It was a lovely winter morning on which Chessie decided to explore the Serenity Gardens. Beside her were her two feline Pokemon and perched atop her head was her Kecleon, all three of which seemed to be enjoying the light snowfall and crunching of the ice crystals beneath their feet when they walked. The Cat, as Chessie liked to call herself, was pleased with her surroundings as well as with the crisp, chilled air.
"What shall we do today?" asked Chessie of her dear Drana, who coiled her tail around Chessie's shoulder and moved to stand upon her shoulder.
"I think we should just look around, perhaps battle a little if the opportunity arises?" Drana looked to the cats for agreement, and the pair of them nodded. Chessie smiled and patted the reptile on the head.
"Looking for a fight it is." she purred.

Walking through the snow rather quietly, a large Meganium could be seen. However, instead of a green coloring, he seemed to all but meld with the white snow around him. He appeared almost like a specter there in the garden and was silent enough to be considered one. He didn't seem to notice that anyone else was around.... either that or he was unfazed with those that were around.

Garnet's nose twitched; something smelled.. sweet, like spring flowers. But there were no flowers around here, were there? The Purrloin stopped short and looked around, eyes ready to detect movement, and.. there, what was that? It was high off the ground, just a slight shift of a shadow.. What was it?
By now, Chessie and Ferrie had also stopped, realizing that Garnet must smell or see something they didn't, and Ferrie put her feline nose and vision to the test as well.. She could scent flowers just like Garnet, but there was no more movement from the spot Garnet was focused on.
"Right there.. There's something big.." Garnet murmured, pointing with her front paw at the spot that she had seen the movement. She hadn't taken her eyes off of it, whatever it was, so she would know if it moved again. And.. there! It shifted again! This time, Chessie and Ferrie saw it, too, and the trainer put her Kecleon on the snowy ground. Drana nodded at her and turned towards the spot the two cats were focused on, turning herself invisible save for her blue stripe and carefully creeping towards the.. white or invisible thing. Whatever it was.

A red eye slid sideways at the sound of snow being compressed, and the white Meganium seemed to stop in mid step. Something was staring at him... he could feel it... D< NO HE WAS NOT PARANOID QUIT SAYING THAT........................................... <_< >_>....... Wait...... This was... in his thoughts.......ugh -__-;;;;. Moving a bit slower now, the white grass type continued on if a bit more paranoid than before.

The bright blue stripe moved ever closer to the Meganium, still unsure of the identity of the thing she moved towards. She had been able to make her stripe transparent, but she was still visible.. Chessie watched her Pokemon go towards the thing, then saw the thing begin moving again and tilted her head. "..Drana, be visible again, I don't think it'll attack.." she said, though she spoke quietly so that she wouldn't spook the Pokemon and make her words untrue.
"Alright.." Drana looked uneasy, but she showed her green skin again so that whatever Pokemon she was moving towards could see her, and stood in one place so that she didn't appear threatening. Garnet and Ferrie continued to stare down the form until Chessie nudged them both with her foot. She really didn't want to scare whatever the big Pokemon was.

For half a second, the Meganium was startled to see the Kecleon appear. However, after a few seconds when it didn't seem to be threatening him, he relaxed a little and slowly turned to address the creature before him. <Hello.......> he greeted rather quietly then and there.

Drana grinned, a large, good-natured happy grin, when she realized just what it was she was speaking to. She could finally see the whole outline since she had gotten closer, and it was a Meganium of all things! She wondered if he was cold, but didn't ask.
"Hai~" she said, pleased that the big Pokemon hadn't run away after all. The Kecleon decided to introduce her trainer and teammates before they did something silly. "This is my trainer, Chessie, and this is Garnet," indicating the Purrlion, "and Ferrie," indicating the Glameow. Garnet inclined her head and moved forward, Ferrie smiled and said "A pleasure," and Chessie gave a small wave and also stepped forward.
"Aren't you cold in the snow like this?" asked the curious trainer, tilting her head slightly.

The albino creature was quiet fro a moment taking in the names with a thoughtful gaze. After a few seconds, he looked back to the Kecleon. <A bit...cold I mean> he answered back nodding his head a tad. <Though I have grown accustomed to the winter over the years> he continued before nodding his head a little.

"I see.. I would imagine a Meganium like you would be tough." Drana nodded, trying to both flatter the Pokemon and make sure that her trainer and teammates knew what Pokemon they were speaking to. Garnet, the crafty feline, moved to stand by Drana.
"Yes, you do appear to be quite a tough Pokemon, Meganium." she purred. "Perhaps you'd like a battle? Merely for fun, of course~" The silver-tongued Purrloin was hoping to get the Meganium to join them, but she would have to befriend him first, she knew.

A rather calm smile came to the face of the Meganium, and after a moment, he slowly nodded his head. <Alright.... if this is a challenge, I accept> he stated rather fluidly before looking and wondering which was going to be his challenger. He doubted that he would be attacked by both.......well....hopefully not.

The felines looked at each other, a knowing look that spoke volumes even though both were silent, and then in the same instant that Ferrie stepped back, Garnet stepped forward.
"I'll fight you." she purred. She would allow him the first attack since the challenge was her idea, of course.

The albino Meganium nodded slowly and then bowed respectfully before forming a Magical Leaf. In another moment, the grass type released his move into the air effectively truly starting the battle.

Chessie quietly observed the battle as it began, knowing that her dear little Garnet knew what she was doing on her own and gladly allowing her free reign; after all, she hadn't challenged the Meganium, Garnet had. Indeed, Garnet seemed to have a good handle on battling alone. As she was struck by the colorful leaves, her eyes filled with Fake Tears and she gave a small whimper, trying to lower her opponent's Special Defense. While awaiting her opponent's next move, she was calculating her own next attack, debating between a few.

The Meganium frowned upon seeing the tears. He hadn't meant... to make her sad... Indeed, without him even realizing it, the Meganium's Special Defense fell. After a few seconds, he shook his head and seemed to think about the actual battle before forming yet another Magical Leaf and shooting the leaves at the cat pokemon once more.

Garnet had already figured out what her next move would be, and braced herself to receive damage from Magical Leaf again before it struck. She received slightly less damage that way, but she was still hurt a bit. Luckily, Magical Leaf couldn't cause any status trouble, and soon Garnet was on her hind legs, charging up a Shadow Ball between her front paws and lurching forward to throw it at the Meganium. Even this attack had a chance of lowering her opponent's Special Attack.

The large grass type was hit by the Shadow Ball and cringed a little. However, his Special wasn't affected thankfully for him. After a few seconds, of shaking his head and feeling oddly dizzy for a few seconds, he suddenly released an Earthquake and caused the ground to shake rather violently.

Garnet tried to avoid the attack once she realized what was happening, but she still took a good chunk of damage before the attack stopped. She was breathing with her mouth, trying to avoid panting but the adrenaline was making her do so anyway. The Purrloin suddenly cried out in the direction of the Meganium; she was using Snarl, which would lower his Special Attack if it hit. She almost purred when she completed the attack, but instead stood at the ready to keep fighting.

And indeed, the Snarl hit the Meganium and caused him to cringe a moment from the attack. Shaking his head a little, he dealt out a Razor Leaf towards the dark cat pokemon not willing to give up that easily. The battle seemed far from finished, indeed.

The dark feline was struck by the razor-sharp leaves and was knocked back a few steps. She stepped forward again, nowhere near giving up, and growled softly as her claws began to take on a shadowy aura. She suddenly lunged at the white Pokemon with a Night Slash, clawing at his face and neck with the glowing black claws.

The Night Slash did a good deal of damage causing the Megaium to cringe greatly. However, after a moment, he recovered from this and shook his head slowly. Forming a Reflect, he raised his defenses a bit before forming an Ancient Power and attacking once more. Ah yes, not bad but still much to see roamed the mind of the large grass type.
