The Gorebyss was rather surprised the Lucario came in after her, but this was her turf. The Force Palm did a bit of damage, but the Water-type was at home down here. Literally. Quickly, she charged the Lucario, finishing the Dive attack.

Suddenly, the Cleffa thought of something, and asked the Eevee a very deep question. <...I threw a rock at the pink monster because it scared me...why did the human do that to it?>

Lucario saw the dive attack coming just a little too late. He moved out of the way, but just not quite quick enough, so the attack did a little damage. Lucario jumped outta the water, then took a few deep breaths, and used Aura Sphere on the Gorebyss for leading him into a trap like that. He hoped Shinji would use a pokeball on it already.
