Madonna nodded, patting the freed Grumpig's head, the other arm hugging it in return. "Jynnn~" the ice-type responded, but waved an arm at her trainer as well. Faye, in turn, said, "You're absolutely welcome~" in a similarly bright voice. "So. Any chance you'd like to join me? As you can see, I'm a Pokemon trainer; we travel, do cool shit, fight other Pokemon when necessary and in general have an awesome time. You in?"

[Jay]

The Grumpig seemed to put a hand to her chin for a moment and thought about the proposition. Ah heck why not~ She'd been saved by this human after all! The woman couldn't be that bad So sure~! Nodding rather vigorously, the Grumpig released a bit of psychic power. "I'd love to! Thanks so much again!" she called hoping not to be too intrusive with her own power.

Oh. Well that was interesting. ...Probably really useful, too, Faye realized after getting over the surprise of hearing a voice in her head.

She smiled at the Pokemon, and retrieved a Pokeball, and handed it to the Grumpig. May's well let her do the honors herself, eh? It was such an easy way to show respect to the Pokemon, so they'd respect the Trainer back, and...well, trainers who were friends with their Pokemon were often the strongest.

[Jay]

The Grumpig seemed to grin and then poked the ball instantly disappearing inside. The ball didn't shake once but finished right then and there.

Ability: Gluttony
Personality: Lighthearted overall, this Grumpig tends to take things as they come. However, she does get stressed out very easily and doesn't seem to be able to think things through when she is stress out and or panicking. She loves and respects her trainer from saving her from the terrible horrible cage and wishes her nothing but the best.


Suddenly the sound of something running fast could be seen. A Lickitung was being chased by a Vigoroth for some reason. The latter of the two looked extremely angry and ready to pulverize the prior.... oh dear....

Faye watched as the ball disappeared, going...wherever it was that Pokemon were stored. However, she turned around as she heard the commotion.

Oooh. More pinnnk.

"Icy Wind that Vigoroth!" Faye called, hoping to slow the agressor before wither Pokemon got too far away.

[Jay]

The Icy Wind chilled the Vigoroth but also froze the ground and caused him to slip and fall flat on his face. The Lickitung continued running and ended up stopping only to cower behind a pole that did not hide him well enough. The Vigoroth growled and then forced himself up before looking strait at the pokemon that had made a fool out of him. Turning his rage on that instead, the Vigoroth charged.

Hm. Hard to say what attack the Vigoroth was about to use... but it would almost certainly be physical. "Mad, Counter it." The Jynx nodded, and braced herself for the attack.

[Jay]

The Vigoroth moved to use Slash wasn't expecting the Counter that was coming to him in that moment. The Lickitung seemed to continue hiding and said nothing.

Mm, good. The Vigoroth was nice and surprised~ Even if Madonna herself was hurt...oh well.

Hm...time to use an actually type-effective move here...What could take advantage of a Jynx's high Special Attack? ..."Focus Blast if you please~" That should do it. And, if she was lucky, it might even lower the sloth's Special Defense, right? Yeah. It was, unfortunately, tiring... and it couldn't be used very often at all. But Faye wanted to down the Vigoroth in front of the Lickitung, before the latter ran away.

[Jay]

The Vigoroth was hit dead on by the Focus Blast and fell backwards on the ground twitching for a moment. He was suddenly in a great deal of pain and flailed a few times on the ground before managing to get up again. Dang.... he couldn't take another attack like that at such close range... ow.... Backing up, the Vigoroth made sure to stay a good ways away from the Jynx. Forming a Water Pulse, the Vigoroth shot it towards the Jynx.

Ooh, good! So the Vigoroth would probably use Special attacks from now on. Considering Madonna's Special Defense was much better than her physical one... this was goood.

She'd have loved to order the same move all over again, but she knew that Madonna just wouldn't be able to, not that soon. So... "Ice beam then~" she said, in a very happy tone. The Jynx smiled--this was an attack she could put some flair into~

She started with a ball of ice-blue energy in front of her, growing it larger by moving her hands outward. She used a smidge of Powder Snow and her psychic powers to make it snow very lightly above her--just enough to last during her attack, nothing more--and finally shot a beam of energy at the sloth. A few bits of the snow were caught by it too, and were pulled along. They glinted in the sunlight, making quite a spectacle.

[Jay]

The Ice Beam struck the Water Pulse and seemed to blast it straight back as the water turned to Ice and charged back towards the Vigoroth. In another moment, the Vigoroth was frozen solid right then and there. Aw sucks for him. The Lickitung stared for a good few seconds before starting to come out from behind the pole.

...Well, that worked. There was no real reason to faint the Vigoroth, anyway; what Faye wanted was that Likitung.

"Come on out, little guy," she said, despite the fact that Likitung was in no way 'little.' "I promise I won't attack you~"

[Jay]

The Lickitung rubbed the back of his head and slowly came forwards focusing on the eyes of the human as though making sure that it was alright to step forwards. With each step, he got a bit closer and would stop for a moment before making another one. Soon, he was within arm distance.

Faye stuck offered her hand in greeting as she said, "Hey there! You seem to be in a bit of a bind~ any chance you'd like to come with me? I mean if not, that's fine too, but we'd love to have you~"

Faye didn't like to beat around the bush.

[Jay]

The Lickitung sweat dropped for a good few seconds, but finally a thought hit him. She had just saved him... So he guessed he did owe her kinda. She seemed like a nice enough human. There were certainly far more scary ones, and she seemed downright friendly. Smiling, he made a nod of 'alright' before eying the frozen Vigoroth and becoming slightly intimidated again.

Faye was digging in her purse for a Pokeball, when she noticed the Lickitung's apprehension, especially towards the Vigoroth. She decided to ignore it, though; the Pokemon said he--or she, Faye wasn't entirely certain--would come with her, and so wouldn't waste a Pokeball by breaking it.

Pretending she had noticed no such nervousness, Faye tossed the Pokeball out and onto the Lickitung.

The Lickitung disappeared into the ball, and the ball itself simply hit the ground and didn't move after that until finally ringing capture.

Ability: Oblivious
Personality: Easily intimidated and prone to running away, this Lickitung is rather goodhearted under it all. He tries to act brave but often falls short of what he wants and will go running behind his trainer as fast as he can when scared. He can sometimes be a bit clingy especially when scared, but he is loyal and loving in the end of it all.


Suddenly the sound of ice cracking could be heard. It appeared that the Vigoroth was starting to break free.

[[oh gog I have no idea what Pokemon I might have/have figured I had with me in this aside from Jynx so I'll just close this after dealing with Vigoroth and wait I was trying to get a Spinda oh well I can do that again later]]

"Psychic," Faye said lazily, hoping Madonna would understand she meant the Vigoroth. Would have been nice to not waste power on fainting something she didn't need to, but it was breaking out, so eh. Why not.

There really was no other reason to order a move, or to just state a Pokemon type or the like, so the Jynx took it as intended, and used her mind to screw with the Vigoroth's head.

The Psychic attack caused the Vigoroth to cringe and cry out in pain. Dx Ouch....Ffff Putting both arms to his head, he cringed a little shivering and shaking violently before throwing one arm out using a sort of weird version of a Slash in the process.
