Rue did a little skip/hop when she finished, and looked at the Hoothoot, pleased with herself. What do we do now?

Shasta and Ashter walked over to a tree and started weaving a streamer between the branches. Shasta seemed to be concentrating on this task, and Ashter gazed around the clearing, looking at all of the Pokemon. She was interested in how these Pokemon were interacting with each other so easily; she had always thought of Pokemon as keeping to their own species, or at lease keeping to their type of animal (birds, fish, etc.).

Jackie picked up the supplies next to the jar, staring at the berries(?) suspiciously. Ah, professor, another secret potion ingredient? The Chemical X to be mixed with the sugar and spice, I presume?

[Jay]

The Hoothoot seemed to put a wing to her chin and thought for a moment. <There are a few more streamers and things we can do-...... oh wait Gothitelle is already doing them with your friends... i guess we just have to wait now ^.^> the small bird pokemon answered back with a light smile on her face. The Gothitelle continued to work rather easily until all the streamers were finished. After a few seconds, she crossed her arms in front of herself gently and then looked back towards the table. 'I think that is it...' she smiled. The Kirlia blinked in a bit of confusion at Jackie's words but finally sweat dropped and nodded a general 'right'. The Ralts kneed down and began to work on wrapping up the jar of berries.

Rue smiled broadly Ok! she said, sitting down on the ground. That was fun!

Ashter finished the last touch on another tree, then backed up to observe her work. Shasta had finished her tree already, and was staring down a piece of grass, head cocked and ears perked. She jumped when the Gothitelle had spoken, however, and turned around to see the finished trees. Looks nice, she said with an approving nod.

Jackie hustled to help the Kirlia, humming a random tune. We have yet to finish. Me my mo mum tee tie toe tum.

[Jay]

The Hoothoot smiled and then seemed to wait a little before hearing a rustling sound not far off. <He's coming! Quick hide and we'll make a real surprise!> she said quickly before making a motion for everyone to hide. The Gothitelle grinned and then moved behind the table and the cake waiting. 'Time for the surprise... he's coming' she alerted the human and her pokemon.The Kirlia and Ralts finished before starting back towards the party. As the Kirlia noticed what was going on, he quickly looked towards the Ralts, and both looked back to the other pokemon. <Quick we need to hide!> the Kirlia stated. The Ralts noded and then ducked behind a tree.

Rue jumped as the Pokemon went crazy, and then ran over to a nearby tree, crouching behind it.

Shasta wasted no time in hiding, and ducked behind a rather large bush next to her. Ashter looked around for a moment, gathering her bearings, before jogging over to the table and kneeling behind it. She wondered how strange this would sound in a book. The little trainer thought about the mystery Pokemon as she and a bunch of other random Pokemon hid. They had just been decorating for a surprise party in the middle of a creepy forest with ominous trees and spiderwebs, not to mention the fact that the girl had no idea whose party she was celebrating...

What came as a quiet Girafarig with a piece of paper in his mouth came walking towards the tale. He kept looking around a tad confused as to what exactly was going on. However, in another second, the Hoothoot jumped out form her hiding place and cried a 'surprise'. The Gothitelle jumped out from around the table and called her own surprise. Next came the Ralts and the Kirlia.

Rue jumped out, too, yelling "Surprise!!" as loud as she could.

Jackie had been working behind a table, but now ran out and yelled "Happy Holidays! May your heart always lead you well!"

Shasta sweat dropped a bit at the Mienfoo, but now rose from the bush and called a cheerful "surprise!", which was followed by Ashter's "surprise!" as well.

[Jay]

The eyes of the Girafarig grew, and after a moment, he grinned and laughed at the surprise. <Thank you!> he called rather loudly and happily. Wow.. so that's why he had been called. Grinning, he trotted over towards the table. <Wow you guys got me good> he laughed grinning. The Hoothoot chirped and flew before landing herself on the Girafarig's head. <We thought you would be!> she smiled. The Kirlia and Ralts seemed to grin to themselves, and the Gothitelle smiled. 'Happy Birthday, Girafarig' she smiled before looking sideways at the girl and her pokemon. 'These are some friends of mine that wanted to come as well' she smiled. The Girafrig seemed to smile and then nodded his head before issuing a thank you of sorts.

Rue and Jackie laughed and ran over to the Girafarig, yelling happily and singing the happy birthday song. Ashter smiled and stepped out from behind the bush, followed by Shasta, who grinned and blushed, hoping no one she knew was here. The trainer and the Mightyena stood in front of the bush awkwardly, watching Ashter's other Pokemon dance around the giraffe Pokemon. Ashter giggled a bit as she told the Girafarig, "Sorry, those two are easily excited."

[Jay]

Upon seeing other pokemon giving him birthday wishes and the like, the Girafarig grinned rather large and seemed to stop his feet in excitement. <Thank you thank you thank you> he stated nodding his head a bit. The Gothitelle seemed to smile to herself and projected psychically what was being stated. The Kirlia spun around and twisted his form about before bowing to the Girafarig who nodded back. The Ralts just clapped from where she was. The Hoothoot called out happily and flew about. It seemed they were all still very excited, heh.
