All of my regret will wash away somehow ( but I cannot forget the way I feel right now )
The evening had drawn in fast, the sky was already changing hues and the chill followed. The young male found himself letting out a shiver from his spot, yanking his jacket tighter around his thin frame. He meant to have returned earlier, but he had no reason to rush home. It was a beautiful day and there was no one at home. It was safely locked up, clearly closed; not that he was expecting guests. The people who stayed with him were those he sought out and helped the offer to. People never found him, his name was not none by any except those who stayed within those walls—and perhaps one are two people who still lived in this area. It wasn’t a heavily populated area, maybe that is why his father was so fond of it. Kei knew it was what helped him feel at ease.
His eyes watched the waves that lapped at the broad walk in which his legs dangled over, his thoughts were running free. He knew the lake that was in his area was froze, such a tempting idea in this cold weather. He wanted so much to be able to step on that solid ice, to slid an bit without skates and just his shoes, to be able to walk to another island. It was amazing thought. However Kei could not. In fact, this was the first time he had gotten out in a while. It felt wonderful. Though it was bitterly cold, it was so very soothing. There was no way he was walking over the ocean however-
This thoughts stilled and his head turned toward the lighthouse. For a moment, Kei swore he saw something from the corner of his eye.. it was not the first time. Many times he had thought he saw something from that tower. His father always told him he was imagining things, and not to go there. Of course he didn’t listen. He and Kohaku had snuck out once, then slipped away to that place, but found nothing. He returned a second and third time. It was on the third time that he got startled by a wild pokemon. That said wild became his precious Mochi. The thought made him smile, gripping the strap of his shoulder back, where the pokeballs rested that they rested in. A low sigh fell from his lips, thinking. Was it time for a fourth trip there? Or should he go home. It was empty, he knew that.. but all the stories of when he was a child, it drew him there. That, and he was just a curious little thing…~

Not far from Kei, something seemed to be hopping in his general direction. A Farfetch'd seemed to hop and then stop to look for something and then hop again. Hm... what was it looking for if anything at all?

Perhaps a peek wouldn't be that bad.. after all, it wasn't too dark yet, ad it wasn't like he could really get in trouble for going there- besides he wasn't a child anymore! He was an adult at this point really.. His thoughts fell for a moment, eyes staring at the ocean in almost a trace, lost in the motion of the pounded waves. He had only swam in the ocean once, as a child, it was fun--but scary. He was such a small child, he had trouble with the waves. His father had taken him deeper in though, showing him that it wasn't that bad and he wound up really enjoying it.. he did enjoy swimming. Many times he and the old group use to go far, to the lake and such, and dive in, just seeing all they could see with those odd goggle things...
A noise was heard and the young man nearly jumped out of skin, He quickly looked towards the culprit, then relaxed. Oh, it was just a farfetch'd, though he was being rather strange.. it was almost cute, it's actions. With a gently hum, Kei gripped the strap of his back and shuffled to his feet. It only took him a few moments to step towards the pokemon, a weak smile growing on his face as he squatted down near it. "Hello there~" He spoke gently, he didn't want to scare the poor thing! He was indeed curious as to what it was doing though..
His eyes glanced to the lighthouse, but more so the island that is rested on. He had probably came from there, but why did he hop all the way over here? For a moment Kei thought of ruffling through his bag to see if he had a treat or such, but he held this back. Instead he just kept up his smile, speaking again in the same light tone, in hopes of finding what was going on. "Are you looking for something, little guy? His hand stayed on his bag, looking away from the creature for a moment, glancing around them. Other then this little guy, it was really very quiet...

The Farfetch'd seemed to jump as well and turned his head until he caught sight of the human. Ah... just a human. He'd seen a few of them before and wasn't terribly afraid of them. After a moment, he realized the man had asked a question, and the bird found himself nodding back. Yes... he was looking for something. "Farfetch'd far far far," he answered back trying to explain that he had lost the leek that normal birds of that nature carry. However, it was somewhat had to express this due to the translation barriers.

It seemed he had startled the other was well, and for a moment he felt a small pang of guilt. However this didn't last and he just smiled, blinking at the response. He had not fled, so he was doing good so far. If he could know the others feelings, Kei would have agreed however. It was indeed hard to understand what the other was trying to tell him. Kei was use to these issues though, after all he had cared for so many different types of pokemon, he couldn't really deny he grew use to they speak. How sad, that sometimes he was more startled by another person talking to him then one of these creatures.
It was obvious the other was looking for something, and Kei of course didn't have the heart to leave now. Besides, even with the language barrier, he could still find a way. There was a moment where he thought of his sketchbook, he had done such with his old mute housemate, but he wasn't very sure. It may just confuse the poor thing.. so instead he just hummed, looking about the board walk. Yes or no would work the best right? A bit was trying and he would figure it out..
Did you loose it here? Or.. there..? His eyes darted to the island, paling a bit. He wasn't feeling over confident about going over there now.. but no, he couldn't leave this poor guy to himself. Besides, with two it had a high chance of being found. What ever 'it' was. Taking a breath, he slowly stood and looked around, his fingers still gripping at the strap of his bag. If it got too dark, he may bring Mochi out.. he didn't want to travel back home alone. His attention went back to the farfetch'd. mh.. how big was it? That should help!~

The Farfetch'd nodded at the first question that had been posed to him. As the second question came, the bird seemed to think to himself and then made a wide motion with his wings trying to get the size right. Yes... about that big.... "Fetched..." the Farfetch'd sighed before looking around again. He then started to hop a bit more and began looking around rather worriedly. Not far off, a leek was laying in the grass hidden from the Farfetch'd's view but probably not from the human's.

Ah, so they were getting somewhere! At least this fact was good. The few motions where the Farfetch'd nodded and offered up the shape of the object, it helped Kei to get a feel of what was going on. The object seemed rather large really, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.. the boy gave a weak smile to the creature and stood still a moment, merely gazing around. It wasn't the best idea to be losing things around here, but at least it was here and less towards the City.
Even with the few travelers, it was bad to lose something, cause one never knew when someone would take something, no matter what it was. This thought made him frown, hoping this was not true. After all, this poor guy seemed to really miss whatever it was that he was looking for. He had to admit though, it was nice being able to help, and finding the other wasn't afraid of him. Kei would not have known what to do if he had scared the poor thing, and made it run off. Feeling so very guilty was of course an obvious part.
Kei's eyes drifted over and certain area, and his attention was grabbed. Though it was a little grassy spot, among the green blades was a off-set green. Curious, he stepped over to the area, his eyes scanning the off green top, the long stem sort of other end. It looked.. like a giant leek.. oh! Kei offered himself a weak, almost embarrassed smile as he picked up the object. He had seen farfetch'd with these before.. perhaps this was it. The male turned back, approaching the creature once more and leaned down to him a bit. His hands held out the object, the smile still there (when wasn't it?) and gently spoke up. "Is..this is?"

The eyes of the Farfetch'd grew large as he caught sight of the leek. Yes! That was it! Grinning as much as a bird could, the Farfetch'd movede towards the man and made to hug the man happily.

Kei's got his answer if he had found the right item or not from the lovely pokemon's reaction. The way those eyes opened wide and he could already see the joy if not relief on the other's expression. So this had been what he was looking for, Kei was happy for this. At least they had found it easily.
The young male's arms very lightly hugged the duck like creature back, wary of not hurting him. What a sweet actions, it made the boy grin and pull away only after a bit, looking at the other curiously. Such a kind pokemon, and this is the area where he got his sweet Mochi.. His eyes drifted to the lighthouse, curious. Perhaps it wasn't as scary as he thought, not with such sweet creatures like this one and his own.
"Well! Be careful not to lose it again! It's important, mhn?Such a gently tone, as if speaking with a young child. It was a habit of his, to speak in this way to pokemon, since he did his best to always be kind to them. He found himself speaking this tone more then anything however, since he often found himself lacking in people around him. Travelers weren't very common.

The Farfetch'd smiled even more and seemed to nod at the man's words. Yes, he'd be careful not to loose it again! The leek was important! Right? Right? Yes yes it was! Very important! The bird pokemon took it back carefully and seemed to hug it for a minute before thanking the man with quick 'far' and 'fetch'd' words of gratitude.

The happy response just earned a laugh from the child, leaning back on his heels a moment before fully standing. There was a silence to him for a moment, eyes gazing around the area, at the darkening sky before looking down at the other again.
"It is quite late lil' guy! I bet your friends are getting worried! He was sure they were, and it was best the little one get home soon. That way he could be greeted back by with friendly ways no doubt. The thought made Kei ease, wishing he could return to the same. No doubt his home would be empty when he returned though, but it was fine. because he knew once he set Mochi and Celty out, they would greet him happily enough, and tomorrow he could merely look for some travelers! He could have to shop though.. it's been a while since he cooked, but he always liked to have stocked fridge so he could make meals for guests.
Looking back to the pokemon, he gave a soft pat of the smaller ones head, eyeing the lighthouse. He was still curious to heading over there actually.. "heh.. I wonder if you know anything about that old tower there~" It was just a curious sentence, not even a question and uet in the same air, he held a curious mood to his words.

The Farfetch'd nodded at the words of his friends looking for him. ^^; Heh... well possibly, neh? He hadn't really thought about it when he panicked while trying to find his leek. However, as the other words came about the light house, the bird pokemon shivered slightly and shook his head at it.

So, it seemed this little one wasn't too fond of that island either. Sadly, it worked to only make the boy more the curious. What was that place? It.. was just so strange. He couldn't get over the fact that something about the tall building seemed to draw him. As a child, his father had always scolded him for his curious nature, telling him it was going to get him in trouble one day.
The boy gave a smile to the pokemon, simply giving a gentle pat on the head to him. "Terribly sorry for such unnerving words!" That was all he offered, hoping that it would help to make the other settle again. The shiver had gave him a slight worry -- to the point that he almost turned away. -- but no! He couldn't let himself be swayed so easily.
That was the man thing to do right, to stick to one's thoughts and push through with this? Or was he just being a moron? Either way, he was going to do it. Kei let a hand grip his bag a moment, silent before shaking his head and taking a step closer towards it. Well, I guess I won't know tell I go and see it there!

The Farfetch'd waved good bye and then seemed to move off again looking for where his friends could be. Not far away from Kei, a Shuppet seemed to hover rather curious as to what all the odd emotions were about. She honestly didn't mind the snack of emotions, but they were a little odd, that was for sure. Not far away from said Shuppet, a Gastly was watching the human as well and was already formulating some sort of plot to prank the human.

As the pokemon headed off, back to his home no doubt, the boy felt a bit more eased. These feelings stayed for a moment, but didn't last. His eyes had been glancing around at the area as he approached the large lighthouse, not at the ones who were watching him. A slow sigh fell from the male as his hand lowered from his bag and crossed over his chest, thinking. It was getting quite cold out, but he knew that was cause he was so close to the water. Shame, cause he loved being near the water, despite the nipping cold.
A soft hum escaped him now as he started to leave the bridge behind and stroll deeper into the area, it was horribly dark now. That was not the only thing though, the boy felt like he wans't alone. For a moment Kei almost grabbed his bag again, he wanted some company.. but no. He didn't want Mochi to get hurt running around.. and Celty deserved a rest. Frowning, he shook his head and instead look around a moment, thinking.. was someone really there..?

The Gastly looked off towards the lighthouse that the boy was drawing closer to and then back at the boy himself. Smirking slightly, the Gastly moved quickly towards the lighthouse and then seemed to disappear inside of it. The Shuppet didn't notice this action and was instead still focused on the human. She moved closer and closer to him from behind hovering there even in the dark.

It wasn't wrong to call the male naive. even though he thought he felt eyes on him, he never once turned around. he merely continued on his way, in his foolish bliss. It wasn't till the last step, when he stood at the lighthouse door that he finally gave in. He took a breath and pushed the door open before turning around. It was quite dark now, and after a few moments, the boy's eyes widened when he realized there were eyes.
The boy gave a gasp and a fast step back, foot hitting the door-frame. Losing his footing, his hands flew to grab the door-frame but slipped. A moment later he winched as he fell on the floor, thankfully not his back but managed to stay almost sitting up. It took Kei a moment before his hands fumbled for his bag, staring up at the 'eyes' he saw in the dark. "w-what ?" Those were the only words he could utter before trying to open his bag, and stand. It was rather..silly but the boy was always spooked easy. Somehow he felt Celty would protect him. If he could find her ball.

The Gastly smirked happily and then made to lick the boy rather habitually. In another moment, the Shuppet that had been watching the boy jumped in front of him and took the lick before blinking and shaking her head defiantly more or less yelling at the Gastly for his tricks.
