In Need of a Snugglefluff (MOD!)

((No more than two people please. I just want Wess to have a little interaction while he hunts down his "snugglefluff".

Wess sighed, as he craddled onto Blair's back. The five year old and the mother Pokemon seemed to be tired, and Wess slowly began to wish he was taking a nap with Cory. "Blaaaaair," Wess whined, "We need to hurrrrrry! I want a snugglefluff so I can have a friend smaller than me! Truffles won't snuggle, so I need a new snugglefluff!"

Blair cast a glance back over her shoulder. ^.^ "Bear Bear, Beartic," she replied with a happy tone. However, inside, her expressions were anything, but happy. Inside her head, the bear was becoming moody.

=___=" <I can't believe he's making me carry him around like this. What happened to Terry? And what the freak is a 'snugglefluff'?...>

Continuing through the forest, both human and Pokemon keep their eyes out for any kind of furry, moving life form.

[KARP KARP!]

Not far in the distance, a Buizel was watching them from behind a tree, but he didn't move. Even farther off, a Clefairy was skipping through the flowers, singing to herself and didn't to notice the boy and his Beartic. Not far from the Clefairy, a Vigoroth was propped up against a tree, picking his teeth with a small twig. Eyes narrowing into a glare, he silently dared the human or the bear to try something.

Blair silently narrowed her eyes at the Vigoroth. She didn't like his look one bit. Wess sighed. "These aren't snugglefluffs..." he whined, crawling onto Blair's shoulder. With a simple shrug, Blair gently reached into Wess' bag and pulled out one of his Pokeballs, then she let Maggie the Magnezone out. Placing Wess on her, the bear instructed Maggie to take Wess hunting for more Pokemon.

While the duo scoured the forest for whatever a snugglefluff would be, Blair confronted the Vigoroth with crossed arms. "Do you have a problem? Because I can skin you if need be,"

[KARP KARP!]

Not too far in the distance, a Grumpig was trying to show off to a female Vigoroth, though she seemed uninterested in his antics. This didn't stop him from trying to flex his muscles and do little dance steps for her. The Vigoroth merely rolled her eyes.

The male Vigoroth snorted a little when confronted by the Beartic. <Maybe I don't like the likes of you on my turf,> he said sharply, letting his makeshift toothpick just hang out of his mouth, as his eyes met the other Pokemon's.

Meanwhile, a small Patrat was standing guard, keeping watch over all that was going on. However she hoped with every fiber of her being that no one saw her. ;-;

Wess and Maggie kept on floating, not seeing anything of interest. Meanwhile, Blair seemed to be losing her patience, and her temper was growing.

<Your turf? Heh, I don't see how. I can take you down easy.> she snickers.

[KARP KARP!]

A Wigglytuff could be seen lying on the grass, looking up at the sky. Though it was uncertain whether she was completely oblivious to the boy and his Pokemon or just ignoring them.

A Spoink was bouncing around, back and forth idly, bored out of his mind.

The Vigoroth looked narrowly at the Beartic. <Is that a challenge?> he snarled. Sure, she was bigger than him, but the normal-type didn't exactly care. No one talked to him like that!

[wess]

Wess cocked his head at the Wigglytuff. Taking out a Pokeball, he let out Terry, his Tropius. "She seems to like clouds. Go play with her and see if she wants to come along!" Wess tells the dinosaur. The large thing nods, and flutters gently over to the Wigglytuff and then joined her in watching the clouds.

Wess and the Magnezone continued to move onward, looking around for his snugglefluff.

Blair nodded viciously at the Vigoroth. <It is.>

[KARP KARP!]

The Wigglytuff smiled as she looked up at the clouds, her mind wandering off to its own little world. Then, she rolled over and...

<EEP!> How long had the Tropius been there?!? She blushed, then stood to her feet. <Sorry...I uh...didn't see you there. How long have you been there?>

A Cleffa could be seen, chasing an Igglybuff as both tiny Pokemon giggled; apparently they were playing tag or something. There seemed to be nothing else of interest in the immediate area.

The Vigoroth said not a single word. Instead, he struck at the Beartic with a Slash attack. Challenge accepted.

Terry settled himself down, tucking his legs inward. "I just arrived. I saw you looking at the clouds, my dear. I was just wanting to know if you'd like to come along with my master and me. And if you don't... What can I do to make you come?" The Tropius asked.

Wess continued flying past the little Pokemon, uninterested in the potentiality as snugglefluffs.

Blair parried the strike with her own Slash, before drawing back her dominant paw and unleashing a superpower towards the monkey's gut.

[KARP KARP!]

The Wigglytuff blinked. <Uhm...I don't know. What's your master like? The human's nice, isn't he?>

A Combee was going from flower to flower; he was too busy to notice the boy and his Pokemon. A Hoothoot was perched in a tree, watching the boy and his Magnezone. "Hooot...hooot," she called.

The super-effective Superpower knocked the Vigoroth senseless, and he collapsed against the tree he'd been propped against just moments before. Severely weakened, he wasn't out of the fight just yet, and he retaliated with a Counter.

[wess]

((Alright, done.))

Terry nodded. <He's young, and a bit naive, but he has a bunch of Pokemon friends to help us.>

Wess and the Magnezone kept on searching, uninterested.

Blair in the meantime, had to quickly throw up a protect to defend herself from a potentially lethal move. She backed up slowly. The monkey was slowing down. Her next move should finish it...

[KARP KARP!]

The pink Normal-type smiled. <Sounds like fun; I'd like to meet him first, though, Okay?>

Off in a patch of tall grass, it looked as if...some of it was moving?!? Upon closer inspection, it was just an Oddish, skipping merrily along. Farther in the distance, a small Growlithe was curled up, sleeping peacefully.

The Vigoroth gave an enraged yell, attacking the Beartic with a Reversal; which in his weakened state, would do quite a bit of damage should it hit.

[wess]

<Hop on.> Terry said, fluttering his wings, awaiting on the Wigglytuff to board him.

Wess shook his head, getting a bit grumpy as they kept on moving.

Blair purposely took the blow, managing to hang on for a bit longer. It was then that she dove towards the Pokemon, releasing a flail in an attempt to take the Vigoroth down.

[KARP KARP!]

Wigglytuff shook her head. <I..uh...I'd rather walk, if it's okay with you.> It was nothing personal, the Wigglytuff just preferred walking.

Another Buizel could be seen, happily swimming and splashing in the lake. Meanwhile, a Nidoqueen was standing nearby, watching her baby Nidoran playing in the grass. Every now and then the Nidoqueen would look around, making sure no harm would come to her daughter.

Vigoroth took the hit, falling to his knees as the toothpick fell from his mouth. Then, he dropped completely to the ground. His right paw twitched, then he became still, unable to continue.

Tropius nodded, as he led the Wigglytuff in the direction of his trainer. In a few moments, they'd find him.

Wess had taken a break, staring forth at the powerful Nidoqueen and her baby. He really wanted both, but had no idea how to approach.

Beartic let out a loud sigh as she picked up the Vigoroth and went towards Wess. Eventually, she dropped the monkey before him, and a Pokeball was chucked the towards the Vigoroth halfheartedly, while Wess continued to watch the Nidoqueen and Nidoran.

Blair under went a quick rest to replenish herself, and then approached the females cautiously, looking up and down the rhino-bunny thing. <You have a pretty daughter...> the polar bear began.

[KARP KARP!]

Wigglytuff eagerly yet nervously followed the Tropius, hoping his trainer liked her...

The Vigoroth was pulled into the Pokeball, and it shook violently for a few moments before finally clicking.

Ability: Vital Spirit--cannot be put to sleep
Personality: This is a rather headstrong and stubborn Pokemon who loves a good fight. He loves to show off his strength, and will never back down from any challenge, regardless of the odds. He is always seen with a small twig hanging out of his mouth, which he uses for a toothpick. In the event that it is lost or broken, he simply finds a new one.

The Nidoqueen eyed the boy and later the Beartic, calling her daughter to her. The little Nidoran obeyed, and stayed close to her mother. <Thank you. Though I have to say...I'm not very fond of how the boy is eying us. I saw what you did to that Vigoroth. I won't allow you to separate this family, understand? I'll fight to the finish for her.> She folded her arms across her chest, fixing a cold stare on the Beartic.

Wess' attention transfers over to the pink blob as he sees it approaching. Whatever it was, it was a snugglefluff, it was a bouncepuff. With wide eyes, Wess tackled it into a hug, giggling.

Meanwhile, Blair confronts the Nidoqueen. <We have no need to separate you. There won't be any violence if you decide to come with us on your own. Either way, both of you will be tagging along with us. I assure you I won't be violent towards your daughter, for you see that human is like my own son. His parents died, so I care for him.>

[KARP KARP!]

The Wigglytuff let out a surprised squeal at first, but discovered the boy wasn't trying to hurt her. It was just a rather...excited...hug is all. She returned the hug, giggling.

The Nidoqueen meanwhile, kept her gaze fixed on the Beartic. Then, she whispered, so her daughter wouldn't hear. <Then I'm sure you understand I want the best for my child. I agree, but if anything happens to her, I assure you I will not be held responsible for what may happen next. Understand?> Meanwhile, the Nidoran had hidden behind her mother's leg, Growling at the Beartic, though obviously afraid of her.

[wess]

<Of course I do. Though, I assure you that the same thing holds responsible for my own son.> Blair replies.

Wess quickly pulls away from the Wigglytuff. Fishing out a Pokeball, he pops it open, as he tries to absorb the Wigglytuff from it.

With a gentle growl towards Wess, he turns toward the Nidoran and Nidoqueen. Taking two more Pokeballs, he places one in front of the little bunny, and hands the other to the rhino-like Pokemon. "I'll let you capture yourselves, since you're agreeing to come along! Friendly friends are fun!" Letting out a large grin at the duo, he awaits their capture as well.

[KARP KARP!]

The Wigglytuff practically leaped into the ball, and it clicked almost instantly.

Ability: Cute Charm
Personality: This Pokemon isn't much of a fighter, and would much rather look at the clouds or play. Somewhat spacey, she tends to miss what happens right in front of her. Though she's usually peaceful and laid back, she will fight if she has to, especially for her friends.

The Nidoran eased out from behind her mother's leg, nudging the Pokeball lightly with her nose. Accidentally pressing the button, the young Poison-type was sucked inside, and the ball shook frantically before ringing in capture.

Ability: Poison Point
Personality: Still young, this little girl is quite mischievous and playful. Though she loves to play around, she is easily frightened. When afraid, she usually hides behind her mother, or the closest available leg. This little Pokemon also loves attention, and can be very adventurous.

The Nidoqueen gave a small chuckle at how adorable her daughter could be sometimes, then pushed the button to her own Pokeball, which rang in capture instantly as well.

Ability: Poison Point
Personality: This Pokemon is very gentle and motherly, willing to care for young Pokemon as well as her own child. Usually laid back, she is very protective and will not hesitate to fight for her young, her team, or her trainer. Under normal circumstances, she'd rather not battle, but she will do what she's told nonetheless.
