Blinking at the Spinarak, Sofia stared at it for a moment before reaching out a hand to the spider...it did look...kinda cute...and well....seemed friendly enough. "H..h...hi...."Sofia stuttered before seeming to regain a little more confidence, still (thankfully) unaware of the other Pokemon that had appeared or she would be in the same state as Nami at the moment,"Sorry I screamed...you surprised me..." Well...she still looked a little more paler than usual, but hey at least she was trying...that's all that mattered right? [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

Jade jumped when the Spinarak showed itself, stumbling and falling back on her butt. It was then that she saw a man, whom had also apparently fallen. She put her hands on the ground to push herself up, one of them touching something.

"Oh, Hi th--" she started to say, then looked down and saw her hand was on a Wurmple. Jade backed up frantically, erupting into a scream that shook the entire forest.

"Ewewewewew....I touched it....I can't believe I touched it...;-;"

It was then that her eyes locked on the Houndoom, who was looking at her rather confused. "Maxine! Getit! Killitkillitkillit...."

"Doom?"

Jade pressed her back against a tree, paled and shaking.

[Caden Bunny]

The Spinarak looked at Nami when she started to scream, and his web started to shake and caused him to swing on it a bit, but he managed to steady himself. His eyes were spirals as he noticed the other girl. "Spin!?" it asks slowly, somewhat confused as to what was going on. It started to climb up it's web a bit in fear of Nami.

The Wurmple was just enjoying it's stroll when the man almost fell on it. The Wurmple jumped back and stared at him, very close to his face. "Wurmple!" it suddenly says, sounding very scared. Then it was touched and had a girl wanting it to be killed by a Houndoom. The Wurmple stared at the dog for a few moments before smiling. <^_^ Hai~ What's with all of these people? They act like they've never seen pokemon before.> the Wurmple states in pokemon language. ._. It was kinda confused.

[Jay]

Nami continued to pale until the Spinarak who seemed to shake, and she seemed to shake a bit in response to it. Her eyes seemed to flicker a little as she looked for any place away from the spider only to hear Jade scream. In another moment, Nami fell straight on her butt and made something of a @_@ face. At the next words that came from Jade, Nami wanted to lay down and die. Maxine? Nami had long since understood that her sister was not coming back to life, yet shock tears hit her cheeks before she could even stop herself. A whimper of sorts escaped from her throat, and she just sat there looking stunned and helpless. Buck seat dropped greatly at Nami and couldn't understand why in the world she was now crying. Sighing and rolling his eyes, he wriggled himself free of Nami's arms and made to walk over towards the Wurmple. <Maaan .. these humans I mean for serious> he stated rolling his eyes a little.

Yet even as he was frozen there his mind was racing. Something about it just being a small bug. A small, harmless bug. There was no reason to be afraid. It hadn't... it hadn't been the one to... It was just a small bug. Finally Kero stood himself up, trying his best to ignore the bug as his eyes searched for the people he had seen before. It seemed sometime in the process of him falling the older females had also fallen. The little girl seemed to be the only one standing still but she was talking to... no, he wouldn't pay attention to the bugs. They were small and not the same. It was all going to be ok. "Little girl..." He finally called out to her, deciding she was in the best shape to get information from, "I apologize for my intrusion but-" He froze for a moment feeling something landing on his shoulder. When he glanced sideways at it he realized it was just Blue and let out a sigh of relief. "would you happen to know where I am? Or have you come across a green haired man anywhere? I seem to have gotten separated from him.” [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Looking back at the Spinarak, the young girl exhaled slowly in an attempt to calm herself though she still did look rather ill and extended a hand to the retreating Spinarak,"Hey...wait...it's OK..."Sofia began until she heard an oddly familiar sounding voice and turned to look at Kero, hand still extended to the small spider. "K...k..kero?"Sofia said in a quiet voice, hardly believing what she was seeing before nodding in answer to his question,"Y...yeah...umm...we're in the...H...hive...but I haven't seen anyone with green hair..." Looking back up at the Spinarak, Sofia stood on her tiptoes and placed her arm directly underneath the Pokemon, hoping to get the little guy on her arm....she realized the others were scared of him but...he looked cute...he couldn't be that scary...right...? Argus could tell that Sofia was terrified with what was going on but didn't want to intrude just yet...she was at least trying to talk to the Spinarak so that was good. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

Jade closed her eyes, breathing deeply in an attempt to calm down. Finally, she slowly stood, creeping over to Nami and sitting next to her, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't cry, Hun. This may not be the best place to be, but we'll make it out of here." Of course, the woman had no idea why Nami was really crying. Looking up, she asked, voice sort of quivering, "E-everyone else o-okay?"

The Spinarak looked at the girl as she offered a hand. He started to come back down on his web a little bit to her hand. When he was picked up, he seemed to look extremely happy. He crawled around on her hand for a moment before moving up her arm a bit. "Spin!" he calls out happily. He really liked people who didn't scream and run away. ^_^

The Wurmple seemed to be moving on it's way again, more of less ignoring all of the other people. Man, they should just go back to the city if they're afraid of bugs. DX The screams had echoed around the hive a bit, and it seemed that it would either scare away, or attract new bugs. Suddenly something began to emerge from a tree. It came crawling down a branch and slowly making it's way over to the girls. "Wee!" it suddenly called out. The Weedle seemed to have been brought over from a scream.... ._. It stared at them in a rather confused manner. ._. Why did they scream to begin with?

[Jay]

Nami sat there for a few seconds before realizing that there was a hand on her shoulder. Looking sideways at Jade, the brown haired woman seemed to calm a little and nodded her head slowly. "I-I know...." she said quietly trying to wipe away the stray tears as she composed herself again. Looking over at the guy who had been asking the questions, Nami nodded her head a bit. "We're in a bug infested area called the Hive," she said trying to keep her voice steady only to have it crack in another moment. Breathing inwards, she tried to keep herself calm. However, when a 'wee' call came, Nami's head shot over to another Weedle, and she simply sat there. It was all she could do to keep herself from screaming and flailing all over again. Her pride was slowly kicking her in the butt repeatedly one for crying over bugs and two for crying over Maxine... Well... the latter of the two.... she...she...but...but.... "I-I'm Nami by the way..." she stated looking over towards Kero again and then looking back at Jade trying to show somewhat of a determined face now.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero blinked a moment when the girl recognized him causing him taking a few steps closer to get a better view of her. “Oh, Sofia.” He replied finally recognizing her. She had been the little girl he had gotten into an argument with and then went on an adventure. It had been… an interesting day. “Oh…” He was happy to at least have a failure face around but to find out he was in a hive? That… that was the last place he ever wanted to be. Ever. At least it explained the sudden appearance of bugs. Maybe they would luck out and one of his beloved bird pokemon would come along and eat them all! But, ugh, how could Sofia even think about touching that spider? “Mind if I… travel with you guys un-” He was cut off as someone introduced themselves causing him to turn around. Naturally he would have been angry for being interrupted and most likely would have given her a lecture on why one does not interrupt a noble, but then… he was going to ask them for a favour and to yell at one of them… probably not the best thing to do right now. Besides, he probably wasn’t talking loud enough for her to hear him. At least, that’s what he was going to convince himself with. “Kero Blackthorne,” He introduced himself, giving a small bow, “Cou-” Once again he was cut off but not by a human this time. It was by the tiny voice of a tiny, disgusting, dangerous, good for nothing bug! Kero straightened himself rather quickly upon seeing the weedle, almost knocking Blue off his shoulder. “Just… turn around and go away.” He slowly demanded the bug. It might work. Hearing Jade's question, Sofia nodded and looked at Kero again, some color returning to her cheeks as she calmed down from the initial fright of being in the Hive. That is until she heard the Weedle and froze, face white as a sheet now and found herself suppressing a strong desire to run right then and there...though she didn't know exactly why. Hearing Nami say her name, Sofia looked at Jade and Nami,"Sofia..." she replied quietly in way of introduction before looking back on the Spinarak on her arm she put on a brave smile and tried to push the fear away with little success. "You're cute...."she said in a quiet voice, trying her best to sound cheerful despite the current situation and pulled out a pokeball from her bag,"You...want to come with me...?" [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

Jade stood to her feet, looking at everyone. "Jade," she introduced herself hopefully for the last time. Returning Maxine, since it was obvious the Houndoom wasn't going to help her, the woman rummaged through her purse to find Zander's Pokeball.

"Aha, there you are..." She called out the Charmander, but there was another flash of light and a second Pokemon appeared.

"KARP KARP!" Jade face-palmed at Mr. Fishy's usual antics. "Fine...you can help too."

"Char!" Zander cried happily, leaping into his trainer's arms.

Then, the Weedle introduced itself. Jade jumped, as did the shiny Magikarp. Without waiting for an order, Mr. Fishy charged at the Weedle with a Tackle.

[Caden Bunny]

The Spinarak seemed to crawl on her arm happily and looked at her in the eyes. He was adorable and a bit creepy. He seemed to make some strange smile when asked if he would go with her, and nodded happily. It was much better than sitting in a web all day. It seemed to look at the pokeball and debated whether to hit it or not. Before he did, he looked over and shouted, <Stop picking on the Weedle!> but he chickened out from actually doing anything to help. Finally, he tapped it with one of his many legs and was pulled in until it dinged shortly after.

Ability: Insomnia ~ This pokemon can not be put under the sleep condition with this ability.
Personality: This Spinarak hates being a bug. It wishes it could be something that people didn't fear as much. Due to being a feared bug, it usually doesn't seem too happy and doesn't seem to have very many friends or good manners. He still puts on a smile everyday in hopes that things will change like the day he was caught, even if fear of being stomped haunts him every day.

The Weedle was just looking around as it seemed it wasn't wanted. It was about to leave, but it could hear something coming up behind it. The bug turned around just in time to attempt a Bug Bite as it was tackled. It tried to hang on for dear life though.

At Kero's introduction followed by Sofia and Jade's, Nami found herself trying to remember the names and storing them in the back of her mind. However, this was cut off by the sound of a Weedle's call. In another moment, Nami turned white as a sheet and went rigid again. Breathe... breathe come on damn it.... Nami gulped some air and slowly gained a bit of color back in her visage. As the battle started with a .... Magikarp? .__.; What the... and it was gold... and... looked mildly tasty for some reason <<; .... hey where did Buck go?

Buck, the Torchic in question, had found himself gazing up at Kero rather questionably. For whatever reason, he felt the incessant need to peck the male... oh that was why... because it was a male even if it was human... T>T.......In the end, Buck gave into his internal demands and ended up pecking Kero in the leg.

It was looking like it was going to listen to him and leave which was soothing to Kero. Yet as it went to leave something came out of the bushes to tackle the weedle! Kero hadn't had time to figure out what it had been though for the next thing he knew his leg was being pecked by a tiny fire bird. "Owch!" Was the first thing to come out of his mouth which was soon mimicked by a similar sounding chirp from Blue. He would have teased her for copying him if he hadn't been too busy looking down at the... Most Awesome Bird Pokemon Ever! He knew a Torchic didn’t actually have the title of flying type, but it didn’t change the fact that it was defiantly a small, fire bird. He absolutely LOVED fire types and bird types! Seeing one just made him want one even more! He couldn’t even muster up the will to scowled it for pecking at his leg. “Ahh he is so cute! I…” Kero didn’t get much further in his thought when he remembered the weedle and that something had tackled it. The sudden fear ran over him again and he turned his head back to see what it had been. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

The young girl's face paled and the brave front she had put up fell away as she shrieked and hid behind Argus, clinging to his leg before finally dissolving into sobs. She...wanted to go home...and...it was scary.... A rather loud POP was heard as Sofia's Jigglypuff, Jalen, broke out of his pokeball near Sofia and immediately stood guard in front of her, hands on his hips. Let's see the scary bugs get through him! >D Argus put a protective, comforting hand around Sofia, knowing there wasn't that much he could do when Jalen broke out of his pokeball to 'help'. Sweatdropping a fraction at Jalen's heroic pose, Argus said nothing, looking more amused then anything at the Jigglypuff's appearance. [/scrolly]

The shiny Magikarp was hit by the Bug Bite, but it didn't keep him down very long. Sure, it hurt like hell, but Mr. Fishy was a fighter, through and through. Launching himself into the air, he aimed a Bounce attack at the Weedle.

Jade chuckled to herself, knowing that if Mr. Fishy ever evolved, the world would probably be screwed.

"Char!" Zander cried happily, snuggling into Jade as the woman looked at the chaos. Her eyes caught the Jigglypuff, apparently standing guard over the girl and her Rhyperior, then to the man totally spazzing over the Torchic that pecked him. All she could do was laugh.

[Caden Bunny]

The Weedle let out a cry in fear as the fish came flying at it, and it tried to get away as fast as it could. This caused it to get hit a little and go rolling. It his a tree and squealed out in pain. DDX Why were the mean people attacking a little weedle? He slowly got up and tried to run around the tree to get away from the mean fish.

Suddenly a bush started to shake and red eyes peered through it, staring at them. It didn't show much more of itself besides the big eyes and made a little bit of purple. Then a pokemon seemed to be coming at them quickly, running straight by the trainers and magikarp... It was a Linoone. Though... there was another pokemon. A buzzing could be heard in the distance, but nothing came just yet.

[Jay]

Buck sweat dropped greatly when it seemed that the man was more pleased to see him rather than anything else. T>T Oh come on, he was not cute, pft. However, suddenly the Torchic watched a Linoone run by, and all thoughts of irritation towards the human was dropped. ._. Hu? Ah, thus was the short term attention span of the Torchic in question.

Nami watched as Sofia ran behind her giant Rhyperior, and for a few seconds, she debated whether or not to try and comfort the girl. She wasn't one to just sit back and let another be afraid. "S-sofia?" Nami questioned trying to make sure the name was right before she did anything. However, in another moment, a Linoone rushed by causing Nami to nearly jump. Stopping and turning her head, the brown haired woman watched as it went straight for Mr. Fishy. Suddenly a buzzing sound hit Nami's ears, and the brown haired woman squealed a little cringing as she did so. That... better not be what she thought it was.....

Suddenly Nami heard thunder rumbling in the distance and paled even more...................... Could this day get any worse?

The fish was at least a spirited little guy. He didn’t have a whole lot of time to stand and watch as the pokemon fought due to the sound of something running past him. It had taken his attention off the bug and fish causing him to look to the side. Just as he did he saw the Linoone followed by the sound of the buzzing. That sound defiantly couldn’t be good. “Sofia,” He spoke up quickly, deciding that it was time someone tried to take charge, “Ladies, I suggest we should start walking before that buzz finds us.” he announced as he turned to lead the way around a few bushes and trees. Truth be told, he really, really did not think he could handle any bug large enough to make such a sound. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]
