The lakes Solid appearance made it so worth trip to Sol Beach. Blondish white hair was hidden beneath a cap while a girl put on a pair of skates someone had lent her. Lacing them up she smiled and crawled over to the ice carefully. She could hear others already out there enjoying the moment. Standing up on the ice she heard her Togepi running forward only to slip and go sliding against the ice. Ralts was a bit more careful and walked over to the Togepi picking her up. Handing her to Mekura she smiled. Mekura carefully took the Togepi. ("Its very slippery Mekura no falling!")
Mekura smiled at her Ralts. "I know. Thats why I have skates on." Pulling her scarf out of her pocket she wrapped Togepi in it. Her Shiny Ninetales had opted to stay in her poke-ball not liking colds places all that well. Risa giggled and followed after Mekura who had pushed off and was sliding forward. Togepi was thrilled at getting to go skating with Mekura. It was magnificent. Kaiyou wiggled slightly and let out a series of sounds as she watched the others slide forward on their skates also.
Risa looked around at the colorful world and wondered what it would be like to be blind like Mekura. Though Mekura never seemed to be blind. She always took the world in stride with a withdrawn appearance. Even if you looked at Risa's trainer you wouldn't notice she was blind. Mekura must have noticed her silence because before Risa could blink Mekura had scooped her up and was hugging her close while avoiding running into other people.

Kei wasn't sure if that was a good idea at all. Even if he did admit that his pokemons need some fun from time to time, it was beyond him why exactly did they choose this as an entertainment to pass time. Shuri was delighted by the snow and the ice for reasons beyond Kei's knowledge but he didn't want to prevent the pokemon from having some fun.
Kei was standing at the side of the lake still on steady ground, not daring to walk on the ice and watched Shuri, the small shiny Eevee as he placed his paws one after the other carefully on the slippery surface. It seemed he was growing accustomed to the ice slowly and with one cheerful laugh he leaped forward and slid a few meters away before loosing balance and eventually falling flat on his stomach. "Veee~" It didn't seem to discourage the little one, instead it just irked his will. He stood up again to slide to the other side in front of his tamer, yet again ending up flat on the ice. "Hey, Shuri, be careful!" The Eevee just repeated his process, once looking up at Kei with pleading eyes, mentioning to him with his head and body to come as well and play. "No way, I won't go on the ice." Shade was carefully sniffing the ice before placing one black paw on the surface and slowly walking onto the lake. Ice was clearly not the Houndour's territory but he didn't want Shuri to be alone in his fun. He slowly walked to Shuri who circled around the dog happily.
Slipping forward again, the shiny pokemon actually forgot that there was a thing he didn't really learn on ice yet - how to stop. As he fell on his stomach the hundredth time already he almost collided with a Togepi and whined to the little one apologetically, and pressed his ears back on his head. Shade walked to them as well and picked up Shuri to place him steadily on his legs again then sniffed into the air.
Watching his pokemons playing made Kei content enough, he didn't wish to skate anyway. No secret he wasn't a pro at the sport, he could hardly even stand straight when being on ice, so he passed the opportunity instead. Though he somehow wished Shuri would be more careful, watching where he was going and not ending up getting acquainted with another trainer's pokemon. That would just make things complicated.

Mekura smiled softly at her pokemon and set them on the ice. Spinning she skated backwards around them Easily. Her mother had taught her to skate when she was little. It was about the only thing Mekura could do with out her sight. Risa giggled and tried to skate like her trainer only to fall down. Mekura skated past her and helped her up. Mekura skated away from her pokemon and jumped spinning in the air before landing. Her face was seemed almost relaxed as she turned and skated back to her pokemon.
Kaiyou squealed as another pokemon bashed into her. Falling down she pouted then was helped up by Risa. "Tookitreee!" Togepi took off after the shiny eevee and ended up sliding into Mekura's path. ("Mekura! Watch out!") Risa basically screamed as it echoed through lots of people's minds. Mekura blinked her pale blue eyes and jumped up and over the Togepi then hit the ice hard as she came down. Getting up on her knees she rubbed her right side. "ouch." She winced as the pain ran through her side. Risa slid over to Kaiyou and pushed her to Mekura. Togepi had started crying already for getting Mekura hurt. Sitting on the ice Mekura picked up her Togepi and cuddled her. "Don't worry. Its not too bad." Soothing her Togepi she didn't fail to hear the ice under her start to creak and break. Gasping she realized she must have ended up on some thin ice.
Shoving her Pokemon away they squeaked in protest until the Ice cracked straight under Mekura. Togepi started to run to Mekura but slipped and fell just as Mekura went through the ice with a yelp. Risa panicked and raced to the edge trying not to fall in also. ("Help!! Someone Help!!") Risa watched as Mekura popped her head out of the water and tried to grab onto solid ice only it crumbled under her fingers and sent her under again. Togepi had started crying again as since she wasn't sure how to help her trainer.

Kei sighed as his pokemons were playing on the ice and he saw Shuri playfully escaping from the Togepi, slipping from time to time. 'Well, it's their day off, so I guess it's all right...' He idly looked around the lake, looking at the other passengers uninterested as they were either skating through the ice or talking with others happily. Kei growled and looked away, rubbing his right eye slightly. It still hurt from time to time but ever since no light reached it anymore, his left eye was more likely to have the painful attacks. Time to time he saw other pokemons on the ice as well some seemed to actually train with their owners. Kei would never have the idea to do a training in such a surface... Then again it would not hurt.
Even if his ears wouldn't be that sensitive they would have picked up the telepathic scream of a pokemon, at which Kei shoot his attention back in front of him, to where his pokemons were supposed to be having fun. The person who's Togepi Shuri wanted to play slipped on the ice, falling painfully on her side, almost hitting the little pokemon she owned. Seeing the girl move he sighed. 'That exactly is why I don't go on the ice.' Falling once or twice wasn't much of an issue, so he didn't really care much about the girl and looked away again.
He didn't pay much attention to the light sound of ice cracking that his sensitive ears picked up easily either, but after hearing that scream for help from the same voice, he looked back at the scene to have his heart leap to his throat. 'That idiot!' He run along the side of the lake to see where he can go in more easily and he horridly saw that most of the people around were only watching without doing anything. With an annoyed growl he jumped on the ice. "Shuri, Shade, back off from there!" He shouted as he already saw the Houndour wanting to go closer to help the girl and he really didn't need them to fall in the water as well. He reached under his coat, picking up another pokeball and releasing his most trusted companion who had the advantage of being able to fly, his Salamance. "Go Shin, help her out of the water!" The dragon leaped into action without a word and stopped in the air above the girl who tried to get out of the freezing water without any success. Shin lowered his head and grabbed the girl's coat on her shoulder with his powerful fangs. The strong pokemon easily leveled her out of danger and placed her on a more safe area near the side or the lake and Kei. Shin himself landed on the ground, waiting patiently for his trainer to send him back to his pokeball if he wasn't needed anymore.
Kei walked to the girl as much as he could on the slippery surface and knelled down in front of her, taking his own coat off. "Are you an idiot? What were you doing skating to the thin ice? Seriously, watch were you are going!" His voice was piercing and strong, scolding the girl as he didn't know she was actually blind. He moved to place his coat on her shoulder and waited for her to speak.

Mekura panicked and ended up trying to breath in the water. Her head came up as she coughed and reached for the edge of the ice. It crumpled under her chilled fingers only to send her under again. Her sensitivity to things around her was no help. Up was down and down was up in the freaking water. Her soaked clothes were only dragging her down and the skates weren't any help. Would no one help her. Her head broke the surface again and she gulped down a breath of air before she tried to grab the surface. What would happen to her Risa and Kaiyou if she died in the freezing waters? She was soon lifted out of the water by a pokemon with wings. When he set her down she fell to her knees and started coughing up the water that had made its way into her lungs. Taking deep breaths of air she was soon bombarded by a guy chastising her. Blinking she looked in the direction of his voice with her pale blue eyes.
Risa ran to her Trainer and hugged her close. ("I wont ever leave you again!!") Risa held Mekura's shivering body close. Kaiyou slipped and slided as she made her way to her Trainer. Togepi cried and clung to Mekura. Mekura shook her wet head and blinked as she felt a coat being put over her shoulders. Others were already getting off the ice not sure if it was safe or not anymore. Looking back at the boy's direction she let out a breath. "Thanks. Though I didn't see it. I was trying to avoid Kaiyou." It was quiet and slightly stuttered in her cold. Slowly she got to her feet with her pokemon. Surprisingly she managed to stay up even with the skates on. She wanted to get to Hana so she could get her to come out and warm her up. It was freezing being in cold clothes. ("Risa will never leave Mekura again.") Risa kept repeating it cause she had been so afraid she would loose her only family. She hadn't wanted to be left alone. Mekura was literally all Risa had known.
Mekura coughed again and felt the shivers running through her body. She slid forward slightly on wobbly legs before she realized she couldn't tell where the bank was. She was so cold and being in the water had messed with her sense of direction. Risa would be of no help she was took freaked at the moment. Mekura was not going to reveal her blindness after being able to hide it so well all these years. "Risa s-sweety its ok." Risa shook her head and silently began crying. Sighing Mekura listened to the sound of skates then heard the soft sound of sand to her right. Moving seriously slow she headed toward the bank and toward her pack. Hitting the sand she kicked her skates off hurriedly and got up still holding her freaked pokemon.
Setting Risa and Kaiyou down she fell on her butt tired and cold. Risa ran to the pack with Kaiyou and both dragged it over to Mekura. Risa pulled out Hana's poke-ball and let the pokemon out. Hana looked around ready to get after the psychic pokemon before she noticed Mekura. Curling around Mekura she let off a slight heat to help Mekura dry off a bit and warm up. Kaiyou shivered and crawled back into Mekura's arms to cuddle with her.

Kei sighed in annoyance as the girl talked. 'Didn't see it? That's not something a person skating should just forget.' He looked at the girl uninterested though so he wouldn't ask anything about it either. He found it strange and unnerving though that she wouldn't look him in the eyes and were just blankly staring at his form without actually catching his being. From up close Kei got a strange suspicion as well but he wouldn't ask right away in any situation. As he was kneeling there, Shuri and Shade slowly walked and slid to him, the small shiny pokemon crawled up and settled on his shoulder while the black dog leaned to his side for support on the slippery surface. Kei embraced the pokemon with one hand and pated his side lightly.
He was quietly observing the girl to ensure his suspicion later. As she stood up and unsteadily pushed herself forward not exactly to the way of the bank Kei was only staying in his place while he slowly stood as well and walked off of the ice. He looked back at the girl who also made her way to where her pack was. Kei turned to Shin and gently petted his head before calling the dragon back to his pokeball. "Good work, Shin."
Shade was at Kei's side carefully watching either his trainer or the other girl. Shuri though was already walking to the other, curious of her well being and her pokemons as well. Sniffing the air around them he wagged his tail cheerfully while looking carefully at the pokemons. Kei sighed again and walked over to the girl, not saying anything just folding his ams due to the cold in front of his chest. He noticed that the girl's Ninetales was a rather rare one, just like his own Shuri, they were even of a similar silvery color. The Eevee was sniffing the girl's wet clothes carefully staying away of the fox-pokemon but appearing not harmful to the least. He looked up at he girl with concern in his black eyes, whining ever so slightly, almost as if asking "Are you all right?"
Kei, though, wasn't interested in saying anything.

Mekura held her Togepi close as her body started to warm up. Kaiyou rubbed her face against Mekura keeping an eye on her. Mekura looked tired and ready for a nap but they hadn't found a place to camp yet. Mekura felt her pokemon's worry and smiled slightly. "Don't Worry Kaiyou. I just need to warm up." Wrapping the scarf tighter around her Togepi she felt Risa climb up on Hana's back to get warm herself. Risa looked up as the guy followed after them. Tilting her head she realized Mekura still had his jacket. Tilting her head she watched the boy wondering when he would ask for it back.
Hana looked at the eevee and Houndour with a mild curiosity and nothing more. Watching the boy she blew a little fire near him and let it swirl around him to warm him up but not burn him. She was grateful he had saved Mekura. Risa watched the Eevee and smiled slightly. Mekura looked over to the Eevee and smiled slightly. Reaching out she petted his head gently. "Don't worry. I'm fine. Just cold now." Her stutter had vanished as she warmed up. Setting Kaiyou next to her, Mekura pulled her bag into her lap and pulled out a pair of dry socks and another coat. Setting everything next to her she pulled off the wet socks and her coat setting them in the sand. Pulling on the nice dry socks and her dry coat she sighed. Blinking she looked over at the guy and stood up and held out his coat. "Thank you for lending me your coat."
Hana stood up with Mekura then walked over to her shoes and brought them over. Once the guy took his coat she slipped her shoes on and wiggled her cold toes. Grabbing the skates she had kicked off she slipped the covers over them and neatly packed them in her bag. The boy had barely said anything beyond chastising her so she figured he probably wouldn't say anything. Sitting back down she rested her head on her knees as she closed her eyes. Hana laid back down and laid her head on her paws. A couple of her tails wrapped around Mekura adding a bit of extra warmth. Risa having gotten slightly over her shock spoke with Rikka to tell her what the boy looked like and talked about his pokemon too.

Kei wasn't interested in conversations so he was rather quiet among people instead of wanting to break the silence and have some chat. That didn't change in that situation either as he was just standing at the side, watching the pokemons and the girl. Shade leaned to Kei's leg and looked up at him, feeling a bit cold himself as he wasn't playing anymore to keep himself warm. The boy patted his neck and the Houndour looked content enough as to not return to the ball, so Kei let it stay out. What more, it seemed that they actually didn't need to be cold anymore, as the Ninetales huffed a small fire next to them so they would stay warm. Shade at first shuddered and looked threateningly at the fire, but as he realized what it was for, he quickly calmed down from his surprise. Kei nodded to the Ninetales as a form of thanks to show that he appreciates the offer even though he didn't say anything.
Shuri sniffed at the girl as she petted him slightly and leaned into her hand, cuddling up as he did to almost everyone, looking her over curiously. Kei watched the girl, though for different reasons than his pokemon. He watched her movements and expressions to make a steady set for his suspicion. The girl seemed like every other out there with natural features and attitude, though what still annoyed Kei was the fact she never directly looked at anything in front of her, or made eye-contact with him for that matter.
As he got his coat back he immediately put it on himself and mentioned to his pokemons to go. The reason he didn't ask for his coat back was the fact that he wasn't interested in hearing anything from others, as strange as it sounded. He figured the girl would just give it back when she didn't need it so asking for it wouldn't mean anything and Kei actually wasn't too bad with colds. He didn't say anything to the girl as he turned away, only called out to his pokemons to get going. Shade of course was right in his heels strictly at his right side to help Kei in case his half-blind sight would hinder him in some way. Shuri on the other hand was a bit more hard-headed and curiously leaned toward the Togepi to sniff the little pokemon carefully not to startle her. "Shuri, come on, we are going." The Eevee just perked his ears showing that he heard the trainer's voice but he was more interested in getting friends. Kei just sighed at that, more in acceptance than annoyance. He allowed free will to his pokemons so if Shuri wanted to check out the Togepi, he let him do it as he knew how curious the little canine was..

Mekura herself didn't care for conversations with a stranger. In fact she wished he would leave already. Is gaze was unnerving since she couldn't see his gaze or expression. Risa kept her updated now though on the expressions of the pokemon. Risa giggled at the houndour's reaction to Hana's flame. Though was quickly surprised it was for warmth not as a threat. Hana nodded back and closed her eyes to listen to her surrounding. Though the reaction of the Houndour had amused her some. Hana didn't care for attacking someone who had helped her trainer.
Mekura smiled and rubbed his ears gently. "Very cuddly aren't you little one." Risa had already told her that the pokemon was a shiny eevee. She had heard that they were a silver color. Risa watched the boy and tilted her head wondering why he looked so annoyed. So she decided to ask him. ("Why do you seem so annoyed?") Glancing at the houndour she waved slightly. ("Hello. I'm Risa.") As he got his coat back she watched him try to leave but it seemed Shuri, the shiny eevee, didn't want to leave. Instead he was sniffing Kaiyou. Kaiyou squeaked and rubbed his nose gently. Of course Togepi was the youngest of them all.
"Tookitree~!" Togepi patted the Eevee then snuggled against him liking the attention. "Tooki!" She rubbed against the Eevee and seemed to giggle in her own way. Togepi seeming to have forgotten the fright she had seemed to tag Eevee and took off toward the ice. Upon hitting it she fell and slid a ways on it with a slight spin. Mekura smiled as Risa told her what had happened. Her sightless eyes looking in the direction her Togepi. Sighing she kind of wished he would just take his pokemon and leave the stare was getting to her. Scratching the back of her head she got up and walked in the direction of some kids giving away some hot chocolate. Getting five cups cups she carefully walked back and only spilled a little. Setting them in the sand she handed one to the boy then set four out for the pokemon. Sipping her own she sat down and leaned back against Hana as she closed her eyes. It was pointless to keep them open but it unnerved people more when she kept them shut.
