Erianna weaved in between the trees with a smile on her face. No Pokemon where out with her at the moment, she just wanted to be by herself for now. She liked the Wayward Forest, the snow on the trees, the smell of fresh air, there was just something amazing about the place. With a silent sigh she walked over to a tree and leaned against it, silently taking in the sights for a moment.

Suddenly a buzzing sound seemed to echo through the forest are before falling into silence again. Then it came once more only louder than before. It continued to grow louder and louder, yet the question of what the creature thatw as making the sound was remained hidden. It continued to grow louder and louder still, yet as soon as it sounded like it was directly upon the girl, the sound cut off sharply.

Erianna looked around wildly, wondering what on earth was making that buzzing sound. Relief flooded over her when the buzzing suddenly came to a stop, however she was not about to relax. The mute girl took out a pokeball and opened it, releasing her Vulpix, Cara. Cara glanced around and mumbled, "snow, great. So I'm assuming that there are some frosty little guys hanging around here somewhere....."

Not far off, the sound of running could be heard, and the buzzing was growing louder again. A Snover suddenly broke through the brush being chased by a Beedrill. The large insect wasn't even supposed to be here! thought the Snover as he continued to run. The slightly frozen irritated bug pokemon would probably have agreed with the Snover had he not been too busy attacking the damn thing that had nearly frozen him alive!

Erianna took a horrified step back when she saw the Beedrill chasing the Snover, what on earth was a Beedrill doing in the Wayward Forest! Well, ether way, that Snover looked like it needed help. Erianna gave Cara a quick nod before pointing at the Beedrill, silently telling her Pokemon to attack. Cara nodded at her trainer before she turned to the Beedrill, aiming a Fire Bast attack at the bug type.

The Beedrill dodged the Fire Blast and seemed to stop for a second at the warmth that had passed him. ;-; That had felt so good! Instead of this freezing horrible air! After a moment, the bug looked at Cara. <That felt so good... thanks... c-can you do it again? I'm so cold...> he whimpered a bit. The Snover ended up running directly behind Erianna and hid there quietly. Maybe if he didn't move, the Beedrill would forget he was there.

A look of shock formed on Cara's face, the Beedrill liked it!? The Vulpix turned to her trainer for instructions, wondering what she should do. Erianna nodded at her Pokemon, if the was so cold that it wanted to get hit by a fire attack that was fine with her. Cara then turned back to the Beedrill and said, "um, okay, sure." With that she aimed a Flamethrower attack at the Beedrill.

The Beedrill stepped away just enough to avoid the flame aspect of the Flamethrower coming at him, but the rush of heat in the air made him smile. Ahhhhhhhhh so waaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm! The large bee pokemon breathed inwards and exhaled in another second. <You don't know how good that feels. I hate this blasted cold!> the Beedrill explained. The Snover continued to cower and hide.

With a curious tilt of her head Cara asked, "what are you doing here, anyway?" The Vulpix had never heard of Beedrills in the Wayward Forest, or anywhere up north for that matter. It was just plain strange to find a Beedrill here, why one would even want to come here was beyond her. This place is so cold, no place for a bug-type. No wonder its freezing. Suddenly a idea struck her and with a grin Cara used something that was normally used to strengthen fire-type moves, Sunny Day. Meanwhile, Erianna turned around and crouched down to the Snover's level before offering it her hand.

The Sunny Day seemed to make the Beedrill smile greatly at the warmth. <I got separated from my swarm back home and just kept getting more and more lost =x= and then somehow I wound up here in all this cold and> the Beedrill shook his head both tiredly and mildly sad. The Snover seemed to blink at the girl's actions but then offered his hand back rather slowly.

Cara exclaimed, "thats horrible! Erianna tends to get lost a lot, its like her thing." Erianna shot Cara a quick glare at this before turning back to the Snover and lightly patting its head. She then tilted her head to the side slightly while shrugging her shoulders, as if trying to ask whats wrong.

The Beedrill nodded and sighed. He would probably have cried if he didn't already know that it would freeze on his face and make his face hurt. After a few seconds, he shivered a bit and looked around. <You wouldn't happen to know the way out of here would you?> he asked quietly after a moment. The Snover looked at the girl and noticed her motions. <I... was just kinda scared.... yah 'ee I....thought he was ah gonna eat me er somethin'> he answered back.

In response Cara took in a deep breath, letting the scents of the forest wash over her. The first thing she smelt was the fresh, crisp scent of snow. The plants fallowed closely, then all sorts of wild Pokemon. Eventually she smelt something in the distance, human food, and where there was human food there was humans, where there where humans there where roads leading down south. With a grin the Vulpix exclaimed, "yeah, I think I do!" Meanwhile Erianna gave the Snover a nod of understanding.

The Bedrill seemed to lighten up considerably at this and looked ready to jump up and down. <Really?> he asked with a large smile on his face. Oh this would help so much if she knew! The Snover seemed to turn his head to one side. Why wasn't the girl speaking? He tended to understand at least a bit of human language, yet why wasn't.... ._. ....?

After taking another breath Cara grinned and gave a nod, she had the scent! The Vulpix gave a quick glance around and chirped, "yep, I have the scent, fallow me!" She had just begun trotting up in to the northern parts of the forest when she remembered her trainer and called, "Eri, come on!"
Erianna frowned when the Snover tipped his head to one side, it seemed to be thinking about something. Well, most people would have probably said something by now.... Figuring that that might be it she pointed to her throat and shook her head, trying to silently say that she was mute. At that point she heard Cara calling, telling her that they would be moving. With a nod Erianna stood up and fallowed her Pokemon and the Beedrill, keeping an eye out for any more wild Pokemon and the Snover should it choose to fallow.

The Beedrill grinned and followed suit quickly. The Snover seemed to stare at the girl and then nodded slowly as he understood. Ah D: She couldn't speak! Hm .x. Following the group now as well, he kept up for reasons he wasn't quite sure of. Farther off, a Deerling could be seen stripping a bit of bark from a tree to eat. A Smoochum was wandering around as well and looking in every direction at once. However, as for other pokemon, there didn't seem to be any around.

Cara smiled as she walked, cool air dancing around her. Some might thing the fire types would not really like cold places, however Cara loved them. It just felt so refreshing, the way the cold air swirled through her fur. Plus ice types tended to hang around in colder places, and ice types where at a disadvantage against fire types.
Erianna ignored the Deerling and Smoochum, they weren't hurting anything after all. Besides, she wasn't currently looking to catch ether of those Pokemon. With a slight smile the white-haired girl turned around and began walking backwards while waving happily at the Snover.

The Beedrill simply continued to follow, and so did the Snover for reasons he was still unsure of. What appeared to be a large hill of snow could be seen not too far off. However, if one looked carefully, a patch of green could be seen that didn't look exactly like any sort of grass. Farther off, a Stunky could be seen digging into the snow rather quickly. A Snorunt could be seen as well, yet it was somewhat hard to tell what exactly he was doing.

Cara continued to walk, simply walking past the hill with the strange green patch. However, Erianna noticed it when she turned back around and couldn't help but be interested. With a gesture to the Snover telling it the fallow her the mute girl picked up a stick laying on the forest floor and proceeded to approach the green patch. Her hands where shaking with the nervousness and fear she was feeling, however her curiosity was to much. Without giving herself time to think twice she did the natural thing for a curious teenager, she poked the subject of interest with a stick.

The Beedrill simply continued heading on with Cara. The Snover hesiatted but then moved and followed Eri to the hill with the green patch. Suddenly the patch moved, and an arm could be seen. An Abomasnow sat up and brushed the snow off of himself before looking over at the ones that had woken him up. The Snover seemed to brighten up considerably and waved a hand to his evolution. The Abomasnow blinked and waved back.
