There was an appeals contest that sounded like fun and you could win plushies too and ohhey there was a number guessing game, that sounded like fun! Walking over to the stand, she stared at the rules for a moment...well...it seemed pretty self-explanatory. "Just pick a number between 1 and 100 right?"she asked cheerfully, smiling at the nod from the man attending the stand,"OK! Ummm...how about....46?" The man smiled and congratulated Sofia on winning a prize and handed her a pokeball. Sofia of course squealed with excitement and thanked the man before running off to open the pokeball to see what she had just won. Opening the ball, Sofia's grin quickly vanished as she saw the Pokemon take form and look at her curiously. It was...this was...Sofia froze and dropped the pokeball, shaking visibly before uttering a small shriek and quickly clamping her hands over her mouth. It was a bug...and a big bug too...bigger than she was! Sofia wanted to run away but stood there, rooted to the spot while the Yanmega simply landed and looked up at its new trainer, confused as to why she looked so scared. [/scrolly]

They had so many plushies.... and some of them were bugs! He started running around like crazy to get all of them, but he wasn't doing very good with games.... so he ended up getting only one. He was looking at his Volbeat when he heard a shriek. Looking over at the girl with the bug, he smiled. "You got a Yanmega! THOSE THINGS ARE AWESOME!!!" he suddenly calls out as he comes running towards it to admire it closely. He hadn't studied one of these before...

At the moment though all Sofia could do was stare at the huge bug with her hands still clamped over her mouth in an attempt to hold back another scream. It was very evident that she was terrified of the Yanmega, but seemed to be rooted to the spot, despite how much Sofia wanted to run away far away from this terrifying GINORMOUS bug. The Yanmega looked up at the boy that all but screamed its name and blinked, not sure what to make of this new stranger. In truth, the Yanmega was more concerned about its new trainer...she seemed absolutely terrified, but of what...was there something dangerous around? [/scrolly]

He looked at the terrified girl and more or less stared. "Uh... what's wrong? He won't hurt you. He's only a bug." William says with a smile. He really hated how everyone was afraid of a bug just because it wasn't cute... but to him, Weedle was adorable. People needed to suck it up and at least not scream.

Taking a step backwards, she tripped over the pokeball she had dropped and flat on her back with an umph. This day was starting to go from bad to worse..... [/scrolly]

He held up a finger to signify hold on, and ran over to the girl. He held a hand out to help her up. "Trust me, bugs aren't scary. ^^ I mean, maybe they aren't the cutest, but they act just like any other pokemon. People being scared of them probably just hurts their feelings, you know. ^^ If I had a Yanmega.. well... I'd be excited ^_^" William says with a grin. He had missed the guess a number game as it had just closed after Sofia, since she seemed to be the last one. Oh well.. >.> He could just go back to the hive for more pokemon.

Well...some of them weren't scary that was true but the Yanmega was bigger than her and that's what scared her about it and just-. Shivering slightly, Sofia smiled sheepishly,"Thanks....it just...scared me because it's bigger and...there's something about bug pokemon that really really scares me..."Sofia replied in a quiet voice that dropped to more of a mumble near the end of the sentence. Looking around for the pokeball she had tripped over, Sofia picked it up and looked at it, then the Yanmega and felt the blood drain from her face once again....no...she couldn't keep something she was scared of, it wasn't fair to the pokemon. Looking at William she held out the pokeball,"Here...I...can't...keep him...it wouldn't be fair...."Sofia murmured sheepishly, taking a deep breath as she continued,"I'll trade you for him....if you want..." [/scrolly]

That would be cool.. but then he realized.. he didn't have pokemon to trade DX "Uh.. I would.. but I don't have any non-bug pokemon with me besides my Zigzagoon.. but I kinda like him..." William says slowly. "Oh.. I'm William Bain. I'm a bug collector ^_^ Weedles are my favorite." William says with a smile. He knew she didn't like bugs.. but a Weedle wasn't scare.. so he didn't mind telling her that. He then started to think. "Uh... I'd trade you.. but I doubt you would want a bug... so.... T_T I was so close to getting a new bug.." William says to himself. He had no other pokemon to trade so... DX

Breathing a sigh of relief as she put the ball away, Sofia had just about calmed down now that the big bug wasn't just staring at her until William mentioned Weedle and froze, dropping the pokeball into her bag as she did so. For some reason the word filled her with dread...but Sofia couldn't remember of what or why, only that it scared her to the core. Somehow managing to find her voice again, Sofia spoke up,"Sofia..."she replied, more or less whimpering her own name before continuing,"Umm...you could catch a new one? You can still have him....just...no bugs...."she continued, whimpering the last two words of the sentence. [/scrolly]

"I'll capture another one for you. ^^ I really want your Yanmega. You know what, Sofia, if you ever get a bug, I'll take it from ya ^_^" William says with a grin. He could get other pokemon to trade.. sure ^_^ He really didn't mind having to do that.

In fact, you want to see Mory? I caught him when I was lost one time..."Sofia asked in a more cheerfully voice, shuddering slightly at the memory even as she pulled out a pokeball that held the aforementioned pokemon inside. [/scrolly]

"You aren't scared of all bugs? You freaked out a bit over the word Weedle... Weedle is one of the smallest and cutest bugs I know of.." William says slowly. He didn't mean anything by it, but just wanted to put that out there. She then asked if he wanted to see Mory.. but had no idea who that was. "Who's Mory? Uh.. sure?" William asks slowly as he stands there. ._. It better not be a caterpie. That's what it sounded like.. but he hated those things.

Sofia just stood there for a moment until William mentioned Mory again and she looked down at the pokeball in her hand before smiling and releasing the Spinarak, hugging the small pokemon after she did so. "This is Mory...he's really sweet and I think he's cute...don't you think so?"Sofia asked in a more cheerful voice. Mory seemed rather relaxed in Sofia's arms but soon grew tired of being hugged and climbed on top of her arm instead and looked at William with wide, curious eyes. [/scrolly]

Once he saw the shape of a spider being formed, William jumped back. AAAACK! She didn't like weedles but she liked... oh wait.. ._. That isn't the big one that eats Weedles. That one looked cute and okay.. but if it evolved... DX "Sofia.. promise me you won't let that thin- Mory evolve." William says quickly .He really didn't want that little spider to grow up as a Weedle eating monster DX

"What, why? Little Seymour wouldn't hurt anybody...would you Mory?"she asked turning to the Spinarak with a gentle smile and petting him with her free hand. Mory had been scared when Nami screamed...he was nice... Seymour looked hurt when William looked scared of it, but this only lasted a moment before Sofia's kind words and the pettinz. Uttering a happy cry, he leaned into Sofia's hand as she pet him, glad that at least somebody wasn't scared of him. [/scrolly]

There was no way a cute little guy like Mory would hurt anyone, much less other bug types like ... . When William mentioned Weedle, Sofia paled slightly but continued to pet Mory, somewhat calmed by his presence."Mory would never do that ... ,"Sofia said quietly, looking down at Mory as she spoke before looking at William with defiant eyes,"I don't believe you! Mory would never hurt anyone and you're hurting his feelings by saying that!"she shouted at William, hugging Mory close to her. [/scrolly]
