^{Riku spotted the Spoink and Shiftry and decided that she wanted them both, and thus made her way towards the direction they were going in, trying to head them off. Lucretia was taking a snooze wrapped around her trainer's shoulder and couldn't care less about the Pokemon, but the nearly forgotten Blizzard snorted and glared at the Shiftry - though you couldn't see his eyes, he was indeed glaring.}

Upon catching sight of the the girl, the Spoink stopped and turned towards her with large sparking eyes. o3o She... she was new! What did this mean? Hopping over towards her, the small psychic moved to grin at the girl. The Shiftry seemed to blink surprised but turned to stare now.

^{Oddly enough, Riku quite liked this little pig Pokemon already. She smiled back and gave a little wave. "Hi there." she greeted. Blizzard gave a snort and Lucretia pretended that there was nobody else there.}

The Spoink tried to wave but found herself limited due to the lack of general... appendages.... After a few seconds, she simply resolved to hop up and down on her spring and grin. The Shiftry looked a tad warily at the girl's pokemon as though not as fazed by her as them.

^{The purple-eyed trainer tilted her head. "They won't attack you unless you attack them, don't worry." she assured the Spoink, but practically contradicted herself by withdrawing Blizzard. She couldn't be positive that he wouldn't attack, but Lucretia was harmless when clinging to her, so she was kept out.}

[Jay]

Upon seeing the large mammoth-like pokemon returned, the Shiftry seemed to relax if only a little bit more. The Spoink giggled for some reason and then began to hop around the girl as though interested in the entire form of the girl. "Spoink oink spoin!!" she exclaimed asking where she had come from and why she was there and and and :3....

<sup>Riku chuckled softly at the Spoink's hyper movements, but she looked to Lucretia for a rough translation of what the pig Pokemon was saying. The octopus pantomimed 'home' and 'why'.

"Um.. I lived over in Johto, but I'm here looking for Pokemon.." She made a guess at what the Spoink was trying to say and answered to the best of her ability, hoping that she was right. She really needed to find someone to teach her how to understand Pokemon better sometime..</sup>

[Jay]

The Spoink seemed to slowly nod her form at this. Ah, that made sense o3o....kinda. After a few seconds, she sprang up and playfully tackled the girl. The Shiftry watched this and sweat dropped quite a lot ._.;

^{The lady giggled and caught the Spoink, then placed him back on the ground. She wondered what the Shiftry was doing hanging around with the little pig - was he a guardian of sorts for the tiny Pokemon?}

[Jay]

The small pig giggled lightly but then frowned a little as she was set down again. The Shiftry seemed to look at the woman with a calm stare of sorts and then slowly nodding his head. Alright, this woman didn't seem like any immediate threat, thankfully.

^{The purple-eyed trainer smiled and crouched down to the Spoink's level. "Would you like to come with us?" she asked, indicating herself and Lucretia. She looked to the Shiftry, adding "You can come, too, if you want.."}

C-c-co-come with? The Spoink's eyes grow large, and in another moment, she was hopping up and down nodding her 'head' over and over again. Sure! That would be fun! The Shiftry seemed to watch the Spoink before slowly smiling.

^{The trainer gladly tapped the Spoink on the pearl with a Pokeball, then looked at the Shiftry. "Did you want to come too..?" she asked tentatively. She hoped he did, but she wouldn't die if he didn't.}

Looking towards the Spoink and then towards the woman, the Shiftry closed his eyes a moment in thought but then finally opened them again and nodded his head a bit. Alright, yes, he would come.

^{Another Pokeball was used up as she tossed one at the Shiftry, holding the Spoink's ball in her hand already. Two free Pokemon without a fight~<3!}

The Spoink poked the ball and was dawn inside. The Shiftry was drawn inside as well. Both pokeballs seemed to ring in capture then and there.

Personality: Young and rather playful, this Spoink is quite childish. She usually doesn't mean to harm anyone though her general mindset tends to make her a tad pushy towards some pokemon. She likes the idea of discovering new things and believes herelf to be an explorer of sorts.

Gender: Male
Ability: Early Bird
Personality: Stoic and calm for the most part, this Shiftry can appear cold towards those around him. However, under his quiet front, he is actually rathr kind and gentle especially towards younger pokemon. He views himself as a guardian of sorts towards the Spoink and refuses to let her go anywhere alone.


Far off, a Gastly floated around a tree. However, that seemed to be the only pokemon in the area.

^{Riku spotted the Gastly, decided it was her best bet, and began to make her way in its direction. Lucretia had fallen asleep on her trainer's arm and was currently snoring softly as she napped, clinging tightly in place with her suction cups.}

The Gastly turned his head and stared at the woman that was approaching. Slowly turning upside down and sticking out his tongue, the Gastly 'greeted' the woman. "GASSSSSSSSST," he smirked.

^{"Hello~" purred Riku to the ghost Pokemon, smiling at it. Lucretia cracked an eye open then closed it again, not really giving a damn about the Pokemon in front of them at all.}

"Gast~" the Gastly answered back before slowly turning upright again. Suddenly floating around the woman, he turned his form from side to side. "Gas gastly~" he chimed repeatedly more or less speaking to himself in wonder at the woman.
