Dancer's Burden~[Mod/Open]

"You poor baby.." Asha pronounced as she entered the room. "How in the world has it survived in the wild for so long?" Her long dark fingers ran through the mouse's fur. She had on a face of sympathy. With a sigh she put her hand on her hip. It really isn't very safe for Pichu out here...

Asha turned and smiled at the boy as she noticed that he had followed. Her eyes swiftly went from his face to the nurse's. "Is he going to be alright? Should I maybe take him with me? I really don't think he should stay in the city all by himself." Her voice was compassionate and gentle, baby pokemon of course, were a ton of work. Asha wasn't about to let him get injured by abandoning him though.

[Jay]

The Pichu breathed in a little and then relaxed under the hand that brushed him. The nurse but a hand to her chin and then nodded slowly. "I think you would be a good trainer to him with such kindness about you," she stated aloud. The pink haired young man seemed to think on this as well and finally nodded.

[Olive]

<sub>Asha smiled with confidence and nodded at the two Joys. The small sash that ran around her dress held three pokeballs with bright, exotic decorations. Two extras also were hung there, her delicate hand detached one of these. She placed the activated pokeball in front of the small pokemon.

"It's up to you Pichu, I'm not going to make you come with me. But if you want to we will definitely have you as part of our team. Just touch that pokeball when you're ready okay honey?" Her voice was like chocolate, sooting and gentle. Asha would in the end benefit from the Pichu joining her crew. It wasn't like her to force though, it was totally the pokemon's decision if he wanted to come with her. The best performers were the ones that wanted it as soon as they saw it, she only hoped that the Pichu was one of those.</sub>

[Jay]

Seeing the pokeball, the Pichu brought a finger to his chin and slowly nodded. Ok! Maybe he could..... be part of the performance one day too.... After a few seconds, the small electrical mouse pokemon pressed the ball and disappeared inside. The ball itself rang in capture with ease.

Personality: Rather playful and cute, this Pichu is rather easy to please. he finds everything around him rather amazing and absolutely adores Asha's performer skills (and a part of him wishes to be able to learn how to as well). Like many Pichu, this youngster doesn't have full control over his electrical powers and will short-circuit himself on certain occasions.


The two Joys seemed to smile a bit eat each other rather glad to see the Pichu going to a good home.

[Olive]

Asha giggled aloud. It certainly was an adorable pokemon! She picked up the pokeball and pressed the button. The Pichu flashed out of the ball into her arms. The young woman smiled happily at the small electric mouse. "Welcome to the team Pit!" It never did take Asha very long to come up with good names.

She laughed again then looked around, "Pit, The Short Circuit!" Pit grinned gladly accepting his name. Asha was pleased. She turned to the Joys, "Thank you sooo much Nurse Joy! I'll make sure he's taken care of." She pet Pit on his head again while she turned her attention on Jacob. "And it was very nice meeting you Jacob," She said with a warm smile.

[Jay]

"You're welcome. Oh did you need me to look at any of your other pokemon while you're here?" the Nurse Joy asked with a kind smile. She wanted to make sure that the woman had everything she neeeded ^^. The young boy grinned as well and nodded. "Nice meet you too." He answered back with a general nod of his head.

[Olive]

"Oh no ma'am! All of them are a bit tired from last night but all they need is a little rest," Asha replied lightly. She thought for a moment. "Speaking of, do you know of any places where I might be able to get some sleep?"

Being an entertainer who performed mostly at night was a hard job. There was a lot of daytime sleep involved that made Asha feel somewhat lazy, especially when that time could be used for more practice. She was human though, and her flesh had won over. Combined with everything, she was worn out. Not to mention that she was still wearing a very heavy, formal gown and wouldn't mind changing back into her denim skirt and t-shirt.

[Jay]

The Nurse Joy smiled a bit. "Of course," she answered back. "The second floor is designated for travelers and guests." With that, she slowly started to walk out and lead the way to the second floor. Jacob seemed to be thinking about something but then noticed that his mother was already making her way out of the room and inevitably followed out of boredom. Walking to the stairs, the nurse led up said stairs and to a room down at the end of the hallway.

[Olive]

Asha giggled lightly at Jacob, he amused her. With Pit in her arms she followed the Joys up the stairs. Which, with five inch heels on, was absolutely not the easiest of tasks. The performer did eventually make the trail up the stairs. A huge sigh and Asha continued to the end of the hallway.

"Thank you so much Nurse Joy," she said gratefully, an exhausted but warm smile on her face.

[Jay]

"You're welcome ^_^" The Nurse Joy smiled back with an easy smile. She was glad that the pokemon center managed to stay open.... Hundreds of centers away from major areas had to be closed due to the general up in the air point of the kingdom. "If there's anything you need feel free to ask," she smiled. Jacob blinked for a moment and seemed to nod at this as well as though confirming the words.

[Olive]

"I will do that! Thank you!" Asha replyed. With a smile she nodded at the two then walked into her room. She put her heavy bag on the bed and plopped down beside it. Pit yawned and jumped from her arms. Within seconds he was curled up in the covers falling back to sleep. Asha giggled a bit from the utter cuteness the Pichu was exhibiting. "You've got the right idea hun."

[Jay]

Both Nurse and boy walked down the hallway to get back to work or wait as Asha napped. The Nurse was rather quick to get back to what she needed to get done while Jacob simply started wandering around and eventually found his way outside. There appeared to be a window in Asha's room, and on the other side of the glass, a Skitty could be seen curled up on the sill.

[Olive]

Asha stood up and walked over to the door, she closed it carefully, not wanting to disturb anyone. She scanned the room, it was a nice little room, but she was only planning on resting for a few hours before heading out again. With a yawn she retraced her steps back to her bag and unzipped the zipper.

She pulled out a neatly folded blue jean skirt and V-neck shirt. Pit was already snoring loudly, it was really cute. Asha giggled a bit then began to change clothes.

After she was back in her street clothes, she realized two things. One, why was she getting dressed to go to bed? Two, there was a random Skitty sitting on the window sill. The latter thought led her to one other thought. <Did I just change in front of an uncovered window!?!?!?> A sudden wave of stupidity and embarrassment ran over her, but she quickly returned to her second thought and forgot about the last one.

In a single half-sneaky, half-klutzy move, Asha pounced to the window. The Skitty seemed to be asleep, so she'd have to be extra careful when she opened the window. With a bit of hesitation, she placed her hands under a crack and pushed the window up. Asha had always wanted a Delcatty in her show, perhaps now, she could have that chance.

[Jay]

The Skitty remained asleep at least until the sound of the window opening caused his ears to prick a little. Slowly looking over his shoulder, the Skitty stared at the woman on the other side of the -- oh hey where did that shiny piece of glass go? Frowning, the Skitty slowly forced himself to sit up and sat rather still looking inwards at Ahsa. It seemed he was trying to become stone... or possibly see if the woman would ignore him and close the window again.

[Olive]

Asha stared at the Skitty. It didn't seem like it was going to move. Her jaw slowly started to drop along with a tilt of her head. She was in some sort of weird trance kind of thing. Odd.

"Pi?" Pit crawled up Asha's back to see what was going on. He stood on her shoulder and yawned again. The woman's tilted head and opened mouth confused the baby mouse. With a blink, Pit mimicked his trainer's pose. Maybe this was some weird human thing, to just randomly stare out the hole in the wall at nothi-- Pit looked out the window -- and utterly freaked out.

His eyes grew larger than his own over-sized head, all of his fur stood up. A cat!?!? "Pi.." Tiny electric sparks started to zap out of his cheeks. Asha blinked, then slowly turned her head to face the Pichu, except now her mouth was more of an O shape. Before she could say anything, Pit zapped out an electric attack, finishing his "CHUU!!" while shocking both Asha and himself. Asha proceeded to let out a "small" squeal.

[Jay]

The Skitty had remained still even when he noticed the Pichu. Maybe they would both just go away? The sudden electrical shock told him otherwise, and a startled 'ITTY!' escaped from the Skitty. All his fur stood on end from the small electrical shock, and his usual smiling face was now stern. Forming a sudden Ice Beam, he shot it at the Pichu in retaliation. "SKIT!" he shouted before jumping into the actual room now. Maybe if he could just scare the woman and the Pichu they'd leave him alone! Yeah we'll go with that!
