It was much taller than he had imagined, Aerial Tower. He had been meaning to come here for awhile but just things never let him. Though after that happened, everything changed. He wasn't the same anymore, he needed to prove to himself he was more than just a pathetic excuse of a life-form. People close to him kept on dying, maybe he was the reason? Maybe God just didn't want him to get close to anyone? Well whatever the reason it was, he had now broken up with his girlfriend and was on a journey to train himself to become unbeatable.
If he was unbeatable then he would be able to save everyone, yes? He would be able to protect people, and prove to himself his worth. Then maybe she would take him back but no, he shouldn't be thinking about that, it wasn't ever going to happen, not after what he did. He regretted doing it, yet what was done was done, he was gone. He just hoped she would find someone who was better than he ever was. He caused her enough heartbreak already.
Shaking his head lightly, Ezio released his Flygon and got on her back. Thinking about such things only caused pain and no growth. "To the top of the tower Fly!" He commanded his Flygon.
Fly nodded and she was off. She knew what had been happening to her trainer and why he acted like he did but she still necesarily agreed that his decisions were right. She missed Elayne and didn't really like this new Ezio too much, none of his pokemon did really but they were getting used to it, he was their trainer, they would stay with him. Fly kept quite though, just doing what her trainer commanded. She had seen her trainer cry at night and she just didn't know what to do. She had never seen him cry before, it was all so strange.
Landing at the top of the tower, Ezio thanked his Flygon as he returned her to her pokeball. Now to find some pokemon to either catch or train his pokemon? Well he could just do both at the same time anyways. Looking around, he tried to spot any pokemon which would be good enough.

Flying around the tower was a flock of Pidgey. They were playing happily and paying no attention to the human who just recently flown up the tower. Perched on a small ledge on the tower was an annoyed looking Murkrow. She had been trying to get some sleep but the Pidgey's were being rather loud. If the Murkrow wasn't out numbered she probably would have attacked the Pidgeys by now.
At the very top of the tower sitting in the middle was an Xatu sitting perfectly still. He almost looked like a statue sitting on the top of the tower. He's eyes were open but it was hard to tell if he was paying attention to his surroundings or not.
Inside the tower was a short, rather fat, Vullaby huddled up in some crimpled papers. It was fast asleep and hadn’t heard the human or anything else for that matter.

Running a hand through his hair, Ezio glanced about at the scene around him. A small smile was brought to the face as he spotted the Pidgeys, the Murkrow, the Vullaby and the Xatu. The Vullaby appeared way too peaceful for him to try and battle and it really, a Mandibuzz didn't interest him all that much. He already had a Pidgey and it would be better to just train and evolve it into a Pidgeot first than to catch new Pidgey, it probably won't do good for it's self esteem. A Murkow he had owned once, Ezio traded it away. He won it from a battle with an old friend of his, he wondered what he was doing nowadays?
However the Xatu in the middle was very much interesting to Ezio. Walking towards the psychic-bird pokemon, Ezio wondered how it would react. Pokemon were much too diverse in their personalities to know for sure. A normally docile species could have its one or too bullies. Stopping at around 2 meters away from the Xatu, Ezio stared at it as he crossed his arms and remained in silence. What to do now?

The Xatu continued to sit there quietly making it extremely hard to tell if the bird pokemon was paying attention to the human or not. It hadn't moved a muscle even as the wind blew through it's extraordinarily well groomed feathers. If one looked very closely to the Xatu's eyes they would notice that the bird was actually looking up to the sun. That wasn't much of a surprise as it was often told that the pokemon liked to watched the sun as it saw into the past and future.
Truth was, he had noticed the human draw closer and he was keeping a very close eye on him. However, he would not acknowledge the human unless he did first. He felt himself to be fair too intelligent to waste his time with an inferior human.
