In the Cavern(Mod/Open)

Shinji walked down the Cavern, marveling at the crystal formations. It was pretty cool. He came down here looking for some pokemon, and maybe he could meet someone. The Cavern was huge though, so he sent Splendor, his Lucario, exploring. "Splendor, go explore tis cavern, and come back to me if you find anything, ok?" "ok." Splendor replied, then ran off. Shin kept looking around the cavern, and then grabbed his cell phone and called his Dad.

The phone rang, then his Dad oicked up on the 3rd ring. "Hello?" He said. "Dad, it's me, Shin. Yeah, um, I'm down here at the Caverns, and I just wanted to say it's really cool, and you should come over here." "Um, no buddy, I can't right now, I'm kinda busy with the company and stuff, but I will later, okay?" his dad replied. "Okay Dad, see ya later. Bye." Shin then looked around the cavern, and once again marveled at the crystal formations.

Erianna entered the Crystalline Cavern with her Eevee, Seria, walking beside her. The girl didn't get to far before she saw a boy, just a little older then herself, that seemed to be looking at the crystals. After a quick glance around the mute girl attempted to walk past the boy undetected, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

Shin heard small footsteps, like someone was trying to sneak up on him, and spun around. He then saw a girl, and she looked pretty cute too. He smiled, and said "Hello, I'm Shin. Nice to meet you." And held out his hand.

[Willow]

Erianna froze for a moment when Shinji called out to her, so it looked like her plan had failed. Attempting to be polite the mute girl shook the boys hand and gave him a nod of greeting. As she did this a lock of white hair that mostly covered the left side of her face moved away, revealing a long and thin angry red scar that went from her hairline, over her left eye, and down to her chin.

Shinji saw the scar, then said "Ouch. What happened?" He also wondered why she was being so quiet. She hadn't said anything. "And uh, what's your name?" He said. He thought this girl was probably shy, and thought it best to try and befriend her.

In responce Erianna pointed her finger at her throat and shook her head, trying to explain that she was mute. She didn't even bother trying to explain how she got her scar at the moment, maybe she could write it out or something later if he still wanted to know.

Shinji nodded, realizing the girl was mute. He then wondered what her name was. "What's your-oh sorry. I forgot. He then rumaged in his bag, handed her pen and paper, then asked her "What's your name? And do you know sign language?"

Erianna shook her head when asked if she knew sign language, she figured it was just a waste of time. She then scrawled her name on the piece of paper before handing it to Shinji. For someone of a noble bloodline she had pretty bad handwriting, but then again it was a quick and rushed thing.

Shin took the paper, then read it. "Ah, so your name's Erianna. Tell me, do you like catching pokemon?" Shin asked her. He kinda liked this girl. And if she responded yes then he would maybe go and catch pokemon with her. He decided to only ask her yes or no questions from then on, as they would be easy for her to answer.

[Willow]

Erianna nodded wildly at this, she loved Pokemon! The mute girl snapped her fingers three times which made her Eevee, Seria, run up to her. She had trained her Pokemon to come when she snapped her fingers three times due to a lack of a voice, and it worked fine. Seria looked up at Shin and chirped, "hiya!" With that she scampered off, back over to the river.

Shinji watched her nod, then snap her fingers and an Eevee came out of the cavern. It then chirped, "Hiya!", and Shinji jumped back in surprize. He thought only Lucario's could talk. He then called out "Splendor! Come meet my new friend!" And after a minute, his Lucario, Splendor, came running out to meet them. "Now just so you know Splendor, this girl is mute." Shinji then stepped back and let Splendor talk. She stepped forwards, then said "I am Splendor. Nice to meet you." And then she bowed.

[KARP KARP!]

Nearby, a Diglett poked his head out of the ground, curious. Farther off, a Cleffa was skipping rocks across a large pool of water, oblivious to the humans. Above, a Woobat flew by, as if he had somewhere to be.

Suddenly, a Gorebyss popped up out of the water, startling the poor Cleffa. Unsure of what to do, the small normal type tossed a rock at her, hitting the Water type on the head, then turned to run. Spotting the humans, she froze, looking from the Gorebyss to the humans; terrified. Now what?

Meanwhile the Gorebyss just blinked. What was that for? ;-;

Shinji decided to catch some pokemon with Erianna. He said, "Splendor! Go, use Quick attack!" And pointed at the Gorebyss, then watched as Lucario ran at the Gorebyss and used her Quick Attack. Now Shinji just hoped it would work......

[Willow]

Erianna smiled at Splendor only to get distracted by the Gorebyss and Cleffa. The mute girl rushed over to the startled fairy Pokemon with Seria rushing behind her. She stood in front of the wild Pokemon, about three feet away from it, and crouched down to its level with a soft smile on her face. She then slowly reached out her hand, some Pokemon identified people by scent.

[KARP KARP!]

The Gorebyss was startled by the Quick Attack. First the rock and now this. It just wasn't her day... Looking at the Lucario, she formed a powerful Hydro Pump. People were so mean to her! D:

Meanwhile, the Cleffa walked up to the girl nervously, putting her hand into the girl's outstretched one. <It was so scary! I was skipping rocks, then the monster popped out, then it was attacked by the other monster, and humans are scary and I don't know what to dooooooo!> she cried, though to human ears, all it sounded like was: "Cleffa! Cleffa cleff cleff a cleff cleff cleeeeeeeeeffff!"

Splendor took the blast right in the face, then looked at the Gorebyss in shock. It was going to be ready next time. "Splendor, use Dark Pulse!" Shinji cried, and then Lucario sent a very powerful Dark Pulse right at Gorebyss, and Shinji then got a Pokeball ready.

[Willow]

Erianna gave a soft smile at the Cleffa, while she could not understand what she was saying the poor thing sounded sad. Meanwhile the ever-childish Seria exclaimed in her native language, "oh, that sounds awful! Cara or Marina would protect me if that happened, they said I'm the baby."

[KARP KARP!]

Eep! The Gorebyss was hit by the Dark Pulse, cringing in pain. This was so unfair! All she wanted was to see what was going on, then she got ambushed. Thinking quickly, the Water-type Dove underwater.

The Cleffa gave a sniff, clinging to the human's arm, then looked at the Eevee. <..Why are they so mean and scary?>

Shinji saw the Gorebyss dive under the water, then got an idea. "Lucario, hold your breath and go under!" Shinji said, then Lucario took a very deep breath and jumped in the pool, then saw the Gorebyss. Lucario then used a powerful Force Palm on it, trying to get it into a state where Shinji could cath it.

Erianna ran her free hand over the Cleffa's soft fur, attempting to calm it down. There where not to many thing that she could not do, many things that she was afraid to do. However, she could make a difference, she could try to calm down and help this Cleffa. Seria meanwhile frowned and said in a sad tone, "I don't know. It not fair though, people shouldn't be mean. That way people get hurt, they get hurt really bad. I don't like bad hurts....." Like Erianna feared many things Seria did not understand many things, but she did understand pain.
