x3 SG is evil. If you HAD to pick, life or death, what is your FAVORITE Eeveelution?
SG is boring: hers is EEVEE. x'P Specifically if Shineh. :3 (Actually, yes, my favorite ice cream IS vanilla too. *SHOT* x'3)
As for an actual EeveeLUTION, it is Leafeon, hands down. x3 They've all vied for the spot at some point excluding only Jolteon (who I've always liked, just never most), but as time has gone on, Leafeon has just pulled further and further away from the pack. :3
x3 Using my BEASTLY female Leafeon as a (and at times "the") main team member in HG probably helped this, as well as realizing it learns Leaf Blade, which is a fav attack of mine. :3
Of course, all Leafeon's canon art blows excluding back sprite and MD/HGSSmini sprites, the latter of which is still debatable to some. x3 But it IS epic I tell ye<3 No matter how bad they do the sprites.

D8 ack... evil. xD To chose is terrible, but I shall anyways. I like Espeon the most as an Eevee evolution. My first actual pokemon game where I really focused on the Eevee evolutions was Pokemon Colosseum where you start out with an Umbreon and an Espeon. I liked them both, but Espeon always struck me as my one hit KO pokemon (especially with the move psychic). He could knock out one of the pokemon in a double battle with ease. My Espeon on there was also the first to reach level 100 (despite the fact that when we first took on Admin Dakim we were totally unready for his high level Entei x.x;). My second fav would probably be Umbreon since dark moves are just plain awesome.~
Off on a random note (but not really random since we're talking about Eevee evolutions), do you guy ever thing we'll see more Eevee evolutions? I've seen a lot of fan-art for other Eevee evolutions including a Ghost-type, Dragon-type, and Flying-type. I think it would be really cool, but I'm not sure if the makers would go for it.

Umbreon = FTW then in a close second is Glaceon, and then Vaporeon. I specifically like the Shinies... except Shiny Vaporeon Purple Vaporeons are not good. But really... Blue-ringed Umbreon? PWNage! And as for Jay's question. I sure as hell hope they make more eeveelutions. We DO need flying type, ghost type and dragon type Eeveelutions. As well as a bug type

o.O I wonder what the bug type would look like .___. *is trying to imagine but usually uses visual references* Ground-type Eevee evolution would be cool, lol.

I'm predicting there will be at least one new Eeveelution in Generation V...at the very least, if there isn't, I'll be very surprised. Meanwhile, here's one of my favorite drawings of what one for each type could look like (plus the already existing ones in the artist's style). Some of them look pretty sweet if you ask me. As for my favorite...I'd have to say Glaceon. Dunno why...just is

The problem with many fake Eeveelutions is that people think they can say "Oh well it's this type" and that's good enough. I'm sorry, but if your Bug has big wings, it would be Bug/Flying. (Existing bugs which don't do not disprove this, as they are those such as Venomoth or Heracross where a DIFFERENT second type overrode the Flying. They STILL aren't pure bug, that is.) Likewise, Flying-types.. There exactly two ways to obtain a pure Flying-type: by giving Arceus a Sky Plate or by hitting Kecleon with a Flying move. Both are temporary and affected by outside sources. Because the thing is, if they EVER stay on the ground, they're part Normal if nothing else. :3 SG has seen one or two other people who came up with the same idea separately, but assures you it's just a 'great minds' incident. There is only ONE way to do a Flying Eon that she has discovered. It's theme? FLYING FOX~<3 ;D Confused? Google it. A "flying fox" is a type of BAT! Certainly it's hard to argue that IF there were any pure Flying-types, it would be the Zubat line or now Koromori, if they didn't also exhibit Poison and Psychic traits. They don't HAVE feet TO land, excluding Golbat's if you can call those feet, and even those are used to grasp stalactites and the like. ^^ x3 SG discovered bats during a convo about flying 'mon. Then~ Original concept drawing by Ryua of dA: Then going over in paint by SG: (And a doodle to show where it was going with wing structure: ) x3 It proceeded to be touched up slightly and recolored about 23812981 different ways by various members of my site. x3 Eventually, my friend Rywhite made a loose-ish sprite with one of the schemes: ^__^ So yeah. ... x3 Even this is pushing the Normal/Flying boundaries, honestly, but have you seen a more plausible and oddly appropriate (like this one being a "flying fox", that is) concept? ;D =============================== As to whether or not I think we'll actually GET anymore? It's almost certainly a no unless they break their pattern. You see, thus far all Eeveelutions have been only of "special" types. (Back in the day when all Fighting attacks were Physical and all Fire were special; those 'special' types. This continued even when the split mechanics came in, though.) Now, the only type left is Dragon, and it is both very rare and would break their other trend of releasing Eons in sets. D; So yeah. x3 Which sucks, because my friends and I came up with a pretty badass Dragon Eon as well. [Sprite by Rywhite and myself]. (Design by Ryua and myself, with S-shaped horns suggested by Nami the Werefox.) ... Why do I think this one's better than the link Vale posted? Easy. It has four legs. (Similarities are purely coincidental though, heh. x3)

I'm gonna go with umbreon :3
And, although your argument is quite convincing and good SG, I'd have to disagree with you. I think that they could easily push out more solitary type evolutions besides just the dragon. It wouldn't be too hard to do a steel type that's just steel, it could look a little funky, but you never know. I can even see a ghost type being easy to make, like a floating dog spirit perhaps.
The only thing I see them having a problem with is coming up with the ways to evolve the eevee into these new types.
But then again, you never know. All we can do is sit back and wait to see what they make for us.

You didn't hear me, hon. I did NOT say it would be "hard". I said it would break their current trend. They COULD, and they may. Just the fact that it would do so DOES lower the odds a bit, that's all. x3 At any rate, with the glory that is location-based evolution, all they have to do is keep finding excuses to make areas in new regions special, lol. Though I'm sure even more new methods of evolution will be introduced we haven't thought of as well. Heck, perhaps even "transfer from an old game to Black or White", and perhaps having the separate games have separate effects even, lol. They could do anything.

Oh, but I did. >__> I didn't mean it like that, though. What I referring to with that comment was the making the single element evolutions, rather than like, the bug type being bug/flying... Did that make sense O.o
That's true, but I'm sure they want to make it available to both games if its event/location based, like they did for Glaceon and Leafeon. Who knows, maybe they'll make new stones o:
We have no clue about the majority of the new pokes, so the possibilities are limitless at this time, like we have our first electric/dragon type with Zekrom, whom I will admit, looks pretty BA. But with the new generation, maybe they will break their trend. They already are with the fact that we have our first female professor, and the characters that we play are in their older teens this time around.
So who knows. Let's just hope that whatever they come out with looks good or at least... better than some of the things already released... >_>;

If they DID make multi-type Eeveelutions, Eevee would be dead. '^^; The entire POINT of Eevee has always been to be the sheer and utter embodiment of any singular element, so.. Heh. ^^ But nah! That's not what I meant with the transfer thing. Like, when transferring a Pokemon from a 4th gen game to a 5th gen, it could be like a mutation of Trade Evolution. And they COULD even go a step up from that, and have one or more types of Pokemon Branch-evolve depending on WHICH game they were uploaded to, a different spin on "Version exclusives". ;P I don't PREDICT it or anything. xD It was just the first kinda interesting possibility that popped into my head earlier, lol. ... xD And actually, while no, we don't know the "majority", we DO know around a third of the upcoming species already, lol. Following trends, there shouldn't be any more than ~150 tops. And we know something like 45 now, right? So.. yeah.

O___o Since when have we known that many? Last I checked, there were less than 15ish posted. ... Where are theeeyyyyy, Ryuu wants to see D:
Who knows. If they really want to make more eevee evolutions, they will find a way. One way or another. We can only hope for more ^.^ Eevee is similar to Arceus in a way just... less jacked. LOL! Thinking of it that way, I don't see why they wouldn't continue on and find ways to make more singular element eevee pokes.
Hm, that could be kinda interesting. GameFreak always seems to come up with interesting ideas. >__> Watch them come up with an online shop or something where you can buy pokemon and other items from other players. rofl.

x3 Nah, that'd be too interactive and close to the MMO we want, lol. xD And you haven't checked in a LOOONG time! Here you go, honey. x3 serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon.shtml'xD; I did miscount and it's like 35, but still. We know at least a fourth if not closer to a third. :3

LOL, Jerks xD T hey need to make a game with ALL the regions in it. That would be epic. But of course, GameFreak doesn't care about that... D:
O.o Oh my gawd. The majority of the ones that I havent seen yet are horrible, horrible fail D< The only ones I really like are shimama (It's nice to finally have another horse), Wooguru, Zorua, Zoroark and Zekrom.
I really can't get passed that thing on Reshiram's crotch... >___> and mamepato looks too much like a friggen pigeon for me to like it...

My favorite is vaporeon. I love water types and I love the color blue so yeah. Espeon, umbreon, and glaceon come in second or third. They're all tied pretty much.
Oh SG I remember that dragon eeveelution. So badass :]

Umbreon for the win. lol. It not only looks cool, but it has the power to back it up.

.. xD I don't know what Umbreon you've been using, but they're actually extremely DEFENSE-oriented with very MEDIOCRE attack strengths and for the most part low to moderate strength moves, heh. x3 Unless you meant tanking = power, of course.
