Hide and Seek (Open)

[Snow Soul]

Four Pokemon ran through the abandoned Barracks playfully as though playing a game. The Shiny Umbreon jumped onto a rafter and hid in the darkness as she peered at the floor behind her. The shiny eevee hid beneath a chair near a table. Furret raced around trying to find a place to hide in this new place until he slipped through a door and hid in a kitchen like space. Unlike the others Cyndaquil had gotten distracted was now running around looking at all the new things. Her curiosity led her back outside then back in as she explored every nook and cranny.

A faint counting was coming from outside as a red headed girl kept her emerald eyes shut. When she finally reached fifty she opened her eyes and called out, "Ready or Not Here I come!" Pushing off the wall she walked inside and peered around looking for her Pokemon. Her kind smile jumped to her lips as she noticed Cyndaquil not hiding but peering into a doorway. Carefully she snuck behind Flare and swooped her up causing the Pokemon to squeak in surprise. Giggling Rikka snuggled her Cyndaquil then let her back down to finish Exploring. "Don't go too far. Remember the last time you ended up back in your ball."

Night watched as Rikka past his hiding spot looking for them. Before he knew it he was being swept out from under the chair and into her arms. "Eevee!" Rubbing his head against Rikka's neck he jumped down and sat then decided to follow Cyndaquil around so she didn't get into any trouble. Rikka looked around searching for Umbreon and Furret. Raikiri soon spotted a shiny spoon in the cupboard and began to inspect it while waiting for Rikka to find him.

[Ilia]

Ilia walked around the large barracks, looking for something interesting. In the past few days, almost nothing had happened. Besides Togepi getting stuck in a log, but that was a story for another day. Snuggling Togepi, Ilia looked down at her feet. Both Nala and Mijumaru were running around, playing with one another. The trainer giggled as Mijumaru fell over, knocking Nala down. Kneeling, she set down Togepi and grabbed her Eevee, cleaning off her fur. After a second she placed her back on the ground and grabbed Mijumaru, who was still on the ground. "Now Mijumaru, I told you to be careful! And Togepi is suppose to be the dangerous one..."

Laughing to herself, she stood back up and looked over to the building. There was a door near Ilia, and it looked as if it would open. Smiling, she looked down, "C'mon guys! Let's go see what's going on in there! Maybe we'll find you some new friends." both Mijumaru and Nala jumped up in excitement, as they rarely saw other pokemon. Stepping forward, Ilia slowly opened the door. It creaked just loud enough to make the young trainer jump in surprise. Her pokemon followed suite, with Togepi hitting into Ilia's leg. Ilia smiled and picked up Togepi, hoping that the other two were okay, "Okay guys, be prepared for anything. You never know what could be in a place like this." finally stepping inside, Ilia looked around, surprised at how messy the place was. But still, it seemed like people had been there recently.

Flare walked around perked up when she heard a door opening. Looking at Night she wondered how far she could get. Looking away she took off with a burst of speed through the barracks. "Cynda~!" Sliding to a halt in front of a girl she blinked and slid forward a few more feet as a silver eevee slammed into her. Getting excited the Cyndaquil walked up to the girl and greeted her. "Cyndaquil!" Noticing the Togepi in her arms she squeaked. ("Hello I'm Flare!! Who are you guys and where'd you come from?") Night backed up and carefully watched the new person and Cyndaquil. He was getting ready to run and get Rikka.

Rikka slipped into the kitchen like area as she searched for Raikiri. Looking under some chairs then through some cupboards. Opening one she spotted Raikiri and grinned sweeping him into her arms as he tried to show her the spoon. "Very nice. You can put it into your pocket alright?" Raikiri chucked and leaped out of her arms to go put the spoon in the pack. Opening his pocket he stuffed it in there along with the other various things he had collected. Rikka walked out and smiled at him before she looked around for any blue bands. Looking up she grinned and pointed at Moon. "Alright found you!" Moving she caught her Umbreon and smiled. Letting her down she looked around and noticed Flare had disappeared. Again.

[Ilia]

Ilia jumped as she was suddenly run into by a pokemon. Looking down, she expected to see Nala or Mijumaru. Her surprised increased as she saw a Cyndaquil sitting there. Smiling she knelt down, with Nala and Mijumaru running around to see the other pokemon, "Well hello there little one. What're you doing here?" Ilia asked the Cyndaquil. As she realized the Cyndaquil was talkig to Togepi, she put her best friend down. ("Hi! I'm Togepi. Ilia's my human. We're from her home that's reallyyyyy far away.") Togepi smiled and waddled up to the Cyndaquil, with Mijumaru following. He had to protect his 'little sister' if the other was bad. 

Ilia was surprised that the Cyndaquil was all alone, "Do you have a trainer?" she asked her. Petting Nala, she hoped that she wasn't alone. The poor pokemon wouldn't be able to take care of itself then. Allowing the pokemon to talk amongst themselves, Ilia stood up. "Hello?" she called out, her voice cracking a bit. It would be great if someone else was there. For all she knew, it could be a kind old lady who would let their pokemon play. And Ilia could finally have a break from constantly watching Togepi. Nala rubbed against Ilia's leg before walking over to the others. ("I'm Nala. That's Mijumaru. Why're you all alone?") she asked, naive as ever.

Flare wiggled happily and sniffed about the girl's feet. Looking at the other pokemon she sat down and listened to the Togepi. "Cynda~!" Flare popped back up to her feet and walked around the Togepi looking her over. ("New! I've never seen someone like you.") Noticing the Mijumaru she sat down and waved at him. Cyndaquil was actually a very nice pokemon just very curious like a kid. Looking to the Eevee she blinked. ("I'm not alone! I got Rikka to look after me. But she likes to let me explore so long as I don't get in trouble. Uh oh.") Carefully she turned around to look at Night. She was gonna be in trouble again. Rikka was always telling her not to bother other Trainers. Tipping backward she saw the girl calling out. Maybe she wouldn't be in trouble after all.

Night backed up a few steps as the girl stepped forward and called out. Looking behind him he hoped Rikka heard the girl. His silver fur was hit by a ray of light and sparkled slightly. Stepping out of the light he flipped his ears back as he heard Rikka's foot steps. Rikka appeared a few minutes later. Blinking she looked at the girl then at her pokemon. "Hello!" Rikka noticed the Pokemon and smiled. "I hope she wasn't causing you any trouble. I was letting her explore." Rikka was followed by her Furret and a Shiny Umbreon. "Flare is the curious one over there and thats Night the Shiny Eevee. The Shiny Umbreon in Moon while the Furret is Raikiri." Rikka probably was only a year older then the girl standing before her.

[Ilia]

Nala smiled at the Cyndaquil. She certainly seemed like a friendly pokemon, "Eevee!" she said happily. Ilia looked down at the group of pokemon and smiled. They were already getting along quiet well. Togepi hopped up, and quickly fell over. Nala skidded over and helped her close friends up, ("You've never seen a Togepi?") the Eevee asked. She thought everyone had. Togepi pipped up, ("So I'm special? Yay!") of course, the Togepi thought everyone knew what she was as well. But she guessed she was wrong. Mijumaru blinked and slowly waved back at Cyndaquil. She was certainly happy. Nala tilted her head, ("Who's Rikka? Is that your human?") Cyndaquil was really nice so far. Following her gaze, she saw the pokemon that looked just like her... But different. Nala stepped forward a bit, and looked more closely at the pokemon.

Ilia caught a glimpse of light and looked down, where she saw an Eevee. Not just any Eevee though, a shiny one. Looking over a little, she saw Nala just as interested. Looking at the entire group for a minute, the girl was startled when another girl appeared. She looked to be around the same age as Ilia, thankfully, "Hi!" she said happily. It was nice to know she wasn't alone. "Not at all." Ilia laughed, "She was just entertaining my pokemon." she listened to the names of all the pokemon. Never did she think one person could have multiple shinies. Looking down, Ilia picked up Togepi, "This is Togepi, the Mijumaru is Mijumaru, and my Eevee is Nala." so far, it seemed like they would get along fine.

Cyndaquil piped up when Rikka appeared then ran over to her and planted her front paws on Rikka's knees. Rikka giggled and rubbed her head. "Your not in trouble this time. Though it would be nice if you would tell me which direction you were going." Cyndaquil squeaked then went back to her new friends. ("Nope never seen one.") Cyndaquil giggled over the Togepi's excitement. ("Yup. Rikka is my trainer. She is fun cause she likes to play games and rarely keeps us in our balls.") Night watched the Eevee and stepped back as timid as ever. Stepping back again he ran and hid behind Rikka. Moon braver then her teammate stepped closer and watched the other pokemon.

("Hi I'm Moon.") She watched the girl pick up the Togepi and tilted her head. That was a new pokemon. Watching the Ordinary Eevee she chuckled some. ("He's very timid. Though if your careful you might be able to get him to talk.") Night glared at Moon though he wouldn't stay mad for long. He had a small crush on Moon because of her gentle and brave nature. Rikka smiled and looked at the Togepi. "Well isn't she pretty. First time I've seen one in person. May I hold her?"

[Ilia]

Ilia laughed a bit at Cyndaquil. She was so cute! Shifting around so that Togepi was more comfortable, the trainer watched the pokemon play. It was quite sweet to see. "Eeveee!" Nala shouted in pure excitement. Everything was so new today, it was amazing to the little pokemon. ("Wowww.") Ilia looked over at the other trainer as the pokemon talked, "They seem to be getting along quite well." Mijumaru moved towards the other girls pokemon, ("Ilia does that too. She lets us run around if its safe. And she has yummy food!") Nala went over and pushed Mijumaru closer. He was so out of the loop! After a moment, the Eevee stepped toward the shiny version of herself. Tilting her head as he ran away, she frowned.

("Hi Moon!") Nala cheered, still looking at the Shiny Eevee. He was certainly interesting. Nodding at Moon, Nala continued to walk toward the other Eevee, ("Please come out. I wanna be friends!") she really liked the idea of meeting another Eevee. Ilia nodded, "Of course! She loves people. Togepi here is my oldest pokemon. Had her since I was little." Moving her arms around, she was able to hold out Togepi for the other girl to hold. Togepi was really loving all the attention she was getting, and Ilia could tell.

Cyndaquil looked at Night and squeaked at him. ("Scaredy cat. She just wanted to be friends!") Night looked at Flare and shook his head. ("Am not. I'm just careful. Unlike you.") Though he did move so he was sitting next to Rikka's feet. Rikka chuckled at Night's reaction to the other Eevee. "Definitely. Though I give it a few hours before Night actually will play. He's very Timid." Smiling she watched them talk a bit. Raikiri waved at Mijumaru then ran back to the pack and came back with his shiny spoon. ("Look! Its Shiny!") Finding things was his specialty.

Moon looked at Night and chuckled. Looking up she watched Rikka reach and hold the Togepi. Rikka smiled as she got to hold the Togepi. "Moon is my oldest. I got her when she hatched from an egg my mother found while traveling." It had just been luck that the Umbreon had been a shiny when she hatched. "You are very cute Togepi! Wanna go back to my Pack? I can get the pokemon some snacks." Furret's ears twitched as he heard the word snack. Night looked up then ran back to the pack.

[Ilia]

Nala giggled a bit, ("C'mon! I don't bite. Do you?") she asked in wonder. Even though they looked similar, she knew they could be completely different. ("Fine. I'll sit here until he talks to me.") resting her head on her paws, Nala stayed in her spot. The Eevee really wanted to friend him. Mijumaru follwed Raikiri a bit before waiting for him to come back. Immediately interested in the shiny object, Mijumaru smiled, "Miju..." Ilia looked down at her pokemon and smiled, glad they were so happy.

Ilia was glad that the other trainer liked her Togepi. It made her proud to have such a rare pokemon, in a sense. "I found Togepi when I was eight. She's been my best friend ever since. Of course I love the other two just as much." looking back at Mijumaru, she laughed, "Careful now, you don't want to get too interested in such a small object." the Mijumaru would easily get distracted even though he tried to stay focused. The girl was certainly lucky to have shiny pokemon. What Ilia wouldn't give for one. "I've got a few snacks as well. Trade off? I bet my pokemon would love something new to eat." Togepi wiggled around happily. She loved eating new things! It was always so interesting.

Night sat near the pack as he waited for Rikka to come and get snacks. Raikiri had no problem showing off his spoon. Holding it out for the mijumaru he smiled as he willingly shared his treasure. ("You can play with it if you want.") Rikka smiled and patted Raikiri's head for sharing his treasure. "Of course. I wouldn't think any thing other with the way they all behave." Rikka giggled as Ilia cautioned her pokemon. She saw the look on Ilia's face and smiled. Rikka sure was lucky she had two. It increased her chance of getting another Shiny pokemon from the two. "Sounds good." Feeling the Togepi wiggle around excitedly she giggled. "I bet they are too." Leading the way back to her pack she set the Togepi down with the other pokemon and dug through her pack. "Does Strawberry flavored Poke food sound good? And a couple of peaches for us."

Pulling out the container and the peaches she offered a peach to the other girl and showed Ilia's pokemon the Strawberry food. Moon followed after Rikka to see where Night had disappeared to. Noticing him by the pack she nudged him toward the Normal Eevee. ("Say Hello at least!") Night slid forward as Moon nudged him. Carefully he walked up to the other Eevee. ("Um. Hello.") He stepped back waiting for her to say something in return.

[Ilia]

Ilia looked at the shiny Eevee as the other trainer went over to her pact. Shaking her head, the trainer took her own bag off her shoulder and placed it on the ground so she could find where exactly she put the snacks. Mijumaru looked at his trainer for a minute before looking back at the shiny spoon. It was so pretty... ("Yes! Please. That'd be great.") he slowly reached out to grab the spoon, looking at it in wonder. He was completely distracted from the fact that they were about to be fed. "Yeah, they're all really great." Ilia said with a proud smile. She loved her pokemon to death. Ilia smiled at Rikka, she was such a kind girl. Reaching into her bag she pulled out a small package of treats that she owned. She laughed as she saw how giddy Togepi was with the situation. Togepi squealed again. She loved new foods so much. Ilia laughed, "Well of course. I've got some nuts in here too." holding the pack up a little, she smiled.

"Thanks." Ilia said as she took the peach. It would be nice to eat a fresh fruit for once. Taking a bite, the trainer offered the nuts to the pokemon. She knew hers were finally going to understand what overeating was after today. Nala took a nut and ate it, smiling at Moon, ("Nice to meet you! I'm Nala. Who're you?") the Eevee asked, even though she already knew. It was just a nice way to start.

Rikka handed out the snack a few pieces to each pokemon then put the jar into the bag again. Smiling she noticed Moon nudging Night to say something. Biting into her own Peach she watched the Togepi who was seriously giddy. Laughing she petted Night. Moon looked at the Trainer and took a nut. Furret popped a piece of poke food in the Mijumaru's mouth then took a nut for himself. After examining it thoroughly he ate it. Night hesitantly took the nut and ate it as he waited for a reaction from the other eevee. "Well looks like everyone is gonna be sleeping well tonight." Grinning Rikka watched her pokemon as she took another bite of her peach.

Cyndaquil happily to the nut and ate it rather quickly. Night blinked as the Eevee finally reacted. ("Night. Nice to meet you?") The last part came out as a question rather then a statement. Moon chuckled at Night and laid down to watch the pokemon talk. Rikka smiled at Ilia. "Your welcome."

[Ilia]

Ilia smiled as her pokemon slowly took the snacks. Nala ate hers quickly, quite hungry from the days activities. They were all so happy. Eating her peach slowly, Ilia noticed how shy the shiny Eevee was. She giggled, glad to see how interested Nala was in him. Togepi sqealed once again as she ate her treat. It was so yummy! A large smile stayed on her face as she stood with Rikka. Ilia, figuring all the pokemon who wanted nuts had some, put away the extras. Mijumaru jumped slightly as the furret gave him the food suddenly. Eating it, he nodded, ("This is really good!") Ilia laughed, "That'll be great. These three need to sleep more." taking a bite of her peach, the trainer watched as the pokemon interacted.

Nala giggled at Night. He was such a shy Eevee, very different from any other one she ever met, ("Of course it's nice. I never knew Eevees like you existed!") the normal Eevee exclaimed. Mijumaru continued to look at the spoon happily, ("Togepi! Come see this!") he shouted at the giddy pokemon.. Togepi nodded and began to climb down, wondering what Mijumaru wanted.

Rikka smiled and took another bite of her peach. Offering Moon a bite the Shiny Umbreon took a large bite. Rikka giggled and finished eating her peach. Raikiri smiled and headed back to the kitchen like area. Looking through drawers he was trying to find another spoon or maybe something shiny. He liked sharing and it seemed the Mijumaru liked the spoon. Rikka set the Togepi down and grinned. She was so happy. "I don't think I've ever seen a pokemon happier then your Togepi." Cyndaquil yawned and tried to cover it up as she crawled into Rikka's lap, who by now had finally sat down. Rikka smiled and returned Cyndaquil to her ball to take a nap. "Looks like its getting close to nap time."

Night noticed Rikka's lap free and quickly crawled into it as Nala started talking again. ("I'm a shiny. Just a glitch in the DNA. I think.") That was Nights explanation on why he was a shiny. Usually Pokemon left him alone when he didn't talk back but of course it wasn't the case with this one. She was very intimidating to him.

[Ilia]

Ilia took a large bite of her peach and smiled. She was certainly glad that her companion wasn't rude. The girl had almost no experiences with mean people, even though she knew some. A giggled escaped her lips as the umbreon took some of the peach. They were certainly a happy group. And for some reason, that cheered up Ilia even more. As she looked around, the trainer rolled her eyes. Of course Mijumaru would be so interested in the spoon. He was the strangest thing. Togepi cheered again as Rikka set her down softly. Ilia picked up the small pokemon, completely in love with her. She always had the need to hold her, for some reason or another, "Aha, yeah. Togepi is just a bundle of job." she hugged her Togepi and laughed, both happy. The trainer watched as Cyndaquil yawned. She had never seen a pokemon get tired so quickly. Except for Togepi, of course.

"Nap time?" Ilia asked, giggling. Her pokemon didn't really have a nap time, but if they got tired, she would put them into their pokeballs. ("That's cool!") Nala said to her counterpart. He was so interesting. A small frown appeared as Night rested on his trainers lap. She slowly understood that he might just not want to talk right now. Shaking her head, she looked over at the spoon Mijumaru had.

Rikka smiled and watched the group of pokemon. It seemed they were very happy about meeting new friends. Well all but Night who was trying to make it look like he wasn't hiding in her lap. Giggling she watched Mijumaru become entranced by the spoon while Ilia picked up her togepi again. "Cyndaquil has been running around for hours now so it was bound to make her sleepy after getting some snacks." Rikka smiled at her and looked over at the other. The normal eevee seemed to have given up talking to Night at the moment.

"Yeah Nap time or Chill time. Usually we play or take naps about this time." Giggling she picked up Night and cuddled the timid creature. Watched Nala finally give up but now he felt bad. Rubbing his head against Rikka's chin he hopped down and carefully walked over to Nala. ("Um. Want to play Hide and s-seek?") Moon watched and knew Night felt bad about making the normal eevee quit talking.

[Ilia]

Ilia giggled quietly as she watched all of their pokemon interact. Her's rarely got to spend time with others, so it was quite enjoyable for them, she could tell. After all, the trainer hadn't been out exploring for that long of a time. She was still getting used to most things, "Oh Mijumaru..." the trainer laughed. He was certainly behaving differently than he normally did. Of course, he was also having much more fun with his new friends. Mijumaru didn't notice much outside of the spoon, of course. It was so interesting, so different. At least, in that moment it did. Ilia held Togepi lightly, the creature getting more and more tired, "Of course. Togepi here lives outside of pokeballs, so she tires easily." Nala sat quietly, sad that the other Eevee was so quiet. She understood it, she just wanted to have more fun.

"Really? I may have to do that. We have short breaks, but its normally just to eat a bit. We try to get to towns as quickly as possible, you know?" something about being in towns made Ilia feel safer than in the woods. Especially since she worried something would happen to her pokemon. Looking down, she spotted Nala all alone. Right as she set down Togepi, Moon was there. ("Of course!") Nala cheered. She loved playing tag. It'd be fun with such a large group of pokemon too.

[Snow Soul]

Rikka smiled as he pokemon seemed to be having fun. When Night jumped out of her lap she seemed slightly surprised until she saw that Nala was sad. Chuckling she watched him say something and Nala perk back up. Moon watched and chuckled. Leaving Night to talk she padded over to the other pokemon and spoke loudly. ("So who all wants to play Hide-n-seek??") She was going to get others attention so Night only had to have asked Nala.

"Oh yes it helps to have a schedule when you have young pokemon but Older pokemon like a slight schedule too. I usually always try to keep a nap in my list of things to do." Rikka tapped her chin as she thought about it. "Once they get more stamina Naps happen less and less. Moon and Night could go all day now that they are a bit older. Flare not so much. She takes a nap more often then not." Night watched Nala and perked his ears up slightly. ("Would you like to be seeker first or do we want Moon to seek first?") He was sure they could probably get Rikka to play with them again. Rikka liked games.

[Ilia]

Ilia watched the pokemon, all enjoying each others company. They were certainly happy. She laughed as Nala and Night spoke to one another. Obviously, her Eevee had guilted the other into playing. The trainer really wasn't surprised by that. Keeping ahold of Togepi, Ilia was glad things were working out between them all. Togepi perked up at the sound of hide and seek, along with Mijumaru. ("Let's play!") Togepi cheered, trying to get free from Ilia's grasp. Jumping as Togepi moved around, Ilia set down the hyper pokemon, "I guess they've decided to start a game." she smiled, watching them all gather.

"That's a good idea. These guys aren't too young... But Togepi is hyperactive anyways. I'll steal that from you, if you don't mind." she laughed softly. She certainly knew a lot, for someone around the same age as Ilia. Of course, Ilia knew some of this, just from watching her own pokemon grow. Nala thought for a moment, figuring out if she wanted to seek or not. It was fun... But tiring as well. ("I think Moon should seek first.") she smiled. Turning to Mijumaru, she went over and moved the spoon, ("C'mon silly, we're gonna play a game!")
