Short-Lived Tranquility [MOD/PALKIA]

Hm? A game? The Girafarig seemed to smile a bit. <Did you have anything in mind?> she asked rather gently to the other pokemon. She wouldn't mind a game~ Especially with rather cute pokemon.

Unfortunately for the boy, Aylin certainly didn't have any intention of leaving anytime soon. She was enjoying herself in this area--she was still amazed by how lovely everything looked--and she most certainly wasn't going to leave without Nahele. She hoped that he would find his way back to them if they stayed in one spot, but if he didn't, she would go search.

"Hmm, is that so...?" she considered the boy's answer throughtfully, absentmindedly running her fingers through her Arcanine's mane to smooth out any tangles, "I agree that spoiling your Pokemon is not the way to go--especially if you intend on fighting with them. Though...why this Quilava in particular? He seems plenty powerful to me, especially considering that he's not a Typhlosion yet."

Nahele's tail wagged lightly as he pat the Igglybuff on the head, clearly growing fondness for the baby Pokemon. At Girafarig's question, he tilted his head thoughtfully. 'What about...tag?' he suggested, figuring that it was a game anyone could play. However, he did not consider that by playing this game, he and the Igglybuff would probably only end up wandering farther away from their trainers. Who knows what trouble--or danger--they would get in without their trainers around.

[VEGETA]

"Not strong enough." Tyson said calmly..as much as he didn't want to think it..this girl wasn't as annoying as the last one v_v; Regardless he continued this time looking in her direction "As you can see...I couldn't push him to do this stuff if he didn't already have the will to do it. I know when a pokemon is a lost cause." he paused for a moment and folded his arms before saying "He wants to prove himself...i'm letting him do that." Quilava was panting, his legs were wobbling, and he was sweating profusely yet he still kept going.

Igglybuff bounced up and down at the sound of tag and began to run off farther away from Tyson and Aylin thinking that the game had already begun.

[Jay]

The Girafarig seemed to smile a little and then suddenly tagged the Eevee with her tail, rose quickly and then started off in a different direction from the Igglybuff. Far off, something was watching the other pokemon and seemed to be frowning considerably as it watched.........What the.....heck were they doing?

"...I guess I see your point," Aylin admitted after watching the Quilava silently, "As long as the Pokemon isn't unhappy--so long as he wants to train this hard--I don't have much of a right to criticize what is and isn't good for him." Still, the girl peered into her bag and assured herself that she had a few potions on hand just in case they were needed.

After this, she turned her head to peer over Faris' back and down at her Snivy, smiling wryly and quirking an eyebrow at the grass-type, "The Quilava kinda reminds me of you, Xiaoli. Sometime you really don't know your own limitations." When she only received a snort and a stare in response, Aylin turned back to the boy.

"By the way, I'm Aylin. Could I get your name?" She glanced around and, after a pause, added, "You haven't seen my Eevee anywhere, have you?"

Meanwhile, said Eevee was chasing after the Igglybuff and the Girafarig, switching from one to the other whenever he got close to one of them. He was completely unaware of the fact that they were being watched, but his attention was focused entirely on trying to tag either of the other Pokemon. As he neared the Igglybuff, he attempted to reach out to pat her on the head.

[VEGETA]

"Exactly." said Tyson as he turned back to watch Quilava train. His focus on the battle was soon interupted once more when the girl asked if for Tyson's name and if he had seen an Eevee anywhere. "Tyson." he said pausing for a moment to think if he'd actually seen an Eevee here. "No I haven't seen an Eevee around. Maybe-..." Tyson patted his backpack a bit then said "....Have you seen my Igglybuff anywhere?"

Igglybuff was patted on the head and giggled but this caused her to trip and she began rolling farther and farther away than before without any sign of stopping.

[Jay]

Upon seeing the rolling of the Igglybuff, the Girafarig stopped in mid run and then ran towards the small pokemon before standing right in front of her hoping to stop her from rolling too far. However... >_> <_< >_> .-. Wait... did she just roll through her quadrupedal legs? Ack... Wait D: come back!

"Nice to meet you, Tyson," she said pleasantly. However, after listening to his response--and then his own question--the girl's smile faded into a frown. "No, I'm sorry, I haven't seen an Igglybuff. Perhaps they..." Trailing off, she exchanged glances with Xiaoli and Faris. At once, she hopped off of her Arcanine's back, a look of concern spreading over her features. She scanned the surrounding area, but couldn't see any signs of either of the missing Pokemon.

After a minute or two of searching, she looked over her shoulder towards her Pokemon. "Xiaoli, Faris, let's go see if we can find them." While she generally wouldn't be so worried, an Igglybuff and an Eevee wandering a place where wild Pokemon roamed was certainly a cause for concern.

Nahele stiffened in panic when the Igglybuff began to roll away. With a squeak of protest, he dashed after her, nearly colliding into the Girafarig's legs but managing to skid to a stop at the very last second. 'W-what are we going to do!? We have to help her!' He stood there uncertainly for a moment before darting after the Igglybuff again, hoping that he could intercept her somewhere.

[VEGETA]

"Nice to meet you too I suppose.." Tyson said with half sincerity as he took Puruiru's pokeball off his belt and tossed it into the air. "Pururiru go find Igglybuff...and if you happen to see an Eevee bring that to her." he said pointing at Aylin. Puruiru then nodded and began to float off while Tyson turned back to his training.

Igglybuff continued to pick up the rolling speed as she was heading off away from everyone else. Suddenly she hit a rock in the middle of her roll and started heading in the direction of the pokemon that was watching them earlier.

[Jay]

The Girafarig turned around quickly and started after the Igglybuff. <We gotta get her> she said in a suddenly very determined voice. However, when it seemed that the Igglybuff had hit a rock, the Girafarig stopped for a moment not sure of what to say. However, she shook this stunned notion away and finally ran towards the Igglybuff before stopping in front of the small pokemon. <Are you alright, dear?> she asked.

Aylin blinked at the order Tyson had given to his Pokemon before bobbing her head politely. "Thanks. We'll keep an out for your Igglybuff, right guys?" The pair cried out in a chorus, and then the three of them were off in different directions, scanning the area for the missing Eevee and Igglybuff.

"Nahele! Igglybuff!" Where on earth were they?

Nahele winced when the baby Pokemon rolled into the rock, his ears laying back. 'Are you okay?' he called out, albeit shakily. It was only to be expected considering that he was running in the other direction to try to catch the Igglybuff and was short on breath.

[VEGETA]

Tyson didn't say anything but just nodded as Aylin thanked him. To be honest he wasn't doing it because he wanted to...Igglybuff was the only pokemon on his team that could heal his other pokemon (and he had developed attachment to the little thing.. <_<) he simply looked back at Quilava and said "Continue."

Igglybuff sat up and whimpered a bit before bursting into tears. You could see from hitting the rock there was a large bump on her head that looked very painful. She began to flail a bit as she cried...she wished Tyson was around to fix this..

The Girafarig frowned deeply at seeing the crying baby but was unsure of what to do for a few seconds. She would have pet the small pokemon if not for... well... hooves.... Looking towards the Eevee, she made a quiet nose as though questioning if he knew of anything they could do.
