In this thread, Pokemon may be Shadowed out of character.

Up to four Pokemon may be shadowed per week; a week runs Sunday to Saturday EST for uniformity. Two attempts may be made per day (in total, not per person). No member may get more than one Pokemon shadowed per week. Each Pokemon typically has a 2/3 chance to be successfully shadowed. Riolu and some specific strong-willed Pokemon to be determined by mod discretion will have a 1/3 chance, and currently Lucario cannot be shadowed, though our scientists have been working on this. Due to lack of full information on Lovrina's research with XD001, Era's team has been unable as of yet to achieve consistent deep-shadowing: that which is much more difficult to purify and alters a Pokemon's appearance. However, there seems to be about a one in ten chance of being able to do so. (If you don't WANT this chance; you can guarantee NOT-getting it by request.)

There are two ways to get a Pokemon Shadowed.

Within a few cities there have recently cropped up new shops claiming they can apply their super secret training methods to Pokemon to make them stronger and more obedient in only days for a mere $300 training fee. (Funds do not actually go to any player of the Shadow Lab crew; it's just a standard shop fee.)

Of course, if you are part of, meet someone who is a part of, or in-RP find out about the Shadow Lab, you can also get Pokemon shadowed here directly. For those who hunt down the lab, Yue may still ask a fee either in money or in the form of a Pokemon. For employees, friends of employees, and business associates, Shadows are usually free.

Any shadowing may be done OOC or in-RP. If using the shop method or if among those who could just request shadowing, you may either simply post the character and the Pokemon's complete info here, or a short IC post may be made here noticing a shop and fully writing the character dropping it off if you like. However, if you intend to have an IC action more than just the singular post (which will also be the case if hunting down the lab), please make a thread of it. Any shadowfications which happen in other threads should be recorded here to ensure the weekly limit is kept up.

Personality: Calmer than he was as a Dratini, Jet is still rather shy and prefers to be around Yue rather than anywhere else. He dislikes the dark but can sometimes stand it if absolutely necessary. He is prone to a new rage within him whenever Yue is attacked directly and won't calm his rage until whatever was attacked is out cold.

Personality: Generally a soulless automaton, Jet is slightly prone to Reverse Mode more than Hyper and becomes excessively violent toward literally anything but his trainer and a select fewest of his teammates (unless they provoke him) when he enters it. In Hyper mode, his judgement can sometimes become clouded, resulting in friendly fire, but mostly he just becomes drunk on power and hungry for glory.

Under this, he was once rather edgy, but has calmed down significantly after evolution, though is still rather shy and prefers to be around Yue rather than anywhere without him. He dislikes the dark but can sometimes stand it if absolutely necessary. He is prone to a new rage within him whenever Yue is attacked directly and won't calm his rage until whatever was attacked is out cold.

Personality: Born and raised of Cipher, Stormy has been ingrained with little personality in exchange for absolute obedience. A Shadow once herself, though only briefly before she was removed from the project to be given to Kali, it seems either much of the ideals stuck with her or Stormy simply emulated the behavior intentionally in hopes of gaining trainer favor. She will do whatever is asked of her if she trusts the person, never complains even if physically suffering, and overall blocks out any personal emotions for favor of a mechanical behavior around anyone who is not Kali, and Kali doesn't see much more. That is, she is obedient literally to a fault, as well as a bit naive, letting herself fall in harm's way rather than risk displeasing her humans.

Ability: Motor Drive
Personality: A rather perfect drone, Stormy rarely goes into either Hyper Mode or Reverse mode. However, when she does go into Hyper Mode, her attacks become more reckless often substituting control for how much electricity/power she can put out. With Reverse mode, she becomes violent but seems to be able to keep a certain level of control.

Under that, she is much her previous almost-drone self. Born and raised of Cipher, Stormy has been ingrained with little personality in exchange for absolute obedience. Personality: This Togekiss doesn't like to be a part of conflict, though he doesn't mind watching it. Or watching...anything, really. He's a bit of a voyeur. When things start to look rough, though, he gets out of there as fast as possible.

During Hyper Mode, he feels the need to prove his overpowered strength and will therefore attack the most powerful foe with his hardest hitting Shadow move despite what his trainer says. Under this, this Togekiss doesn't actually like to be a part of conflict, though he doesn't mind watching it. Or watching...anything, really. He's a bit of a voyeur. When things start to look rough, though, he gets out of there as fast as possible.

Ability: Levitate
Personality: Very proud and strong-willed, this Rotom believes herself the bravest Pokemon alive. She will face any challenge for any reason, be it a good one, because she was told to, or just to see if she can. She is utterly fearless; next to her, knights and ninjas alike look like cowards! ...What? NO being an ectoplasmic being who can phase in and out of solidity at will has nothing to do with this! You're just jealous of her courage! It is also worth noting that she has a rather strong obsession with spots. Any spots.

Personality: Extremely hateful of Jasmine and all of her pokemon, this Houndoom protects her children at all costs. She ignores orders when given to her and will often only fight when it is for her children's sake. She has a fiery personality when she does fight and won't go down easily.

Houndoom Successful - Deep Shadowed!

Personality: Generally a calm obedient fighting machine, Menoitios is rather prone to Reverse mode but rarely enters Hyper mode. In either case, she becomes rather unruly and may well attack Jasmine herself if used during these times. Naturally, this is due to the fact that past her Shadow exterior, she is extremely hateful of Jasmine and all of her Pokemon. This Houndoom protects her children at all costs. She ignores orders when given to her and will often only fight when it is for her children's sake. She has a fiery personality when she does fight and won't go down easily. However, it will be a long while before she can be purified to show this fully again.

Personality: A very aggressive Pokemon who loves to fight and especially bite. He seems to have a natural distaste for humans, and may lightly attack any aside from his trainer. After realizing what the training she put him into would have done, however, whether she knew so or not, he has even become fairly distrustful of her and is starting to question orders or lash out if talked to during a bad mood. He still likes other Pokemon well enough, however, and loves to swim just for fun.

This hybrid is deeply religious believing that Arceus is everything and not to be questioned under ANY circumstances, and he will often preach to other Pokemon on Arceus.

He is able to talk in minds, but just a tiny bit. He's usually very quiet when it does talk in somebody mind. In battle, he isn't the best at thinking on it's own, so it will listen to it's trainer.

Personality: This Munna is entirely mute. Unable to speak a word or make any sound, he still is somehow active. Not that he really cares to try to speak much considering he is very much a soulless drone. Quite the rare Shadow, he never enters Hyper Mode, and Reverse Mode is uncommon though not rare. When in this mode, he tends to just stop attacking and get a massive headache, and if he does attack it will be lashing back at anything that gets too close until the headache and usually entire mode has passed. Under this, he prefers to be constantly running around over sitting still. He is able to speak via telepathy (not to be confused with the Ability), but just a tiny bit. He's usually very quiet when he does try to talk in somebody's mind. In battle, he isn't the best at thinking on his own, so he will listen to his trainer diligently, but tends to follow directions not much further than their most literal translation.

Rosebud is really a nice pokemon, unlike the dark half of Wicked. She likes to help others, and hates obeying Wicked's dark half, but the only reason she does, it because she fears him turning her into a shadow pokemon, like he's said he would. She wants nothing more then her old Wicked to come back, but she doesn't see that happening.

Personality: Normally a very controllable drone, Rosebud goes more into Reverse Mode rather than Hyper Mode though both are rather common. During Reverse Mode, she's likely to ignore orders unless they are shadow moves and is prone to attacking with large scale attacks. During Hyper Mode, she's prone to more necklace attacks. Rosebud is really a nice pokemon, unlike the dark half of Wicked. She likes to help others, and hates obeying Wicked's dark half, but the only reason she does, it because she fears him turning her into a shadow pokemon, like he's said he would. She wants nothing more then her old Wicked to come back, but she doesn't see that happening.

Gender: Male
Ability: Super Luck
Personality: Unlike most other members of his species, this Togekiss is quick to anger and doesn't like to be disturbed when he is trying to sleep...or any other time for that matter. He has a stubborn streak a mile wide and will rarely ever listen to his trainer or anyone else who doesn't have his respect or trust, both of which are hard to earn. He does what he wants when he wants to do it and will often disobey direct orders given by his trainer if he doesn't think that there's a good reason to do said activity. He has little patience with babies or little kids and is prone to slapping them away with his wing (none too gently) or blatantly ignoring them. This Togekiss seems to think that he is better than anyone else including his trainer and holds a grudge against Yue for capturing him in the first place. As a result, he will often purposely vandalize whatever Yue happens to be working on or play mean pranks on him just to try and get back at the man for having the gall of capturing the perfection that is him.

Personality: Gaia has chanced a little bit with time. This Raichu is now more sure of herself and has become used to the lab and doesn't mind the dark feelings any more. Though she is still rather kind Gaia has started to pick up on the bad habits from other pokemon in the lab. But also with becoming a Raichu she has become a bit more aggressive as well.
