The girl young woman flew upon her Shiny Flygon as usual toward the red stone structure marking the beautiful desert. Things had been fairly quiet as of late, and it was enjoyable, but with all the lab work they'd been up to she hadn't been out hunting much lately at all. She really hadn't had too much time. When they weren't working, she was studying or listening to Yue lecture or demonstrate; and of course she wasn't about to give up any of their leisure time together just to make their already massive army slightly bigger.
Today, however, she'd found herself with a bit of spare time again, and decided to come out here. It wasn't too very far, at least on dragon back, and there were two particular families out here she was interested in. Of course, they weren't nearly the only things in the area she might want. As they neared, Kali spotted a fair-sized opening on the face of the cliff, directing Kjaerlighet toward it. The dragonfly complied, and once inside her trainer dismounted and recalled her, opting instead to leash a Drilbur as her companion for the day.
"Ready for some fun, Shadi?" she asked. In response, Saharashadi just shrugged. If her trainer really wanted it and they weren't attacking harmless innocent bystanders or something. And how her trainer wanted it. Siavush was amazing; he really truly was. But the Weavile was unruly, and as dearly as she loved that fire in him at times, Kali had recently come to the conclusion she would dearly like something else that could somewhat mimic his battle style for those fights in which he was at a disadvantage or she didn't actually want to obliterate their foe. After a little research, an Excadrill had seemed a glorious option.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

A Hoothoot could be seen sleeping on what may have once been a fallen tree limb that was now eroding into the rock around it. Not fa off from that, a Karrablast was running around like a chicken with his head cut off and only seemed to stop for a good second or two to look for something before panicking again and starting to run around once more. A very distraught looking Weedle was moving rather slowly in a somewhat diagonal path towards Kali.

She simply brushed it off as a side effect of her pleasant mood and moved on however, soon snorting to suppress a laugh as she saw the Karrablast. The hell? She really intended to move right along then, but upon remembering the ease with which a Karrablast could be evolved (assuming one had the Shelmet required) she shrugged and decided she may as well. Making her way cautiously toward it, she called out softly, "Hey. Where's the fire?" The amusement in her voice didn't seem to want to hide completely, but she did try at least. Shadi just followed, a little intrigued herself at just what had the Pokemon so upset.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

The Karrablast froze a moment and looked sideways at Kali and eyed her suspiciously. Was she trying to find it first?! NO! He couldn't have that! What to do what to do... Distract her! Ya that's good... but now how to do it... Hmmmm "Kar!" he said suddenly pointing far off as though actually directing the woman towards the fire. However, if Kali looked, she wouldn't actually see anything out of the ordinary.

And after about two seconds she looked back to him with a rather blank expression. "I can't see from here. You're going to have to show me if something's wrong." She wasn't necessarily suspicious she was being sent on a wild goose chase, though her natural paranoia ensured that possibility was probably floating around somewhere in her mind. More though, she just didn't feel like scouring without a clue what the bug was actually trying to direct her too. There certainly didn't appear to be an actual fire, especially here in a cave, but he could have gotten something stuck somewhere or have a friend who got knocked out or there could be a bully he was avoiding or who knew what else.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

The Karrablast frowned greatly and kept looking from the spot he had pointed and back to Kali. >> Oi this wasn't working! Hm.... "Kar...blast," he sighed trying to think of something else. Well... if she was actually trying to help and not trying to steal his treasure o3o! D: But that couldn't be right! EVERYONE wanted HIS treasure! She was just supper good at deceiving! o3o Oh ... she was probably sent here by another pokemon that was trying to steal his treasure earlier D8 AACKIACNAS! What was he supposed to do? Oh dear oh dear.... Looking around and then frowning greatly, he made a few steps in the direction he had pointed and then stepped back and looked ta Kali before repeating the motion several times over before finally tripping and falling on his face on accident.

After yet a few more seconds than she really should have taken, she began to trod casually toward him with a "You okay?" She had to admit, the bug was amusing if nothing else. Good thing too. The Karrablast sighed and slowly got up again brushing himself off and nodding at Kali's words. Hey o3o. She...she'd asked if he was ok .x. even... even if she said it late! That meant she cared right? RIGHT? Of course. Grinning, he finally seemed to calm down before making a motion with his arms to signify that the object he was looking for was rather small and possibly round.

She got round, and possibly small; but in her mind, this described the bully he was afraid of or some other scary thing. ... For a brief moment, the image of a toonish bomb came to mind, causing her to flinch in shock for just a fraction of a second before sniffing a pitiful breath of a laugh at herself upon realizing exactly how ridiculous that would be. Oh dear oh dear oh dear! They were all after his treasure nooooooooo!!!!!! "Kaaaaaaarrrrrrrr," he cried in dismay. ;-; Oh he was never going to find it. The humans were just going to steal it up from him and he'd never see it again.

With an exasperated sigh, she turned back to Shadi, who had just been trailing along all the while. "I don't suppose you could help me figure out what it's so worked up about?" She'd give it another minute or two tops. There was really no sense battling the thing if she could help it.. unless, of course, battling it would be faster than just working it out.
Looking up to Kali a moment, Shadi blinked before nodding and stepping forward a bit more. She stared a few moments at the Karrablast before finally raising a pudgy clawed arm a bit and giving a delayed <...Hey. ... Upon being spoken to, the Karrablast suddenly stopped and seemed to calm a little. <I uh... hi... > he managed after a moment. <I...I don't suppose you've seen a treasure around here have you .x.?> he asked looking at the Drilbur almost hopefully. He tried not to get his hopes too far up but but but but........ He couldn't help it.... <It's .... really really shiny and round....> he mumbled a bit quieter to himself.

The Karrablast hesitated for a moment looking around before leaning closer to the Drillbur was though he were about to disclose a great secret. <An Oran berry!> he answered back before leaning back out again and nodding his head repeatedly. Well... that was slightly anti-climatic now wasn't it? Well not for the Karrablast who was pretty dead serious about it.

Well... She supposed she could still help him out, and was about to when- "Any luck Shadi?" Kali asked, about half from impatience and half from guessing by their actions he'd told her something. The Drilbur looked up and nodded, then began working out how she could conve-- Oh. Hey that worked. Smiling lightly, just a little bit proud of herself for her quick thinking, she reached down to the cave floor, and with one extended claw carved surprisingly easily in the rock a picture of what looked like... some sort of apple or short-stemmed Cheri. It was enough to get the gist across, though, and Kali blinked. "What?" she almost said as much as asked.
Shadi hesitated again for a moment, then put her claws to her forehead like a hand and began looking around to indicate 'searching' before nodding back at the fruit picture and looking up to Kali. The girl... didn't look as amused as Shadi had hoped. Rather, she looked annoyed and possibly in disbelief. "...It's looking for some fruit..?" ..Well, a Berry specifically, but Shadi nodded. Kali's head hung sharply for a moment as she sighed resisted the urge to bring a palm to it. Afterward putting on a bright if painfully fake to those who knew what to look for smile, she forced a tiny laugh at the Karrablast. "You silly~ I'm a human! We have huuuge stores! With aallll the foods you could ever want." She glanced down to the Drilbur. "Isn't that right, Shadi?"
The Drilbur blinked, but quickly nodded. She hadn't actually been to the store, but she knew Kali did get lots of food from somewhere, and she was apparently asking for her help in proving this to the bug. Kali was pleased, and pulled out a PokeBall to half-offer as her attention turned back to him. "If you came along with me, we could go together and you could find all the fruits you wanted~" As if. ... ...... OH SWEET ARCEUS IN HEAVEN! The Karrablast's eyes shimmered like animated stars at the sheer image of such a mass amount of fruit as the woman described. His entire body seemed to twitch as a rather huge smile widened itself across his face. FFFFF<<<<3333 Literally jumping up and down as the pokeball was produced, he pressed it and disappeared inside. The ball itself rang in capture almost instantly. Well, ok, that was quick ._. kind of...
Name: Species: Karrablast Gender: Male Ability: Shed Skin Personality: This Karrablast seems to be quite a worrier, really. He frets over the small things and can get worked up into a panicked frenzy rather quickly. However, just as much emotion also goes into jubilation when he has something to be happy about. His emotional pendulum is rather unstable, but he does at least try and control himself in some instances. He loves fruits and berries often doing anything from cleaning to battling in order to receive such a reward.
Suddenly the sound of something rumbling deeper down could be heard. However, a squawking of sorts could also be heard form the entrance. Hm.. which to go to?

The girl flinched and double-took between the directions. If she'd brought Siavush, she would have had him check out the squawking while she took Shadi deeper, but the only other Pokemon she trusted to battle with no instruction was Kjaerlighet, and that only because she'd once ended up doing so by circumstance and managed well. Even then, though, it was far less than her faith in Siavush, and today even more than most days she did not want Kjaer battling unless necessary, as that long climb down did not exactly sound appealing (or plausible without falling to her death or if lucky severe injury).
Well, dammit, she had to make a choice then. So... Squawking, especially coming from outside, led her to believe it was some sort of bird. Meanwhile, the rumble could have been anything... though most caves in this rock were not extremely deep, and it could have also come from outside or a nearby cave and just echoed deceivingly. She didn't think this had been the case, but it was possible.. Hm.. In the end, though, she decided to take her chances. After reviewing which Pokemon she could remember which were said to live here, she decided a Braviary or a few other birds did sound epic, but that her primary objective today was not a bird and the chance of it should come first. Thus, deeper into the cave she went, her eager-to-please Drilbur waddling close behind.

Deeper into the hole of sorts, a Zweilous finally came into sight. Both heads were biting and bickering at one another while the body seemed to be ramming into different sides of the tunnel causing a short small rumbling here and there. Neither head seemed to notice Kali coming just yet, thankfully. Just behind the Zweilous, a very intimidated looking Spinarak was twitching and desperately trying to find a way around the two-clashing-head-one-bodied-creature thing without getting A. stepped on or B. eaten.

Quietly, she looked for the nearest rock or partial crevice in the wall to hide behind or in, the glanced between Shadi and the Zweilous and ordered, "Shadi, Ic--" ... Shit. Shadi's look reminded her Drilbur didn't know Ice Punch... Raising alternatives for Sia... was going to be harder than she'd thought... Ah, hm... Right, Dark-type. "Brick Break," she whispered. This time, the Drilbur was not so confused as concerned. "Don't want them hurting each other with their fighting, do we?" .3. That was true... The Brick Break hit the Zweilous and caused the two heads to suddenly stop bickering and turn to face their attacker. Though the single body had felt pain, only one of the heads cringed after a second while the other just made a snapping motion at Shadi. Suddenly forming an Ice Fang, the head that wasn't still cringing rushed the body forwards and made to bite down on the Drillbur. Meanwhile, the Spinarak fidgeted a little and tried to move along the wall while the dragon was distracted hoping that maybe he could get by .x.
