I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..
Laughter and the sound of loud thumping paws sounded through the small den in the forest, ice cracking and shattering to the ground, accompanied by a teenagers laughing. "Angiteur!" From behind a tree stepped an Ursaring, a six foot teenager sitting on his shoulders. Human sounding laughter rang out from the bear as it stopped around, waving the teenager from side to side. The bear pokemon was snarling and dancing around, the both of them laughing. The boy laughed out once more, "Angiteur! Put me down! The bear sighed, lifting the boy off his shoulders, holding him in front of him frowning. Speaking in crystal laced English, he asked, "Awww! Do I have to Dakota?" The bear pretend pouted, mock looking sad. The boy smiled, but then turned serious, "Yes, you do."
Reluctantly, and also with a sigh, the pokemon put his master down on the ground. Slowly, as if it was a normal thing, the bear's paws was entwined within the boy's, the kept walking on into the forest. Dakota was laden in a thick and elegant winter coat, the freezing air and snow whipped against it, the boy unaffected. Slowly and softly he spoke to the Ursaring, "It reminds me of home Angiteur, in the winter..." The boy's hand tightened around the paw of the pokemon as he replied, "Yes.. It's beautiful.." In front of them, a large pool of ice lay, surrounded by a mass of iced trees, the forest was pure white, and it was wonderful. Suddenly, Dakota's voice was cold as the snow surrounding them, and harsh. "We can't go home... Not until he's dead." The final word had a harsh emphasis on it, somewhat shocking the bear, but he just held the boy's hand as they kept walking, snow and ice crunching beneath their feet. Suddenly the bear lifted the boy, holding him in front of him, his face solemn and serious, the flecks on snow against his brown fur making the effect more ingrained. "It doesn't matter. I am ALWAYS here for you. Wherever you are is home to me." Without letting the boy speak, the Ursaring kissed him. Yes. Kissed him. Quickly after, drawing the boy into a tight hug, the two just stood there, in the snow, the white showering down onto the iced forest. Little to the boy's knowledge, his pokemon seemed to care for him as more than a friend. Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..

"And then we'll go visit Akira and play with Tim and..." Illyasviel von Einzbern sat on the back of Abby and continued to talk as her pokemon slowly tuned out exactly what the girl was saying. Abigale had a general idea of what was being said but was still not fully listening to her trainer at that point. Instead, she was more or less trying to listen in for any sort of disturbance that might key her in a general protective direction. They were on the move again, and despite Ilya's father's fear of what would befall his child, the young girl had long since disregarded the general order of her parents. "And what do you think I should wear?" was what Abby had tuned into of her trainer's voice. The Absol blinked and finally sighed out a general 'sol' as though answering the question but using the translation barrier to confuse Ilya. The young girl took it as she would and began to go on as if Abby had actually said something of value. Abby shook her head a bit trying to regain her sense of hearing past Ilya's talkative voice, but as she turned her head, the Absol froze in mid step catching sight of what appeared to be a man and a great bear pokemon. "Sol......" was the only thing that came from Abby.

The boy pushed back, the kiss deepened, and then two remained locked in the hug. After what seemed like forever, the bear pokemon went to put the boy back on the ground, smiling widely, quite proud of himself for some odd reason. That was when he slipped. The giant bear pokemon, arms still wrapped around the boy fell backwards, slamming against the snowy ground, the two began laughing. "Haha! This is what you get for messing around in an icy forest!"
Dakota was now on top of the Ursaring, still laughing and poking him in the chest. Before the Ursaring could respond, they head the voices of both human and pokemon. It was then the two, through the flecks of falling snow, saw a young female, and her Absol. The two stared back as they noticed the pokemon staring at them, they stood up, staring back still. "What is a child doing wandering in this forest?" The boy's voice was a bit snotty, as if young children don't belong in such a place. The giant bear shrugged, one paw resting on the boy's shoulder. They stood waiting, and staring back. Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..

Abby just stood there staring for a long moment as though unsure she could go onwards with those two there. There was a chance her young miss could be attacked while they passed, and Abby found no way to get around it. It was after thirty seconds or so that Ilya finally released she was no longer in motion and blinked in confusion. Looking down at Abby before looking in the direction at which the Absol was staring, the young girl caught sight of the boy and the bear and grinned. "Hi!" she called waving one hand high in the air. Abby mentally deadpanned.

The boy somewhat frowned as the girl bounced up, waving at them, yelling out a greeting. The greeting echoed loudly through the forest, eventually bouncing around the bear and his master. Dakota's icy eyes were still fixed upon the Absol, the disaster pokemon. How strange, such a young girl, has such a powerful pokemon... He snapped out of it, and went to speak, but was beaten to it by Angiteur.
"Little girl, why are you here?" The bear pokemon's voice boomed and echoed loudly amongst the icy barriers surrounding them. Angiteur stepped closer to Dakota, eyes warily watching the other trainer and her pokemon. He was overprotective, he didn't trust the two just yet. Dakota stood quietly, his coat flapping around him as a wind picked up, waiting for a reply from the young girl.

The white haired girl blinked obviously surprised at a talking Ursaring. Her eyes grew large for a few seconds in awe before they finally retracted and she smiled. "We're headed to my cousin's house," Ilya answered back with an easy smile. Abigale made no movement yet seemed to be judging whether or not to speak. After a moment, she let out a careful 'sol' and began to speak to the large bear pokemon specifically. <Forgive me for the intrusion. I was taking my Miss to as she says, her cousin's house, and your presence startled me with myself assuming you were some sort of threat> the Absol spoke in careful articulate words much in the way her father, Ilya's grandfather's Absol, did.

Dakota and Angiteur exchanged a quick glance, Angiteur nodded at him, and the boy sighed and grew less tense. The girl seemed sweet, and was kinda cute. Dakota smiled, maybe he could get along with this child, possibly... Hopefully?
Angiteur then listened as the Absol spoke, eyes glued to it,r replying in English. It is not an issue, don't be concerned. Would you like us to accompany you the rest of the way? The bear's voice was elegant and soft, the boy and bear began to walk towards them calmly, they meant no harm, and the girl safely getting to where she was going safely would be self rewarding.

At first Abigale was surprised, yet as the two didn't seem to wish any ill will against her or her beloved Miss, Abby smiled and nodded. <If you wish.. that would be most appreciated. My name is Abigale, but most call me Abby> the Absol finished. Ilya's eyes grew, and after a moment, she moved her legs and slipped off the Absol's back and towards the large bear pokemon. "Wowizowie...." Ilya said aloud as her pink eyes only seemed to grow larger. "You're really really tall...." she commented before giggling lightly.

I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..
Angiteur and the boy kept walking, the snow still battering violently at the forest, the boy's coat fluttering rapidly. Dakota smiled at the two as they drew closer, this girl seemed sweet, so, Dakota would be nothing but kind to her. Brushing the flakes off his royal purple coat, he was surprised to see that the girl was actually riding on the Absol's back, how cute!
Angiteur spoke kindly to the pokemon, "My name is Angiteur. A pleasure to meet you!" The large bear the boy bowed in unison, they had been taught to be respectful and corteous, and the lessons stuck. The boy then graciously bowed once more the the girl, speaking, "Greetings, I am Dakota, a pleasure to meet you both." As the girl walked up to Angiteur and marveled at his height, they both chuckled. Angiteur grabbed Dakota, the protesting was very loud, but as he was put on the Ursaring's shoulder, he stopped.
"Tall? Well.. I am only 6'7, I'm not THAT tall... " The bear said modestly, surprised that the girl didn't notice the marking instead of his height. "A guardian fitting for a noble child, no?" Dakota said proudly as he stroked the Ursaring's head, he took great pride in Angiteur, he always protects him and does his "job" well... Even though they both wanted more. Angiteur chuckled, hoping his speaking like a human didn't shock the two too much.

Ilya smiled happily at the introduction and then nodded. "My name is Illyasviel but most just call me Ilya and..." she managed to catch herself from ranting only because Abby nudged her gently. "Oh and this is Abby," Ilya smiled happily. Abby let out a quiet breath and then made a rather deep bow that suddenly seemed to remind Ilya who quickly made a quick curtsy and went on. As the comment on height was addressed, the young girl giggled easily, yet as Dakota more or less stated that he was a noble, the white haired girl blinked slowly. She had seen other nobles, it was true, but the thought of meeting one this far into anywhere was o3o odd.... Instead of addressing the question that was now on her mind, Ilya simply went back to staring at the height of the bear pokemon. "I don't even know if Berserker is that tall..." she stated thinking on her Daikenki but not making any reach to release him.

I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..
Angiteur gently prodded Dakota as the boy began to nuzzle up closer on the bear, he didn't want to be rude or acting as such in front of guests. "What a lovely name."
Angietur's voice was still soft and extremely sweet, head tilting up, tongue stretching out to catch a snowflake or two, the bear smile widely. Dakota spoke after him, "You're such a cute little girl!" He couldn't help himself, the girl seemed so sweet and cute, he had to tell her. His fingers kept twisting in Angiteur's fur, he still remained on his shoulders. Once more Dakota used his hand to brush off the snow gathering on his coat once more, his icy blue eyes peering around the den, and he gasped loudly at what he believed he saw. He didn't know, but it was an illusion. A Ninetales, adorned with an elegant collar pranced and wove in-between the trees, snow melting around her... Reese. The boy shook his head, turning back to the girl and pokemon in front of Angiteur and him. "Beserker?" Dakota asked inquisitively, curious as to if this Pokemon could possibly be as big as his giant guardian. He silently huffed, mentally doubting it. Before anything else happened, Angiteur took the boy from his shoulders, hugging him tightly. "You're so sweet!" He was a little late, but he didn't care, he continued to hug and cradle the boy, right in front of the two. Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..

Ilya giggled at the comment about being sweet and seemed to turn a tad pink for a moment before smiling pleasantly. "Thank you!" she answered back with a smile on her face. As the snow came down, the young girl pushed her rather large purple hat back into place on her head and then seemed to giggle again as the question of who Berserker was came up. Reaching into her pocket, the white haired girl released a large Daikenki who seemed to slide even so slightly in the snow due to its slipperiness. Abby backed up a bit to give room for Berserker more or less not wanting to get squashed by accident. "This is Berserker!" Ilya grinned making a motion to the Daikenki who seemed to blink for a moment before looking towards the boy and the Ursuring and nodding silently.

Dakota growled and fought against the bear's loving notions. In the midst of it, when the girl thanked him, he turned politely and nodded, as if a "you're welcome." After a little more struggling pursued, the bear, being a smartass, dropped the boy to the ground, he huffed and quickly stood up. After a quick glare, the bear laughed and smiled. "Well, you wanted to be put down."
The bear continued laughing, Dakota royally embarrassed, his face going a bright red. Angiteur quickly snuggled himself around Dakota, keeping the boy warm, being as close as possible to him. Then came Beserker. As the white light faded from the pokemon, the two gaped. He was giant, he appeared to be much bigger than an average Daikenki, and he was an extraordinary shade of blue. "Hello~! I am Angiteur" The bear said politely, and properly once more. As the wind whipped again, the temperature seemed to be dropping, and fast. Looking up into the sky, the sun looked as if it was going down, the sky darkening. "Shouldn't we be going? It's getting dark... And frigid..." His voice was normal, teeth somewhat chattering. Angiteur nodded in agreement, preparing to put the boy on his shoulders once more. Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..

Berserker nodded and made a rather quiet comment 'hello'. Upon hearing Dakota, Ilya suddenly seemed to look towards the sky and then nodded with a surprised look on her face. She hadn't even realized that time had moved so quickly. After a moment, the white haired girl returned the Daikenki and moved towards her Absol before slowly getting back on again. Abby was extremely careful not to move in order to make sure that Ilya didn't accidentally fall off or something because of motion. As the pink eyed girl finally sat atop her trusty quadruped, she looked back. "Ya! Let's go!" she said rather excitedly.

I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..
The snow began to become more visible against the blackened sky. Dakota's royal purple coat kicked up once more in the wind, the fake fur trim getting dusted with light snow. Even for royalty, the boy hated real fur, he found it disgusting of humans to wear. Angiteur, fur speckled white with flakes of snow, picked up the shivering boy once more, holding him close, cradling him once more. "Don't worry Dakota, I'll carry you~."
The boy's face shot into a bright red color, nuzzling into the Ursaring. Dakota then spoke, curiosity peaked. "How far away is your cousin's house anyway?" He had stopped shivering, Angiteur warming him up by a good deal. The giant bear pokemon continued to trudge through the snow, sighing as Dakota seemed to be getting sleepy, even though the boy loved the cold. The two kept quiet, and seemed to be somehow silently speaking, awaiting for the others to speak before they did again. Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..

"Not really sure," Ilya answered back to the question. "Abby knows the way more than I do." This was, in fact, very true. Abby herself nodded a bit as she continued to walk through the frozen snow. Her large feet, almost disproportional to the rest of her body, proved to be excellent snow shoes of sorts in that they balanced out both her weight as well as the child's on her back. The Absol took long strides yet seemed to move slowly even with this. <About five miles, I believe> Abigale stated aloud in a mixture of 'sol' and 'abis'. <But there is a rest house only a mile from here...no... point nine-six miles but...anyways...> she broke off and continued walking. Ilya blinked not being able to guess anything that had just been said from Abby.

I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..
Dakota's face was flushed a light red, the cold surrounding him, snow flecked his face. As the girl answered as not knowing, he sighed loudly. He didn't mind being in the cold for long, he loved it, he just was worried about the well being of the girl. Well, now he and Angiteur accompanying her through the woods, along with her Absol, everything would be fine. Dakota's head snapped to attention in another direction, he heard the sounds of shattering and loud thumps. Screaming voices seemed to echo with them, they sounded familiar too... "Dakota, what's wrong?"
The giant Ursaring noticed the boy's worried look, eying him suspiciously. His voice was low and solemn as he replied to Angiteur, "It's nothing.. I'm hearing things, nothing important.." His eyes had begun to water, his head turned away from the pokemon holding him, the boy wrapping his coat around himself, hiding it from Angiteur. The bear huffed acknowledgment of the Absol's speaking, his focus on Dakota, face stern, paws holding him tightly. Then it sounded. A loud scream echoed through the forest, Daktoa's lip turning white from teeth sinking into it. No one else heard that.. Right? Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..

Ilya remained oblivious to Dakota's notions, and the scream did not reach her ears for one reason or another. However, Abigale seemed to tense considerably as the atmospheric pressure i n the area rose substantially in a short amount of time which caused her horn's natural pressure to rise as well. Turning her head sharply towards a tree, the Absol stopped walking completely. "Abby?" Ilya blinked now noticing that her Absol had stopped walking. Abigale was leaning a bit now and finding that the extra weight towards the right was causing her to sink ever so slightly in the snow. <Something's wrong....> the Absol breathed before looking towards the bear. <...Let's move a bit faster....>

I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..
Dakota's eyes flicked around the forest now, head poking out from underneath his coat. Looking around the forest, a familiar song bounced in his mind, the sounds had stopped for now, soft sounds now coming from him. "I'll miss the winter, a world of fragile things..." Angiteur knew this song, humming softly, so low as not to be heard. Something was wrong with the forest, the bear guardian just shook it off, holding the boy close.
Looking over to the Absol as it spoke, he nodded in agreement. "Something's off..."
He whispered, the boy seeming to doze off once more. He was always tired, no matter how much sleep he got. The bear's pace sped up a little bit, the snow beneath his feet fading away quickly. Something bad was about to happen here.. Angiteur did not want to be anywhere near it. Look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hallowed tree..
