"C'mon, Shad. Keep it up and you might evolve and rape some ice types." Shadi.. was not exactly encouraged by that wording, cringing a bit more instead from the thought of anything so heinous. She did.. more or less know how the girl meant it, though, and huffed a sigh before forcing herself to lauch another Brick Break, this time upon the head that was biting her. She was relieve to see the Spinarak at least.. Poor thing. Kali finally caught sight of it now, too, though it seemed to be heading away. For a moment, she considered leashing another Pokemon to help, but... Ah, he had an Ariados. Spinarak was no big deal.

The Brick Break nailed the Zweilous and caused the dark dragon to cry out before falling back and left struggling for consciousness. "Zwe..." he (they?) hissed in unison as both heads stopped bickering at least for the moment and seemed to come into some sort of compromise. Forcing itself up in a tired ragged way, the Zweilous shook both heads before forming another Ice Fang and attacking once more. He was tired, but... D< Not gonna give up yet! Successfully scurrying away, the Spinarak breathed out thankful to not be dead.

Up flew the wall of energy almost before Shadi thought about it, and once the Zweilous collided with it Kali ordered. "Try to hit it both; X-Scissor."
Well.. That just seemed a little excessive... But she really didn't want to get bitten by those heads and.. ooh right! If Kali was going to catch this dragon, it would have a really nice home after this. That made it worth it, right? <Sorry boys..> she murmured as green energy filled her claws. <You'll thank me later.>

The X-Scissor nailed the Zweilous hard and fast causing both heads to cry out as the body itself fell back then. After a short bit of struggling both in motion and for general consciousness, the dark dragon finally fainted from stress. Well that was that, neh?

The pokeball sealed around the Zweilous and shook very little before ringing in capture.
Name: Species: Zweilous Gender: Male Ability: Hustle Personality: This Zwelious suffers a bit from a slight split personality disorder given. Given the fact that he has two heads, they often take forms in both heads and fight, bicker, and complain to one another frequently. Even as a whole, he's generally very violent and prone to attacking maliciously against anything that happens to irritate or bother him in any form or fashion. He can actually be calmed down greatly by the sounds of music and adores classical music despite having rarely heard it in the past.
After that, things fell quiet.

Off in an indent of the tunnel area, a Spearow could be seen nesting peacefully. A Pidgey appeared to be nesting in another indent much like the Spearow. On the ground in the middle of the tunnel, a Swablu appeared to be pecking at something rather furiously. If one looked close enough, she could see a frantic looking Joltik trying to avoid each peck. Shesh, poor bugs seemed to be regularly tormented by the other pokemon in the area here... It was as if some horrible puppet master of fate had some sort of prejudice against bug pokemon....

Speaking of meals, what the hell was that Swablu pecking at, ro-- mm?! Yellow! She almost wanted to say she didn't know how she'd missed it, but given it was so tiny.. Still! That was definitely a Joltik, right?
Becoming suddenly aggressive in determination not to lose her prey (or rather to steal it from the Swablu, technically, but it didn't exactly go through Kali's mind quite like that), the girl fetched her prized PokeBall and leashed her Electivire. "Storm, fend off that Swablu!" she barked. This way, not only did she have Shadi free and available if the Joltik tried to fight and a clear type advantage in two ways, but there was a chance the sheer intimidation factor of Stormy would work, saving her time dealing with the little cotton ball. Kali had several Altaria as well as a Swablu, after all; she certainly didn't need another unless it looked special.
Stormy stood contemplating the order just a moment before nodding, a tiny but low sound escaping the back of her throat. Unbeknownst to Kali, that was about the extent of her communication skills, and in retrospect she really should probably start trying to avoid that much if she ever wanted her trainer to realize that. The electric yeti hardly felt sorry for herself or anything (in fact, right now, she really didn't feel much at all, but just in general) but... it did get very frustrating when she had to try to carry out an order involving---- .__. Oh shit wut. While this whole general thought process had been a tiny hum in the depths of the Electivire's subconscious, it had somehow managed to spark a mental scenario. In her imagination, Kali had ordered her to speak to someone in this Shadow state, and she was neither able to carry out the command nor figure out a way around it with her mentality so blocked. This hypothetical dilemma sent her suddenly thrashing a bit before firing off a wild Discharge at everything.
Recognizing the signs as she'd begun to flail, Kali cursed under her breath and immediately ducked behind Shadi (who naturally went unscathed), managing to avoid... at least most of the blast. She'd gotten a bit singed, but nothing that wouldn't be fine by tomorrow. Peeking back out when the rather lengthy attack at last subsided, Kali sweatdropped almost as heavily as Shadi. "Fucking hell, Storm...." she muttered, then looking around to survey the damage of the beast's Hyper Mode.
Deep down, Shadi wondered if the research she knew Kali was involved in had anything to do with that incredibly uncharacteristic outburst (as well as the yeti's general eerie silence, given she hadn't been around long enough to know that predated this). Gulping slightly, she resolved to be even more obedient to her trainer for fear she might otherwise end up the same way. ...Rather ironic, considering.

The Discharge quite literally hit everything. The first thing it hit was the Swablu, and he quite literally fainted on contact falling back in a state of unconsciousness while the Joltik didn't take as bad damage from the attack still cried out in a horrendous howl in pain before shaking her head. The Spearow was struck as well and fainted on contact not before uttering a squeak of sorts. The Pidgey let out a quiet whimpering sound before fainting as well as the electricity struck her. Somewhere in the world, a bird lover just hissed.

She... had a Pidgeot, a Fearow, and some Altaria, and had no desire whatsoever to take any of the birds, but... Wow that just sucked. She wasn't one to get all pouty over such a thing, but it did seem kind of pointless. Sighing, she stood up and called Stormy's name several times in the manner of a Betelgeuse mantra to snap her out of her Hyper Mode before recalling her, then looked down to the poor little bug that was the most fortunate victim of the outburst. And here she'd heard Joltik absorbed electricity. Mm... Well, she supposed that really was an overload compared to the static it normally ate, huh.. Poor thing.
Approaching cautiously, she lowered her voice to something small and sweet. "Sorry about that, little one.." she cooed. Very little one.. Actually, despite recalling from school that it was the smallest Pokemon, the Joltik's size really surprised Kali, and she couldn't help but fawn just slightly at how surprisingly cute it really was, which admittedly helped her facade greatly. "But those big bad birdies are gone now, right?" Part three of why attacking the Swablu first was a good idea~ "I was so worried when I saw that mean Swablu coming after you like that. It must be tough living out here with so many big hungry Pokemon.." She kept a safe enough distance all the while, but every so often took just a step or two slightly closer, not wanting to spook the (adorable) little fuzzbug.

The Joltik quivered a little fearful of getting attacked by something bigger still, yet when Stormy was called and recalled, she relaxed a little but still kept an eye now on Kali. As the woman spoke, the Joltik seemed to watch her carefully. "Tik..." she said rather quietly agreeing. She... did get attacked a lot by birds .x. and... and they were gone now.... So then ^3^ she'd actually been saved by this woman? It seemed so! "Tik!" she said quickly recovering from her frantic state into something lighter.

"Well, I'm glad you're safe for now." Sighing softly, she glanced back toward the mouth of the cavelet. "It's too bad you don't live somewhere like my home.. Not many predators at all, and nice and safe and enclosed. No pesky birds flying in and out." She turned fully toward the exit now, crossing her arms and nodding resolutely. "You'd probably really like all the machines, too. We have lots and lots of them, and lots and lots of Electric-types in general for that matter." She smiled back at the bug sweetly, hoping it would draw its own conclusion.

A quite literal spark of curiosity flared in the Joltik, and some of the air became slightly charged as a result. "Tik," she answered back nodding her head. It was kinda sad that she couldn't find somewhere safe like this girl's---- o3o. Was... that an offer? The Joltik slightly turned her head to one side wondering if that could possibly be true.

Maybe with the next one she'd change it up and be the needy lonely girl to guilt her prey, or maybe she could snark her way to a new Pokemon. The Joltik reached out warmly to poke the pokeball and disappeared inside.
Name: Species: Jolik Gender: Female Ability: Compoundeyes Personality: Though she has a great fear of flying type pokemon eating her, this Joltik is actually rather brave when it comes to doing high risk operations (that don't involve the feathery beasts, of course). She naturally likes to climb into tunnels, vents, and other small tight areas and is most comoftrbale in these spots. She's very open about her emotions, and most of her emotions are extreme in nature. She can be super happy or super depressed but rarely stays anywhere in the middle of this.
Ah well that went nicely now didn't it? A few of the bird pokemon that had been electrocuted were coming back to consciousness, yet none of them moved for fear of being attacked by the electrical yeti again. For the most part, it was rather quiet..... However........
As if Kali's luck was determined to hold up, a Noctowl could be seen flying out from the tunnel. However, the owl pokemon's coloring was indeed different from most. Rather than wearing colors, he actually carried an absence of color being solid black in nature. Well now, hello Melanism....

Taking a battle stance, she opened her mouth to bark an order before remembering.... Shadi couldn't use Ice Beam.. Why did she not have Siavush again?
Well shit she needed some way to get the bird's attention before it just flew right off. Uh.. what special attacks did Drilbur even know? ... And FUCKING HELL why did they not study Unova Pokemon more in school? Honestly it wasn't as though they'd magically spawned into existence so why the other four primary "native" regions got so much more attention she'd never know. D< Motherfuckitfurgaraffikrak. Huffing a heavy sigh, Kali mentally raced through whatever she could think of the mole should know, only able at the moment to recall ground moves that could reach a distance, which the bird would shake off with annoyance in a best case scenario. She growled slightly before finally perking up with intrigue as she thought of one. Quickly covering her ears tight, she barked (with a bit of an internal echo by her own hearing), "Shadi, Metal Sound."

The metal sound's vibrations bounced off the cave like a spring and caused it to not only amplify the sound but rock the cave ever so slightly. The Noctowl was hit by the sound waves and seemed to be momentarily stunned by the vibrations before he fell to the ground having not been able to keep himself in the air successfully. Shaking his form, the bird made a sort of 'whoo' sound before jumping into the air once again taking flight and issuing out a Twister in retaliation.
