Go RIGHT ahead. I was having a writer's block. I went back 4 hours later to the Life Monastery.... and yeah... a little better. But yes, you may, Ethereal.

CentralOld Clock Tower This old clock tower has existed in Era for ages and has been a sight to see through out its years for it never once broke down. However, the day the kingdom fell, the clock silenced its tolls and froze its hands appearing to almost freeze in time. None are sure why, and many have tried to fix the old clock, yet it remains to this day frozen. There is a rumor started by the loyalists that it is a sign that the aristocracy is meant to be in power while the rebels refute this idea stating that it was just an old clock that stopped working. Pokemon: flying, electric, steel, and some ghosts

CentralPOKEMON SHELTER AND EXCHANGE (feel free to rename) This large facility houses a variety of Pokemon-related services. Most notably, it serves as a place for trainers to seek and offer trades, in addition to buying and taking in unwanted Pokemon from trainers for a small sum. Pokemon taken into the shelter are then put up for adoption. Without an official 'Pokemon Lab' in Era, many young trainers adopt one of these as their first, and there are large discounts for those with no Pokemon as a result. Pokemon not adopted within two months will be slowly reintroduced to the wild in their most natural habitats. In addition, there are a number of small, open classes and activities for trainers and Pokemon to attend, making it a great stop for veterans and newbies alike.
Pokemon: No wild. [/sup][/ul][/blockquote] Eastern WoodsTHE HIVEThis ominous stretch of woods is arguably the creepiest place in Era, but it isn't wandering spirits or savage demons you'll have to look out for: it's bugs! Difficult to traverse for all the webbing and nests strewn throughout the half-bare trees, the Hive is a haven for all manner of creepy-crawlies. Little else can live in this horrid environment, though a few burrowers have managed to take root, and some brave birds do occasionally drop in in hopes of finding a meal.
Pokemon: Bugs out the ass, a few burrowers who would eat bugs, and a few rare, strong birds. (:3 As they don't live here, they'd just be caught passing through, hence the lack of offspring.) Western WatersPARADISE ISLANDHello, trainers! Are you looking for the penultimate in luxury vacations? Here at Paradise Island, we have everything a fabulous young trainer could ever want! We aren't just a nicer beach than those public places, or just a nicer spa than the north can boast, or just a five-star hotel- we're all this and more! Allow your Pokemon a vacation as well with our many activities, both solo or for both of you, or a nice relaxing Pokemon massage. Travel our exclusive gardens as often as you like during your stay for a fun, safe capture experience, with only the finest Pokemon available! Yes, trainers, all this and more can be yours for a mere $500; call for reservations or come on in today! Discounts for couples~
Pokemon: "Cute" and "luxurious" Pokemon. Snubbull, Clefairy, Eevee, and the like. A pretty fair number of rather rare things. *Note: Yes, a $500 entrance fee; $800 (so $400 per person unless one wants to pay it all ) for couples just for fun. x3 I mean.. << Because it's good business. *shot* :3 It'll give the richer members something else to buy, and be totally desirable with massages upping odds of happiness evolution and gaining temporary access to the Pokemon availabe.

The Abandoned Barracks [Central Capital] These barracks, located near Era Castle, once housed the royal military. However, with bad economy, these were slowly being emptied out as officers quit or were fired, even before the fall of the castle. Now, it's entirely empty, with perhaps a few Pokemon living inside. Pokemon: urban-types mostly, and Shuppet/Bannete to feed off of all the collected negative feelings from the troops that still linger about. :3 OR (whichever you like better. Neither's particularly awesome, so I did a few kinda-alright ones...x3;) The Wailord Graveyard [Western Waters] A rather desolated island with only a few, course bits of shrubbery plant-wise. Otherwise, there's sand and Wailord skeletons. It seems that old Wailord some to this island to beach themselves when they know they're close to death. Pokemon: Ghost-ypes of all kinds, as well as Murkrow and any other carrion-type bird. Also sometimes a beached Wailord, but honestly... who'd want to catch a Wailord that's about to die? xD;

EastBlackwood Thicket This rather dense area of the forest is rather dark even in the mid-day hours due to the tall trees that block the sun. Pokemon find sanctuary here, and because of this, they are plentiful. In the center of this thicket is a very old tree with vines growing off of it making somewhat of a ladder for humans to climb. At the top of said tree, one can see very far in any direction. Pokemon: Grass, Flying, Bug, Dark, some water

:U HEYGAIZ.
You know we have exactly 50 boards now? It's pretty even, too. The West has 11 (but then, islands makes sense to have lots) and Central has 9 (and single city justifies less), but all the others have an even 10. (EDIT: =3= Ffff, I was looking at an older list... We haz 51.) We've had a lot of winners out of this, got in almost if not all the wild Pokemon we were missing in at least one stage of their families, and are currently sitting at a very nice even number. :3
Wanna close this for now then and let everyone settle into the new areas we have for a while? We can always run another one in a few months once the new stuff has been explored thoroughly if a need is felt, neh~? ^^
EDIT: Alternatively, wanna get just one more for each area excluding West, or two more for each but one for West, for a total of 55 or 60 and then close?

Ack, sorry if this is closed...But I just figured I toss my ideas out there. Maybe to help even things out? Overgrown Park CentralTucked away deep within the Central section of Era is a vastly overgrown park. Before Nolan took the throne, is was incredibly beautiful. A wonderful place to have a family outing or to meet up with your friends. But once the crooked king took power, the park was allowed to fall into a sad state of disrepair. Even now, so many years later, no one has yet to remember about this little park. There are few who venture here, due to the threat of wild Pokemon violently lashing out. Many of the Pokemon here are strays, abandoned or otherwise left to fend for themselves. Feel free to take a look around, but be prepared if your pleasant adventure turns sour...
Pokemon: Many urban types, plus a good deal of Flying-, Grass-, and Bug-Types. Many of the Pokemon here are violent and have a distrust of humans, which would make them more of a challenge to catch and train. Creeping Ruins SouthDeep within the deserts of the South, there is rumor of a once great city turned to ruins. It's said that the ruins are never found in the same place twice, and there are difficult to find in the first place. In reality, the ruins are truly from a vast city. Due to the near constant sandstorms, the ruins seem to creep from one place to another because of the shifting sands. One part can be buried one day, and exposed the next, creating a different landscape every visit. The curious and the adventurous are advised to search for the ruins; one might find long buried treasures hidden within the ruins!
Pokemon: Desert Pokemon (Cacnea, Trapinch, Sanshrew, ect.). Many Ground- and Rock-Types, a few Steel-Types. Possibly a good area to find fossils, but it has yet to be confirmed. Frozen Slums NorthOn the outskirts of one of the larger cities, snowed over scars mar the beauty of the North. These icy slums are rough, only the most hardy and stubborn people living here. Often enough, in the abandoned 'homes', wild Pokemon have taken up residence in these 'ready made dens'. Even though the nobles have tried many times to erase the ugly mark the slums leave on their land, the slums always seem to find their way back, just as bad as before, if not worse.
Pokemon: Not many, but a few Ice-Types. Rarely, a burly or thick-furred Normal-Type.
Feel free the change things if they seem awkward or just in bad taste. Typing first thing in the morning and without breakfast makes for sloppy work from Ink..|3;

You know what we could really use?
A Jungle. One could fit in the southeastern East region pretty well I think. When going through loacations I realized a lot that had almost no locations originally (and some even still) really most belong in a jungle- Venusaur, Sceptile, Slaking, etc.
Also, do you know what we actually NEED?
In all the Northern Reaches (which is mostly mountains) and the Southern Wastelands (which is mostly desert), we don't actually have plain mountain or desert. xD We have stuff in them, but not just open sand or snow to wander. :3 This should be remedied, and combined with a jungle would bring all the directional regions up to 11.

...man, while an abandoned school would've been great for some of my story stuff, I think the general idea was covered with the Abandoned Barracks. 8'D;
...Man the abandoned school would've been SO GREAT for some Prof. Layton RP though. >3<

...we also don't have just plain ocean. x'3 like far enough off the coast to say like a Wailord but close enough that it's still Era enough.

What about a regular school? anyone else notice like nobody goes to school yet everyone act's as smart as if they did go? I think a regular school would be a good idea. This would bring the central area up to 11 along with all the others if we implanted Sg's idea.

It is implied in the towns that there is probably some sort of educational system if not public =P but ya a university would be good.

...So like maybe a functioning one then? Like I said, the Abandoned Barracks has the whole abandoned thing already. The functioning school could be a good idea, though. And if wild Pokemon are deemed necessary, maybe there could be like a training area/maze/something 'r other.
(Other idea though I guess it would only really impact my modding though marginally other peoples' too: maybe the Pokemon in this maze could be stronger than usual? That is, I personally would use mid stats @ lv 50 rather other Pokemon I use min stats @ 50. 8'D)

;D Flora just gave me an idea thank you
what about training grounds where you can go to train your pokemon against other trainer's. Npc's and players alike This would be helpful for evolving pokemon. you would play an entry fee it would be like a stadium almost but just for training.
