Yesterday was a pretty good day for Faye. She had one more day left of the weekend, and not even a full one at that--she'd have to do the weekend's homework tonight...

She pushed that aside, though, because now was time to relax a bit more. She'd enjoyed the zoo when she was younger, and figured it would be nice to visit. While the Pokemon were roaming free, she thought that only fitting--when she was a child, they were there just to be seen; now she was grown, the area was challenging and a bit dangerous.

Maybe not all THAT dangerous, but Faye did hope for something rather...thrilling.

Not far off, an Igglybuff and a Cleffa were playing in a small cage that was left open and probably contained something vicious at one time or another. They seemed completely oblivious to a human in the area and were too busy messing with some flower creation that was between the two of them.

After hearing the pair, Faye decided she wanted the pair of them for herself. She walked up to the entrance of the cage, and called out to the adorable pink creatures, "Having fun~?"

Both the Igglybuff and the Cleffa turned their heads towards the voice and all but mimicked each other as they looked to one side at the human. "Cleff-buff?" came as a mixture between them when the Cleffa spoke, yet the Igglybuff finished.

Now that she knew she wouldn't startle the pair, Faye walked into the cage a bit, but made sure the door was open behind her. She did NOT want to get stuck in here. =3=

...She also didn't take more than two steps in, as it was still possible--though highly unlikely, from what she could see--that there was a more dangerous Pokemon, lurking. She wanted to be able to run quickly if needed.

Instead, she squatted down and tried to make the little Pokemon come to her. "Would you guys minding playing with me, too?" The eagerness and childishness in her voice was genuine; these were cute Pokemon, and she'd come here for a break as much as for more battlers...

Both the Igglybuff and the Cleffa seemed to blink for a long moment. Wait.. did...she...want...to play too? SURE! both suddenly seemed to quickly move over towards the girl with a smile on their faces. Sure! Games were always fun! Always! What did she want to play? Who was she? Why was she around? Did it even matter? Who cared! Fun fun fun!

Faye giggled a bit childishly as the two came over to her quickly. Awesome<3~

...She had no idea WHAT to do with them, though. Rather than think of something specific she'd have to try to explain, though, she reached out and poked the Cleffa in the stomach, then did the same to the Igglybuff, and giggled.

The Igglybuff blinked for a long moment as she was poked and then poked the woman back as though it were some sort of poking war that was beginning. The Cleffa simply burst into a fit of giggles and seemed completely tickled by the poke. The Igglypuff began to start poking Faye more and more and then simply satrted to tickle her.

Giggling nigh uncontrollably, Faye tickled the little pink Pokemon as well. This lasted for some minutes, until the woman was out of breath and asked, "Stop, oh please stop...I can't take much more for the moment..."

Faye looked at her watch, and realized she'd been in that cage 'wasting time' for longer than she'd figured. "Err...I'd better go now. Have fun you two~" Faye got up to leave, but intentionally took her time in doing so, hoping for a protest from the two little ones.

Indeed both protested right then and there. The Igglybuff's face fell and she started whimpering just a bit while the Cleffa did the same and tried to take hold of Faye's leg. Both looked at her and seemed extremely distraught that their new friend was leaving.

Faye had been hoping the little puffballs would want to come with her because they were cute to look at, but this really was heartwarming.

Her needing to go wasn't really a lie, though. She hoped to get a few more Pokemon here--battlers, that is--but she did need to be quick about it. She had a paper to write...

The Igglybuff and Cleffa both frowned and then seemed to cling tight to Faye. Seriously. They didn't want her to go. Erm... well... if she did go... they wanted to come too!

...Faye couldn't leave them behind. With them tugging at her pants like that... "I...really do have to go... But--would you--like to come with me?" As the little Pokemon vehemently nodded yes, Faye couldn't help but smile. Dawwww<3

Faye took out two Pokeballs and laid them down on the ground, one before each little pink fairy.

Both the Igglybuff and the Cleffa poked the pokeballs without any sort of after thought and simply disappeared into the balls. The pokeballs themselves didn't move once but instantly rung out in capture.

Personality: Playful and happy, this young pokemon loves meeting people and playing games. She doesn't get upset easily and seems to be able to hold her own quite well. However, if you make her upset, know this: she'll keep attacking until something is out cold.

Personality: Quiet and gentle, this Cleffa tends to be a tad intimidated upon meeting new people but is generally ok as long as her Igglybuff friend is around. She likes to play games and loves being held. She never gets mad. It is impossible to strike an irritated nerve in this pokemon.

Faye bit her lip at their cuteness, and their naivety--that is, that they were quite willing to go with the first human that came along. She really would treat these two well, she thought, but there were some who were battle-crazed...

She didn't find any irony in thinking this.

She shrugged, smiled, and placed the two Pokeballs in her sizeable purse. She looked about the cage and saw nothing else in there, so exited and continued walking about the zoo.

The sky seemed to be darkening if ever so slightly. The wind was beginning to pick up. A rolling sound of thunder could be heard very far in the distance. Only a hundred meters away, there appeared to be an indoor exhibit with the door still ajar. However, about just as far away but in the opposite direction, more cages could be seen, and a rattling noise could be heard. Was it just the wind or something more? Which way would Faye choose to go?

Faye was about to head for the slightly open door, until she'd heard the sounds behind her. ...Hm. Which...

...Whatever was inside the exhibit was unlikely to move, and if it did--well, something else would probably take its place (including possibly her, depending on how quickly the impending storm came). However, the cages would be deserted when it started raining...and anyway, the metal had to be pretty solid, right? It...naw, it wasn't just the breeze; to do that to metal, the wind would have to be pretty strong, and it really didn't feel like much more than maybe a tad gusty.

Faye nodded to herself decisively, and walked towards where she thought the noise came from.

In one of the larger cages, a Grumpig was fighting to get out. She was angry at herself for accidentally locking herself in and was trying viciously to get back out again. Not even thinking about unleashing her psychic power, the Grumpig simply rammed over and over again into the metal.

Ooh. Lavender was a shade of pink, in a way. ...Also, a Pokemon stuck in a cage like that was just depressing. Faye tried to calm the Grumpig by talking to it, as she looked at the cage. It seemed to want out, and...well, she couldn't be certain whether that was a wild Pokemon caught in there, or if it was a holdover from the zoo's operation days. She also had no way of knowing that if--more like when honestly--that it wouldn't try to attack her.

Hm. She could kill two birds with one stone, here. She released Madonna, her Jynx. It should protect her in case that was necessary, as well as... "Freeze the lock on that, will you? Then help me break the door." The Jynx did as ordered, using an Ice Breath on the lock; she and her trainer, then, rammed into the cage, hoping to break the embrittled metal.

The cage shattered, and the Grumpig was left staring in disbelief. In half a second, she was all but crying for joy and moved to hug the Jynx as a think you. "Grummmmmmm<3!" she cried happily.
