Here's the low down
We need some new faces here at VC (not that your faces aren't positively gorgeous, but shouldn't we notify other people of that?). The first site-wide contest will be a competition to see who can spread the site link around the most.
Directions:
1. Reply to this topic saying that you will be taking part in the contest.
2. Post an advertisement on other sites, refer people to our lovely site, and do anything else that will draw in prospective members.
3. Come back here to post the links and number of advertisements you posted and the names of members you referred.
But what, there's more?
Any good contest needs prizes, right? Well this one is no different.
The prizes you are eligible to receive are as follows:
For...
20 Links or three members: An automatic evolution for one of your character's pokemon
40 Links or five members: A free pokemon of your choice (unevolved)
60 links or 8 members: Another pokemon (evolved)
80 Links or 10 members: Another free pokemon, this time a shiny
100 Links or 15 members: A free fossil pokemon (unevolved)
150 Links or 18 members: 5000 pokedollars
200 Links or 20 members: Another free fossil pokemon (evolved)
500 Links or 25 members: A free shadow pokemon of any species (beside legendary)
Please try to not advertise on the same site. You will not get points if you do this.
Also, linking back doesn't count. Leave that to me please. You may or may not use the ad already made. In fact, it'd be cool if you made your own.
