Appropriate Jobs?

I'm confused as to what kinds of occupation a character can have in this RP, can they have in-game jobs (such as a Trainer, PKMN Ranger, et cetera), or real life jobs (like a weapon engineer, or perhaps a diplomat)?

Occupation can refer to anything, really. You can have a pokemon related job such as a trainer, breeder, ranger, ect, or you could have regular jobs. If you look at the full statistics sheet (we have a link under the small stats in the sideboard), you will find some other occupations that have been used.

x3 Aye. About the only thing you couldn't be is something that literally wouldn't be possible, such as a political position that doesn't exist in Era or something like an Eran astronaut. However, even in those example cases a character could be a former governor/astronaut/etc from another region that did have such things. =P

Past that, everything from the obvious (breeder, coordinator, etc; it isn't necessary to specify trainer as that's sort of a given in an RP like this) to the common (scientist, nurse, teacher, etc) to the random and obscure (pirate, ninja, mortician, hair stylist, stable boy, seamstress, etc). x3 As long as you don't come out with... a... something completely ridiculous that I actually can't think of a good enough example for at the moment.. xD; You should be fine. A few jobs would be restricted in a character's actual ability to do them in-RP for game-balancing purposes, but they could still have the knowledge that they 'could' do so if Era's economy and technology were better, theoretically. :3
