He snarled and urged his pokemon into the dingy lab. With any luck, he might be able to catch something more useful than a Misdreavus, an Umbreon, and a Riolu. The Riolu met his high standards, but it didn't mean he liked the pokemon who was always so eager to please. Slender fingers ripped through his hair, causing his beige cap to slip away from its carefully placed position. Black hair hid his eyes from view. Twenty-one, no reputation, not a thing to look forward, three pokemon who were pains in the asses, and living each day to train and collect pokemon like some crazed obsession. He rolled his eyes momentarily.

"Make yourself useful, Cyanide. Search ahead for any signs of life in this hovel."[/color] He muttered past gritted teeth, making sure the Umbreon heard him. The black hued pokemon was more than happy to leave his trainer's presence. The male waited until the sound of thudding paws faded from the echoing halls. "Valium, trail behind and watch my back. Strychnine, walk beside me."[/color]

He growled briefly and shook his head slowly. With a nod of his head, Valium floated silently behind him while Strychnine walked beside him, resting his small paw against his trainer's leg. It earned him a glare, but the tall, lanky male did nothing to get the weight of the paw off of him. In a way, it comforted his agitation and quelled the rage building inside of him. Cyanide had been his first pokemon, but he never got along with the dark pokemon. Strychnine had been the newest addition to his party, and he felt a deeper connection than he did with the other two but maybe that was simply because the young pokemon reminded him of himself. A quiet chortle left him, but it was shortlived and rather rare.
