Van was sitting on a bench at the base of the clock tower. It was Friday and he had the day off so he had no idea what to do. He had hoped to find a trainer but no luck. SO he was just sitting there eating his sandwich.

Tyson was walking through town. He was sightseeing and came upon the old Clocktower. He noticed a boy sitting on a bench at the base of it and approached him. "Hey you. Battle?" he said pulling off a pokeball from his belt.

Van looked at the man and for one reason or another was annoyed by him. Though he wanted to battle so he simply said sure. He got off the bench and pulled out a poke ball. "Go Chameleon". A charmeleon popped out of the ball ready for battle.

"Charmeleon...Fire Type..." Tyson went through his 6 pokemon through his mind. He smirked and said "Pathetic." He pointed at Charmeleon "It's going to be way too easy to beat you...why not make this a 6 on 6 battle top be fair. Subsitutions allowed." He pulled of two pokeballs on his belt and looked between two of them. He then put one away and tossed the other one out which came out to be Cyndaquil.
Cyndaquil looked at Tyson and scoffed, then turned towards Charmeleon and it's flame heated up. "You have the first move."

Van backed up a few steps "Insulting me and my Pokemon was a bad move on your part". "CHARMELEON" the Pokemon roared at the insult. "Use Rock tomb". The charmeleon grabbed rocks and began to throw them at the cyndiquil.

Tyson smirked as the boy seemed to be upset with his comment. The Charmeleon seemed to be even more mad as it roared and used a Rock Tomb attack on Cyndaquil. Tyson simply folded his arms and didn't say anything as Cyndaquil took matters into it's own hands.
It started out with a Double Team which made copies that circled around Charmeleon and back again. The Cyndaquil (or rather all the Cyndaquils) procedded to charge at Charmeleon with a powerful Quick Attack.

Van just watched as the rookie trainer continued to annoy him. "Earthquake". Chameleon roared "CHAR!"the ground shook violently. Van stood his ground like it was nothing. "If you think this Battle will be easy then your crazy". Van smiled as his charmeleon executed the attack.

Tyson wa smart enough to anticipate the Charmeleon's counterattack and quickly said "Return! Cyndaquil!" A red light shot out of Cyndaquil's pokeball and sucked it back in before the Earthquake could hit.
"I was hoping I wouldn't have to put any effort into this but..." He pulled out another pokeball "You're actually halfway decent in battling...Lets go Pururiru!" he tossed the Pokeball out and it came out as Pururiru "Pururiru! Rain dance!" Clouds began to form over the battlefield and it started to rain.

Van began cracking up and said "Your a total loser!". The charmeleon was just frustrated that he didnt get to finish his battle. Van smirked "If thats the way you want to play it".
"Charmeleon return" van returned charmeleon and drew another pokeball. "L use thunder!" with this an electrive came out of it's pokeball and used the thunder. Becuase it was raining it made for increaced acuarsey.

"How naive" Said Tyson as the boy switched from Charmeleon to Electivire. "Pururiru! Protect!" a green dome came up around Pururiru as the Thunder hit. "Now use Surf!" Pururiru's eyes glowed blue and a huge wave moved violently towards Electivire. It was more powerful than a normal Surf since Rain dance boosts water type moves.

"Protect" was the only word to escape Van's lips. As the water clashed with the orb of protection L didn't even flinch. Neither did his trainer whop was hit by the wave. "THUNDER" L put his two tails together and summoned the thunder at the tiny Pokemon.

"Return Pururiru!" Tyson said as he quickly called Pururiru back before the Thunder was launched "Fight Doryuzu!" he said throwing out Doryuzu's pokebal. The Thunder hit Doryuzu but being grounded type the attack didn't do anything. "Doryuzu use Earthquake!" Doryuzu stomped on the ground and everything began to shake up.

Van grinned and said "JUMP" L jumped to avoid the attack. "FIRE PUNCH". As L came down his fist lit a blaze and swung his arm at the ground type Pokemon. Van was happy he finally had something he could work with this Pokemon was as good as toast.

Tyson said nothing as he was going to let Doryuzu handle this battle. As soon as the Electivire jumped Doryuzu used Iron Defense and then used Swords Dance. When the Fire Punch hit it did do some damage but due to the combined Rain Dance (which weakened fire attacks) and Iron Defense, Doryuzu barely even flinched. He then changed the weather by using Sandstorm and then attempted to use Drill Liner on Elecitivire.

L dodged it Barely though. "Earthquake" Van called out and as commanded L used earthquake. Van was annoyed with this punk and was determined to beat him no matter what.

Doryuzu's Drill Liner may have missed but he wasn't done yet. Utilizing his doubled speed from the Sandstorm...he jumped out of the way of the Earthquake attack and when he came down he attacked with an Earth Power attack.
