Alone [OPEN/MOD]

Upon seeing another human and pokemon, the Golduck cringed away even as she was addressed and quickly hid behind a thicker tree rather unnerved by the large group then and there ><;; why... why was she scared... she couldn't..... even understand, really....

Alexander froze up. A human voice.... the exact reason he had avoided these
cities for a while now... he was about to make a break for it when Cali licked the back of his hand. Alex looked into her eyes, then nodded. He stood up, the gauze wrapped all around his left leg showing.
"Not at all," he said, even managing to smile a little. Okay, so the good thing was that she wasn't instantly challenging him to battle or something. For this he was glad.

Alexander leaped up to his older brother's shoulder, leaning against the Tyranitar's head a little.
"I'm Alexander. You are?"

(the reason I say brother is because Alex considers pokemon his family. His own parents died when he was about four. he ran away and was pretty much raised by his Larvitar (now a Tyranitar, Law), and Cali (Absol). Just a quick explanation for ease of knowledge.)

Feeling the golduck cringe she backed up a bit to give her a bit of room. "Sorry Golduck." Kaiyou wiggled in Mekura's arms trying to see all the new pokemon. She was so hyped up. It probably didn't help she had just had a nap. Risa smiled and crawled onto Mekura's shoulders even as the boy introduced himself. "I'm Mekura." If anyone actually looked her name up they would probably steer clear of her. Seeming to glance around she looked for Hana. Hana a Shiny Ninetales appeared around a tree from the spots she had been searching. Tilting her head she realized this girl seemed to be running into the society that she usually stayed away from.

The Golduck slowly peered around the tree again a tad tentative at best. Who-who were all these people? And-and-and... what were they doing in the swamp? She found herself both curious and afraid =/. If... if only she could be brave and talk to them.....

Alexander decided to hop off of his older brother, landing in front of Law. He extended his hand to Mekura politely.
Asha was now resting atop Law's head, looking around. She saw the Golduck and leaped down, landing with a soft thud. She wandered over to the wild pokemon, smiling.
"Cyndaquil!" *Hi!*
Cali was lazing off somewhere near the shore of the pond that Peace was once again staring at his reflection on. It was quite mesmerizing.

"So, what brings you all the way out here, Mekura?" Alex asked.

Mekura seemed to hesitate before she took his hand and gave it a slightly shake. Letting go she finally set her squirming Togepi down again. "Ah...Kaze chose to come here. It was his turn." Which reminded her now that Togepi was found again she reached into her pocket and fished out Kaze's poke-ball. Letting out her own Surskit he immediately headed to the water to play. If anything one would probably thing Mekura was a bit socially awkward. Togepi toddled forward and looked around with amazement. There were so many pokemon to play with. Risa kept an eye on Togepi since Mekura couldn't.

The Golduck slowly came out of hiding and managed a rather reclusive wave towards the Cyndaquil. <H-h-h-hello......> she managed to say back before rubbing her arm a little and standing there a tad quietly. <H-h-how are you?>

Alexander smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, my brother's like that sometimes. Right, Law?" he asked, looking over his shoulder at his Tyranitar. The pokemon nodded and smiled.
Peace happily wandered up to Meruka's Surskit.
*Well hi there!*
Cali watched the Togepi in amusement, laid down with her head rested on her paws.
Asha smiled.
*I'm great. How are you?* Asha could tell that the Golduck was nervous.

Mekura looked slightly confused until Risa explained it to her through thoughts. Oh. So he had a tyranitar. Had he been raised by his pokemon? Mekura slightly waved at his pokemon. Hana moved forward to look at the new pokemon her tails swaying slightly. Kaze grinned and moved around on the water. <Hey! I'm Kaze.> Togepi squealed and spotted the absol watching her. Babbling in her baby talk she toddled forward and tripped sending her rolling toward the Absol. Risa looked around and wondered why Mekura always seemed at odds with other people. Being blind wasn't something to be ashamed of. Plus with her around Mekura didn't have to worry, Risa could just send her pictures.

The Golduk slowly nodded her head as though trying to force some sort of layer of courage. <I'-I'm good....> she managed with a light shiver that could possibly have been from the cold or from her nerves. In that moment, she thanked Arceus that it was wither and she could possibly blame it on that.....maybe....kinda....uh...

Alexander smiled to Mekura.
"So, you live around here?"
Peace smiled at the Surskit.
<I'm Peace. How are ya?>
Cali chuckled softly and helped the youngling to it's feet. She smiled to the Togepi and watched the baby pokemon.
Law looked at Hana, smiling a little.
<Hey, you okay?> Asha asked the Golduck innocently. <Don't worry, no one here is going to attack you.>

Mekura blinked and scratched the back of her head at his question. "Um no. I just travel around. You?" Her voice was actually getting quieter the more she talked. Hadn't she just left the city to get away from others. They always ended up pitying her one they found out. Well Alvaro hadn't but he was weird in his own way. Ell this guy didn't know anything either so it must have just been her who wanted to disappear. Risa watched and started messing with Mekura's cap while Hana found a nice dry spot with no mud to lay. She didn't like having to take baths. Kaze grinned at Peace and slid around on the water. <I'm happy! How are you?>

The Golduck slowly nodded quietly at the question on whether she was alright or not. Ya... she was... kind of... alright... maybe... >> << >>; She managed to breathe inwards and then breathed outwards again finally managing an honest smile. <What are all of you doing out here?> she asked lightly.

Alexander shrugged.
"Me and my siblings, we come from Sinnoh. I honestly try and avoid big and bustling places though. I tend to have... break downs," he said nervously.
Peace followed Kaze's movements.
<I'm great!>
Law had walked off somewhere.
Asha smiled to the Golduck.
<Ohh, Alex over there doesn't like big cities all too much. He came out here to be alone, but apparently another human found him. Odd, huh?>

Mekura blinked at what he said. She hadn't actually met another person who avoided the cities. Risa perked up when she heard him speak about the cities. Giggling she nudged his mind with her own to speak now. ("Mekura doesn't like cities either. Well mostly she just wants to keep away from all the crowds of people.") Mekura sweat dropped since there was no way of keeping Risa quiet when she wanted to speak. Which how did she end up in this conversation again? At least the boy was nice. Kaze smiled and started moving in figure eights. He loved the water. Togepi having found someone to play with squealed and basically talked baby gibberish to the Absol.

The Golduck slowly nodded at Asha. It was weird... to have so many humans... though technically two wasn't that many but but but... even one was a tad odd if they weren't traveling together.. wait... were they traveling together? The Golduck was finding herself simply confused and rubbed the back of her head. Not far from where Law was headed, a Corphish could be seen scuttling around on a large tree root.

Law stopped and sat, groaning. Yeah, long day of travel.
Peace followed right behind his playmate.
Asha watched the Golduck. <You okay?>
Alexander smiled.
"Much as I do. I don't know, public settings just give me the creeps. I feel so... boxed in. Vulnerable."
Alexander shrugged. He normally would scatter at the sight of another trainer, but hey. Mekura was nice enough.
Cali smiled nod listened to the baby pokemon babble on. She stood up and gave the small Togepi a playful nudge with her nose.

Togepi squealed in happiness and patted the absol's nose with her tiny arms. Toddling around she snuggled into the Absol's warmth. She had taken off Mekura's scarf at some point while they had been traveling. Mekura reached a hand up to tickle Risa if only to get her to be quiet. Risa squeaked and ended up laughing but soon moved Mekura's hand away. She wanted to talk now! ("It hurts um whats the word.....um.....Senses. Yup thats the word. Mostly though it just overwhelms her.") Mekura frowned and almost grimaced. Pulling out Risa's poke-ball she returned the chatty pokemon. "Sorry. She seems to think I need to be talked about." Stuffing the pokeball back into her pocket she looked in the direction of the water. She could hear Kaze having fun. Was there another surskit? Probably Alexander's. Hana who had been watching Mekura quickly got up and walked over to her letting the girl's fingers brush her fur so she knew Hana was there.

The Golduck was slowly growing in confidence, and after a moment, she nodded her head before bringing a hand to her chin in thought. <Well........ the swamp is pretty nice ^^> she stated trying to change the conversation for now at least. <Though there is fog that tends to roll in quick...> Almost as though on some twisted command, a thick fog started to roll in....wow....

Alexander shrugged.
"It's quite all right."
He began to notice the fog rolling in. "Odd... where's that fog coming from?"
Asha looked around as the fog began to gather.
<Are you doing that?>
Peace didn't mind the fog, following Kaze's actions like a mirror.
Cali smiled and snuggled the Togepi close to her.
Law was off somewhere. Sitting. Yeah.
