Ghost-types. That was what Riku was on the prowl for in this place, this large, echoing place that she had decided to peruse while on her quest to.. well, she didn't quite need to 'catch 'em all', but she did have a fondness for the creatures, so maybe she should try to catch all of the Pokemon? Meh, maybe just worry about what diversity she could add to her team for now. What she was actually stocking her team up for, though, she wasn't entirely certain. Maybe just to prove herself as she had in previous regions? Or maybe just for the hell of it? Only Arceus knew anymore, but He didn't seem to be talking..

Floating around a tree near Riku, a Sigilyph appeared to be more or less wandering rather aimlessly. She was bored, and it seemed that floating around was better than doing nothing at least to her. A Linoone could be seen farther off scratching at a tree and looking up into it worriedly.

Riku almost went towards the Linoone, but the Sigilyph caught her eye. What a strange-looking Pokemon that was! She wondered what type or types it could possibly be.. Flying, obviously, but maybe something else? She absently wandered towards the odd Pokemon, staring intently at it and still pondering.

The Sigilyph seemed to stop when her eye caught sight of the human. Her mind plagued with interest, the Sigilyph floated towards the woman and stared at her rather deeply for a few seconds. Hmmmmm I wonder... can you hear me? the Sigilyph projected through her mind.

The lady looked shocked momentarily but quickly recovered and nodded, then realized that she should say something back. "Yes, I can hear you." she said. Must be a Psychic/Flying type, then.. not bad, not bad at all~<3 she thought, then wondered if she - the Pokemon, the voice in her head had sounded female - could also read her thoughts.

The Sigilyph nodded her 'head' a little and then seemed to draw a bit closer towards the woman more or less growing in interest. Well now~ It had been a while since she had reached out to someone and they hadn't quickly run away afraid of her. After a moment, she nodded again. Ah.... and you are not scared? she asked after another moment growing more and more intrigued by the second.

"Well, to be fair, you don't appear as if you could or would devour me, and you seem to be friendly so far, so.. nope, not afraid." To be perfectly honest, Riku had seen far, far scarier than this Pokemon. She had been a part of Team Aqua a long while ago, after all, and she had caught a glimpse or two of Kyogre during her stay with them. That had been fairly shudder-inducing, but the legendary Pokemon had been sleeping, so perhaps if he'd been awake..
Anyway, Riku cocked her head. "Are most people scared? Perhaps it's because you speak in their thoughts.."

The Sigilyph was quiet fro a few seconds then slowly shook her form. Most are afraid.... even when I don't speak.....They see me and run............... she stated rather quietly as she dished out these thoughts. She had already come to the assumption that she was simply scary in appearance and could do nothing more on that. However, having someone that wasn't terrified of her made her feel... well.. rather nice, really.....

A Pokemon that scared people by just its looks.. Riku just didn't see the scary aspect of this particular Pokemon, but she did see that a scary looking Pokemon would be quite useful..
"I'm so sorry.. that must be terrible." She pondered a way to get the Sigilyph to join her team without a fight, but came across only one; sly conversation.

The Sigilyph seemed to look at the girl and was thankful for the words. Thank you....... she answered back after a moment. This woman didn't seem so had... well... not bad at all, really. What are you doing in the Temple? the Sigilyph asked honestly curious.

The Sigilyph blinked rather slowly. Ah... This human... was a trainer then... interesting... very very very interesting.... Ah... I see. I see.... she answered nodding her 'head' in thought. You are a trainer then....... do you dream? Well......that was a mildly vague question, yet the Sigilyph hadn't quite realized that yet.

A rather deep embarrassed blush hit the face of the Sigilyph, and after a moment, she rephrased her words. Um... what do you dream of doing in the future? she explained. Something beyond a pokemon trainer, or no?

Nodding a little at the woman, the Sigilyph seemed to like the answer. Yes... she liked it quite a lot... It seemed rather nice to just be able to go with the present. After a moment, she looked a tad timid but then slowly forced herself to look at the woman. That.... is good...actually.... she answered back giving an odd smile of sorts.
