Rikka watched and wonder if her would climb up to see the veiw. Maybe Maybe not. She smiled as she watched him decide to climb up after her. She did note however that his movements seemed to be fluid for a person who probably didn't climb trees. It kinda of fit him in her mind. Rikka at the back of her mind also noted that he was rather handsome but kept that too herself. She wasn't looking for a boyfriend, she was out gathering info on how to raise different types of Pokemon.
When he finally climbed up to the branch on her right she grinned as she watched the awe flicker in his eyes. Chuckling she looked out at the veiw again herself. "Its beautiful. The benefits of traveling you get to see lovely places then get to go home and tell other people about it." Rikka herself would have lots of pictures to chare with her mother, once she found the house again.
Moon looked at the other Umbreon as she paced then looked up the tree. <Cant you jump?> Watching her worry Moon jumped up to the first branch and about slipped off before she got her balance back. Night quickly followed and had to be caught by Moon. <Come on its easy.> She would help the Umbreon if she slipped. Plus she looked pretty worried over her Trainer. |

 Haii found himself hesitating at Rikka's words and slowly shook his head a bit. "I haven't been home in years now," he stated aloud looking out towards the greenery again. "As soon as I could get out of Agate, I didn't really look back... same with when I left the Orre a year ago," he stated. In truth, Haii hadn't even realized it himself until he had noted it aloud that he had been in Era a year already. How had time managed to get way from him, Haii would never know. It was then that something smacked him in the face, and Haii wondered why he had just been so open about his travels. Well... it wasn't like he had said any stories or anything but it was still a lot more than he was normally used to giving... Rikka's presence was just... easy to talk to, it seemed.
Shadow looked at the two pokemon that had talked to her and then seemed to frown a little before finally breathing inwards. Jumping up to the first branch, the Umbreon's hear raced as she found her legs wrapping quickly around the branch in order to keep herself from slipping off. There... that was one branch @_@. |

Rikka looked over at him as he started to speak. He hadn't been home in over two years? She technically was never far from home. She could always just go visit and had since she didn't have the money to buy her own house yet. "I don't think I'd be able to not visit home every once in a while." One day though she would have a place to stay and raise her pokemon and all sorts of others. She would get her farm and have all sorts of pokemon wild and tame! Smiling she eyes kinda took on a dreamy look as she imagined her farm. Shaking her head she pushed it to the back of her mind. Humming she looked down and watched Moon and Night coax his Umbreon on to the first branch.
Moon chuckled and grabbed her scruff as she landed so she wouldn't fall off. Letting go she jumped up and onto the next branch a little easier. Still she had to catch Night who about slipped off again. <Come on just a few more branches.> |

Haii's eyes dropped a little, and he said nothing for a moment as he considered this. He wasn't actually sure what to say when it came down to it. Ryo had never come home... so Haii didn't. Saiyo.. had lost both of her brothers to their own personal travels when it came down to it, and suddenly Haii began to wonder why he had never thought of how hard it must have been for his younger sister. But... it was silly to think about now, wasn't it? "I have a sister back home," he sighed a little thinking aloud. "And a grandmother I happen to see every once in a while over a phone communicator." He still wasn't exactly sure why he was talking so much... meh...
The Umbreon fidgeted a little but then slowly began to force herself upwards even more than before. She could do this! Right? Right? Right! Just a little further >~< |

Rikka looked over just as his eyes dropped. Uh oh. "I didn't say anything wrong did I?" She probably should think before she said things. Before she could say she was sorry he started to explain what he was thinking. Oh. Did he miss his family? "Well thats good. My mom moves around a lot so Usually if I want to talk to her I have to go find her. She just a bit paranoid." At least his Grandma stayed in one place and his sister maybe?
Moon chuckled at the other umbreon's face.<Come on you can do it!> Night watched and scooted over a bit to give her more room. If she happened to slip Moon would catch her. Moon loved heights and he wasn't quite sure why. |

At the question of whether or not Rikka had done anything wrong, Haii had just shook his head a bit and then listened as she talked about finding her mom. Paranoid? Of what? Haii wasn't sure whether he wanted to know or not... After a few seconds, he looked sideways at her before looking out again. "Of what?" he finally asked more or less not bothering to hold back the question that had come to mind. It was silly to do so.
Something rather determined had worked its way into Shadow, and she found herself nodding and continuing to climb up as best she could. For a brief moment, her form had twitched, and she had been about to slip off another branch, but it was then that she tensed and managed to keep herself from doing so before then proceeding up. She was almost there! |

Rikka breathed out a breath as he shook his head to her question. That was good. She hated making others sad. At his question she grinned. "She thinks someone and I don't know who, is gonna get her and leave me without both my parents. She doesn't wanna do that cause she loves me too much. She almost didn't let me go traveling." She skipped a lot of the story and just gave him the main detail. Sometimes her stories tended to bore people so she didn't want to make him bored.
Moon chuckled as the Umbreon seemed to gather up some courage and jumped to the next one. She was ready to catch her when the Umbreon caught her balance. Chuckling Moon and Night Jumped up a couple more Branches and sat to watch the Umbreon. |

In all truth, the answer left Haii with more questions, yet he was unsure of whether or not it would be rude to ask or not. So... her mom just moves around because she didn't want someone to kill her or something? But then who or what exactly? After a few seconds, Haii breathed out and nodded. "Maybe just of how this country is... there's a lot of tension up here like there is down in the Orre," he commented. However, the Orre had always been in a state of sad and tension. The people there were rough by breeding not by being suddenly thrown into a revolution or whatever the world was going on.
Shadow continued to climb up more vigorously than before and finally made it to Haii in another second. Pretty much jumping into his lap then and there, the Umbreon relaxed considerably there. Haii blinked a moment not having noticed Shadow's climbing previously. However, after a second more, he raised a hand and simply pat the Umbreon. |

Rikka watched him and saw the questions in his eyes. Yeah she had some of those herself but hadn't asked her mom. She didn't want to hurt the only parent she had. "Yeah. Maybe. Well as soon as I have the money I will have my own little farm where the chaos of the region wont matter." Again her mind went back to her goal. She would reach it some how.
As the Umbreon jumped into Haii's lap she chuckled. "Apparently she doesn't wanna leave you." Which was a good sign. It meant her looked after his pokemon good enough that they just loved him. Soon enough though Moon and Night jumped to her shoulder and lap. The Shiny umbreon curled up in her lap and looked out at the view. While the Shiny eevee hid beneath her hair not really wanting to confront the others any longer. |

That goal... He'd remembered her saying something about it beforehand, but what did that really come down to, Haii had to question. Could she really pull something like that off and provide a full sanctuary without leaving the country? Haii wasn't sure... though Agate had always been somewhat of farmland when he thought about it... so then... maybe somewhere down there? He was about to suggest it when Haii found Shadow then in his lap. After a moment, he held her a bit closer and stroked the Umbreon's fur. Steel made a hum sound overhead as though alerting everyone to the fact that he was there too. I don't think I could really leave my pokemon," he sated the thought as it came as an after thought to Rikka's comment. No... he'd never leave his pokemon unless there were other circumstances that absolutely demanded it above all else. "How do you plan to get the money?" Haii finally asked after a moment as he stroked Shadow. |

Rikka went silent as she watched the rain turn into a light drizzle now. Rubbing Moon's ears with one hand and Night's with the other she hummed gently. She wasn't at all sure if she could pull it off, but she hoped with the help of her pokemon she could attempt it. Maybe. Yeah she was sure her pokemon would help her. They were all so great! Well she was still working with the Wingulls.Hearing the skarmory's hum she looked up and smiled.
"I couldn't either. Their my world." At his question her emerald eyes took on a thoughtful look. "Well I guess I have to earn it. I'd probably sell my pictures. One way or another after I'm done gathering my research on the pokemon I will work on saving up some money. So far every time I find my mom I leave a little of what I earned with her. I just gotta figure out other ways." Yeah money was an obstacle she had to get around. For now she would just save what ever she earned. Well some of it. Her pokemon and her had to eat. Dropping her gaze to the ground she thought some more on the subject then looked out at the horizon again. |

Ah.... that made sense... Haii was then reminded of his own chunk of change mostly won by high stakes pokemon battles down in the Orre. He'd made quite a bit of money that way especially in the Coliseums. However, it was then that he remembered seeing a large place like that down south. However, it seemed empty and deserted.... "Has anyone ever used the coliseum down in the south?" he asked not even knowing what the Amphitheater was really called in Era. Shadow shifted a little, and Haii shifted as well to accommodate. |

For now she had to focus on gathering info on Pokemon and how to raise the different species. Though it might be a good thing for her to only pick specific speciees to Breed. Oh well she would just have to make a list later. Though she doubted she could.. Snapping out of her daydreaming she listened to his question. "Oh you mean the Amphitheater. Yeah they use it once a year to hold battles. Though they play for keeps if you lose." Well thats what she got out of it anyways. Other wise she might have entered to see if she was any good. Plus it would have been good experience for her pokemon.
Moon perked her ears up and looked down at the grass. She was comfortable up high and tended to be more relaxed. Sometimes she thought she should have been a flying pokemon.

"You mean as in... if you lose, you lose your pokemon?" he asked. Even down in the Orre he had never heard of something so... well...cruel. People could get their pokemon stolen if they weren't careful, but the idea of a mob simply taking down someone and taking away their pokemon... To Haii, it wasn't right. His hand tightened ever so slightly on Shadow, and the Umbreon who had been listening in breathed in quietly shaking just a little now. Steel, eyes narrowed, and something of a rather interesting hiss escaped from the metal bird. That... that was annoying, he had to say.

Stretching she realized now the rain had stopped and the clouds were slowly breaking apart. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed his hand tighten slightly on his umbreon. Her own nudged her hand slightly making her smile. Rubbing her ears she looked over to her tent. She could see the shadows of Kiki and Cloud inside. They seemed to be talking about something or other. Haunter floated around the tree down and watched the Skarmory.
Rikka shook her head splattering water. Night dug his claws into her skin to keep hold. "Ow Ow Ow okay okay." Keeping her head still Night pulled his claws out and crawled down into her lap so not to repeat that. Cuddling next to Moon he soon had his ears rubbed by Rikka.

After a few seconds, he looked towards Rikka as she started to sound in pain. Upon seeing the reason, he found himself half chuckling before killing said laugh. "Down in the Orre, the coliseums were... are... difficult and fight worthy, but I'd never have to give up my pokemon," he shook his head a bit. "Era's both more peaceful and more deadly," he half chuckled. "I'm not sure... what I'll do when I'm done exploring it all though." He frowned a bit at his own wording and fell silent.

Tilting her head she wondered why he quit laughing. Laughing was a good thing. The best medicine. "Sounds hard and different. The Nobles like to be entertained here." Plus it was just tradition that had made the event happen this year. "You could probably find something you love to do." She would have said settle down but she had a feeling he probably liked traveling. She did too at the moment. It was a way to keep out of the war and she got to learn new things, meet new people and pokemon. Hearing him fall silent she looked over at him.

"It's hard to imagine a life outside of doing what I'm doing now....." he sighed. It meant growing up and getting some sort of 'real' job possibly in a store or something. He didn't want to go to college or earn a medical degree or something of that nature. However, he didn't want to be trapped in one place for a long time either.

"Well if that's the case you could be a traveling something. Um hmm. How about a Traveling battle ground?" Okay yeah her mind had blanked a bit. But as in a Traveling Battle ground she meant maybe like challenging others for money or something. That way he made a living he never had to stay in one spot and didn't he like battling? "Wait do you love battling?" She didn't wanna suggest anything he might not like. That would be a bad idea to upset a new friend. Well she considered almost anyone who talked to her a friend, so shouldn't she call him an acquaintance?

"I thought you could figure that when I asked you to battle the first time," he answered back meaning the first time they had met. After a moment, he sighed and shrugged his shoulders a bit. "I used to battle all day long in the coliseums. It does make good money, but the Orre never had any sort of pokemon to catch outside of sand ones or sometimes imported ones...which is kind of why I came up here..." he stated petting Shadow a bit more. The Umbreon purred a bit and sighed to herself rather happy to be in Haii's lap. "Battling used to be everything to me," he sighed aloud. What did he even mean by used to? Not even Haii himself was sure.
