Bianca, in her own opinion, was completely smoking hot tonight. Not that she wasn't hot normally, mind you, but this time she'd gone all out. Her favourite low-cut lilac tank-top, leaving her toned arms bare and giving any onlookers an eyeful of cleavage, was partnered with a tiny black skirt with a slit in the side (really more of a small triangle taken out of the bottom, to be honest) and her favourite knee-high heeled boots with the laces tied perfectly. Her face had received just the right amount of eyeshadow and lipstick, she'd forgone her pirate bandanna to tie her violet hair back with a black ribbon instead, and the entire ensemble was topped off by a collection of jewelery: her faux-masterball necklace, a pair of diamond-shaped amethyst studs in her ears, and four bracelets, three on her left arm and one on her right, each with a pokemon silhouette carved from amethyst embedded in it. Granbull, Flareon, Persian, and Salamence. All in all, her parents would tell her she was dressed like a hooker. That was why she didn't live in Orion City anymore; the people there could be such prudes. Besides, hookers rarely had jewelery and expensive purses. After calling a few people out of her little red book earlier in the day and getting nothing but answering machines and excuses she'd decided, screw it, she wanted to go out and she'd do it alone if she had to. Bianca walked into the bar that night like the world was her catwalk, nothing short of strutting, and she paused by the doorway to stretch her arms up, arching her back with a look of contentment as the tenseness she'd developed from working at her store all day started to fade; she'd need a good dose of liquor to relax completely, but it was a good start. Bianca wandered around a bit at first, but not aimlessly, purpose and a swagger in her step as she looked around at the patrons, earning a turned head or two but no one who caught her interest. She glanced at one pool game, and paused to watch for a few moments, even though she'd figured out from the first look who the winner would be. Maybe if they didn't pass out from alcohol before the end and no one cracked a pool cue over the other's head, she could play winner.

Thank God the shift was almost over... Thanks to a...deal...with her boss, Jade only had to work a certain amount of hours instead of all night. Really, she just worked the bar when her other job--if one would call being a vigilante an actual job--didn't pull enough cash. Besides, the bar was the best way to pull in some....companionship. The woman had on her usual type of getup when she worked the bar; black tank top, black miniskirt, open jacket over it. As it stood, she was looking through of her stylish--and just for style--square rimmed glasses at what had to have been the biggest jackass in history. And he wasn't even drunk. In fact, he had to have been about...her instinct told her no older than eighteen. " I told ya, Hun. No." "Don't you know who I am?!?" " I know you're too young to be here, boy." "Boy?" he smirked. "How 'bout we meet up later and you turn me into a man, then?" That did it. In a flash, Jade had the boy by the collar, glaring into his eyes. " How 'bout you get outta here before I make you even less of a man?" she hissed before shoving him back. Promptly, he ran out the door. Rubbing her temples, her deep blue eyes caught sight of a newcomer; she'd never seen the woman before, and....well, she had to have been the hottest thing in the bar. Getting over her anger, she went back to work, pouring drinks for her customers. Every now and then, she'd flip a bottle behind her back, or toss one in the air, just for a little show.

A few seconds of watching the pool game, and Bianca's eyes started to glaze over. These guys were amateurs, and she'd definitely have to be drunk to enjoy watching them for even a moment longer. This in mind, she started to turn toward the counter, only to stop when she saw the bartender, a blond woman with glasses, grab a guy in front of her by the collar, who couldn't be old enough to be in here (not that drinking age had ever mattered much to Bianca), and send him scurrying off. She watched the kid race right past, arching a single eyebrow, and let out a small chuckle as he ran out the door. Now, what do we have here? Bianca thought as she looked back at the bartender. She'd managed to miss the look her way; if she hadn't, she'd have sashayed her way right over that moment to start working her charms. The bartender was definitely the most appealing woman in the place, though maybe that was just Bianca's weakness for blondes talking, along with the interest that had piqued upon seeing the confrontation with the boy. Bianca shifted her weight, putting her hand on her right hip and leaning a little to the left, the pose accentuating her natural curves, and eyed the bartender for a few moments longer, watching her little flourishes with a smirk. She adjusted her posture and looked back the pool game, then remembered why she'd stopped looking in the first place. She really needed a drink right now. Decision made, Bianca sauntered her way over to the counter, hips with just the right amount of sway. She slipped onto a barstool and crossed one leg over the other, making her already short skirt a little bit shorter with the motion. Her lips curved into a sultry smile as she lightly traced a figure-eight on the counter with a manicured nail and she tried to catch the bartender's attention, which, if she was at all interested in women and had a pulse, shouldn't be too difficult. "So..." Bianca said, her voice carrying a flirty undertone, "Got a drink you can recommend for a girl out on the town alone, sweetie?" The addition of the 'sweetie' was probably just a little too much; if she was straight, this was going to get awkward quickly, but if she wasn't...Well, Bianca was going to take her chances.

It may not have looked like it, but Jade was watching this girl's every move. The woman continued doing her job, with style. When the woman moved to the bar, that was it. The blond bartender smiled, eyes discretely tracing the figure as she sat down.
Okay, yeah, her night was starting to look up, now. "I got just the thing, Hun." With a wink, she grabbed a bottle of liquor along with some of her special mix of ingredients. Nothing special really, just a top secret mix of different flavors that uniquely brought out the flavor of the liquor. It was still a work in progress--and it wasn't cheap.
She mixed the two together, adding a little flare as she shook the concoction. A flip of the wrist here, a toss behind the back there...
Pouring the final mix into a glass, she gave a wink. "On me, Hun."

Oh, Bianca's night was definitely looking better now than it had been after the fifth or so phone number. Sometimes she forgot that not having a date had its advantages. Sharp green eyes watched the mixing, darting to follow the movements a bit like a cat with a laser pointer, a cat whose eyelids were lowered slightly in a sultry stare. Such a shame the blonde woman was working...
...Or maybe not such a shame. Bianca's eyebrow quirked a little at being told the drink was free. She never could resist free liquor. Note to self: hitting on the bartender is a really good idea, she thought as she took the glass delicately in one hand and took a sip.
A really good idea. In some places Bianca went to, the liquor was just a means to the end of being drunk, and she just tended to gulp down either the strongest or cheapest they had until she was at the right level of tipsy. Here, as she felt the mixture slide over her tongue and down her throat, she decided that the journey was as enjoyable as the destination.
"Mmm..." The sound was little more than a quiet, contented purr, and Bianca's tongue brushed over her bottom lip for the barest moment as she put the glass down again; she was definitely going to savour this one, hot bartender giving it to her for free or not. She leaned forward a little, a small chuckle bubbling from her as her lips formed a smirk. "You, sweet thing, have singlehandedly convinced me to keep coming here." As long as you're working, was the unspoken addition.
Bianca lifted the glass to her lips again, and ran her eyes over the bartender's figure. The violet-haired woman was never terribly subtle when she was ogling someone, but managed to keep the glance-over quick enough that she wouldn't look like she was drooling. Bianca was interested, yes, but not desperate. "Does this have a name?" she asked, indicating the glass. Better yet, do you? And when does your shift end? She was somewhat curious about the drink, but part of the reason she'd asked was just to keep the attention on her.

The woman smirked at the compliment."I tend to have that effect on people, even though I don't work here all the time. It's just a side job."
She leaned over the counter, checking out her new customer. "Actually it doesn't have one; just a special mix I make around the house, and sell it when I work."
A grin spread across her face when she looked at the clock. "Name's Jade, by the way." The blonde slipped out from behind the bar, and strutted over to Bianca. "And my shift's over." Sliding onto the seat next to her, Jade gave a wink as her replacement, a rather large guy named Bruno, took over.

Well aren't you humble, Bianca thought with another of her chuckles. 'I have that effect on people' was one of her lines. And the mixture was her own invention? That just made her all the more interesting. Assertive, gorgeous, charming, and clearly brilliant; if there was anything Bianca could do to get her out of here...
A bit of surprise crossed her face as the blonde, who introduced herself as Jade, slipped out from behind the bar and approached her. "Well, if I didn't walk in here at the best time..." Bianca picked up her glass again without even glancing at Jade's replacement and turned to face the blonde now sitting close enough to touch. Bianca kept her hands to herself, though, for the moment, and merely leaned a bit closer. "I'm Bianca," she purred, her voice taking on a hint of a Spanish accent as she spoke the name, a quirk she'd picked up a long time ago.
A thump sounded behind her, and Bianca jumped a little, luckily not spilling her drink. She looked over her shoulder and tried to stifle laughter at the sight of one of the men at the bar having fallen right off his stool. Either he was really drunk or...no, he had been watching them, as were, it appeared, a few other patrons. She chuckled and shook her head as she looked back at Jade and the man was left to scramble back into his seat. "Men, eh? You'd think they'd never seen women before."
Truthfully, Bianca never minded an audience, but if being openly stared at was something that bothered Jade well...she was open to suggestions.

"Nice to meet ya, Hun," the woman answered with a grin. Jade leaned in, a smirk plastered on her dark-red lipstick lined lips. "I'd say you couldn't have had better timing."
This was too perfect; Jade was into her, and by the way Bianca was flirting, she could tell the woman swung her way.
But of course the moment was interrupted by the man who fell. Jade let out a laugh. "I know, right? I mean all I do is show a little cleave and they drool everywhere. It's like they're either oblivious or they're total jerks. Most of them." A hand brushed her blond hair out of her face, then pushed her glasses up a little.
Little did Bianca know, the lenses in them were just everyday glass.

Bianca was giggling by the point Jade mentioned showing cleavage. "Oh, yeah, I wear a short skirt and they're having conversations with my legs. Gaping like Magikarp." She gave a small flick of her boot-clad foot for emphasis. Again, though, Bianca didn't really mind; she wouldn't begrudge people for preferring to stare at her long legs rather than looking her in the eye when speaking, as long as they listened when she said 'eyes up here.' "They always think we're wearing it for their sakes," she added, a flirty grin crossing her face.Translation: This is closest I'm going to get to outright shouting 'I'm interested in women' without being falling-over drunk.
Bianca's eyes followed the movements of Jade's hand, not really able to help herself. The mischievous little kid inside her was struck by the impulse to snatch those glasses, with the more brazen side of her adding the idea of stealing a kiss after the fact. Instead, Bianca took another sip of her drink and pushed those thoughts aside for the moment. She set the glass back on the bar and stretched much like she had when she first entered, fixing Jade with a smirk as she arched her back; a nice body could hypnotize more than just men, after all.
"So," she said as she relaxed again, "You ever come into the commercial district? I have a store I run, and...I think I'd remember seeing you in there." A predictable line, but she had to lead into the 'I own my own business' topic at some point; it was something she was proud of, even if the events leading up to it were painful to remember. But no thinking of bad memories now; there was a gorgeous woman requiring her full attention.

"Exactly! I mean, I wear something like this, and they're all gawking at my chest. It's flattering, but not always what I want." The woman paused, looking at her briefly just for emphasis. "Right. All this isn't just for them, after all."
Her hand fixed her hair again, and 'accidentally' knocked her glasses crooked again. So, she straightened them again.
"Actually no, not really. But I'll be sure to look you up." Briefly, Jade licked her lips. "Though I can't say I've seen you in here before."

Bianca's eyes followed Jade's hand again as she spoke. Sweet Mew, she's doing that on purpose, isn't she? And why wouldn't she? Anything that attracted attention tended to be repeated, and Bianca tracked movement like a cat. What conclusions Jade could possibly be coming to about Bianca's turn-ons, she was sure she had no idea, though trying to think about it made her chuckle.
And now the tables were turned. Bianca tucked a strand of hair behind her ear (the problem with tying it back in that ribbon is that a bit always got loose after a while), and chuckled again. "Yeah...I'd thought I'd try someplace I hadn't been before. Shake things up, you know?" Her voice took on its more sultry tone again and she leaned in. "I feel I find good things when I do..." Her fingers, very briefly, brushed against Jade's arm, the one that wasn't distracting her with glasses-adjusting, but she pulled back and picked up her glass again. "A lot of the bars I've been in have horrible drinks, anyway," she added, playfully, winking at Jade.

Jade was definitely doing it on purpose. But hey, it was working. And when something works, use it as much as possible. Or at least until it stopped working.
A chill went up Jade's spine at the touch on her arm; a good sort of chill, it made her smile. "I know what you mean. Same old same old gets boring after a while. Why I only bar-tend every now and again; tends to be the same thing after too long, and I don't want it to get old."
Jade giggled. "Well what do you expect?" she teased. "This is the only bar I work at." She returned the wink, her 'teasing' hand now twirling a bit of her blonde hair around her index finger idly.

Bianca let out a small giggle, not yet putting down her glass. She'd expected the line. Heck, she'd walked into it more or less intentionally. Her eyes flicked over to twirling hand, and another smirk crossed her face as she set her glass down and leaned in again.
She went to touch Jade's arm again, this time intending to let her fingers linger there just a little longer. "And what a sad thing for girls like me that it is," she purred seductively, looking into Jade's eyes through long, thick lashes. Maybe she was laying the compliments on a little too thick, but, frankly, if that voice and look didn't earn a shiver, Jade simply wasn't human; Bianca still remembered one of her straight friends once telling her to stop using the combination when she was around.
Then, because Bianca enjoyed being a colossal tease, she pulled away again. "Of course, it'd be sadder if it got old and you stopped bartending altogether..." She grinned. "I'm surprised you can sit in the bar you work in, to be honest. I love my store, but as soon as it closes I have to go out and have some fun somewhere else or I'll go crazy."

Another chill, followed by a shudder, went down her spine at the touch. Normally, Jade was causing these reactions. This chick was good.
"Why I'm not gunna let it get old," she purred, staring into Bianca's eyes. Jade could play that game too; heck, she practically perfected it. "Too much fun. And I wouldn't be the only one missing out."
The womans' grin turned into a sly smirk. "Well, it's harder to pick up a date in a store. And besides, since I work at this bar, I get a nice discount on drinks." This comment was followed by a wink.
Though her glasses were straight this time, that didn't stop the blonde bar-tender from toying with them one more time. This was proving to be quite fun.

Bianca tried not to visibly shiver, but she wasn't sure how well she managed. She mentally added 'sexy voice' to the list of reasons why she was into Jade. No you wouldn't, she agreed silently; it was starting to get warm in here, and Bianca knew it had nothing to do with drinking.
Picking up dates and a discount on drinks. Those were certainly compelling reasons to work in a bar. "Good point," she admitted, and then chuckled a little, "Though you'd be surprised. I work in a skirt." She felt she didn't really need to elaborate, given her previous statement about her legs. Though, to be fair, her work skirts were longer than the one she had on right now; then again, most scarves would probably cover more leg than the skirt she had on now.
They were sort of empty words coming from the woman who walked into the bar alone, Bianca realized, but, hey, being here on her own didn't have to mean that she couldn't have gotten a date...Great Arceus, Jade was doing that thing with her glasses again. Like the last times, Bianca's eyes followed the hand, though she actually tried to look away this time and distract herself with what was left of the drink Jade had given her.
The last of what was in the glass slipped past her red lips, and Bianca let out a small sound much like with the first sip. She looked at the bottom of the empty glass for a moment, then set it on the counter without even glancing at the current bartender. Bianca didn't see much of a point in ordering another drink, really, since the mix was Jade's creation; he probably didn't even know what was in it.

Jokingly, Jade indicated her own skimpy black mini-skirt. "Me too." Teasingly, she stuck her tongue out at the other woman. "But still bars are easier. I mean, if they're not interested right away, booze 'em up a little."
Before continuing, she leaned in, her lips mere inches from Bianca's. "Personally, I prefer not having to do that."
Leaning back, she smirked. Honestly, she liked playing games with her potential dates like this. Jade found it fun, though...
Well, this was one of the few times--if not the first time--that Jade might be the first one to crack. But hey, girls like Bianca didn't come along every day. This time, Jade pushed her glasses down, almost to the edge of her nose, sort of looking over them at the girl now.

Bianca's eyes flicked momentarily toward Jade's skirt, and she raised an eyebrow at the stuck-out tongue. Now this was why women were more fun to flirt with; the playful spirit of the back-and-forth was something Bianca found very enjoyable. Bianca couldn't help but giggle at the 'boose 'em up' comment, at least until Jade leaned in close.
Bianca imagined that she probably looked a little surprised at the initial movement, since she'd been doing most of the distance-closing herself. Still, as the words came out inches from her lips, Bianca smirked and raised an eyebrow again. This from the woman who offered me a free drink? she thought.
Then Jade leaned back and...pushed her glasses down...Bianca, you have officially developed a thing for women in glasses, she thought as she realized that she may very well crack first in this little game. Not that she hadn't before, since her impatience tended to get the best of her, but there was a part of her that wanted to see how far she could push this.
Of course, Jade did have a small advantage, since Bianca hadn't pinpointed any particular part of her anatomy that Jade was paying specific attention to. That was the point that Bianca realized that her foot was starting to prickle with 'starting to fall asleep' pins and needles from sitting with her legs crossed over one another, and she got an idea. There was one thing she was doing that was getting a reaction.
"Well," she said, uncrossing her legs and adjusting her posture. "That's something we have in common." She started to re-cross her legs, reversing them, but let the tip of her boot brush lightly against Jade's leg in the process. Bianca smirked; she'd consider it a small victory in its own right if she could get Jade touch-hungry enough to start matching these teasing brushes. "Most people are much more appealing to me sober. And if they only find me appealing through beer-goggles, their loss, I say."

Jade knew exactly what she was doing; the free drink was just the ice-breaker, so to speak. It was when she offered free drink after free drink to the same person that she was trying to booze them up.
"I agree a hundred percent," she answered, gasping a little at the contact. Bianca was good, but Jade had self control. However, it was much more fun to watch someone squirm when they weren't returning the favor. Decisions decisions decisions...
Then again, she kind of liked this. It was new, and sort of exciting. So, she decided to hold back. Licking her lips, she crossed her legs as well, repeating the motion, only Jade had on sandals. Well, they were like a cross between high heels and sandals.

That little gasp earned a satisfied smirk. "Figured you would." Bianca was good and she knew it. She'd been doing this since she was old enough to enter places like this (even earlier, if the houseparties where her and her 'boyfriend' discreetly parted ways and she flirted the night away counted), which was none of anyone's business how long ago. She could find a person's weakness and drive them mad with it until they wanted to drag her off somewhere private...or not drag her off first.
Her weakness was her own lack of control against the same techniques. When Jade mimiced her movement, Bianca gave a small, but visible, quiver, and suddenly leaned back as casually as she could manage, becoming very interested in the ceiling. Point to Jade.
"Shame so many people don't get it, huh? I bet you see a lot of people drinking themselves senseless, thinkin' it makes them more charming or something." She looked back at Jade a moment later as if the momentary crack in her self-control had never happened and chuckled. "Had a friend like that. Perfectly pleasant sober, but always drank just enough to make her a touchy-feely nutcase. Crawl right into your lap if you let her."

Jade smirked, knowing she all but had this one. The look in the eyes, the momentary shaking, staring at the ceiling, all tell-tale signs.
"Yeah, but it's funny sometimes. Though honestly, I like mine not practically all over me from the get-go. I like to...talk....first." Jade shot Bianca a sly wink, then 'accidentally' let her leg slightly brush the other woman's.
Then, one more time, just trying to capitalize, she fumbled with her glasses one last time. Maybe if Bianca got lucky, she'd find out they weren't even real. But for now, the bartender was going to have her fun.
