Aylin shivered from both the cold as well as the beauty of the area in which she and her team currently traversed. From her spot on her Arcanine's back--she was riding him side-saddle, as one would do with a Ponyta or Rapidash--the girl peered out over the land. The frost that blanketed the grass sparkled in the sunlight as they trudged past, and the girl thought she caught a few glimpses of wild winter-season flowers as well. "This place is amazing." Aylin breathed, her gaze sweeping over the land.
Her Pokemon nodded in agreement, absentmindedly glancing around to take in their surroundings. Like Aylin, both her Snivy and her Eevee were perched on Faris' back, their combined weight seeming no bother to the powerful fire Pokemon.
The girl gathered Xiaoli--her Snivy--onto her lap when she noticed him shiver slightly. Unlike the other two members of her current team, he was not so fortunate as to have a thick coat of fur. Wrapping her arms around him, she sighed and closed her eyes. It's so peaceful here, she mused, closing her eyes. All she could hear was the soft crunch of frosted grass beneath Faris' paws, their combined breathing, and quiet scuffling noises from any wild Pokemon in the area.

The peace and tranquility would soon be broken as their happened to be doing some battle training in the area. "Quick attack again Quilava. Faster this time." could be heard from a boy's voice somewhere. Quilava was panting and sweating as it kept charging at Puruiru again and again trying to go faster and faster.
"Don't stop just keep doing it. This will help with stamina along with speed. Quick Attack again." to the normal person it would seem like Tyson was overworking his pokemon but this was simply how he trained. He noticed the girl riding the Rapidash in the area but paid no attention to her. "I came here to be alone.." he thought as he watched Quilava attack over and over again.

High above, two Swablu were flying overhead rather lazily. More towards the ground, a Volbeat appeared to be looking around for something. A Girafarig could be seen farther away grazing on long grass and appearing to ignore everything around her.

The girl frowned, opening her eyes slowly when sounds of fighting reached her ears. From a few meters away, she could see a boy with his Pokemon. Even from this distance, she could see that the Quilava appeared to be exhausted, and the frown on her face deepened. That's...going a tad far, isn't it? Though I suppose it's not really my business, but... She looked torn, debating whether she should go up and confront the boy or leave him be. However, before she could decided, Faris was already heading towards him and--considering that she was riding on his back--Aylin had no choice but to go with him.
When they were only a few feet away, the girl slid off of her Arcanine's back, gave him an affectionate pat, and walked up to the stranger. Her lips were turned upwards in a polite and friendly smile as she bobbed her head in greeting, her gaze sliding towards the male trainer's Quilava. "Training is good," she commented, careful to keep her tone friendly and even, "But it should always be balanced in moderation with rest." Faris and Xiaoli moved up beside her, their own gazes glued onto the battle.
Meanwhile, Nahele had hopped off of Faris' back, glancing at the area with his wide brown eyes. He blinked a little when he caught sight of the Girafarig, having never seen a Pokemon quite like it before. To be more specific, what had drawn his attention in was the other Pokemon's tail--was that a face?--and, without considering how worried Aylin would be when she realized he had wandered off, the little Eevee went to investigate the creature's strange tail.

Tyson turned around towards the girl who seemed to be giving him advice on how to train his pokemon. He stared at her blankly for a few seconds before saying "It's none of your business." he then turned back towards Quilava and said "Faster. Give up and you're weak." Quilava could barely stand but kept attempting to use Quick Attacks.
Igglybuff slipped out of Tyson's backpack when he wasn't looking. She quickly leaped down and saw the Eevee heading towards the Girafarig so being the curious pokemon she was she headed towards it as well.

The tail of the Girafarig twitched a little, and the grazing beast slowly moved her head upwards and turned to stare at the poekmon that were coming towards her. More or less believing them not to be too dangerous (given that one of them even appeared to be a baby pokemon), she simply smiled for a moment and turned her form to address them both rather warmly. <Hello there> she smiled rather cheerfully at the Eevee first and then towards the Igglybuff.

"Just friendly advice," she replied calmly, clutching her arms around herself for warmth, "There's nothing wrong with working hard, but I'm just warning you that working too hard may have adverse effects." Despite Aylin's rather even approach to it, her brows knit in concern as she watched the Quilava. Even five minutes would be better than no break at all.
Nahele turned around to offer a friendly smile at the Igglybuff as it approached them, giving a little wave of his paw in greeting. He turned this smile onto the Girafarig next. 'H-hello,' he echoed, looking a tad more nervous now, 'Um...can I see your tail?' It was likely an odd request, but it was such a strange looking tail...

"Tch. You're giving me advice and you don't even know me. These are my pokemon...I don't think you should be telling me what I should do with them." it was at this point that Quilava passed out. Tyson shook his head and let him lay there panting for a while. "Now where's Igglybuff.." he said to himself as he looked around.
Igglybuff had more of a child's mind then the Eevee so her first response was bounce excitedly and then reach for the Girafarig's tail over and over again but she couldn't quite reach it.

The Girafarig blinked surprised before looking at her smiling tail and then slowly holding it down towards the Eevee. <There....> she answered as the smiling head stared at both of the young pokemon. Somewhere in the recesses of it's tiny brain, the tail recognized that there were pokemon and sent this signal to the Girafarig who already knew at that point.

"I wasn't telling you anything," Aylin replied, frowning now, "I was simply offering you suggestions." When the poor Quilava passed out, the girl suppressed the urge to go "I told you so" and instead approached the fire Pokemon, crouching down beside it with a concerned frown. "You okay?"
Faris, meanwhile, had noticed that something was amiss. He looked to Aylin, to Xiaoli, and then...where was Nahele? Ears pricking up, the Arcanine glanced around with confusion before emitting a bark to alert his trainer. Aylin turned to look at him with confusion before it dawned on her what was bothering him. "Wha--where's Nahele?"
The Eevee could help but grin at the Igglybuff's actions, finding that it was rather charming in a adorably innocent way. When the Girafarig lowered her, tail, Nahele bobbed her head politely. 'T-thank you!' he chirped, tilting his head to examine the tail. It really was strange, what with it's own face and all. Was it...sentient, he wondered?

Tyson simply smirked and walked over towards Pururiru (His Shiny Frillish) he quickly recalled him and threw out his Zoroark. "We're doing it again. I find it hard to believe that you've evolved but are still behind unevolved pokemon in strength." Zoroark began to growl at Tyson but didn't do anything.
Quilava struggled to get to his feet and managed to do so while sweating and panting. Zoroark saw this and tapped the button on his pokeball to recall himself. Tyson shook his head again as Quilava was wavering on his feet. He decided to call out Panpour who simply sat and meditated. "Quick attack again."
Igglybuff kept reaching for the tail but on one try she reached up too high and rolled backwards because of it. She quickly recovered and waddled over to the Eevee and attempted to grab it's tail...it seemed fluffy o3o

The eyes on the Girafarig's tail stared down at the two pokemon and reflected the images back towards the major brain of the pokmemon. She seemed to slowly lower herself even more and ended up folding her legs under herself and laying down. The tail was now closer to both small pokemon. Giving the tail a light shake, the Girafarig seemed to smile a bit playfully.

Standing up, Aylin was at a loss for what to do. She didn't like poking her nose in where it wasn't wanted, but this guy really was pushing his poor Pokemon too hard. At the same time, however, she was worried about Nahele's whereabouts. Of all her team members, the Eevee was the least fight-oriented, so to have him wandering about on his own...
However, when the boy ordered the Quilava to attack--yet again--Aylin told herself that Nahele was more than capable of taking himself for a few minutes. Striding up to Tyson, she briskly made a attempt to snatch at his wrist. "Look, I know I don't know you, but that doesn't mean I don't have a right suggest to you that you should probably rest your Quilava, or that I can't suggest for Faris--" she paused to indicate her Arcanine, "--to step in and interrupt your fight." She took a few steps back and stood with her hands on her hips, "I'll even throw in a potion for your Quilava if you let him rest for a bit."
The Eevee emitted a squeak of surprise when he felt something grab at his tail, quickly looking over his shoulder. He relaxed and smiled when he realized it was merely the Igglybuff, waving his fluffy tail around playfully. Turning his attention back to the Girafarig now, he tilted his head curiously. 'Y...your tail has a mouth,' Nahele observed, slowly raising a paw towards it, 'Does that mean it can bite...?'

"What I need you to do is mind your own business and go home." he said coldly breaking out of the girl's grasp. This girl was acting like Nami...Tyson shivered at the thought...even though he kinda hoped to run into her again somewhere >_>; He shook this thought off and turned to Quilava who was struggling. "Use Quick Attack." Quilava began to run forwards but tripped and fell into the dirt to which Tyson said "Stand."
Igglybuff bounced slightly and kept reaching for the Eevee's tail in many failed attempts. She eventually fell over but began laughing and waddled over towards the Girafarig. She soon climbed up onto it's back and began to jump up and down lightly.

The Girafarig had been about to answer when o~o; Hey wait a minute! She wasn't a .......a....well.......uhm....but.......it....was....co....cute...and..... .-.;;;. After a few seconds, the Girafarig laughed a little and went back to answering the question. <Yes... usually one of us grazes at a time though> she answered back.

"My home is a little too far," she answered pleasantly, struggling to keep the polite smile on her face, "So unless you're offering to fly me all the way to Hoenn, I don't think I'll be leaving anytime soon."
Ugh, this guy...he certainly reminded her of a certain someone whom she had met on her travels back in the other regions. How she had managed to tolerate his personality had been a miracle, and here she was with someone who had a very similar attitude. Aylin looked towards her Arcanine and jerked her head in a matter-of-factly manner towards the Quilava. "Faris?"
The large fire-type promptly moved himself between the two Pokemon, his blue eyes focused on the downed Quilava. After a moment, he asked, 'Why are you doing this? Surely you know your limitations.'
Nahele laughed as he watched the Igglybuff bounce up and down--she certainly wasn't lively, wasn't she?--and sighed almost longingly as he stared at the Girafarig's tail. 'That's so cool,' he told her, flattening his ears, 'I wish my tail was like that. Mine is just...fluffy.' To emphasize this, he swished his tail around a bit.

Tyson shook his head at the girl who kept trying to interfere. "You're really annoying. If I knew how to get to Hoenn from here I would just put you on my Flygon and get you away as quick as possible." he moved past the girl so he wasn't facing her and said to Quilava "Keep going you'll never keep up at this rate."
Quilava heard this and stood once more. He looked up at the Arcanine and weakly said <If I don't evolve soon..It's just like he says...I won't be able to keep up with the others..> he said as he bursted into another Quick Attack which the Panpour gracefully dodged.
Igglybuff was bouncing when she lost her footing and gently rolled down the Girafarig. She bounced on the ground and kept rolling until she was stopped by the Eevee's furry body. Igglybuff then got up and began to move around in a confused manner before falling over and giggling.

The Girafarig seemed to smile a little but then frowned upon seeing the small pink pokemon roll off and away. However, after the small pokemon seemed to stop rolling, the Girafarig seemed to relax again., <Be careful, little one> she smiled a bit before shaking her head.

"Unfortunately, you do not," she replied dryly, "And I would have no intention to allow myself to be taken back home right now anyways. Not until I finish what I came here to do." Which she hoped was...well, soon. The sooner she found Valerius, the sooner they could leave (or at least, she hoped).
She watched with frustration as he proceeded to make his Pokemon fight, and Faris padded up beside her, looking just as frustrated as she did. Seating herself back onto Faris' back, with both legs slung over one side, she observed the training silently. Finally, she spoke, "Why do you train this way anyways?" Her voice wasn't hostile, but it was genuinely curious, albeit with a hint of concern, "I know someone back home like you, but I never understood why you push your Pokemon so."
Nahele squeaked in alarm when the Igglybuff lost her footing, and he immediately stood up in preparation to catch her. However, he found it was unneeded when the pink Pokemon simply bumped into him, stood up, and seemed...well, generally as cheerful as always. Flattening his ears, the Eevee sighed in relief. 'She's pretty active, isn't she?' he asked, directing the question towards the Girafarig, 'I wonder...do either of you want to play a game?' He seemed to light up the idea. It had been a long time since he played a game with other Pokemon--neither Faris nor Xiaoli ever seemed interested.

Tyson sighed as the girl seemed to have no intention of leaving. She instead adjusted herself onto her Arcanine which Tyson interpreted that she was planning on talking to him for a while even though he clearly didn't want to. His hunch was right as she asked him "Why do you train this way anyways?" Tyson sighed and answered this without making eye contact saying "Spoiled pokemon lead to weak pokemon. Intense training is the best way to go." he paused for a moment to gather his thoughts "Most of my pokemon don't need this training only Quilava does."
Igglybuff heard the word game and began to squeak/bounce. She stood up and ran over to the Eevee and rubbed against it smiling brightly.
