This whole place was covered in a disgusting mass of insect thread. He reached a cautious hand out to touch it and found it to be incredibly sticky. The man struggled to get all of it off. "Ugh!" He grunted in disgust then turned to his group of pokemon. The two fire pokemon, Lava and Adena were there basically to as Seth said "fuck shit up" whereas the shiny beldum Zena was out only to get some experience in. Seth was anxious for her to evolve; as a Beldum she wasn't very useful. Tackle and takedown got very old after a while. The Heatmor and the shiny Fraxmander had become good enough friends and were excited to fight off some bugs together. Zena was always scrambling for a fight and she resented the fact that her trainer thought her weak, <I'll show him..> She muttered quietly. Seth pointed to the thick web in their way, "Lava and Adena use flamethrower. Once they're done, Zena you go in for a take down." The fire types obeyed and sent a stream of flame in the direction of the obstacle. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

[Caden Bunny]

As the flames eat away at the flames, something was shuffling behind. Suddenly a Venipede comes flying through the smoke from the flame with a Steam Roller Attack, aiming to hit the ones who shot the fire. It already seemed a bit weakened since it had been hit by the fire, but now it wanted revenge!

There was a Metapod hanging up on the very edge of the web that was still left. A Cascoon was hidden in a little corner, hoping that it wouldn't be seen. Very far off, what looked like a Weedle stabbing at the ground was seen. It looked rather intent on getting stronger. Maybe it just wanted to evolve! That seemed to be it for now.

Zena and Lava however were able to dodge the rolling venipede before it ran them down. It seemed the poison type had been right behind the web and was now angered by their actions. This only amused the trainer who ordered his pokemon to retaliate against the assailant, "Zena, use zen headbutt." After hearing his command, the silver beldum rushed forward using the psychic attack. After she attempted to hit the venipede Seth continued speaking, "Adena, use inferno on the venipede and Lava use heat wave on all the bugs." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

[Caden Bunny]

The Venipede was ready to attack again when it flinched and was hit by the Headbutt. It got ready once again but was hit by the next attack and was left lying on the ground silently. It.. really didn't last long.. did it? The Heat Wave just made sure it couldn't get up and finished it off. The Metapod was hit by the Heat Wave and fell from the ceiling. It hit the ground and cried out in pain. It then used Harden in an attempt to stop the pain. The other pokemon had been in the corner so it was safe. Well, using fire pokemon on bug pokemon really wasn't fair, was it? They didn't stand a chance.

Fair, to him, was being able to dominate your opponent in any way you can. Of course, cheating is cheating, but using type advantage is just strategy. He was hardly surprised when the venipede went down in one turn, in fact he had already gotten out a spare pokeball before his pokemon's attacks had even landed. Seth tossed the red and white ball down at the bug type carelessly, for the moment at least the venipede was useless. Once it evolved, he might battle with it seriously. As for the other pokemon, Seth would let his three partners deal with them on their own. "Everyone, attack whichever one you'd like - take your pick!" The shiny Beldum was the first to take off in the direction of a wild pokemon; she zoomed toward the weedle with the force of an iron head attack. Next came the Heatmor who chose to use to attack the metapod with an aerial ace. Lastly, Adena shot a lazy looking fire pledge toward cascoon. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Venipede was drawn into the pokeball rather quickly, and after a few seconds, it rang in capture.

Gender: Male
Ability: Swarm
Personality: This Venipede is a rather determined if somewhat weak pokemon at least at the moment. He daydreams quite a lot about what he could be and sometimes forgets that he is not fully evolved yet causing him to overreach himself quite a lot. He likes to think that he's a ladies man but always comes off as vain and stuck up.


The Weedle was hit by the Beldum's attack and stared rather stunned for a efw seconds. Ow..... wait...what just happened? He... couldn't remember ._.;;;;. Looking around now with a horrid case of amnesia, the small pokemon began to panic and flail in fear and confusion. The Aerial Ace slashed straight at the Metapod and caused him to faint, sadly. The Fire Pledge did quite a bit od damage on the Cascoon, yet she managed to stay conscious at least. After a few seconds, she simply formed a Harden.

He hardly needed to lift a finger for them to defeat the small bug types. There was no strategy in what they had to do, so the trainer was left to relax for the moment. Once again, the shiny Beldum rushed forward in front of the others to finish what she had started. Zena used a less powerful attack this time, choosing to go for a headbutt on weedle. Meanwhile, Adena encouraged Lava to battle the cascoon. She had better things to do...Like take a moment to sunbathe. One must have a nice complexion to be beautiful, neh? The Heatmor shrugged, more or less indifferent to the situation. He stuck with the same move aerial ace, and targeted the surviving cascoon. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Weedle was hit again by the Beldum though a different move. Falling back startled, the small creature hit the ground and fainted. The Cascoon was hit by the Aerial Ace and fainted after that.

That hadn't been difficult in the slightest, he didn't have to do anything! The trainer found himself hungry for a real challenge and hoped that he would find either a powerful bug pokemon or a powerful bug trainer within the webs of the hive. "Come on, fellas. On we go." The trainer motioned with his arm for his pokemon to follow. Seth walked onward, trying to avoid touching the sticky white material as much as possible. His three pokemon dutifully followed him, the shiny beldum charging at the netting of web and as a result getting covered in it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

As one moved through the thic webs, it only seemed to grow thicker and thicker. A large tree could be seen not far off, and at the base of said tree, a Swadloon appeared to be staring rather deeply at the tree as though lost in thought on it for some reason or another. A Shelmet was wandering around rather slowly and didn't seem to even notice the Swadloon he was passing.

"You guys do whatever you want with those two bugs. Zena, you keep up the good work and go for it." He encouraged his pokemon with a lazy smile while scratching at the back of his neck. Being around this many bugs made him feel oddly..itchy. The shiny Beldum seemed to nod her body slightly in recognition of her trainer's wishes. The silver steel type rushed forward toward the shelmet using an iron head attack. The two fire types did something similar to rock paper scissors and decided after a few moments that Lava would take the Swadloon and Adena would share the Shelmet with Zena. The Heatmor let a large inferno break from his narrow mouth directed at the grass/bug type. Adena waited for the shiny Beldum to be out of the way before using fire punch. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The Swadloon was startled upon being hit by the fire attack and fell over confused and in pain for a few seconds. Forcing himself up, he turned and looked extremely angrily at his attacker. Forming a Payback, the grass/bug type retaliated. The Shelmet was hit by both attacks and fainted upon the second contact. Ack. That hadn't been strong at all..........
