Muffy cooed softly, scooting over and trying to give the spiky-furred creature a hug, despite her better judgement. "Shh. It'll be okay. You don't have to be scared. I know lots of bugs--" She paused for the barest moment. Scarlet was a sadist with a superiority complex, and two new bugs Faith had captured seemed murderous. She corrected herself. "I know one bug who's really nice. Maybe Mr. Nincada just looks scary?"Muffy smiled at the little racoon. "What'd'ya say I walk with you past him? Then, if he isn't nice, I can protect you." The idea that volunteering to bodyguard someone she'd just met was strange never once crossed her mind. Audino were supposed to help people, right? And the little Zigzagoon was just so adorable. Muffy almost wanted to ask Faith to let her keep her. Meanwhile, while the cute and cuddly pokemon were bonding, there were insects engaged in a duel of death. Prism's legs sprawled out to all sides, her mushroom seeming to droop after impact with the Leavanny's attack. It was almost cartoony, and Faith spat a curse as she recalled her prized Parasect, unwilling to subject her to further harm; Muffy's psychic powers would have been very nice right about now. She recalled Champion, too, while she was at it. "It's all yours, Scarlet. Leave her breathing."Scarlet nodded, and silently began a dance of her own. Noone would match a Scyther in speed and grace, as her blades flashed and her clawed feet stomped a primal beat. The Swords Dance was feral, meeting the Leavanny's ballet-esque movements with the grace of a hunter. She then lunged, scythe aiming for plant-coloured exoskeleton. It was a False Swipe, like many of her blows, meant to wound rather than kill, but she struck with no less ferocity. This one would learn to recognize her betters.

The hug was rather soothing, and the Zigzagoon's quills slowly settled on her back hopefully not hurting Muffy now. As the words came from the Audino, the Zigazgoon looked at Muffy with something akin to stars for eyes. Would.. would she really be that kind? Oh wonderful! Wonderful! So wonderful! <Oh thank you thank you thank you!> she all but cried then and there before looking towards the Nincada that was still moving around. A little bit of fear still sparked in the raccoon pokemon, but she was feeling just a little bit better now.
Indeed, the Scyther was faster than the Leavanny and seemed skilled greatly in her own right as fart as the bug/grass pokemon was concerned. However, hat was far from a reason to give up as far as the Leavanny saw it, and thus she retained her smile and continued the dance of her own. As the False Swipes hit her, the Leavanny cringed from the attack but remained standing none the less before forming a Poison Jab with one arm and then twirling her form making to cut the Scyther while Scarlet was still in range.

Muffy giggled a little, blushing a bit at the enthusiastic thanks. She hadn't even done anything yet. "Aww. You're welcome..." She cocked her head at the Nincada, only now really seeing him. "You know...He almost looks a little lost, too," she commented, noticing the way he kept scurrying around. She smiled at the Zigzagoon, releasing her from the hug but still keeping a hand on her. "Ready? I'll be right beside you."The poison attack cut at Scarlet's exoskeleton, and she leaped back out of range, shooting the Leavanny a hateful glare with bared fangs. Unlike some insects, she was not immune to venom. Fortunately, she didn't think she was poisoned, though she'd make sure to have Muffy look at the wound later, after she gave the Audino a solid thrashing for abandoning her swarm to chase after who knew what. For now, she was to add another member to the swarm. She jumped, but this time her wings spread and she shot up, her form blurring and splitting into multiple Scyther with a Double Team, right before they dove down, aiming to slash with another False Swipe and land behind the Leavanny. Let her try to land another of those blows with Scarlet's illusions in play and the dance taking place partly in the air where she couldn't follow. Faith just kept watching. She didn't want to throw the ball too soon this time, as she only had so many. She had to wait for just the right moment.

The Zigzagoon nodded and then slowly walked over towards the Nincada. The wild bug type seemed to stop a moment and then stared ta the Zigzagoon who reflected a momentary look of fear. However, the Nincada was far from attacking and simply stopped major movement all together. <Uhm... my dear ladies, have you seen my bound f berries.. I was sure that it was right here a second or two ago... but then again I have been looking for quite a few minutes too.. but anyways yes have you seen them?> he asked in a somewhat worried voice. The Zigzagoon found herself caught off guard both by the ladies comment and what came after. After a few seconds, she gave Muffy a sideways look of uncertainty.
The Leavanny found herself confused by the Double Team, and as she began to look for the real one, the grass/bug type was suddenly slashed by the False Swipes from behind. Crying out startled, she fell forwards for a few seconds before stepping a few times and managing to catch herself. Suddenly forming a Leaf Storm, the Leavanny retaliated throwing out leaves in every direction. She knew that the consequences of using such a move were monumental, but at that point, she had to get rid of the clones and hopefully do some damage as well.

Muffy blinked at the question, though part of her was quite proud that she'd been right and the Nincada was indeed nice. She looked from the Zigzagoon to the bug, and started to speak. "No, I don't think we--" The shiny Audino stopped, a look of realization crossing her features. "Wait, I might have. My friends and I saw a Leavanny carrying some berries a little while ago. Maybe they were yours?" Not that Muffy liked the idea that the happy, humming Leavanny was a thief, but if the shoe fit... The created storm struck with all the violence of the real thing. False Scyther shattered left and right as Scarlet and her illusion were battered. Faith stepped (or rather, scrambled), behind a tree to avoid getting caught up the flurry of bladed leaves. Scarlet, however, simply kept coming; grass attacks barely harmed a flying insect like her, even ones to ferocious. Scarlet charged toward the Leavanny head-on, not wanting to give her time to recover, moving to slice her with another False Swipe.

The Nincada looked dumbfounded for a few seconds. <I... I don't know ._. maybe...> he finally said unsure of himself in that moment. He had only seen a Leavanny once ore twice while in the area, and it was always that singing one... So then... maybe? ._. He was still unsure. The Zigzagoon seemed to turn her head to one side. <Maybe if we go find it... we can ask?> she tried as her voice got smaller and smaller through the suggestion. .x.'
The Leavanny was exceedingly tired after finishing the heavy move, and she found herself completely open as she took the False Swipes. Shaking her head sharply, she formed a weaker Aerial Ace and charged after the Scyther rather quickly. She still had fight in her! But for how long... that was the question....

Muffy looked at the Zigzagoon and patted her comfortingly as she spoke; she smiled and nodded at the suggestion. "I thought I heard her singing eariler, when I was headed over here. Maybe I can..." She pricked her ears forward, squinted a little as she stared in the direction she had come. No singing, but the sounds she did hear...Muffy's eyes went wide. The sounds of Scarlet's blades was unmistakable, and was that the Leavanny? "Oh, kittens," she squeaked, "I think one of my friends is fighting her." Scarlet was definately fighting something, at any rate, and the idea that she was leaving the Scyther at the mercy of a wild pokemon made her feel horrible. Without thinking, she started waddling toward the sounds of combat. She looked at the Nincada and Zigzagoon, and gestured for them to follow her. "Come on. I'll break things up and my friends and I can help you both out." Because Faith was a nice lady, really, and she'd do it if Muffy asked really nicely. Scarlet tried to avoid the attack, but Aerial Ace was near-impossible to dodge, and she hadn't been in the best situation to attempt it, having thrown herself into the last attack. The flying-type strike cut deep, a bit of green blood seeping from the wound as Scarlet bared clenched teeth and shot the wild Leavanny a furious Leer. She was hurting more than she dared let on; this had to end soon. Scarlet raced forward again for another False Swipe. She would not be beaten. Faith peered out from behind the tree, a number of blade-like leaves sunk into its bark and littered around its roots. She grasped her pokeball, eyeing the battlefield Just a few moments longer...

The Zizagoon nearly jumped as Muffy said something about kittens and fighting. Wait! Someone was fighting a kitten D8??? The Nincada, who had heard correctly, just menatlly sweat dropped a little unsure of what to say to that. As Muffy had started to walk off, both the Zigzagoon and the Nincada had looked at one another rather unsure, yet a half second after, the Zigzagoon was already at Muffy's heels (for being left alone was scary and she'd rather stay with someone who was nice than anything else D8). The Nincada blinked a moment and then followed suit as well mostly because... well... he wanted to find his berries, damn it.
The False Swipes hit again, and the Leavanny cringed a little, yet she refused to give up at that point and was instead shaking her head and forming yet another Aerial Ace in retaliation. This... this wasn't good... she couldn't keep up with the speed....

Another Aerial Ace ripped into Scarlet, green blood dripping across her exoskeleton. She snarled, even as she cringed in pain. Scarlet was tireless, but she was not invincible.
The praying mantis shot forward, her already impressive speed increasing to the point she was nothing but a blur, aiming to barrel right into the Leavanny and knock her to the ground with a Quick Attack.
Then it was Faith's turn. She whipped the pokeball at the hopefully-stunned Leavanny, while Scarlet watched the orb carefully with the hope that it succeeded and the full intent of dishing out more punishment if it didn't.
That was, of course, when Muffy came waddling upon the scene. She waved her arms furiously and shouted, "Scarlet!"
The Scyther rounded on her purple comrade immediately, forgetting the pokeball, fury written on her battered features. "Where have you been?" she demanded, acid dripping from every word.
Muffy stepped a bit protectively in front of the two wild pokemon, even as she held out her hands to let a Heal Pulse wash over Scarlet. "I need to talk to Faith." Scarlet just hissed distastefully in return.

The Quick Attack caused the Leavanny to cry out, and in another second, the pokeball had hit her and drew her inwards. The ball hit the ground and shook several times before finally ringing in capture.
Name: Species: Leavanny Gender: Female Ability: Overcast Personality: Generally a pacifistic unless attacked first, this Leavanny is a rather calm soul on most levels. Music, art, balance, and nature seem to be her focuses in almost everything. She loves to hum and dance and seems to relish dancing in her pokemon attacks when she does attack. In her free time, she likes to draw using her 'hands' and natural colors that she collects from berries.
The Zigzagoon looked fearfully at Scarlet for a few seconds more or less afraid that she was about to be attacked. However, when it seemed that the nurse pokemon and the large scythe bug were simply talking, she cooled a little. The Nincada, who was far from fearful but at least a tad worried here and there, seemed to simply wait and see how the events played out.

Scarlet felt a lot better from the healing move, and she gave a soft hiss, side-stepping slightly and eyeing the pair of pokemon with Muffy with disgust. "You want to talk? Talk. She's over there." She jerked a scythe at the tree Faith emerged behind from as she went to fetch the pokeball. With a sneer, the Scyther added, "Hopefully she has more sense than you do." And hopefully that sense resulted in chasing off or attacking these wild pokemon.
Muffy looked back at the wild pokemon with a smile. "Don't mind her. She's just a grouch." A threatening hiss from Scarlet said otherwise, but the Scyther still made no move to engage the pair without orders. Muffy waddled over to Faith and tugged on her jeans. "...Faith?"
Faith was grinning. She'd caught a Leavanny! And a fighter of one, too. She and that Ariados would hopefully be useful on the job. She blinked and looked down at the shiny Audino tugging on her pant leg. "There you are," she said, not bothering to hide the annoyance in her voice as she sidestepped to pull the fabric out of Muffy's grasp. "What is it?"
"I need to talk to Miss Leavanny right now. I think she'd mighta taken something from my new friend," Muffy explained in a series of squeaks, only the remember at the blank stare she got that this may be a little harder to communicate than she'd thought.
Faith confirmed this observation with the words, "You know I don't have clue what you're saying, right?"
Muffy sighed, then perked up again, determined to help like she'd promised. She pointed at the pokeball and made the shape of a talking mouth with her paw, then pointed at the two wild pokemon she'd brought. Leavanny. Talking. Nincada and Zigzagoon. Leavanny. Talking. Nincada and Zigzagoon.
Faith blinked, sort of understanding. It was tempting to just catch that Nincada, to be honest (and a tiny part of herself that she refused to acknowledge admitted that that Zigagoon was cute and that maybe wanted it too), but Muffy started living up to her nickname of 'Sad Eyes' after the third repeating of motions. The woman sighed and activated the pokeball. "Oh, all right."
The Leavanny appeared, in pain and momentarily disoriented. She looked around, then looked warily at Scarlet, who merely gave her a cold stare. Muffy waddled over and used another of her Heal Pulses, and the grass/bug typed blinked in surprise and gave the sparkling Audino a grateful smile, relaxing. Okay, she'd been captured. That didn't have to be bad, right? Right. Especially if there were more nice pokemon like the purple one. Had to think positively.
She suddenly noticed the Nincada and Zigzagoon, and she looked at them curiously. She thought she recognized the fellow bug type, and she blinked at them. "...Hello?"

The Nincada watched as everything transpired between Muffy and her trainer and seemed to keep a cool air about himself the entire time. However, something deep within him was squirming, and he had to fight the urge to cry out and be frustrated. However, he was far more controlled than that and wanted to believe so. Meanwhile, the poor Zizagoon wasn't about to hide her distress. Instead, as she eyed Scarlet more, she began to twitch and fidget that much more before finding herself shadowing Muffy that much mroe in order to try and hide.
As the Leavanny was released, the Nincada blinked for a moment trying to recuperate from a sudden shock that somehow hit him. <Y-yes hello> he stated. Ah now where in the world had that calm composed air in him gone? Straight out the window and eaten by a Snorlax of course! <I...I was wondering if you had seen my berries, m'lady> he finally managed to get a bit more out of himself as he remembered his manners.
Meanwhile, the Zizagoon looked out from behind Muffy every few seconds wondering... no really praying everything would be alright.
