Venus let out a sigh, despite the fact that her normally blueish face was a light shade of pink. But, it was worth noticing the Wartortle stopped his assault.
<Okay, yeah. I said it,> she murmured. <If you didn't act like that, you would be attractive...> She looked away nervously.

The Wartortle was fighting down the blush that was coming to his features but inevitably failing to do so. After a few seconds, he shook his head and rubbed the back of it. <Like I care> he shot back though faltered rather hard at the end. It seemed as though he were suddenly conflicting with himself and unsure of what he wanted to do.

Venus blinked. Did he just....seriously? <You really don't care...? I don't want to fight. I was just sticking up for my trainer. And you just don't care?!? I was like, being nice...trying to find the good underneath. Well, like...I found out your looks are all you have going for you...ass...> With that, she fired off a Razor Leaf.

The Wartortle was hit by the Razor Leaf and cringed before whipping around and looking irritated at Venus. <Well hell maybe I have some problems expressing myself!> the water type shouted back rather quickly before simply reverting to a frown. He hadn't attacked back again yet but was still looking angry.

The Wartortle looked at Jade and then back at Venus before looking back at Jade again. <I just don't like humans> he stated rather mater of factly back at the Bulbasaur. Indeed, he ... he didn't like them at all! They.. they abandoned him after everything! They were just annoying creatures! Yes. Yes... yes? Then... why did he start to feel this... bad feeling?

I was abandoned as a baby, like...my parents were captured by humans who didn't want me, but wanted them...and Jade found me. She took care of me. She's never abandoned any other Pokemon, like, ever!> She paused, then looked at him. <Plus, I'll get to know you better.>

The Wartortle found his eyes darting away as he mentally sighed. No way! That wasn't true at all! All humans were evil! EVIL! All they did was take and take and.... but then... why did that Bulbasaur seem happy with her place in the world? It... didn't make sense.

The Wartortle stopped a moment and frowned. <They raised me in captivity and then gave me to some kid who forced me to battle day in and day out and then decided I wasn't strong enough so he left me!> he shouted not even stopping to take a breath before he was done. After that, he crossed his arms in front of himself and made something of a pouting face.

._. A Gyarados... ya those things were pretty intimidating, really. After a few seconds, he nodded his head in understanding only to blink again at the Bulbasaur's comment. A.... Wartortle... meaning... him? Biting back the sudden amount of unnerved thoughts that were hitting him, the water type feel silent unsure of what to say.

The Wartortle seemed to hesitate still unsure of himself before finally sighing. Ok... he'd... go along with this for now... but if ... if she so much as hurt him this was over! D: Swimming towards shore fully, he finally got up out of the water.

The Wartortle managed a smile before disappearing into the pokeball. The ball rang in capture rather easily after that.

Species: Wartortle
Gender: Male
Ability: Rain Dish
Personality: This Wartortle tends to have a hard time dealing with others and is prone to attacking rather than asking questions later. He was apparently raised in captivity but abandoned by his trainer after that, and because of this, he is rather spiteful of most humans. He's still a tad wary of Jade but may warm up in time. He likes to battle quite a lot and relishes fighting to prove he is the best.
