Favorite Food?

I love cooking and preparing foods (and eating them too), so here's the question: What is your favorite type of food?

I personally like Italian foods (although I can't spell their names to save my life) along with Mexican dishes. I love adding a lot of spices as well as herbs to the dishes and making them have a very strong taste.

8'3 SG likes Chinese and Mexican foods, as well as most any pasta. SG is currently STRONGLY craving Chinese food which we have nothing even vaguely resembling in the entire house unless you count Ramen, which I've been contemplating a good ten minutes now ways in which I might be able to fix it to vaguely resemble a stir-fry/fried rice (except noodles)/something. x'3


:3 SG's favorite thing to cook is "What is it". x3 Because EVERY time, my husband comes in from work or the other room, looks in the pot for about 10 seconds, and goes "...What is it?" To make this delicious dish, you just take one or more types of pasta, generally one or more types of cheese (though not required), and anything/everything else you happen to have in the kitchen that sounds like it would be good together. |D If it EVER tastes the same, you're doing it wrong. x'P

Once, the pasta medley included mustard, brown sugar, and ranch dressing. x3 And it was epic. SG LOVES cooking at random impulse<3

WARNING:

8'3 Never ever combine syrups and bouillon/other strong salts. SG's random dishes actually always come out at least decent, and often quite tasty. ... Excluding one. 'xD; The day I met my husband, just a few minutes before I got a call from my student advisor telling us we should meet (he was to be my math tutor.. yeah, right. x3), I attempted to combine chicken ramen with maple and brown sugar oatmeal.. 8'D And EVERYTHING I DID just kept making it SO MUCH WORSE. I tried to eat it, but when she called and it was decided he and his roommate would be picking me up soon, I was forced to put it in the fridge, and it sat there for over a month before finally my roommates threw it out, because I just couldn't bring myself to LOOK at it again.. x''D

I found out this was just a general rule when not long ago I was fixing random chicken ramen, (which I often add butter and milk to), and thought to try the honey butter instead. 'x3; Fortunately I noticed what a dire mistake it had become quickly and was able to save it, ROFL.

I love most Japanese food, personally. Especially TEMPUUUUURAAAAAA<3

Also Indian food is good, when it's not too spicy. ;-; Damn my sensitivity to spicy foods! Because Indian is SOO. DELICIOUS. OMG. And so much of it is vegetarian as well~ (while I'm NOT vegetarian, I WOULD be if I didn't have problems getting enough protein. Also, I can't stand the taste of beans. x3; So yeah, it's either eat beans or meat... while I'm morally against how most animals are treated, it's easier to put that out of mind than horrible taste xD;;

This is true, but I don't eat ENOUGH of either. Especially eggs. I don't like more than maybe one egg at a time.

But yeah, nuts are part of how I stave off headaches already. I just don't eat enough of...ANYTHING really to cut out anything really. I really oughtn't not eat the foods I don't like just because I don't like them. 8'D;

Also, you has at this moment exactly 808 posts. I find that funny. xD;
