Nothing, a deep void of black. This was the first thing that the boy registered as he slowly returned to consciousness. Everything was so dark and quiet, allowing his thoughts to resonate clearly in his mind - giving him a nice little headache. Tossing his head to the side, Ryuu groaned audibly - wait... audibly? He heard himself? Not only could he hear himself, but he was beginning to hear other things now as well. Feeling slowly began to return to his numb being like the blood pumping through his veins, giving him a warm, tingling sensation that made him shutter. Flexing his hands, he felt the familiar, cold metal of his guns, and suddenly, he felt some relief. Wherever he was, and whatever the hell had just happened didn't seem to matter anymore, he could fight for himself, and that's what did.
After what seemed like hours to the boy, he was finally able to sit up, the strap of his bag pulling back against his chest with the weight of the items inside and he sighed. Well, whoever brought him to where he was obviously wasn't a thief, that was good... but, regardless, he was still going to kill them. All but growling at the sudden thought of being kidnapped, Ryuuga forced his eyes open and immediately regretted it. His whole world spun like mad,this way and that, colors blending, shifting and swirling - making him want to throw up then and there. But with squeezing his eyes shut, he managed to hold it back, and this time, a little smarter, eased himself into the movement.
Then, realization sunk in. He hadn't been kidnapped, there was a storm... and they had crashed. Wait... they... ZAIPHON! Looking around, he quickly spotted the Salamence laying not too far off and scrambled off to his side, "Hey Zai, you alright?" He asked, checking the dragon over for wounds, but he seemed fine - and the nod he received in response, settled him a bit. It still seemed to be storming outside, as rain hit the floor below the hole in the ceiling they had made and thunder clashed outside. It seemed, with this, they would be here for awhile, one may as well take a look around. Pulling out a ball, he returned the dragon and stood up, tucking the ball away as he carefully made his way across the room.

The sound of rain hitting the roof of Aerial Tower sounded more like bullets hitting a wall rather than water droplets. Not far in a corner of the tower, a plush white and blue creature lay shivering with a very scared look on her face. The Altaria had come in to avoid the rain, yet the sounds of something moving towards her now terrified her.

Continuing forward, blissfully unaware of the creature in the corner, Ryuu looked down at the floor, focused on not tripping or falling through weak spots. Though, the closer he got to what he thought was a stairway, the more he heard something. Movement? Looking up slowly as he stopped, his hand falling down to the pokeballs at his side, he focused on the corner the Altaria was in and took a step closer, humming a 'hello?' softly.

The Altaria stared towards the man that she saw now. Unsure of what to say or do when the question was posed to her, she made a small chirping sound before falling silent again. A crack of thunder make the Altaria tense again and shiver slighly in fear.

Hearing the chirping noise, Ryuuga stood tall and let his hand fall from the pokeballs as a small smirk touched the corner of his lips. Inching forward now, he extended a hand for the Altaria, meaning he meant no harm. Now, Ryuu wasn't much of one for feelings, but Pokemon were one of the things he cared bout... Symmetrical ones, at least... and he felt bad for the general feeling coming from the corner, "Hey, it's fine..." He tried to comfort, foreign to the action himself, he knew he would most likely fail.

The Altaria stared up towards the man and then looked at the hand before slowly leaning herself forwards and bringing her head up under his hand. "Taria...." she stated rather quietly as though trying to repress her fears as much as possible.

Somewhat surprised that that had worked, Ryuu's smirk turned into a soft smile as he slowly pet the Altaria. Taking another step closer, he placed his other hand on her neck and did his best to comfort her as he talked slowly, "You'll be fine... Nothing is going to happen... alright?" He offered, his voice shaking with his best attempt at being kind.

The Altaria seemed to slowly become comforted by the pet and leaned into Ryuuga's hand just a bit more. "Taria....altari....atlta..." she slowly began to hum to herself as though internally soothing herself in the process. The storm continued, yet the Altaria was slowly calming now.

Finding himself lulled a little by her humming, Ryuu closed his eyes and leaned against the Altaria, enjoying the melody. He found himself matching it now and then, a light blush raising to his cheeks at how vulnerable he must seem right now. After what seemed to be forever to the boy, he sat back up and rubbed an eye, looking at the pokemon. "You gonna be alright?" He asked as he ran his hand over her head again.

The Altaria had continued humming in that while, and after what seemed like such a short time to her, the Altaria found that the man was speaking again. She was quiet for a moment but then nodded slowly. "Taria..." she answered back in a quiet tone before smiling rather heartfelt towards the man.

Lowering his head at the smile, feeling odd things for the pokemon, he sighed. Something wasn't right with him... was it... "Would you... come... with me...?" He asked, finding it hard to get it out. "I'll keep you safe..." He finished, his voice fading away with yet another blush. Damn, since when had he gone soft?

The Altaria stared at the man for a moment and then slowly seemed to nod. This was... wow... did he really mean? A quiet smile lit her face as the bird pokemon came closer and rubbed her head against Ryuuga all but purring despite her species.

Seeing the nod made Ryuuga's heart skip a beat as a sincere smile found its way to his lips. Her affection was overwhelming, yet, he didn't despise it. No... it felt rather nice to be loved like this again... he found, he had missed it. Pulling out a ball, he gave her a gentle hug before whispering, "Thank you..." And pressed the ball to her.

The Altaria disappeared within the ball trailed by a red light, and the ball itself did not move afterwords. Instead, silence consumed and finished the deal of sorts.

Gender: Female
Ability: Natural Cure
Personality: Quiet but extremely loving, this Altaria wishes to remain as close to her trainer as possible. She is not much of a fighter but will do what she can when her trainer is threatened. She doesn't get angry easily and is rather good around all age groups. However, she does prefer to be around children and teenagers for one reason or another.
The rain continued, yet aside from that, there was silence in the area.

Continuing to smile as he picked up the ball, Ryuu tucked it away and took a look around the room. His smile quickly faded, his facade returning to normal at the silence - something that he was quite thankful for really. Everyone deserved a good down time now and then, but his worried him. With a small sigh, loving the sound of the rain on the roof, Ryuuga continued on his way to where he believed there were stairs.

The stair case that led down the tower had long since fallen down, and all that was a place in the floor where one would have gone down. However, if one looked straight down the hole, one could see a Pidgey nesting not too far down.

Taking one last look around the level he was currently on, Ryuuga ran a hand through his hair before sitting himself on the edge of the hole and lowered himself down. With a huff, he pushed off and hit the floor below with a thud, paying the Pidgey little attention as he stood up and looked around the current level he stood on. Glancing at the small bird, he sighed and took out a ball, releasing the silver colored Eevee - Strata, to stand by his side. Tilting his head, the Eevee barked at the Pidgey as Ryuu moved on a bit.

The Pidgey seemed to jump if ever so slightly at the sound that had come from Ryuu's landing, and when the Eevee was released, she tensed even more looking a tad scared there was going to be an attack. Not far off, a Taillow was under the impression the human was there to attack as well and charged right then and there screaming out his name rather viciously.

Strata smiled at the Pidgey, wagging his tail before tensing, his head whipping around at the sound of the Taillow before crying out his own name, using a Quick Attack to catch up to Ryuu. With a bark, he flew up before the Taillow and used a Takedown against the bird, protecting his trainer. Ryuu, completely unprepared for this, fell back onto the ground, staring up at the Eevee above him.

The Taillow had been hit hard by the Takedown but didn't seem to give up at all and recoiled with a swift Wing Attack as though trying to beat back the normal type as fast as possible and get back to his real irritation then and there. However, as he used the wing attack, the Taillow showed an odd coloring on his wings. Was he... why yes he was a shiny... interesting.
