Dangerous? (Kero/Jay)

Wanted posters..... He could try to get those people, when he got stronger. Right now, he knew he wasn't a match for them at all. If he saw them though, he'd be sure to report them. ^_^ He started reading the end when he came across something on the bottom. He was... dangerous? ._. Cody couldn't believe what he read, and he suddenly panicked. He couldn't have people knowing about him and thinking he was bad! If his name got around.. he'd be doomed. ._. That's when he decided to do a crime. He quickly pulled out a marker and started to figure out how he could get people to not know about him. He could rip it off... but that isn't the best way. He could simply scribble on it or something! Yeah! Ripping would cause the whole bottom to fall off.... So he took his marker and started to draw and X on it. Then, beside it, he wrote some words in his neatest handwriting. Proven Harmless He then walked away, feeling a bit guilty. Kero was the name he read underneath that said who made it... and that sounded so familiar. He was sure he heard of Kero somewhere.... He stopped and thought about it, but completely forgot that his marker was still in hand, and he was barely even away from the poster. That's when things got out of control.....

The cities he was use to were always so... well brown or golden and dirty looking. Here the streets were sand free, the air was cool and there were trees and even grass! He wasn't sure if he would be use to it ever. The air, oh wow, the air! It was just so fresh smelling. So clean and clear. Oh how he loved it. "I could stay here forever!" He finally announced to Alvaro whom he was sure was still following him. He hoped. He had gotten a little bit excited when entering the city causing him to skip up ahead a bit. It was only a few moments after he had asked this question that he spotted a boy in front of him. Really, there wasn't very much that Kero found too interesting about the boy other then the fact that he was holding a marker and nothing to write on. Directly behind that boy was the posters Kero had mailed here asking if they could put them up. It seemed they had which Kero was rather happy to see. What he wasn't happy to see was the large black X across the top part of his warning poster. He wasn't close enough to see what had been written beside it but he didn't care! He had spent a lot of time working on those posters and he'd be dammed if he was just going to let people get away with ruining them when he caught them red handed! "Hey, you!" He yelled out, pointing his finger towards Cody angrily, "What do you think you are doing? You've just ruined public property!" He couldn't just out right claim the guy had ruined his handy work. Luckily public property sounded pretty convincing. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Yep... the eastern woods in general has some really nice air with all the greenery and what not. I traveled through it a bit before I finally met up with you," he answered with a grin. He was, in fact, following Kero seeing as the other man had run quite a bit ahead while Alvaro himself was perfectly content to keep walking the same pace as he was. Nearly jumping when Kero shouted, Alvaro blinked for a few seconds before finally seeing what or rather who Kero was yelling at. Some white/gray haired kid, it seemed. He was oddly mildly interesting looking at least for a second or two before Alvaro finally settled into understanding why Kero was now mad at him. Looking back behind the boy for a few seconds, Alvaro let an 'ah' sound escape him as he noticed the wanted posters. Well.... this was going to be interesting.... [/scrolly]

He then realized that he did more than just try to save himself... he committed a crime! He rushed back over to the poster and tried to rub it off. "Y-your right! I'm sorry DX I just know about this guy they talk about, and he isn't guilty at all. I should have just talked to that Kero guy. You wouldn't to happen to know where he is, would you?" Cody asks as he tried to rub the marker off, but it was marker after all. He couldn't get it off no matter how hard he tried DX

He should have… well… how could he stay mad at that? He could still stay strict though. He couldn’t let himself look weak even if he had Alvaro there to comfort him. “Yes, you should have.” Kero replied sternly, crossing his arms in an attempt to copy the reactions his father use to do when scolding him, “But now is the time to make up for that mistake. I’m Kero Blackthorne, Count of the South.” He announced. He truly loved gloating about his title to commoners. It made him… well powerful. Power felt so nice no matter what kind it was. He just had to keep in mind what Nathan had told him before. He could easily end up down the wrong path. He didn’t want that happening. “And this Alvaro.” Kero then decided to add, “He can hear everything you need to say.” That way Alvaro could be there to keep him from making any rash decisions. Part of him wanted to simply walk over and see what had been done to them while another part of him was wondering who exactly this guy was fro writing on one of them. Was he one of the people on the list or maybe someone just enjoying a bit of vandalism of sorts. Either way, Alvaro simply waited to see at that point rather than anything else. Alvaro blinked a moment at being referred to but then smiled easy enough. "Alvaro Gean, nice to meet you," he grinned rather easily looking at the young man again. "Why did you write on it, by the way?" he asked lightly. It wasn't so much that he really cared what the reason was, but he had stated what had been on his mind in the moment. [/scrolly]

I wanted to get if off of there before anyone started accusing me of being a villain that's just pretending to be a hero. I've helped a few people out already, but I'm not very known yet. So... I marked it up to stop me from getting brought in to you when I hadn't done anything wrong." cody explains while standing rather still. He looked kinda worried, but that was because he committed a crime, not because he was afraid of being taken in by Kero. "Oh, if it helps any, I get called The Web of Truth." Cody says while standing there.

It at least made sense why he had crossed out the information on the top half of the warning poster. Now the question was, did they trust what the kid was saying? How could they know for sure? He could just be a really good actor. But then… the guy wasn’t necessarily a criminal. Nathan had just said that he could be dangerous. There was a high possibility that the boy was exactly what he said he was. Kero let out a small sigh and unfolded his arms. The Web of Truth? What kind of name was that? Eh, it didn’t matter. “I can take your name down.” Kero stated calmly, “But, keep in mind that you still have to keep to all the laws. No breaking in entry, no stealing, none of that and I hear you have done something wrong I’ll personally make sure you are locked up for good. Unserstood?” His voice was rather stern as he said all of this. He had learned it all from his father. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

It sounded distinctly like something out of a comic book that he had read as a child. Frowning a little, he breathed inwards and simply waited to see what Kero would do. When it seemed that Keor had come to some sort of conclusion, Alvaro simply smiled. "Good~ Now that that's out of the way I'm starved," Alvaro sttaed rather easily then and there. [/scrolly]

"Thank you, and I won't be doing anything bad again. But I'm wondering.. why did you think I was dangerous? I haven't hurt anyone but myself in the process.." Cody says rather calmly. He did hurt himself when he fought the Zangoose... and had to perform for the money... and in the gorge trying to hunt down bad people.... not to mention the countless other battles his pokemon did in the process. To become a super hero, he had a long way to go, and people were already calling him dangerous. Could it be, that the one who informed them was actually a bad person who wanted to ruin Cody?

He listed as the boy thanked him and then asked his question. An image of Nathan then came to his mind but he cleared it. He wouldn’t give out Nathan’s name ever. As far as he was concerned he had gathered the information on his own. He wouldn’t put the other noble into danger. “We weren’t sure if you could be dangerous or not. Why we asked for more information rather than just putting you up with the other faces. It’s better to be safe than sorry.” Which Kero believed full heartedly. One should always prepare themselves for anything. “It took a lot of courage to talk to me though. If anything that should be considered and recognized as a truly noble man.” He then turned to Alvaro and gave his green haired love a grin. It was sort of the kind of grin that read, ‘See?! I can be nice to commoners!’ It truly was a rare thing for Kero to complement people. Usually they had to do something pretty impressive to get one. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

"Thank you ^_^ I didn't want people spreading lies about me. It wasn't dangerous, but seeing that on a sign.. well... it frightened me, to say the least." Cody says. His smile started to vanish when he saw the grin and read it worse than what it actually meant. He took it as him pretending or simply laughing at Cody for wanting to be a Super Hero. Nobles.. he didn't need them.... He still wanted to help people, but he doesn't want to sit there and have Nobles think of him as somebody lower than them. Even if he was, this made him feel like he was useless. He then started to walk towards them and walked right beside Kero. "D< Now you can go laughing behind my back... Nobles need to learn not to be jerks. By putting information about me, if it had gone any further, I could have been targeted by the OTHER WANTED PEOPLE! They would have killed me for sure. Why would they want a hero going around trying to stop them? Not to mention the other people who would come after me. You really need to think about what your doing before you do it!" Cody suddenly says, getting angrier as it went on. To think it all happened from a hunch.. not even something that was said.

Kero hated to be lectured. Why? Because he was now a Count. Sure he hadn’t earned the position by doing anything grand but he was trying his hardest to hold up to it’s expectations. Now this man here was claiming that he acted too high an mighty? Out of all the lazy, good for nothing nobles, he was the jerk? “Silence that infernal trap of yours!” Kero growled, his voice extremely demanding as a scowl took over his smile, “I’m doing you a favour by clearing your name and you dare to lecture and call me names? Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t have you arrested right here and now for disrespecting your superior?” His hand was set on his side ready to release a pokemon if it came to it. Putting a knuckle to his temple and massaging it for a few seconds, he sighed and said nothing as the two other men both exchanged words. Kero certainly does attract a lot of attention..... was finally what came to Alvaro's mind, and he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. After a few seconds, he finally allowed himself to smile. "Both of you calm down," was the request that came from Alvaro. It was far from an order given the light way it was posed, but Alvaro was more or less hoping it would calm the situation down. Looking at Cody for a few seconds, Alvaro crossed his arms in front of himself. "One. There is no such thing as a super hero outside of comic books. Two, there is no reason to get angry if you're thinking of the other people in the world. You may no realize it but if you're being a harm to yourself then you might harm others. Three, I'm hungry and if you detain me from my food I will be forced to eat your head." The last one... was obviously a joke, yet from the way Alvaro had said it, he could have been completely serious. [/scrolly]

Kero hasn't done anything to help those that aren't getting in fights with the nobles that involved me besides those posters that could have gotten me killed if my name was released even though I was innocent. Oh, and Alvaro I think you said your name was. I may not be super but I'm certainly trying to help others. I thought Nobles would be the ones who wouldn't care, but it seems I'm wrong. Nobles are dangering me more than rebels or gangs." Cody explains, still angry and ready to release pokemon if needed, but not yelling. Cody then looked back at Kero. "So, is a noble threatening me? I don't know if you call us peasants or commoners, but whatever it is, I think it'd be better if you learned to be a bit more.. understanding?" Cody says while standing there. Maybe.. he needed to understand things a bit more too. Alvaro didn't seem as bad as Kero.. but he still didn't like the fact that he doesn't think he can be a super hero.

Which it wasn’t.” Kero snapped at the boy, “And as far as Im concerned the safety of many people is more important than a single being. Any ‘super hero’ should know that. You hold a threat to that safety of others whether you want to admit it or not. Not to mention that if information has already reached me about you, than there is no doubt in my mind that the same info if not more has already reached the ears of anyone who might be a threat to you.” Though Kero seriously doubted anyone would take this man seriously. Learn some understanding? What understanding did he need to learn? He was a noble. He ruled over parts of the wasteland and it’s people. Those below him were commoners and did his biding. It was not he who made the system. “Dukes are ruled under the king or queen only. Counts under the Dukes, and the rest under the counts. You are under us all and unless you are going to join these rebels you are ruled under me. So I think it is you who has to learn some understanding.” Technically he couldn’t do a thing while here in the east but he could make the boys life hell if he ever entered the south. “Come Alvaro. Lets go get food.” He turned with that, ready to march off to find a suitable place to eat. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

A leader who doesn't care about those they are leading... that's why the rebels started in the first place. No wonder it happened. So, really, you don't rule me. I won't ever go to that crappy south again, knowing somebody like you is down there. As if the thought of nobles wasn't bad enough, you just made it so much worse!" Cody shouts out at Kero before he started to walk away. They didn't think he could be a hero... they probably thought he was crazy. They treated him like a little insect, just because ONE of them was royalty. He would stand for this. He would see if any of the other nobles were like this.. and if they all were.. well... he'd join the Rebels and help them out instead.

He would have if it weren’t for Alvaro walking beside him. He didn't want the man to have to wait on his account any longer than he already had. He owed that much to Avlaro for putting up with the constant interruptions they had and surely would continue to have because of his status. Finally Kero did stop, but not because of the boy who hopefully was long gone by now. No, he had stopped to look up at large sign that read, 'Tropius's All You Can Eat Buffet.' It sounded like a good place to eat. Yet as he went to open his mouth to suggest it nothing came out. Instead a small tear ran down his cheek and he quickly raised a hand to clear it away. The issue with the boy had effected him more than he was speaking aloud and it seemed his barrier wasn’t holding it back enough. “Lets eat here.” He finally suggested in a cheerful voice once the tear was gone.
