Hmmmmm....... Origin Library Even the most experienced of explores may find it hard to come across this ancient library. It was said that once long ago, a queen commissioned for the library to be built and stocked, but now it is buried all the way to its highest pillar in sand. To get in, one must climb through a window in the pillar and then scale downwards. Inside are seven stories filled with not only book shelves lined with history but also relics of the different times in Era's history. On the very bottom floor, a large map made of floor ties depict an ancient wart of some sort though the bulk of it is covered in sand, and on many of the free walls, there are tile images of historical events. Some have said that there is a specter in the library that guards it from bandits, though none can be sure of just who or what it is. South Pokemon: ground and rock types types, maybe some flying and fire types here and there as well

Lexicon City
Lexicon City is one of the most advanced cities in Era with it’s high skyscrapers and factories covering every inch of the city. The sky in Lexicon latterly turned gray with smog as the factories continued to expand. It was said that the city has one of the highest employment rates in Era as jobs could be found left right and center. However, after the rebellion the city took a hard hit and many of the factories shut down causing thousands to lose their jobs. Poverty hit the once busy streets causing the smug filled city to lose what little glamour it had left. Despite the many abandoned factories, business buildings and rising crime, the city it's self is still rather busy and most people will travel here to find work.
Location: West Pokemon: Poison, Dark and Electric types Id think. Perhaps a few Psychics or Flying types
A few people wanted a more industrial city so I thought it be a good idea to try and come up with one. x3 You know if you hadn't told me this in chat I would've totally missed it. xD Damn last posts of pages! If I can recommend a few tweaks? Lexicon City is by far the most advanced city in Era, with high skyscrapers and factories covering nearly every inch of the city. The sky in Lexicon long since turned gray with smog as the factories continued to expand. Years ago, it was the center of Eran industry- the very symbol of progress and the future, nearly having more jobs than available workers. However, once the economy began to decline, many of the factories shut down causing thousands to lose their jobs. Poverty hit the once busy streets causing the smog-filled city to lose what little glamour it had left. Despite the many abandoned buildings and rising crime, the city itself still stays rather busy as what companies remain struggle to continue progressing, and many people will still travel here to find work. I'd also put it in the South, since the current city count is N:4, W:3, S:2, E:2, and the South makes more since for industry given it's closest to the futuristic Orre. Ether, as a reason to accept this and proof it's not too close to anything else- currently Porygon-Z fits nowhere. x3 It's the last Pokemon that isn't found in the wild. (At the time of writing this, Wigglytuff and Clefable say they don't on the master list but I just haven't updated it all yet.) |D So yeah we need a high-tech place and apparently people were asking for it and Kero agreed so that's several votes and SG agrees nao tooo. x3 Can we please? 83

x3 I'm going to take Ether's Like as approval.
SG will award $900 and.... *rolls* .... ooh, a Beldum! :3 Gender/ability/personality are all up to you. ^^
>> << And... 'x3; Now that it's no longer a carbon copy of Avatar's buried library and since I now really like it and Ether said before in a post that she did like it and we definitely do need some ruins of some kind in the south SG is going to go ahead and approve the library and if Ethar thinks we need some minor tweak to the desc we can always do that later. x3 *SHOT*
So Jay gets $600 and.... *roll* 8U A Shiny Porygon2 lol nice. xD

Mount (Mt.) Kirshnal
Location: Northern Reaches Mt. Kirshnal: Mt. Kirshnal is in fact not a mountain, but rather, a dormant volcano that has not erupted for thousands of years. Because of this, the vegetation in the area has thrived unscathed for quite a long time. However, there is still a high amount of heat that does radiate from the interior of the volcano through cracks and caverns in the structure of the volcano, making the area warmer than average with regard to the rest of the northern reaches. Some farmers have taken advantage of these conditions, as well as the nutrient rich soil that surrounds Mt. Kirshnal, and begun to grow crops here during the summer months. There is however, no guarantee that Mt. Kirshnal will stay dormant forever, and the residents here are beginning to become oblivious to the obvious dangers of the volcano. Pokemon: Ice Pokemon are common place here especially during the winter months. However, since the climate is significantly above average here compared to the rest of the region, other types can be found here as well. Even the occasional fire-type pops up now and then wandering around away from their normal habitat within the caverns of a volcano

Eh.. We really do need a/some mountains, but it just doesn't really have anything to make it 'special'. It's really big and really cold. 'x3; ...Honestly, the mostly ice-types on its own is enough to make SG flail herself.. *shot* Most of the North is like that, which is why Era's Swinub population very nearly outweighs its Rattata population. 'xD; Ice-types are still going to be present; there's just no way around that to still get mountains worthy of calling 'the northern reaches'. But... 'x3;; Yeh. The type is pretty scarce through the whole PokeDex, so when it's the main type in an area we end up way overusing the same Pokemon over and over.
:'3; How sad is that? Ether tends to be concerned about roleplay value and I mostly just spaz about PokeDex balance? 'xD

A mountain range could probably placed anywhere. I just picked the northern reaches because it only had about 11 sub-boards, while I think the others (aside from the capital) have 13 or more. I might make another suggestion for a mountain range in the middle of the desert. Any additional part of the northern reaches will likely have ice-types though.

Kohola Atoll
Location: Western Waters Kohola Atoll: Located off the western coast, this tiny strip of coral not even a kilometer wide, but 4 kilometers long, circles a beautiful lagoon, is surrounded by the vast ocean, and is barely viewable from the coastline. The climate here is very tropical and even in the winter the temperature stays relatively mild. A local company offers a ferry service to and from the atoll every day, and supplies scuba diving gear for those who want to search around the atoll, deep underwater for Pokemon. Pokemon: A lot of the Pokemon found around here are water-types that aren't capable of walking on land, such as Seaking, Lanturn, Mantine, etc. Other water-types that can walk on land such as Krabby, and Buizel can also be found here. Flying-types such as Wingull can also be found here.

Ice-types are still going to be present; there's just no way around that to still get mountains worthy of calling 'the northern reaches'. '^^ Already said that, hon. It doesn't necessarily have to be the PREVALENT type though. And we do need mountains in the north, because that's what the north technically is. Just like the East is a ginormic forest. We also need northern submissions most right now. Yours just wasn't that noteworthy. By which I mean Jay submitted almost the same thing several pages ago except with some folklore and a rare flower species attached, and Ether declined it. So I'm just letting you know she's probably not going to like less more; don't shoot the messenger. --------- EDIT: Way to post while I'm replying. *SHOT* o3o I like the coral personally... Name not as much, but the concept. And I noticed we honestly do NEED another ocean area, because Kingler, Cloyster, and Crawdaunt are only found in one area currently, along with others who only have like two. x3; -- EDIT2: ... o3o Also I probably wouldn't put it off the coast of Wharfenfair just because that's where the shellfish already are, and it'd be nice to spread it out... Also all the fishing in the area and the atoll probably wouldn't get along. x3 Maybe just randomly in the ocean off from the beach? :3 Or off the coast of Orion if you really think it should be by a city?

Ok how about: Kohola Atoll? (Kohola means reef in Hawaiian)
I was trying to put it as far south as possible so that it would rarely experience cold temperatures, but I can change that a little bit.

Okay I modified Mt. Kirshnal's description so it is now a dormant volcano, rather than a generic mountain.

A volcano would make sense to justify the hot springs in the north, bu we do also have an inactive volcano in the South, so Ethe's call on this.

We already have the fire pits so I don't really think we need a volcano.

Western Waters Everstone Lake This lake is far smaller than the enormous lake of the west but is still rather noteworthy. The entire floor of it is filled with Everstones, and the surrounding area seems to have an unusual number of Evertsones. Because of this, all the pokemon in the area are in their first stage, and those that enter the particular area from the outside will not evolve even under stone influence. Possibly due to the nature of the lake, the area is serene, and the pokemon there are generally friendly if a bit timid.

X3 Hurrr.
Major thing is we should make it mostly crushed Everstones just scattered around. (A similar thing was done in an anime episode with a colony of gloom. Some nearby mountains had deposits of Leaf and Sun stones, and when enough dust of one kind built up on any of the Gloom they would 'spontaneously' evolve.) That was people can't really just walk in and expect to grab some up for free. (Not that they're not dirt cheap anyway but still.) Also, it should be made clearer Pokemon in the area will not evolve while there even under other item influence in general. Possibly add something though more for effect than actual requirement about will need to be washed thoroughly after passing through or being captured to ensure remnants of Everstone dust get off.
Also, you misspelled lake once. *MAULED* xP But also also. Maybe we could give it a more subtle name? Also, perhaps we could throw it up North, which definitely needs areas the most. Perhaps we can find a good name play on freeze or frozen for it, referring to both hey its cold and them being 'frozen' in their current evolutionary stage. :3

But the Den of Illusion and the Secluded Spa are both water areas already =/ but ya the other stuff seems easy enough to consider.

Mmm blah. .... .3. Well... Hm. It doesn't really need to be a lake, does it? We could make it like... a piece of the northern shoreline, so Boreal's not the only bit and we'd get another place for some oceanic Pokemon like Kingler and Cloyster.
OR, we could make it, like, a MOUNTAIN. Seeing as we need those badly in the north. X3 AND LIKE. Rather than "Oh there's lots of everstone around", the ENTIRE MOUNTAIN could BE a giant Everstone! XP Or contain a giant one under a layer of normal earth, rather, so people don't go trying to chip off pieces. x3 That would eliminate the need to get residue off too.
X3 From a logic standpoint I support the latter while from a balance of Pokemon standpoint the prior sounds good too, though we can certainly do other things for a northern shoreline I suppose. Really I guess an ocean is a little inconstant for something so unchanging but then I guess that could either be maneuvered in as some natural wonder why it doesn't as much or just serve if there was some especial reason you wanted water involved.

X3 So we need to come up with a badass name and then rewrite the desc and get a new pic, eh~?
Hm... Something to do with stand-still maybe? Or frozen in time if a prettier way to say it could be found.. Or.. Uh.. ..Dormant? Hibernation? x3 Iunno. I'm sure we can find plenty of puns for unchanging and cold.
