Stopping Point (MOD/Open)

[Ellie]

Ellie nodded and she smiled. She said "Sounds like a good place to go. With Charizard, I won't have to worry about getting cold. He'll keep me warm." She got up out of the water and she stretched. She sat down on the sand and she said "Looks like they are having fun, aren't they?"

Poliwag smiled and blew more bubbles into the air. She was having fun with this, more fun than she had had in a while.

[Jay]

Ilya sat up in the water as well and scrambled for a moment as she found herself unable to find a surface under the water. However, after a few seconds, she managed to keep herself stable. Looking over, she watched Breserker and the Poliwag and nodded.

"I don't have a fire type pokemon, but I grew up in the north, so it's not so bad," she answered back before suddenly appearing mischievous. Starting to move in the water towards Breserker, Ilya waited till he was distracted and then jumped up in the water and hugged him.

Breserker was taken back by the sudden hug but seemed to relax his tension that had formed after another moment. Shaking his head, he made to shake the silly white haired girl off of him. Ilya let go and then fell back into the water again.

[Ellie]

Ellie nodded and she looked up at the sky. She said "I've never seen snow. Sure it gets cold out here, but probably not as cold as it does up there. Course, I'm not sure." She chuckled, watching the girl as she jumped at her pokemon.

Charizard, laid there watching, as some more wind came up and picked up the sand. It swirled around his nose, tickling it. He suddenly sneezed, blowing out fire with it. The fire went straight out and hit Ilya's jacket, catching it on fire.

[Jay]

The jacket instantly caught into a rather large flame, and the shriek that hit Ilya's lungs vibrated in Breserker's ears. The white haired girl didn't even think to order her water pokemon to but the fire out but ran towards her burning jacket flailing her arms and panicking like no tomorrow. "Fire fire fire fire fire fire! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" the white haired girl shouted at the fire as though it would somehow change the state of the burning jacket.

Breserker sighed and used a few Water Sport and caused water to rush onto the jacket putting the fire out. Ilya continued to jump up and down until she realized that the fire was put out and breathed out before swiping up her jacket and staring at the large burn holes in it. Suddenly spiteful, the white haired child made to smack the Charizard with her burnt jacket. "MY JACKET!" she cried at the fire-flying type as though it were not already obvious what she was yelling about.

[Ellie]

Ellie's eyes widened as she stood there, helpless, watching the girl's jacket burn. It was an accident, after all, the sand had made Charizard sneeze. Her eyes widened as she went to hit Charizard with the jacket. She said "I wouldn't do that!"

It was too late. The jacket hit Charizard and he instantly shot up. His mouth wide open. His fangs became coated with flames and he instantly lunged at the girl, using a fire fang attack at her.

Ellie instantly took off, running at the girl and grabbing her arm and throwing her out of the way. As she did, Charizard's mouth enclosed around Ellie's arm and she winced in pain, trying her best not to cry out. She said "There there, calm down." Charizard blinked, realizing what he was biting on and he quickly let go and backed away, looking down.

Ellie just stared at him and turned towards Ilya. She said "Are you stupid?! Sure he burned your jacket, but it was an accident!! You do go hitting a pokemon like that. Would you hit your pokemon if they accidently did something like that?!" She stood there, her arm by her side, her hand clenching her forearm where the Charizard had bit down.

[Jay]

Ilya stared. And stared. And stared. Suddenly she simply burst out crying and sobbed so loudly that Breserker seemed to tense believing that she had been burned or something. The white haired girl's knees hit the sand and she simply kept crying.

"Bu-bu-but it was my jacket and mommy gave it to me for being a good girl all year, and daddy said no but mommy said it was ok and and sister got one like it and and and momma said it was cute and and adjnaskjcxh neeeeeehhhhhhh," Ilya would have kept going on with this incoherent rant if she had had enough breath to keep going, yet crying certainly used a lot of oxygen causing her to gasp and simply go back to crying.

Breserker breathed in and then out again before looking at the Charizard. <Forgive Ilya...> he sighed. <She's a child in the end of it....mmm.....> After a moment, the large water pokemon started dragging himself ashore trying to get around without bumping anyone.

[Ellie]

Ellie looked at Ilya and she walked over to her and knelt down beside her and hugged her. She said "It's ok. I understand what it is like for a gift from your parents. I have some stuff that I value that my mom gave me, also some stuff that was hers that she left behind. I would be upset too if it was me, but you don't need to take it out on anyone. Plus, the jacket can be replaced, you can't be replaced, I'm glad that you aren't hurt. Everything will be alright."

Charizard snorted and he looked around, saying < Yes she is a child, but she still had no right to hit me. I know I acted out of hand, but still...> He headed towards the two girls and he laid down, bumping his head softly against Ilya's back.

[Jay]

Ilya sobbed a bit more and seemed to tighten her grip on the jacket. After a bit, she seemed to cool a bit and simply whimpered every once in a while. Breserker sighed and shook his head a bit at the Charizard's words. <She is possessive of things, it's true, but the jacket is somewhat of a....> Breserker moved his head as though unable to find the word for it. <Well the twins.. her older brother and sister have been quite spiteful in their years, yet as a family, they both seemed to come out of it for a short time in order to get Ilya something...which probably makes it more special than normal things would be. It's silly I know, and she might not even see it that way, but that is my reasoning at least.>

[Ellie]

Ellie said "If you want, we can take it into town and I can pay to have it fixed? I'm really sorry about that."

Charizard looked at the girl and nudged her hand, looking up at her, with sorry filled eyes. He looked over at Breserker, saying <I know what you mean. Ellie lost her mother several years ago. She then set off on a journey, even though her dad didn't want her too. Back at her home, she has several objects that she has kept hidden that belonged to her momma, those are her treasures.>

[Jay]

Ilya seemed to be trying a bit to calm herself and all but making her stomach more sick in the process. After a few more seconds, she simply tried holding her breath to slow the pounding in her chest. Breathing out a bit slower now, she made a smaller whimper before shaking her head and trying again to put on a happy face. However, this seemed to break rather easily, and she was quietly frowning again. "It... It's alright..............................." she finally stated rather quietly.

Breserker nodded a bit also understanding the sentimental concept from the other girl. He wondered for half a second if it was a human thing but simply decided that he wouldn't question that just yet.
