"I suggest you protect yourself from that, Incubus." Osiris advised his pokemon while absentmindedly watching the battle. He turned his head and waved at the poochyena from earlier. "Alright," He said, looking back to his pokemon, "Now poison fang would be a good approach."
Incubus closed his eyes while bracing himself for the fighting technique. Once he recovered from the force of the blow, Incubus lunged toward the Sableye's neck with teeth laced in poison.

The Sableye was hit by the Poison Fang but shook his head and grinned again before releasing a Confuse Ray at the Poochyena. The other Poochyena continued to watch the battle and was surprised to be waved at. However, after a moment, he seemed to snap back into the battle and continued to watch.

Incubus tried to run from the swirling ball of light, but it surrounded him and put him into a daze. "Hm, well that's unfortunate." Osiris observed, still mostly optimistic. "Perform an ice fang, if you're able." He hoped that the sableye would be frozen by the chilling attack.

Indeed the Ice Fang landed and caused the Sableye to hiss in pain. Suddenly running back a few feet, the ghost and dark pokemon seemed rather wary for a moment and neither attacked nor defended but simply watched and waited.

The man adjusted his glasses thoughtfully. "That will be adequate, thank you Incubus." He nodded his graying head to the shiny poochyena. The golden pup was panting and looking around the battle field, unsure where his opponent was, but glad that he was done battling if only for that moment.
Osiris leaned on his cane while retrieving a pokeball from within his coat, "Very well my ghostly friend," He said to the Sableye, "This has been a lovely battle; now stay in this ball if you would please." He threw the sphere nonchalantly in the wild pokemon's direction.

The pokeball hit the Sableye and drew him inwards. It thrashed about vigorously for several straight seconds before finally dinging in capture.
Name: Species: Sableye Gender: Male Ability: Keen Eye Personality: Dark and thoughtful, this Sableye ponders quite a lot and likes to sneak around gathering information. He's rather blunt and will often refuse his trainer's orders for his own attacks and will not hesitate to attack when he is not asked to. However, he proves to be very stealth wise.

Osiris was actually not expecting the capture to go successfully, but he was pleased nonetheless. "Ah, wonderful." He said approvingly, "Incubus, please fetch the pokeball." The dog sighed <Yep, I'll fight battles with you AND fetch..> Even with the complaint, he obediently retrieved the red and white sphere. The trainer grabbed it then placed it slowly into his coat, "I suppose you're right. Have a rest." Osiris pressed the button on the shiny pokemon's pokeball, sucking the poochyena inside.
With that done, he continued moving through the maze of graves.

Deeper into the Grove, the sound of a bell ringing could be hear. A Chingling came into view being chased by a Hoothoot for one reason or another. The Chingling caught sight of Osiris and more or less tried to dive behind him and away from the brid pokemon.

Osiris turned around to look at the pokemon that had darted behind his back. "Hm.." He pursed his lips curiously, "To defend the weak, or to let nature take its course?" He pondered aloud. "In most faiths altruism is a sign of benevolence, so I suppose I could dabble in it." With his mind made up he spread his arms as if to shield the psychic type.
The middle aged man cleared his throat, "Excuse me hoothoot, but I believe I am obligated to step in here." He said calmly, "I'm sure whatever disagreement you two have can be settled civilly."

The Hoothoot blinked at the man for a good moment wondering why in the world he had been stopped from chasing the Chingling. The small psychic type on the other hand was thankful for being protected. After a moment, the bird pokemon puffed up and seemed to stare rather irritated at the man.

Osiris looked back to the small psychic type, "Now, this buffoon doesn't look so tough. I'm sure you could take him down if you really wanted to." He said with full confidence. "What can he do? Peck you? Now while you're tearing at him with psychic powers!" He stood aside for a moment, still separating the two pokemon but giving the chingling a chance to fight. "If you'd still like me to defend you I will, but I don't think you need me."

The Hoothoot blinked as Osiris moved away and then smirked before simply starting to chase the Chingling again. The small psychic type instantly panicked and started to try and hide behind Osiris once more as though she had not even heard his wording previously.

Osiris sighed with one hand rubbing at the bridge of his nose, "Very well," He said, giving up, "Hoothoot I suggest you leave now unless you'd like a quick zap to your vital organs." To show that he was prepared to do so, Osiris grabbed a pokeball from one of his pockets and released a vicious looking electric type.

The Hoothoot blinked in confusion as to why the man had let out pokemon. He just wanted to get the Chingling! It wasn't that bad! Irritated, the Hoothoot used Peck on the new poikemon. The Chingling simply cowered behind the man.

Osiris crossed his arms, certain that Lazarus would dispose of the irritating hoothoot, "Rain dance then thunder, my dear." He said smoothly. The shibirudon was happy to oblige and began the lethal combination of attacks.

The Rain came down and then as the accuracy of the Thunder hit the Hoothoot, the bird was deep fried and knocked out in one hit. The Chingling stared rather dumbstruck by the full motion of it.

Lazarus floated over to the fainted hoothoot, <I want to eat it..> She growled before lowering her mouth down to its warm body. Osiris wagged a finger playfully at her, "Now Lazzy, you know you can't just eat things you find lying around." He pressed the button on her pokeball, "Return until you're needed again."
With the Shibirudon gone the man stepped away from the wild chingling. "There, now that your aggressor is unconscious we can both continue on our way~" He smiled politely at the small pokemon.

The Chingling slowly looked up at the man before finally smiling a bit and nodding in thanks. After that, she made a quick look towards her adjudicator and then quickly went on her way. Not far off, a Gastly had watched the entire battle rather intrigued.

Osiris looked to the ghastly, slightly interested. "If only you were a Gengar or even a Haunter, I might have more of a desire to fight you." He mused sadly, "Ah well, the temptation as is happens to be great enough." The man put a hand inside his robe and withdrew a pokeball. "Out, Tomb and face your enemy."
From the pokeball came a proud looking Desumasu. The ghost eyed the Ghastly haughtily, <Oh is that all?> He asked, unamused. <I will still battle with honor! For I am Pharaoh!> He vowed in a deep voice.
"Yes." Osiris said, not really minding his pokemon's delusion of grandeur. "I suggest you use imprison followed by psychic." The Egyptian pokemon nodded his head, <So I shall!>

The Psychic sent the Gastly flying, and all the Chingling could do was star in surprise. After a moment, the Gastly sat up again and shook his head before using a Thunderbolt on the attacker.
