Stopping Point (MOD/Open)

[Ellie]

"Charizard, land by the Oasis and we will have some lunch." Ellie said, looking down at the Charizard she was riding on. He circled the supply of water and soon landed on the sand. Ellie slid down off of him and she stretched a bit.

She took two pokeballs out and she said "Yuri! Poliwag come out!!" The two pokemon came out. Poliwag instantly jumped into the water, relaxing and Yuri started to move around, playing in the sand. Charizard laid down near the water and watched Ellie as she spread out a blanket and started to lay some food out.

They had been at her house, visiting and was supposed to leave that morning, but a sandstorm had stopped them. Now that it had calmed down, it had been close to lunch time and so she decided to stop by the oasis. She said "Come eat guys!!" Poliwag hopped out of the water and was instantly over at the cloth and so was Yuri. As Ellie got up to bring some food over to Charizard, the other two started to dig in.

She chuckled and she said "So full of energy aren't they?" She put his plate down and headed back towards the food. Even if the Charizard wasn't young, he wasn't old either. Ellie had had him for eight years and he was pretty young when she got him. He wasn't the type to play around though, he was more of the serious type.

[Jay]

Not far away on the other side of the water, a white haired child riding an Absol seemed to come to a stop at the water. As soon as she slid off the ominous creature, Ilya seemed to fall straight back in the sand rather than rush towards the water that had been her previous intention. It was simply too hot to even move as far as Ilya was concerned at that point. "Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy is it so hot?" Ily's voice seemed to rise and fall with the question as she complained flailing her arms a bit and worrying the Absol who was now watching her rather carefully.

"Abby!" Ilya's voice complained to the Absol who mentally sighed in the process. "Why is it so hot? Why did we come all the way down here?" Ilya would have continued with the questions if she had the stamina to ask them. Instead, she found herself out of breath, and with that, Ilya made a 'ugh' sound and began to flail in the sand again making a rather odd sand angel in the process.

Abigale sighed outwards looking at her trainer. They had been traveling because Ilya had wanted to see more of the world, and now she was complaining....lovely. The Absol didn't say much but simply waited for her trainer to get up and actually enjoy the water that had been found. In truth, Abby was tired and strained from being ridden like some sort of Ponyta through the desert, yet she was not about to complain to her mistress. Suddenly sensing motion across the water, the Absol turned her head and stared seeing a few pokemon and what appeared to be another human not far off.

"Abby did you hear me?" Ilya questioned causing the Absol to look back rather confused and wondering if she had missed some sort of question during her few seconds of staring away from her trainer. Ilya had forced herself into a sitting position in that short amount of time and was looking rather carefully at the Absol. "I asked what you're staring at..." Ilya tried again. The Absol said nothing but replied with a general 'sol' as though it would mean everything and nothing at the same time. Ilya blinked rather confused by this before her own head turned, and the white haired child stared across the water. Seeing what appeared to be a human, Ilya instantly perked up and stood up fully flailing her arms and calling out in cheerful greeting.

[Ellie]

Ellie blinked, hearing something coming from across the water. She blinked, seeing that it was a girl and she smiled, waving back and calling out a greeting. She walked over to Charizard and she said "Alright, lets go visit." She got on his back and he got up and flew up into the air. He soon reached the other side and landed several feet away from the girl.

Ellie got down off of him and she walked towards the little girl. The Charizard stayed laying like that, watching them. Ellie smiled and she said "Hello there. What brings you all the way out here? Alone as well? The desert is a harsh environment even for grown adults, but I guess you came in a time when it isn't too hot out here. It's actually feeling really nice out here."

[Jay]

Ilya seemed to brighten up considerably as the other girl flew over on the Charizard. Abigale seemed to watch rather carefully but eventually relaxed when the conversation started. "I came down to see what was down here," Ilya smiled rather easily happy to see the girl had come across the water to talk. "And ya.... but it's still hot...." the white haired child answered back before looking down at her scarf and general jacket before sliding off her scarf and then holding it in one arm.

"Butbutbut... this place is so different... and... all this sand and..I was walking through other areas too, and there was so much to see and and...." Ilya would have gone on if Abby hadn't gently bumped her on the arm. "Oh I'm Ilya by the way," the young girl quickly stated before making a light curtsy. "What's your name?"

[Ellie]

Ellie stood there, listening to the girl was she chatted. It seemed she would go on and on, if not for the girl's Absol, who gently bumped her in the arm. She smiled in return, saying "My name is Ellie, it's nice to meet you Ilya. There's not a lot down this way, except for a lot of sand, this Oasis, the Gorge, The city, and the Firepits. Mostly just sand. Though I was born and raised around here. One thing I would love to see, is the snow. I've never seen the snow, only heard about it. I've just never made it to places where it has snowed yet."

She looked around, seeing some of the wind pick up the sand, and she quickly looked around to see if there was going to be another sandstorm, but it didn't look like it, for now. She said "I've got some food on the other side. Would you like to go over there and eat? Maybe also swim and cool down?"

[Jay]

"Heheh. Nice to meet you!" Ilya answered back lightheartedly. When Ellie started to explain that she lived down in the area, Ilya seemed to nod as though suddenly very very interested Anyone who lived down here had to know how hot it was, neh? How @_@ How could anyone stand the summer? Suddenly snapping back into reality, Ilya rubbed the back of her head and then began speaking again lightly. "My home is up north, and it snows so much there," Ilya laughed lightly back nodding her head as she went.

As the question of food and swimming came, Ilya seemed to grin from ear to ear. "Sure!" she answered back all but throwing her arms upwards in the process. Looking across the water and then back at Abby, the white haired girl took out a pokeball and returned the rather tired Absol before releasing a Daikenki who quickly moved for the water. "I'll catch a ride on Berserker and meet you across the water!" she stated nodding her head as though it were some sort of ingenious plan.

[Ellie]

Ellie nodded and she said "Sure, sounds good." She walked over to Charizard, climbing on his back. He was up and took off into the air, making a cloud of sand rise up with him. He flew off across the water, rather low, and he soon reached the other side. He landed and laid back down, and he just watched everything.

Ellie got off of his back and patted him and she walked over to the blanket. Upon seeing the other person arriving, Poliwag quickly went and hid behind the Charizard. She was really shy around new people, so she slowly peeked out from behind the dragon pokemon.

Ellie smiled, saying "It's not much, but it'll make for a good meal." She had sandwiches there, as well as stuff to make a salad. There was also bottles of water.

[Jay]

Ilya sat rather bridal style as she rode Breserker across the water. When the water pokemon finally stopped at the other shoreline, he watched as Ilya jumped off, and after that, he simply sank a bit more into the water enjoying it. Ilya's feet hit the sand rather softly, and as she looked at Ellie, she smiled and nodded. Stopping for a moment as though to think of something, she grasped hold of the thought that came next. "Oh thanks!" she said as though finally remembering the proper reply.

"This'll be yummy!" Ilya giggled lightly at this and then seemed to more or less try and sit down without messing up her coat and dress. It was then that she noticed the Poliwag. Blinking slowly at the small pokemon, Ilya seemed to smile afterward and waved her hand. "Hi Poli-uh..." she blinked realizing that she didn't know the proper name for the water pokemon. Looking over towards Ellie for help, Ilya rubbed the back of her head and laughed lightly.

[Ellie]

Ellie blinked and she said "Poliwag. You know, you'll probably be more comfortable if you take off the jacket. You must be burning up." She sat down and offered a bottle of water at the girl and fixed herself a sandwich and she started to eat.

Poliwag quickly hopped into the water when Ilya waved at her and she sighed as she floated around underneath the water. She accidently bumped into Daikenki and she spun around and she quickly swam off, hiding behind a rock.

Ellie smiled and she said "So, how old are you?"

[Jay]

Ilya brought a finger to her chin for a moment and then carefully took off the coat around her form and then folding it rather carefully on the sand. After another moment, she took the sandwich and water rather happily. Taking a bite, the white haired girl nearly squealed with delight at the taste of it. It was yummy!

After a moment, Ilya blinked and realized that she had been questioned. Swallowing before thinking a moment, Ilya suddenly grinned again. "Well I'm thirteen right now, but I'll be fourteen in February!" she asserted with a grin.

Breserker was surprised to be bumped into but not all together unsettled by it. As he watched the Poliwag swim off, he chucked a bit to himself. <Don't fear me... I don't harm the innocent> he commented rather easily in poke-speak.

[Ellie]

This girl seemed rather, how to put it, mannered. She also seemed like she had been well raised, not by a regular family either. She was probably a noble, but why would a noble be out there? By herself, especially with the rebels out and about. She wasn't a radical rebel, she just didn't support the nobles.

Ellie smiled and she said "Really? I remember when I was that age, though it wasn't too long ago, as I am 16. It was hard travelling by myself, since I was 12 when I left home, but as you can see, I made it out safely."

Poliwag slowly peeked over the top of the rock, as some bubbles floated up from her, and she just stared at Breserker. She slowly said in pokespeak <Do you have a name you go by?>

Yuri was floating around and she spotted the new girl's jacket laying on the sand. She smiled, her eyes starting to glow. The same glow surrounded the jacket and it flew up into the air, going in front of the girl's face and then up above her head. It then shot down to the water, where the blueish glow disappeared and it fell into the water.

[Jay]

<My name is Breserker as was given to me by my young miss, Ilya> Breserker answered back nodding his head a bit as though fitting this into his own mind as well. <I must say she chooses a few odd names, but I slightly envy Abigale for getting somewhat of a normal name.> He slightly shrugged as though honestly cool with it all, and indeed he was.

"That's awesome!" Ilya answered back with a grin on her features. However, as her jacket suddenly started floating, Ilya looked rather confused. As the jacket hit the water, she made a quick 'ep' sound and didn't even bother to figure out what had thrown her jacket before running after the jacket itself. In the few seconds after that, Ilya slipped on the sand as she moved towards the jacket and ended up falling directly into the water causing quite a splash.

Breserker tensed and looked off towards Ilya's location and then quickly moved towards the girl and managed to somehow set her upright again. Ilya's visage looked over-dramatic and rather confused, yet after a moment, she blinked and seemed to fix her face more or less. Her hair was now plastered to the sides of her face, and her bangs were covering a good portion of her eyes. Ilya was soaked. "Hey that wasn't nice!" she called more or less at the shore line rather than anyone in particular.

[Ellie]

Yuri snickered and she went and hid behind Charizard, who snorted at her.

Ellie's eyes widened when she saw what was going on and she sighed. She said "Yuri..." She got up and went to where Ilya was and she said "Sorry, Yuri likes to be a little prankster. Come out of the water, you'll dry off fast in the sun."

Poliwag surfaced, the jacket in her mouth and she slowly swam towards Ilya, just staring at her.

[Jay]

Breserker looked wryly at Yuri for a moment before shaking his head and half sighing. <You might want to move out of the way, Charizard, before I squirt you instead of the trouble maker on accident> he smirked before forming a rather weak Water Gun and shooting it towards Yuri rather playfully.

Ilya nodded slowly and walked out of the water as she tried to squish the water from her dress. "Hmmmm that felt good though....hehehe" she finally said reaching up and squishing the water out of her hair.

Looking towards Poliwag, Ilya smiled and took her jacket back. "Thanks for getting my jacket..." she said to the water type. After a moment, she seemed to suddenly giggle and spun rather quickly spraying the loose bits of water on her dress in every direction. After a moment, she was simply laughing lightly and giggling even more.

[Ellie]

Ellie watched and she smiled. The girl seemed to be having fun now, even if she was soaked. She said "How about that swim now? The water will feel really good right about now."

As Ilya spun about and scattered the drops of water, Poliwag dove back underneath the water and just started to float around underneath there, just staring up at the surface.

Yuri got in front of Charizard, who wasn't moving an inch. She got hit by the water gun and she splashed down into the water near Breserker and started to float around.

[Jay]

Ilya seemed to perk up a bit more and nodded her head rather happily. "Sure!" she answered looking back at the water for a moment. Bringing a finger up to her chin for a moment, the white haired girl set her jacket on the beach spread out a bit so that the sun could dry it and then moved back towards the water. She didn't have any sort of bathing suit, and most of what she carried was actually very small due to Ilya's inner idea that somehow things would be provided in one fashion or another.

Breserker half smirked at his water attack landing and then looked rather surprised to see Yuri swimming in the water as well. Turning his head back towards the Poliwag, Breserker moved his large fin arm and caused the water to make a rather short but rather full wave.

[Ellie]

Ellie smiled and she jumped into the water with her clothes on. She started to float around, staring up at the sky and she smiled. She said "So, where are you heading too next?"

Poliwag was brought to the surface by the wave and she looked over at Breserker, just staring at him. She then tried to splash him with her tail. It seemed she was finally getting used to being around him.

Yuri had started to play tricks now on Charizard. Charizard growled, getting fed up and he got up and went and laid down near the stuff and he huffed.

[Jay]

Ilya pushed back her bags as she surfaced again and then looked towards Ellie. "Not sure, really," she answered back shrugging her shoulders. "I might go and see Anvilia, and then after that..." She shrugged her shoulders and then seemed to flop back in the water. "I dunno... maybe go north and east... Are you headed anywhere?"

Breserker found himself splashed and half smirked before sending yet another light wave over to the other water pokemon. He was far larger in context, yet he was careful to keep the waves small and easy to take. Looking towards the Charizard for a moment, Breserker seemed to size him up for half a second before looking away again.

[Ellie]

Ellie looked over at Ilya as the girl answered. She shrugged, saying "Haven't figured it out yet. I was just heading off in a random direction. Any good suggestions?"

Charizard moved his tail a bit, shifting some of the sand around, and he yawned. Poliwag rode on it again and started to shoot bubbles into the air and watched as they floated on the wind.

[Jay]

Ilya seemed to cross her arms and think deeply about the subject as though she were choosing the exact right one to state. "Glacial Village is always pretty," she answered back finally nodding. "It's all snowy almost all the time." After a moment, the white haired girl turned her head towards Breserker and broke into a fit of giggles seeing the great water creature so relaxed.

Breserker seemed to watch the bubbles for a moment before shooting them rather easily with water guns here and there and causing them to burst into particles that reflected light rather easily.
