Holly smiled, starting to sway and move in time with Trish. "I didn't know you danced," she commented as she made her way to the dance floor.
As she moved, she said, loud enough for only Trish to hear, "Hope you don't mind me as a partner. Don't want anyone to try and snatch me from you. I'll make it up to you, I swear."

Trish smirked made their way to the dancefloor. "Got to keep a few secrets, girly," she replied with a chuckle. "I don't do it much," she admitted.
Part of that was that Trish didn't really have any dance moves, though she obviously had good rhythm and wasn't clumsy. Having a partner to match her movements to helped immensely, however, and Trish smiled at Holly's comment. "You don't have to make it up to me, girly. Who else do you expect me to dance with?" Unless Holly expected Trish to want to dance by herself, which was a distinct possibility, but she didn't. Why go on a girls' night out with your best friend if you spent it in different parts of the club?

"Maybe, not that I have any secrets," she replied with a smirk. Continuing to dance, she didn't have to think long about how she'd make it up to her.
"I can set you up with a guy of your choosing? Can't promise longevity, but...I can always try. OH! I know just the guy."
Okay, maybe she was stretching it, but if this worked, she'd not only help Trish, but she'd fix a long-time personal problem.

Trish chuckled and shook her head at the suggestion to set her up. "Didn't I just say you didn't need to make it up to me?" she said, not even being able to conjure a significant amount of faked exasperation and just looking amused.
Was this the first time they'd had this kind of conversation? It couldn't have been. 'Trish needs to get laid' had to have come up before, even if the specific instances weren't coming to mind. The woman was hardly starving for such attention, however, even if she didn't have people of both genders trying to tear eachother apart over her.
Trish, however, was also a woman who was infinitely curious, and whoever it was who had grabbed Holly's train of thought may be worth asking about. "You know a guy who'd be interested in me?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. Holly had just been spouting the words 'opposites attract' earlier, after all, and if she was getting any bright ideas about setting her up with a man who was all sunshine and Butterfree...

Holly bit her lip. "Well...I know someone. He's tall, usually quiet, I'm convinced he never smiles, and his entire wardrobe is black. Loves dark shades; rarely showed his eyes."
Sighing softly, she continued. "But there's a catch, and it may not work, but I'm willing to try. See, his name is Mason, and he's my twin brother. But we haven't spoken in years...But if it all goes well, everybody's happy? And he's a great guy, you'll love him. We haven't spoken just because of some stupid thing I did..."

Trish immediately noted the bitten lip, and was about to retract her question when the description started, and the ghost-loving woman shut her mouth at the word 'tall.' Her interest was certainly piqued there, and by the words 'never smiles' 'black' and 'shades' she was leaning forward to catch Holly's words, looking a little like she was going to fall over. Oh, God, tell me he's got a stare that cuts through your soul and I'll marry him.
She immediately reigned in her interest when Holly went on, however, and she stepped forward to gently put a hand on her best friend's shoulder, getting about as close to a public display of sisterly affection as she ever got. The music may as well not have been there at this point. "Hey, slow down a little, girly," she said gently, "I'm not sure what's harder to process, you having a hot brother I don't know about, or that someone could stop talking to you."
Trish smiled one of those smiles meant to get the other person to smile as well, and squeezed her shoulder a little. "I'll say it a third time, you don't have to do this. Only if you want to, girly. I won't die." Even if she did, she'd probably just come back as ghost, anyway; she loved the band too much to leave them without a drummer.

"It was around the time of our first album. I was young and stupid; tried to take his then-girl. I never figured out how to apologize..."
She flashed a soft smile. "But you'd be perfect for each other. He's dark, and he has this...stare, but he can be really sweet. And each of you need someone just like the other. If it doesn't work, you can get me back however you want. But I really want to do this. For both of you." Her eyes locked on the drummer's.

Trish's couldn't help the surprised look that crossed her face at Holly's explanation. She wondered for a moment if she'd stop talking to Holly if she took a guy from her. She honestly wasn't sure. It was still a little mind-boggling to have two siblings not talking to eachother for that long. Sure, Trish was an only child, so she didn't know first-hand, but weren't siblings supposed to be obligated to love and be there for eachother even when they did things that they'd kick other people to the curb for? Or maybe Trish was just being horribly niave; it wouldn't be the first time.
"'Just like?' I'll remind you that I smile," she said a bit teasingly. "He does sound like my type, though." And he didn't sound like he'd run scared from her terrible trio of Madison; The Siren of Insanity, Gabriel; The Angel of Darkness, and Eight; The Chained, which was always a bonus. "And seriously, girly. Don't worry. Won't die. Now--" She let go of Holly's shoulder and started to sway to the beat again. "--were we or weren't we dancing? We can talk details about your hot brother after a song or two."

"You know what I mean," she teased.
Then, Holly let out a slight laugh when Trish went back to dancing. "True, true. And I did say tonight wouldn't be about guys, or girls. Just us, having a good time, no?" Holly shot Trish a grin; though she intended to make a phone call at the end of the night. She could only hope this would work.

Trish flashed a proper smile. "Exactly. You and me, girly. No guys." She felt adding 'girls' to her own statement would feel strange, given that that didn't really apply to Trish, and, well, they were girls. But then Trish was one of those people who thought about that kind of thing.
Trish may not have had many visually interesting dance moves, but she had always been someone who could get lost in the music, though that was usually while she was making it. Her eyes shut as the familiar pounding beat infected her and she moved without caring how she looked.
The hug for Holly she'd half-considered when they'd walked in had officially been re-scheduled to the end of the night. They could be nothing short of swarmed by fans now and she'd still consider the outing worth it.

Holly smiled, nodding. Her eyes closed as well, and she just got lost in the music, though she had no idea what song this was, or who did it.
Her movements may not have been that flashy, because on stage they were complemented by Fire, Water, and Electricity, on top of Lisha's ice effects. But as on stage, her movements flowed with the music, and were completely improvised.

Trish was usually still on stage, beating on her drums, but here she let herself move. The song flowed around her, melting into another, and she was having nothing short of a blast. Sure, part of her mind was still on what Holly had told her, and to say that the whole idea of this potential set-up didn't scare her on some level would be lying, but she could think about that later.
After a while, Trish started to come down from her high, opening her eyes and smiling softly. "Do you think over half the club will mob you if we get some drinks?" If the answer was 'yes,' well, the music here was still good enough to keep Trish dancing for a while, so she really didn't care. In her mind, Holly was more or less leading this little adventure, though that seemed to be how most of her time with Holly felt.

"I think we can afford to. Besides, anyone that comes at me tonight will be disappointed. Though, you call the shots tonight, Sis. It's your night, not mine."
Smiling, Holly made her way over to the bar, waiting for Trish. She was going to make sure Trish got a night she'd never forget tonight.

Trish raised an eyebrow. Her calling the shots? Well, that worked for her, she supposed, even if she wasn't used to it. She made her way to the bar and ordered something a bit simple for herself as she took a place beside Holly.
"I still feel a little sorry for all those poor guys," she commented with a chuckle. "And girls." That was when her smile faded a little, however, and she caught sight of someone out of the corner of her eye.
Small, with auburn hair, wearing a tanktop-and-skirt combo a lot like Holly, and, Trish realized quickly, nervously eyeing them. Well, here's the first broken heart of the night, Trish thought faintly as the young woman started to approach them. 3...2..1...'You're Holly Marxx, aren't you?'
"You're Trisha Walker, aren't you?" Trish was quite sure the stunned look that crossed her face would have seemed priceless to her if she'd seen it for herself. She turned to look at the woman, whom Trish just now realized had a camera in her hands.
"Last time I checked," she replied, lips quirking in a smirk.
Before she could even ask what she could do to help the poor girl, she started speaking, presumably in an attempt to keep from losing her nerve. "I-I just...I was at your show with my little sister and...sh-she's fourteen a-and you're her idol and I was wondering..." She held up the camera weakly and winced a little, almost like she was afraid of being yelled at.
Trish glanced at Holly. Even if she was technically 'calling the shots,' Trish wouldn't be Trish if she didn't see what her friend thought. She had no problem with appeasing someone with a little sister who apparently idolized the weird, creepy drummer (in fact, part of her was tempted to meet this kid), but that was a bit of slippery slope.

Holly ordered something akin to a pina colada, sipping it as Trish joined her; and they were soon joined by some nervous looking chick. The conversation, however, almost knocked Holly out of her chair.
Now, Holly wasn't jealous. Actually she was happy for Trish, and it surprised her. Holly smiled when Trish looked back. "Go ahead, girl," she said brightly.

Trish didn't grin in public, but the smile she gave Holly was a little wider than usual right before she turned back and toned it down for the woman with the camera. "That good for in here?" She asked, gesturing a little at the camera.
The auburn-haired woman gave a small nod. "Y-yeah, it's great." She held it up and aimed at Trish.
Trish's eyes went to her pocket, and she pulled out her gloves to pull them back on. She leaned back a little, resting on arm behind her on the bar. She intertwined the fingers of her other hand in the black chain of her keystone necklace, and fixed the camera with one of her intense stares, but with a curve to her black lips.
In a moment, the picture was snapped, and the goth-girl relaxed, untangling her fingers and putting away her gloves. "That good?"
"It's great!" the woman said, and for a moment Trish's body stiffened, thinking she may by hugged against her will. That was the point having fans crossed from 'cool' to 'uncomfortable.' However, she seemed to have the sense to keep her distance, merely giving Trish an appreciative grin. "Oh, thank you! This is...She'll love it."
"No problem." Trish picked up her drink and sipped at it, still facing the woman. "Least I can do. Tell your sister I said hi, hey?"
"I-I will." As the woman scurried off, Trish turned back to Holly with that same smile.
"Well, that was unexpected." Frankly, Holly could keep her hordes of lovestruck men and women. There was a fourteen-year-old girl who thought Trish was awesome. Of course, Trish knew that they'd just drawn attention to themselves with that, and it was only a matter of time before Holly's fans came running but, hey, tonight had already been a good night.

Holly smiled back, then slid out of the way so she wouldn't be in the picture. The woman just watched, smiling as she sipped her drink. When all was said and done, Holly reclaimed her seat next to Trish.
"It was very sweet. I'm sure you just made her sister the happiest girl on the planet."
Holly continued to sip her drink, her blue eyes locking on Trish's. "I'm starting to understand something about you, sis. I love the being flocked by fans, and being the center of attention. You're just as happy with one occasional fan who makes themselves known. I'm sure you have more than that, though."

Trish smiled at Holly. "To be honest, girly, if someone tried to put me in the spotlight, I'd be a mix of miserable and terrified." She didn't use fear-related words much to refer to herself, mostly because she hung out in graveyards for fun, but that was the only way she could describe it. "It's not where I belong. Never has been. The shadows work fine for me, as long as I'm part of the music." She chuckled and shot a quick glance where the woman had gone. "Be lying if I said that knowing I made that kid happy doesn't give me the warm fuzzies, though."

"Yeah, and I'd go totally insane if I wasn't in the spotlight," she replied with a giggle.
"But yeah, what we do isn't just for our own enjoyment, though it is fun. Everything we do as a band is for the people. And personally, I'm glad we're the type of band who appeases the fans on and off the stage." Though, in Holly's case, the word Appease was used very loosely...

Trish chuckled lightly at the statement that Holly would go insane if not in the spotlight. "Definitely better you than me, then, girly. I'll never understand why you like it, and I've long stopped trying, but I'm glad you've got it."
What Holly said next, Trish didn't answer right away. She took her drink and sipped it. Holly was smart. She was a wild partier, had probably slept with more people than Trish had made conversation with in her life, and had a love of conventionally 'cute' things that boggled Trish's mind sometimes, but she sure wasn't stupid. And she had one impressive heart of gold, as she'd found out over the years.
"You know, if, before all this happened, someone told me I'd be in a band, a real band that didn't just play in someone's garage, I'd probably have laughed at them," she admitted. She'd never outright said that, though she knew that she'd appeared nothing short of floored at their resulting fame. "I like it when something I do makes people happy, girly, and that's why I tried." Of course, she also liked to freak people out, thus the creepy performances. Scare them in a way that they like it.
Another chuckle escaping her, she added, "However, if I ever get fans proposing marriage, or find out someone's got a shrine to me in their closet, I will lock myself away with my books and my pokemon in utter horror, and you'll only ever be able to drag me out to play on stage and record."
