Milotic? (~Mod~)

Scloud lifted up a rock from out of the water and waved it happily around. He wasn't that excited about getting a Milotic; seriously, what did it matter? But Diana didn't seem about to give up.

"Oh, come on, Scloud," the trainer said as she passed the Tentacool without noticing it. "There's gotta be something around here somewhere. Maybe even an Oshawott or Totodile or something! Like a really cool starter or rare Pokemon! Milotic, too..." She gazed around, but her poor observation skills completely missed the Lombre. It seemed as if the girl would not notice much unless her Pokemon warned her or the object to be noticed was making some sort of commotion.

[Dwebble’s - M&F] ~ [leucistic Horsea - M] ~ [Magikarp - F] ~ [Poliwag - M]

The rock that Scloud picked up apparently didn’t appreciate being picked up! It took a few moments but soon enough two fat, pointy legs, along with a few smaller pointy legs and two, round bubbly black eyes appeared out of the rock. The Dwebble let out a small ‘Hisss’ of sorts.

Swimming in the deeper parts of the water a completely white Horsea with red eyes and a Magikarp were slightly sticking their heads out of the water. The Hoursea would have almost been imposable to see if it hadn’t been for the red Magikarp beside him. They were doing nothing more but chatting and hadn’t really noticed the human or other pokemon. A bit down the shore a small Poliway holding some kind of an odd blue stone had emerged form the water.

Diana let out a little scream as she saw her Dragonite pick up the Dwebble. "Watch out, Scloud!" She then turned and gasped a little at the other Pokemon. She couldn't help thinking how utterly creepy that Horsea was, yet thought it was rather interesting. That Pokemon sure would intimidate some opponents. And she had learned about the power of an evolved Magikarp in a book she had read. Sweet! Diana pulled out her Pokeballs and threw one out.

Scloud made a Whrrr? and uncurled his tail in alarm, moving away from the Dwebble.

An Absol emerged from the beam of red light and looked back expectantly at her master. "Night Slash at the Horsea!" Diana yelled, and Luna started darting in a zigzag pattern towards the Horsea. She waited until she was a few yards away before growling and thrusting herself upon the Horsea, claws unsheathed.

Meanwhile, Diana had motioned for her Dragonite to come closer. "Scloud, use Slam on the the Magikarp!" Scloud nodded eagerly and moved towards the fish Pokemon quickly. The Dragonite finally lunged at the Magikarp, making a roar.

Elvis was feeling very left out at this point, and dove down to the Poliwag. He was planning on hitting the Poliwag with his wing, but was immediately distracted by the Poliwag's stone. Think fast, he said to the Poliwag as he opened his beak to try to steal the pebble. Diana's gonna be so awed!

Diana, caught up in the intensity of the battle, did not notice her bird Pokemon swooping at the Poliwag.

[Dwebble’s - M&F] ~ [leucistic Horsea - M] ~ [Magikarp - F] ~ [Poliwag - M]

The Dwebble let out a small, shreek of sorts when it was dropped, following a ‘plop’ sound as it fell into the water. It seemed the pokemon had decided to run away as it didn’t resurface after the drop.

The Horsea stopped talking to the Magikarp the moment it heard it’s name called out, causing it to turn and look at what was happening. He didn’t fully clue in that he was under attack until it was too late and ended up with a slash from the Absol’s attack. It caused him to cry out in pain as he sunk into the water and began to spit out an odd, murky ink. If something wasn’t done fast it would most defiantly try to flee.

The Magikarp had staied in his spot, watching in confusion as it’s friend was attacked. When it came to his turn of being attacked, the red fish pokemon took the full blow of the Slam attack. He flung high up into the air and landed with a loud splash in the water. Once the splash was over he just laid there, knocked out.

The Poliway, not wanting to give up his stone quickly lifted his tail attempting to use a DoubleSlap attack to frighten or hit the bird away. It seemed the small guy was not willing to give up his blue stone without a fight.

Luna growled as he saw the Horsea sink underwater. She jumped into the water on the other side of the Horsea so to close in and not let the water Pokemon escape. "Night Slash again!" Diana called to her, and Luna lunged forward for another slash. But as she did so, Luna yelled at Scloud to guard them. Or this one will escape.

Scloud swam over to where the Horsea and Absol were fighting and swam over to the water a few paces from them, where Luna had just been. He growled at the Horsea to show that he wasn't going to take kindly to anyone who would try to escape.

Diana pumped her fist in the air as the Magikarp fainted and quickly grabbed a Pokeball. She threw it at the Magikarp, and bright red beams of light from the Pokeball shot out for the fish.

Elvis flew back, hit by the DoubleSlap attack, and he cawed in warning. Then the bird Pokemon stretched out its wings and flew to the Poliwag as fast as he could. He slashed out his wings at the water Pokemon in an Aerial Ace.

[leucistic Horsea - M] ~ [Magikarp - F] ~ [Poliwag - M]

The white Horsea stopped when his path was blocked and looked up at Luna in fear. He then quickly spat out some more of the murky ink and turned around to swim away. He didn’t get far though as the other direction lead to the shore. He had just stopped again when the second Night Slash hit him, causing him to fall over in the water once again. Noticing that the Dragonair was blocking his path, he very slowly the water type picked himself up. Narrowing in anger as it spat a BubbleBeam attack towards the Absol.

The Magikarp disappeared in the beam of red light as it was scooped up into the poke ball. It gave one good wiggle before ringing shut with capture, the light on the button disappearing.

Gender: Female
Ability: Swift Swim - Doubles Speed during rain.
Personality:  This particular Magikarp loves to hear it’s own voice be that chatting to someone, telling jokes, singing or even just talking to it’s self. It is rarely ever see not talking and most likely couldn’t stay quiet for longer that a minute even if it’s life was at stake. She is not a very powerful battler and loses almost all of them right away. It just seems she doesn’t have the heart for it and would rather give up before it even begins. Like most Magikarp, she enjoys jumping and splashing about for absolutely no reason.

Unable to defend himself against an Aerial Ace attack, the tiny Poliwag was hit, making him tumble back a bit, the stone still it’s mouth. Angry that the bird actually attacked him back and unable to use a water attack (Due to the stone in his mouth) the small water type flung himself forward in attempt to use a Body Slam.

Luna dodged the worst of the Bubblebeam but was still thrown back. She angrily shook herself up and at Diana's "Almost there! Night Slash again!", she let out her claws and jumped forward yet again to scratch the Horsea. Scloud watched his companion's work with a nod, not moving but instead staying to block the Horsea's escape route.

Diana grinned as she saw the Pokeball snap with capture. "Yesss." However, she then saw her Starly attacking the Poliwag and groaned. "Elvis, what are you doing," she mumbled to herself.

Elvis was hit by the Slam but whirled around instantly and tried once more to swipe the pebble from the Poliwag's mouth in the bird's beak.

[leucistic Horsea - M] ~ [Poliwag - M]

The Horsea sank into the water, trying to use the field as an advantage. Sadly the water didn’t seem to be deep enough to keep the other pokemon from reaching her. If that Dragon pokemon wasn’t blocking him path… The nightslash hit, sending the Horsea out of the water and closer to the beach. He cringed for a moment but didn’t get up again to attack.

The Poliwag saw the bird pokemon coming for the stone once again and turned, trying to run for it. However, his tiny little legs were not meant for running and soon enough the stone was snatched from his mouth. Yet even as the stone was taken he didn’t give in. Quickly he turned to follow Elvis, yelling at him the entire way.

Diana pulled out another Pokeball from her pocket and threw it at the Horsea. "Come on," she muttered at the capture attempt. She then groaned again at her Starly. "Elvis, stop playing around! Get over here!"

Elvis took to the skies as he finally stole the pebble from the Poliwag. He honestly had no real reason for stealing it besides the fact that Diana might want to see it. He loved teasing other Pokemon and loved to provoke them. Elvis now let out a muffled <squaw> of laughter, muffled due to the fact that the rock was in his mouth. The bird then lowered his beak into his talons as to remove the pebble and instead hold on to it with his feet. This done, Elvis started shooting glances at it as he flew away from the Poliwag and a little further off from Diana. He wondered what it was and why the Poliwag seemed so intent on keeping it.

[leucistic Horsea - M] ~ [Poliwag - M] ~ [Human/Beach Boy - M]

The Pokeball opened with a flash of red light, scooping up the white Horsea. It shook a couple times but eventually it did ring with sound of capture.

Species: Leucistic Horsea
Gender: Male
Ability:  Swift Swim - Doubles Speed during rain.
Personality: He is a rather quiet pokemon who doesn’t like the sun light too much. The sun and immense heat seems to bother his skin and eyes due to having such little pigment. He is a little shy and timid at times but will warm up to anyone who is nice. He isn’t much of a battler and would rather run that fight. However, when forced to fight he likes using bubble attacks over just plain water attacks.

The Poliwag let out a rather loud whine as he began to cry, watching the bird pokemon fly out of range. It wasn’t the stone back! He had been told take good care of it and now it was stolen! The elliptical-shaped stone with its blue appearance and bubble insignias inside had been a gift from his trainer.

“Whats going on here?” A voice rang out as a tall, long red haired boy walked out onto the beach. He looked to be around twenty years old with oval sun glasses, a tie-dyed, beige shorts and flip flops. The Poliwag instantly seemed to recognize the man and began to complain that the Elvis had stolen his stone. The trainer looked up, noticing the stone before looking over at Diana, a rather large smirk on his face. “That there bird belong you?” He asked casually.

Diana smiled as the Pokeball rang with capture before turning quickly at the boy's question. "Um, yeah, that's Elvis." She beckoned for the Starly to come down but Elvis, seeing the boy, stayed up in the air. He glared down at the Poliwag and then started, once again, to inspect the rock.

The trainer looked up suspiciously at her Pokemon. "Elvis, get down here!" She turned to the boy and shrugged. "He's usually better than this, I dunno what he is up to. Is that your Poliwag? I'm sorry if my Pokemon disturbed it. Has to be the center of attention." She sighed up at the Starly now, clearly embarrassed. And Elvis is suddenly ignoring me! Jeez.

Luna and Scloud walked together to their trainer. The Absol went to stand beside Diana, shooting a warning glance at the boy, while Scloud stayed a little farther off. He looked up at the Starly and groaned as he spotted the pebble. Elvis, what are you doing?!

[Poliwag - M] ~ [Human/Beach Boy - M]

The red headed trainer looked up at the bird once more as she apologized for the creatures behaviour, “Yah man, he’s my poliwag. Your Starly stole my Poliwag’s water stone, man.” He claimed as he looked back down at Diana. “But I got a radical solution for ya, man. Let’s have a one on one pokemon battle. You win and you totally get to keep the stone. Sound cool, dude?” He pulled out another pokeball from around his neck in hopes that she would agree to the battle. It seemed he just wanted to have some fun and wasn’t at all upset about the stone being stolen. The Poliwag still looked rather mad though.

"He...he did?" Diana looked up at Elvis with disbelief. "Elvis, get down here now!" She groaned as the bird teasingly floated down to Diana's shoulders and shyly gave her the pebble. "You can have it back, Elvis didn't mean anything," Diana held out the stone towards the man. "I'm Diana. But if you want a battle, sure. I don't mind. I just don't know if I have any use for this stone." After all, the girl didn't have any Pokemon she would have to use the stone to evolve. But if it really was up for grabs, the girl would try, at least.

Diana recalled Scloud and Elvis. She turned to the man and nodded. "Right, I'm ready." Luna turned her head to glare challengingly at the man.

[Poliwag - M] ~ [Human/Beach Boy - M]

“Radical. well lets see what you got, man.” The red headed man claimed as he tossed the Pokeball up into the air. With a flash of red light a large turtle like pokemon appeared. The large Carracosta let out a small cry before setting it’s self into a fighting stance. The trainer than waited to see what pokemon Diana would call out. Surely this would be a good battle.

"Um, alright." Diana backed up several yards behind her Absol. "Luna, use Night Slash!" She was starting to get in the mood already, and grinned at the boy. "Hope you're ready."

Luna growled and leaped forward at the turtle Pokemon, a dark aura surrounding the Absol. She let out another yowl as she slashed out at the Carracosta.

Diana waited to see what would happen and how the opponents would react and retaliate. She wasn't that experienced in battle, and wondered what would happen if she lost. My only real trainer battles were against friends, she realized, and knew this battle was not as lighthearted. Though it had revved her up.

[Poliwag - M] ~ [Ted - M] ~ [Carracosta/Reef ~ F]

The red haired man smiled, “Ready as the rising sun,” He commented before looking over to his Carracosta. “You know what to do Reef!” The giant turtle pokemon sunk into his shell with a protect as the Absol used his Night Slash attack. “Now, use Rollout, man.” Ted, the red haired man, directed. The Carracosta shell began to spin, growing faster by the moment before racing towards Luna. It seemed this trainer liked using his pokemon’s hard shell to his advantage.

"Ohh," Diana groaned as the Absol was hit by the attack. "Come on, Luna, watch him! He's got protection!" Diana thought for a moment, finally shouting, "Use Future Sight! Psychic won't be blocked by a shell!"

Luna quickly let out a blast of psychic energy that appeared to disappear into thin air. But the aura of power now surrounded the battlefield.

[Poliwag - M] ~ [Ted - M] ~ [Carracosta/Reef ~ F]

The Carracosta continued to roll around the field and when the attack by Diana was called out the red haired trainer cringed a moment. It sounded like a powerful attack. Yet when it did nothing Ted became confused for a second. He had never seen the attack before so he didn’t really know how it worked. “Show ‘em a real attack man. Another rollout!” He called out to the shell pokemon. Reef’s spinning body once again went straight for the Absol.

Luna jumped out of the way of the Carracosta, but her shoulder was hit by its shell and she cringed. "Alright, use Double Team!" Luna straightened up and suddenly disappeared. Then reappeared several feet away. Then another one next to that. Absol appeared everywhere, and there were several dozen when at last they stopped duplicating.

The intensity of the Future Sight sent a chill through Diana's spine. It was tightening, closing in...

[Poliwag - M] ~ [Ted - M] ~ [Carracosta/Reef ~ F]

Ted and the Carracosta still had not noticed the Future Sight. He was pretty sure if he kept up the rollout attacks they could tire the Absol out and win this thing. So, yet again Ted yelled out, “Rollout again, knock them all down!” Once again the Carracosta spun towards the dark type pokemon, hitting a false Absol, and another, and another. He was trying desperately trying to find real one and not being successful yet. It was causing the surfer to become rather antsy.
