As Deep as The Woods(Jay/Open/Mod?)

Narrowing his eyes, Jason pulled up short and smiled.

"Screech."

As he had his ear violated, Jason let it be as Yanti entered into her battle mode. The area grew harder and harder to see as a sandstorm began to whip up in the area. Yanti was amused by this Abra, but time to show it that pranks have a price. Opening her mouth, she let loose a deafening screech and watched as multicolored leaves were shot from the Roserade.

Jason was amused. Yanti wouldn't lose to anyone or anything. She was the powerhouse of his pokemon and the unstoppable strength that got him through everything. This day was getting better and better while the road drew him to this Abra.

[Puppet]

The Abra was startled as sand blasted into it's face, clogging it's nose and mouth. It smacked it's hands over it's ears as the defeaning Screech filled the air, and then was buffeted by multicolored leaves on all sides. Completely overwhelemed, the Abra teleported away with a howl of anger.

Was that really the entire battle?

Nope. A few seconds later, the Abra reappeared a little ways off, using the entrance to the temple to shield it from the raging sands. Beside it floated two barely noticeable forms, but on closer inspection, their giant eyes rolled into exsistance. A toothy grin marked the gaseous balls and the Gastly launched two shadow ball attacks at the roerade and tyranitar.

Feliciano watched as the rampage seemed to continue and then saw that teh Gastly were shooting off shadow balls. Feliciano's eyes grew, and eh quickly looked at Rosie. "Use Energy Ball and keep the Shadow Balls away," he said aloud. The Roserade nodded and shot off an Energy Ball towards the Shadow Ball in order to try and deflect the attack. Felciano was quite interested in the Gastly rather than the Abra. Despite being a grass trainer, Felis wouldn't mind a Gastly, maybe. "Now use Magical Leaf!" he called out pointing directly at the Gastly.

Jason had grown quite used to the sands that came when Yanti entered the battle field and began moving when a Shadow ball came flying through the area at Yanti.

"Leap, Yanti! Return fire with Dark Pulse!"

Jason prayed that Yanti was successful as he put his plan into motion. He had seen the direction the Shadow Ball came from and was headed around to get to the other side. A thought dawned on him as he shout out.

"Felis! Flank them!"

With a wild look in his eyes, Jason raced toward them while grabbing for one of his pokemon with one hand and a pokeball with the other. This was turning out to be a great day.

Abra was highly amused at the trainer telling his fat dinosaur to jump. But he was quickly deterred as the dark pulse blasted out of the sandstorm. He dodged at the last minute, leaving his ghastly behind. The Gastly tried to follow their leader, but weren't fast enough, and hoped that it wouldn't effect them. However, the dark move was one of the few things that actually did effect the ghost types, and they were blasted back simultaneously. Magical Leaf came up from behind, hitting one of the Gastly and it toppled down, hissing through the floor as it fainted. Guess it's hard to hold your form together as a gaseous blob if you're unconscious.

The Abra, angered at losing one of it's minions, teleported over to the Tyranitar. Grabbing it by one of it's horns, it teleported again, taking the great beast with it. But the tiny Abra was far too weak to hold onto the heavy pokemon for long, and dropped it once it re appeared in the tree-tops.

The remaining Gastly hurted itself at the Roserade, using a Payback to blast the pain the dark pulse had inflicted upon it at the grass-type, only doubled.

The Roserade smirked a bit and used Protect to block the Payback and then used Magical Leaf yet again even without Felis's command. Feliciano watched at this Gastly. He wanted it for it hadn't fainted, and it appeared strong. I'll still remain a grass type trainer mostly... he mused to himself watching Rosie work his magic.

Yanti felt hands on its horns and the wrench of being moved from one spot to another. As she was let go, she let lose a blast of Dark Pulse directly at the Abra. Yanti felt herself plummeting to the ground and roared out in defiance as she tried to reach out and grab a hold of the trees before crashing into the ground.

Jason stopped and ran straight toward the roar when he heard it. It must have moved when he was nearing it. He only prayed he could reach her before she hit. He might be able to get to her and help her. He knew she was extremely heavy and that there almost nothing he could do, but he would try.

The Gastly bounced into the protective barrier, dazed for a moment afterwards. Leafs buffetted it's face and it's typical grin turned into a snarl of fury. It's gaseous molecules began to disipate into a nothing, and for a moment is seemed that the Gastly had fainted like it's friend. But after a few seconds, it reformed, solidifying before them. A dark hand was outstretched before it, a jagged grin stretching across it's lavender face. Eyes slanted with malice, the Gastly had evolved into a Haunter. It dissipated, then appeared next to Rosie and landed a Shadow Punch, a move that always hits without fail.

The Abra took the full blunt of the Dark Pulse, it's body seizing in pain as it was hit with it's weak spot. Teleporting again, it flopped to the ground, too dazed to move as it tried to regain it's fighting spirit. Meanwhile, the Tyranitar crashed through the canopy, it's scrabbling small arms flailing towards the branches. If something didn't stop it, it would crush both the abra and it's trainer.

Feliciano's eyes grew at the sudden evolution, but as the attack smashed into Rosie, his face fell into a strangely dark look. Rosie, who had felt the full force of impact, recoiled a fraction and then returned with a Magical Leaf refusing to be beat so easily. "ROSERADE!" Rosie shouted before suddenly charging and releasing yet another Magical Leaf attack.

"Rosie are you ok?" Feliciano asked looking at the irritated Roserade. The Roserade said nothing for a moment before looking back at his trainer and nodding. "Good, then I'll let you keep going."
