairon, Jasmine waited to see if it would take, or if the ball would simply break open again. If it did then the battle wasn't over, but part of her wasn't expecting the hard headed pokemon to break out.

[Jay]

The pokeball hit the Lairon and then dropped to the ground once it drew him inside. The ball itself shook for several long seconds before finally sighing in capture.

Personality: Rather tough, this Lairon likes to run for miles and miles in any direction simply to run. He also seems to love to battle even when the odds are against him. He can be quite harsh to other pokemon especially those that he doesn't respect and feels are below him.


Suddenly a loud sound could be heard screeching up from the tunnel. What in the world was that?
