Espeon simply stuck his nose up in the air when the human claimed he was missing a good battle.
"Shin!" The Shinx called out when Adain suggested some attacks to use. First she began to use the charge, filling her body with electricity. The more the electricity charged the more sparks began to fly from her tail.
"Shapedo, use crunch." The thief commanded the shark pokemon. The Sharpedo went straight for Shinx, latching onto her back. It had caused her let out a cry of pain before she let out her Discharge. Electricity went everywhere and the poor shark pokemon got hit by the bulk of it. By the time the electricity died down the Shapedo had let go of Shinx and was laying on the ground knocked out. Shinx was a little hurt from the crunch attack, but she was still standing.
"Ugh, darn." The thief complained as he returned the Sharpedo and took out another pokeball, "I'm not going down that easy. See if you can handle this!" He tossed the pokeball and a Sceptile appeared. Shinx was rather shocked to see such a big... scary... mean... looking pokemon. She slowly backed up before suddenly running and hiding behind Adian. it appeared she was too afraid to battle the Sceptile. Espeon was still refusing to fight. He would fight, but not the thief. It seemed the rest would be up to Adain.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love And so the Shinx executed her attack brilliantly and VERY successfully! Though she was hurt, she knocked out the Sharpedo faster than Aidan expected her to. One hit and Sharpedo was knocked out, but it wasn't over. Soon, a Sceptile was released. Aidan was sure she could handle the fully evolved Pokemon, but...She wasn't so sure of herself. She hid behind Aidan's leg. "It's okay. I know he's kind of big." he admitted...But who would take him on? Any of his Pokemon could. Even Naota would enjoy the challenge, but then again...That Espeon was still there.
Aidan gave the Espeon a huge grin and said, "Want to change your mind? Or are you too scaaared?" he taunted, but how well would it work on the rare Eevee evolution?

Espeon glared at Aidan for a moment when he asked if he was too scared to take on the Sceptile. He wasn't afraid of some over sized lizard. If anything he was too good to be fighting such a pokemon. Once again the Espeon stuck his nose in the air, "Esp" He said which meant, <It's not worth my time>. It seemed the Espeon had no intentions of helping Adain with the thief no matter what Adain said.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Espeon sure was difficult, but it wasn't over yet. "Oh, really? Because you're so important, right? Well, if you're so good, then stick around. I'll battle you myself when I'm done with this guy. Aidan challenged the Espeon.
He drew a Pokeball from his bag that held his secret weapon. Though he was a water type, he'd be perfect for battle. The Pokeball was thrown, releasing Naota, the Feraligatr. He appeare to be ready for battle from the start. "Ice Beam!" Aidan instructed, but Naota was way ahead of him, releasing the cold beam as Aidan spoke.

Espeon kept it's nose up in the air even as Adian taunted him. At least this human was starting to understand a bit through that tiny brain of his. Yes, Espeon did think he was important. More important then human in any case.
"Detect, Sceptile." The thief comanded, as a sparkle seemed to shine in the Sceptile eye and he jumped out of the way of he Ice Beam. "Now, Leaf Blade!" The Sceptile jumped again, this times towards the Feraligatr. Half way through the jump he turned to hit the Feraligsatr with the glowing, sharp leaf blades on his tail.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Aidan watched closely at the Sceptile's attack, knowing full well that any grass moves landed on Naota would result in his loss. He knew just as well that Naota knew several ice moves to defend himself against such opponents. Though Ice Beam missed, it was really just to test what Sceptile could do. Now, he was coming at the water Pokemon with a Leaf Blade.
"Agility and Ice Punch!" he shouted. And then, with surprising speed, Naota took a quick step back, turning his body to narrowly dodge the Leaf Blade, only to use that same speed to turn completely around, aiming a frost covered fist at the Sceptile's face. Agility was Naota's only way of expressing great speed on two feet.

The Sceptile hadn't had time to dodge or block the attack from Naota's attack. The blow to the face caused the Sceptile to fall back dazed for a moment. However the battle seemed far from over.
"Use Frenzy Plant Sceptile!" The thief yelled out. He knew the attack would be powerful but it would leave Sceptile defenceless the next turn. Sceptile Put his hands together quickly and just stood there. Or at least it looked like he was just standing there. Just above Naota an image of a large tree was appearing and with in moments it's was crashing towards him.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Frenzy Plant? What was that? Why had nothing happened, and why was a giant tree-OH GOD A GIANT TREE WAS FALLING! Aidan, as well as Maple and Sour Patch gasped while Naota looked around confused. "SURF NOW!" Aidan said in a panic.
And then, just as Sceptile had done, Feraligatr clapped his hands together, followed by a quick leap backwards as a wave came crashing toward Naota and Aidan from behind the robber and Sceptile. Everyone...Would most likely get wet at this point. Naota was surprised to see a tree floating in the water where he had been standing. Was THAT Frenzy Plant? A random tree falling from the sky?

Sceptile couldn't do anything about the wave of water that rushed through him. The Frenzy plant attack had taken too much effort and thus left him defenceless. It seemed it wasn't just the Sceptile that had been knocked out by the surf attack either. The thief was now laying on the ground rather dazed from attack as well. It seemed even though he had one more pokemon left he wouldn't be battling anymore.
Shinx had held onto Aidan's pant leg the entire time. It seemed she was rather afraid of the two bigger pokemon. Espeon on the other hand had avoided the surf attack completely by hiding behind the wall. He simply watched as the water went past him. Now that the thief was out of the way it was time for him to step up and battle this human. So, with a rather confident walk, the Espeon stepped up to Aidan and waited for the battle to begin.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Now that Aidan's legs were wet, he could really feel the chill of the night air. Even more surprising than any chills, was the fact that the robber was knocked out! "....I guess we win, huh?" Aidan assumed as the robber made no movement.
That meant it was time for the battle between Naota and Espeon. Naota, having a similar personality to Espeon simply sighed, giving him a look of dissatisfaction. He awaited Aidan's command. "Agility and Shadow Claw!" Aidan instructed.
Slowly and briskly, Naota got down on all fours. He stood still for a short while, before taking off like a rocket with claws bleeding a dark purple aura. As he ran, he crossed his arms in front of his face, throwing them down to his sides as he moved to slice at Espeon.

The Espeon waited for Naota to make the first move. He heard the command from the trainer and knew exactly what to expect. It was odd that the pokemon hadn't moved yet but he readied himself. He knew this Feraligatr was oddly fast compared to most and wasn't about ready to be taken off guard.
The Espeon closed his eyes waiting for the sound of the Feraligatr to move. There it was! the instant the Feraligatr had began to run towards Espeon, the cat like pokemon jumped into the air and let out a Zap Cannon attack towards the spot Feraligatr should have been aiming for. The eletric currents would not only damage the water pokemon but Espeon know it had a 100% chance of paralyzing it as well.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Aidan gasped as Naota's attack missed. With agility, he was amazingly fast, and all Feraligatr were fast on all fours. It should Shocked by this, Aidan didn't even process the Zap Cannon. It struck Naota, causing him to scream out as he was paralyzed. Of course, Naota didn't want it to appear as if he was, so as he stood there, he clumsily moved his foot back, seemingly awaiting Espeon's next move.

Espeon landed on the ground a few feet away from Naota. The electric attack had hit the Feraligatr which meant it had to be paralyzed yet... it didn't look paralyzed. Well it didn't matter. Espeon wasn't going to take any chances on missing his next attack. With a swift movement, he faided into his surroundings as he used a Faint attack. Quickly he faded back into side beside the Feraligatr and went to hit him before fading back out of view. Faint attack was one of the few that never missed.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Naota tried to watch the Espeon closely as it used Faint Attack, but it disappeared from view. When Espeon appeared behind Naota, he hadn't even realized it until he was hit with the attack, to which he growled. In response, he clumsily swung his tail back and forth with immense force; it was the attack known as Dragon Tail. However, he'd be lucky if it was a hit. Aidan sighed, finally realizing Naota was trying to pretend that he wasn't paralyzed. It wasn't exactly easy to FAKE coordination, something Pokemon who can't feel tend to lack.

Espeon had repeated in the same spot he had been in before using the faint attack. It watched as Naota attacked the air with it's tail and began to laugh. As far as he was concerned he had won this battle. Aidan would simply have to bow to his feet and admit that Espeon was by fair superior then any human. Of course the battle wasn't over yet. Not wanting to get close to the dragon tail attack Espeon used a Swift attack. Many sharp, tiny stars went racing towards the water pokemon.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Naota was hit once again, unable to even try to dodge, not that he could anyway. He fell to the ground, still fully conscious. However, Aidan could see he couldn't battle any longer. He withdrew Naota back into his ball. With a sad sigh, he looked from the Espeon to Joltik who happened to be sitting oon his shoulder. She simply grinned, knowing that it was her turn to battle. She squeeled with excitement as she leaped from his shoulder to the field.
Unfortunately for Espeon, he was going to need a lot more than just speed or great hearing to detect Sour Patch's movements. She was such a hyper little bug that it would take too long to really process the sound of her speed very well. Sour Patch would have to be watched very closely...But even then, Espeon would have much more to worry about. "Sour Patch.......Electroweb and Faint Attack! Cover the area!" Aidan instructed.
Quickly, Sour Patch began spitting a thick thread full of electricity, but aiming it everywhere but directly at Espeon. In seconds, the walls and floor of the area were covered in the web to make it just that much harder for Espeon to escape or dodge very far.
Sour Patch then ran toward the opponent, only to disappear, appearing behind the Eevee evolution. However, the bug had her own intentions. Instead of the tradition Faint Attack, she combined it with Bug Bite, going for a strong bite into the Espeon's rear.

Espeon knew he was being trapped in but there wasn't a lot he could do about it. So while the bug was busy laying the electric thread, Espeon's eyes began to glow as he used Future Sight. Right after his eyes stopped glowing he quickly put up a Protective screen to keep the bug from actually hurting him this turn. All he had to do was keep things up for a little while longer and the Future sight would hit.
Sure enough the Protect spell had been a good idea as it turned out the bug pokemon hadn't be planning on actually using the faint attack in the first place. Sadly it caused the Protect to fade away as well. Once again the Espeon closed his his but this time let out a Hidden Power in attempt to break the web that was surrounding him.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love It was as if Espeon was psychic....Well, duh! Maybe that was it, then? Perhaps Sour Patch could use her speed and unpredictability to confuse Espeon. Her webs may had been destroyed, but she still had the advantage. In a flash, she bolted behind a dumpster to plot her next plan. Espeon would have had to pay extra attention to catch her movements.
Aidan waited patiently, trusting Sour Patch to build a strategy they could work with. Perhaps Espeon couldn't read Sour's mind, but paid such close attention to her movements to the point that he appeared to be predicting her moves. In which case, she'd actually have to rely on her brain....Was that hard? She busied her mind around the concept of that, until she noticed Espeon's feet were visible under the dumpster. With a slightly evil grin, she released a Thunder Wave toward the Espeon's feet to slow it's movement and to get revenge for Naota!
She then hopped over the dumpster for an attack. If Espeon was slowed down by Thunder Wave, Sour Patch would have no problem with her usual strategy! She charged forward with X-scissor, deciding it would be a good idea to get in a few strong bug-type moves for effectiveness, and X-Scissor being a STAB would mean double the usual power.

Espeon gave a half grin when the web was successfully destroyed by his Hidden power attack. However that grin slipped away when the bug dashed and disappeared. For a moment Espeon looked around, his ears twitching slightly as he tried to hear where the bug had gone. Unable to pick up the sounds of it's light feet Espeon closed his eyes again and tried to listen harder. That had been a mistake. The sound he heard wasn't the sound of the bugs movements but the sound of electricity quickly racing his way.
Espeon attempted to jump out of the way but he had been too late. Espeon let out a cry when the weak attack hit him. He could feel the electricity run through his body and tighten his muscles causing them to grow stiffer in a paralysation. Due to his Synchronize ability a small psychic shimmer ran across Espeon's body then appeared around Sour Patch in attempt to paralyze the bug as well. It seemed any status ailment's given to Espeon would also be inflicted on the pokemon or item that gave the paralysation, burn, poison or more.
However Espeon's Synchronize didn't save him from the x-scissor attack. He had just enough time to look up before he was hit and found himself tumbling across the ground. He looked badly hurt but because of his stubborn personality he still attempted to stand up. The first couple of tries had failed as the paralysation wasn't helping. Then suddenly his eyes began to glow again and a bright beam of light fell upon him. The Morning Sun attack sparkled around the Espeon as he began to feel much better then a few moments ago. However the morning sun couldn't heal his paralysation. He also didn't have enough time to attack while he was being healed.
Luckily he didn't need to attack. The Future Sight he had used a few turns before finally took effect. It started as a gust in the wind then suddenly a huge blast as the Future Sight began to work it's power.

Aidan Forest Earth.Life.Love Aidan grinned at Sour Patch's cleverness...But neither of them could have guessed that she would be hit with the paralysis as well. Aidan wasn't fully knowledged on Pokemon Abilities, but he did know one thing. Sour Patch was a Pokemon that usually had more accuracy than others, making strong attack easier to land for her.
Even in her paralyzed state, Sour Patch had only a little difficulty standing. Being so hyper, her muscles were used to the tightened feeling, not to this degree, but she had quite a bit of experience. In other words, she was still fit to battle. However, for the sake of the situation, Aidan needed to play things safe, now that Espeon was where he wanted him. "Faint Attack, Sour Patch!" he said cheerfully. Oh, how he loved that Espeon was in a critical state. Proving to him that he was a great trainer would mean that Aidan had come a long way as a trainer in what he considered a short time. To him, if he could prove Espeon wrong, he could prove others wrong as well.
Sour Patch readied her Faint Attack, but not before being blasted into the wall of one of the surrounding buildings by some kind of gust. Assuming it was some kind of freak accident of sorts, Sour Patch continued with her attack, disappearing and reappearing in front of Espeon, bringing her right front leg down, aimed at Espeon's head.
