Quietly, he listened to her explanation. Meanwhile, Iris went on about her business, ignoring them as best she could. "Yeah, I understand. I wouldn't say I'm a violent drunk. I just have trouble remembering, and strange things happen. Last time, I woke up and my Pokemon had gotten in some huge...gang-battle or something. After that I swore to lay off the alcohol. Haven't touched a drop." he gave a nod, as if a few weeks would actually accomplish something. Ty gave another nod. "Well I've been in my share of crappy relationships too. Lied to, lead on, then break up and get treated like property. And I'd only dated him like a day." In Ty's mindless rambling, he possibly said too much. [/scrolly]

(X3;; For the record Fish, aside from the fact that you used the wrong color once there, Ty's normal speech color is BLINDING on that table to me. *been meaning to say something for a while and keeps forgetting* Have you thought of trying something like steelblue or dodgerblue or darkseagreen? (Which, by the way, is lighter than both plain and medium seagreen, even though medium is darker than the plain one. 'xD))

Delilah half-snorted a laugh and tried not to be too offended by that statement. "Sweetie, that sounds like my average Saturday night." Who 'dated' someone for a day, anyway? She'd hate to be the one to break it to him, but that was called a one-night stand... Ah well. "I'd rather talk about now, though, if you don't mind~?" she cooed. Her dark coyness resurfaced in her expression as she thought, Or preferably the very near future. Assuming some gorgeous hunk didn't walk through the door all of a sudden (and she was keeping an ear out, just in case), it seemed like Ty was the best she'd be able to get without too much hassle, and she'd really prefer not to be alone all night.

"Yeah. Right now is much better," he answered softly, also trying to clear his mind of his past...whatever you call it. It wasn't really 'dating,' since Ty dumped him the very next day. And it wasn't a one-night stand, technically, because they never actually did anything. But one thing was certain; that was over, and the now was looking to be much more entertaining. His eyes met hers as a sly--albeit sort of goofy--smile found its way to Ty's face. [/scrolly]

Delilah chuckled a bit. "You're so cute." It may or may not have actually been a compliment, given her tone. Well, she had to give him credit for trying to be alluring, even if it failed pretty miserably. Then again, to her, that was honestly just a little alluring in itself. Really, what was she waiting for? Was she trying to drag out the evening for the amusement of some unseen spectators or something? Hardly.

She leaned in a bit then and grinned. "So you know...." She reached up to run a hand through his hair and play with it a bit. "If you're not drinking, anyway..." In a soft, deep-alto purr, she finished, "Maybe we should ditch the bar....~"

Maybe he was just out of his element; or maybe he was just plain out of his league. It was likely the latter, but the reformed thief was hoping for the former. ...Then she played with his hair. He flashed a smile, eyes sort of half lidding; for some reason, playing with his hair had that effect on him. The young man gave a nod at her question, sliding off of his stool and standing on his feet. "You do have a point," he answered, holding out his hand. [/scrolly]

Delilah sniffed a small laugh at the gesture before getting back to her feet as well. It was a bit of a shame she hadn't been able to drink more first, but she thought it better not to taunt Ty like that-- and that had little at all to do with trying to be 'fair'. Smirking, she cooed, "Did you have anywhere in mind?" It was pretty cold, after all, so wandering aimlessly did not sound like much fun at all. (Not to mention all the time that would waste.) "Or..." She drew closer and leaned up slightly to nip at his ear. "Should I lead the way~?"
