Earth.Life.Love Maple was quickly getting tired. He had no time to dodge. It would be just one last attack to end this match...God...Why did it have to be a Vigoroth? As the flames rushed toward him, Maple yelled out, exerting his power vocally, as he fired another powerful Solar Beam at the Vigoroth. It collided with the Flamethrower just before exploding in Maple's face, sending him flying back into a wall.
Aidan had just come back with the Elekied to witness the explosion. Almost ignoring Elekid, he ran to Maple's side to see if he was okay. Panting frantically, he examined Maple, only to see that he was okay and on the brink of fainting. Whether the battle was finished or not, Aidan decided to return Maple to his rarely used Pokeball so he could rest. |

The Vigoroth seemed to be huffing, and his entire form rose and shrank as he breathed in an out looking tired. However, after a few seconds, he straightened up and looked sharply at the Elekid. The sudden extreme look of fear that raced over the Elekid made her pale considerably. Suddenly the Vigoroth was moving towards the Elekid, and she found herself quickly running behind Aidan.

Earth.Life.Love Aidan turned to see the Vigoroth coming after him and Elekid. While in any other situation, Aidan would be scared, but he had one secret weapon. Just below Aidan, a Sandile rocketed from the ground just in time to attack the Vigoroth with dig! It was such a ninja maneuver! Aidan had no idea she would be so handy. In fact, her being underground was mainly by chance. She wanted to dig around so...She followed Aidan and Maple underground. She heard all that was happening from underground. |

The Dig hit the Vigoroth, and he was caught completely off guard. Falling backwards, the large white pokemon fought to force himself up. However, as he got up fully, he fell back again. It seemed that his energy had finally given up, and in another moment, he had fallen back again and was fainted. The Elekid breathed out quietly to herself and seemed to put a hand to her heart slowly. That... had been very unnerving........

Earth.Life.Love The Sandile smiled quite contentedly as she landed back on the ground in front of the fallen Vigoroth. She seemingly chirped as she walked off to a spot on the ground that seemed exceptionally soft. Her feet working like a lawn mower, she dug back underground, digging her way back to Aidan, only remaining underground.
Aidan smiled brightly, happy that the Vigoroth could no longer torment the poor Elekid. He turned back around, lightly stroking the Elekid's head. "You okay there?" he said in a bit of a baby-ish tone. |

The Elekid slowly smiled back at the boy and seemed to nod her head a little. <Thanks for the help with ehm....> she started but fell silent when the word wasn't the one she was looking for. Instead of trying to rephrase a single word, she went with a better phrase. <I mean..thanks for saving me>. she smiled rather big then and there.

Earth.Life.Love As Elekid thanked Aidan, he smiled sweetly, only to smile wider when she reworded her thanks. He went in for a huge hug. He was so happy that Elekid was safe. Helping Pokemon and people was what Aidan lived for. To see Elekid's smile brought a warmth to his heart that nothing else could bring him.
He pulled away from the hug slowly, looking Elekid in the eye as he smiled. "Well, I guess you're free to go home....Or you could stick with me. Your choice. I wouldn't want to tear you away from friends or family." |

The Elekid was surprised by the hug but hugged back after another moment. That... had been nice... the hug, that was.... When the boy asked about her coming with them, she found her eyes growing rather big. Being able to... come with... and help out and return the favor and and and.... <Yes!> she said rather quickly before turning an odd shade of orange (rather than red given that she was yellow) and rubbing the back of her head. <If that's ok with you ^^> she smiled.

Earth.Life.Love As Elekid responded positively, Aidan smiled. Elekid would be such a friendly addition to the family! He reached into his bag and pulled out a Pokeball to seal the deal. the green-haired trainer opened it, allowing it to absorb Elekid into it's light. Aidan saw a few drops of rain fall upon the Pokeball. Oh, why didn't he have an umbrella? |

The Elekid disappeared into the red light, and the ball itself seemed to ring in capture rather easily.
Name:
Species: Elekid
Gender: Female
Ability: Static
Personality: Rather quiet but good natured, this Elekid takes things as they come for the most part. She is all but clingy to her trainer but also has full trust in said trainer. Because she was saved from a 'crazy' Vigoroth, this Elekid has quite a lot of faith in humans and her trainer. She dreams of one day being able to speak human and hot just rely on translations of Aidan, though she is unsure of how to do this just yet.
The rain did seem to start slowly, yet in another moment, larger drops of rain were coming hard and fast. Not too far off, an indoor exhibit could be seen. Hm... maybe go in there?

Earth.Life.Love Aidan released Elekid so they could bond as they explored the area....Which would be to explore the area for shelter from the rain. Then a voice spoke of an indoor exibit! Well, how convenient! Aidan and Desirae turned their heads to see what the voice was referring to. It asked if they would enter. "Sure we will! Thank you, mr. narrator!" Aidan yelled as he ran, holding the confused Elekid's hand into the exhibit. |

The narrator, a blonde haired writer who had grown up loving fourth wall mechanics, snorted before continuing to write again. Within the indoor exhibit, it was rather dark and appeared to consist of a large black room. At the very back of the room, a Slaking was snoozing rather peacefully.

Earth.Life.Love The dark brown and blonde dreadlock sporting narrator of Aidan's life lulled at all the fourth wall breaking that took place, but then he serious'd and continued writing right away. Aidan's eyes caught sight of the Slaking right away. He remembered seeing one once long ago. It was a peaceful Slaking...Generous, even...But now, Aidan could only think about how Vigoroth evolved into Slaking. Some how, this annoyed Aidan, but he did, of course, understand that Slaking was still an individual...One who was sleeping. He decided to walk quietly around the exhibit as he tried to slee. |

The Slaking continued to sleep and appeared undisturbed. Farther into the exhibit, a large broken glass area could be seen. A Pansage was hanging upside down from what appeared to be a fake branch in the exhibit. After a moment, he swung and then reached out to grab another branch only to miss and fall on his face. Ouch.

Earth.Life.Love Elekid noticed before Aidan that they were approaching a Pansage that was swinging and failing quite terribly from branch to branch. Aidan, following Elekid heard a giggle emit from the electric type as Pansage fell. Aidan only saw the monkey already on the ground. Poor guy. Aidan walked closer toward the Pansage and bent down to study him closer. "You okay? I thought monkey Pokemon has awesome balance, or coordination, or something." |

The Pansage sweat dropped greatly for a few seconds and sighed outwards before slowly forcing himself up and staring at the boy with a half frown. <Ya... I'm ok...> was all he answered with. In truth, he'd been practicing.. and failure... especially when he had heard that giggle and and and D: ............ugh...... Not even his thoughts were making any sense now were they?

Earth.Life.Love It appeared that the poor monkey was embarrassed, but why? It was obvious he was practicing. He had no reason to feel ashamed for that. "If at first you don't succeed, then try and try again!" Desirae cheered. Aidan nodded in response to her cheering. "Definitely....Or quit and go eat nachos! But no, you should try once more." insisted Aidan, lolling and seriousing with his comment. |

The Pansage blinked in confusion. What exactly was a.... nachos? Erhm ._.; He wouldn't worry about it. However, the encouragement was at least well taken, and he felt a bit better, in truth. Stretching up a moment, he hopped back up into the branch again. <True....> he said to Desirae.
