Summer had begun and was rather fun all in all. So far things seemed to have cooled down a bit with all the festivals. Two girls were staring into the abandoned mines. Unless a person was blind they would know that the girls were twins. Two Sableye's were near them also. One happening to be a Shiny. Grinning to each other they slid into the dark Abandoned Minds.
Allis chuckled and followed after Styxx, the shiny, and Simi, the normal one, into the darkness. Though she could hear her sister fast on her heals. Maybe they would actually find a Sableye or two this time. She kinda hoped they found some young ones. They were easier to train. Plus it would be fun. She liked young pokemon cause they were just so cute.
Aisla followed after her sister looking about bored. She and her siste had both chosen to come here. They wanted to be Dark and Ghost type specialists but so far they had two water types and a fire type along with their three darks. Two of which were also ghost types. Oh well their pokemon were fun so it was all good. Maybe this time around they could find some ghost and dark types.

Upon walking into the mines, a peculiar sight could be seen. A Rhyhorn and an Elgyem appeared to be fighting -- or at least having a disagreement. Between yelling at each other and shoving at each other, it seemed as though they were at least handling it more peacefully than outright attacking each other. However, a Gastly was hovering above them, looking worried. He was moving around above them, trying to talk but their yells far overpowered his voice.

Wondering what it was about she stepped closer before spotting the Gastly. Poor fellow. He seemed to be having a hard time getting them to quit. clearing her throat she spoke up. "Excuse me." Of course her soft voice was drowned out.
Aisla blinked and grinned ready to just watch the fight. Sighing at her sisters attempt at getting their attention she sucked in a breath. "Alrighty Everyone freeze!" Her voice was much louder and slightly echoed in the mines as she watched them waiting for them to comply.
Styxx and Simi looked at each other then at the two fighting. <May we ask whats going on?> They couldn't pass the two pokemon unless they moved as they were in the middle of the girl's and pokemons path. [/scrolly] |

At the sudden interruption, the two fighting Pokemon turned to glare at the girls and their Sableye. <What d'you want?> the Rhyhorn spat at them, stomping the ground once and throwing her horn up into the air so as to seem intimidating. The Elgyem just watched the group, seemingly not quite as disturbed as his partner but still unhappy that they had chosen to butt in. The Gastly seemed to sigh with a bit of relief that at least the fighting had halted for the moment. But how long would it last...?

So either make up or take it someplace else.> She didn't particulary take to being yelled at. Glaring she showed her teeth and had to be pushed back by Styxx.
Allis sweat dropped as she watched Simi. She would just let the Sableyes take care of this. No need for humans to get involved in a pokemon matter. Looking at the worried Gastly she smiled. "Hello gastly." She would cheer that one up if needed.
Aisla put her hands on her fist and glared right back at the rhyhorn. Oh she so did not like that. Seeing Simi's reaction though she knew she had to stay quiet. Simi had definitely gotten her point across. [/scrolly] |

<This is our home,> the Rhyhorn responded, annoyed. <Why don't you go back to your comfortable human home? You think you can just waltz right in here and get whatever you want; well you're WRONG. If you were at home having a disagreement with your friend and someone just came along and not only interrupted but told you to move, how would you take that?> Boy, did she despise humans and their Pokemon... always felt so obligated. Did these four live in the mine? She highly doubted it! What gave them the right to ask them to move from their home area?
The Gastly sighed. Clearly these two were on a roll. Looking up when one of the girls greeted him, he simply shook his head a little -- or, well, his body. It was nice of her to try, but now her group had caused even more problems... and more for them than the two that were arguing would have caused each other in the first place. The Elgyem looked pretty annoyed, too, but he stayed quiet.

At least I don't upset another friend because of a little squabble. Oh and I would move then follow and scare them half to death.> Okay so maybe the Rhyhorn had a point about being told to move but the way she was acting it didn't seem if Simi had asked the stupid pokemon would have moved.
Styxx blinked and sweatdropped. <I'm very sorry for my companion. She takes after her human. Could you maybe please move so we could get through. I'm Pretty sure Allis would be willing to give you some food in return.> Usually the shy type he knew he had to step in before Simi accidentally did something that would end up with Allis and Aisla in a battle.
Allis sighed at the Gastly's shake of his head. Looking between all the pokemon she was tempted to pick up styxx but she could tell he was trying to fix whatever Simi had started.
Aisla huffed and stalked out of the Mines before she gave Simi the order to attack. What was the point of fighting in the middle of the mine anyways. [/scrolly] |

The Rhyhorn was clearly about to retort at Simi's words before the Gastly moved suddenly to hover in front of her. This made her pause long enough for Styxx's words to get across. The rock rhino didn't seem impressed, but the Elgyem seemed to understand what was being said. <Let's just let them pass. It's not like we shouldn't have expected this,> he commented toward the Rhyhorn. She quickly snorted, narrowing her eyes somewhat at Simi. <You don't know what we were arguing about... It's not your place to say whether it was little or not. Gastly was worried it would get worse than it already was, not necessarily distressed that we were already arguing.> This was not said with any hostility, though she did sound rather upset still.
Gastly smiled softly and quickly made his way over to hover next to Aisla. He spoke to her easily, trying to get her to stay. He needed to thank the two girls... and he was willing to lead them through the mines. While he stayed, the other two would start to head off. They were obviously calmer now and left the way into the mines open for the twins.

Rubbing her head she glared at her companion. It was a good thing she had a crush on him otherwise she might have smacked him with one of her moves. Huffing out a breath she stalked after Aisla.
Aisla blinked as she was stopped by the gastly. Sighing she rubbed her head and walked back to Allis. Standing next to her twin she looked behind her to see Simi was following behind her instead of running on a head like Styxx was.
Allis smiled and reached into her pocket offering the Gastly a bit of food. She loved pokemon so it was a bit worrying for her when the two had been fighting. Though she did wonder what it had been about. Looking to the Gastly she wondered why he had stayed while the rest had left. [/scrolly] |

The Gastly happily ate up the food offered to him, thankfully bobbing up and down a little before verbally thanking Allis in Pokespeech. He led them farther into the mines, every once in a while moving forward so that he could make sure the coast was clear. Every time, he would come back smiling to reassure them. Not that Aisla seemed to need or care for his actions, but at least the two of them together had stopped his friends from their arguing.
This time, when he returned from his scouting, he was smiling yet again. However, something was different. Rather suddenly, something appeared behind him. The smoke around his spherical form blocked it from view, but it quickly made a noise: <DUSK!> and scared the girls' guide. The poison-ghost quickly screamed his surprise and hurried to hide behind Allis, revealing a completely white Duskull. His red eye was even a bit more prominent a color in comparison to others of his kind. He snickered happily at having startled the Gastly, but otherwise didn't seem very hostile.

Styxx walked beside her and followed along. Simi followed not so happily. She was still upset over those other two pokemon. Fighting in the middle of the path where anyone could pop into their fight. Huffing out a breath she stayed back with her Trainer who didn't look happy about having a guide.
Aisla huffed out a breath as the ghost pokemon raced forward then cam back smiling. Sighing she let the anger seep out of her body just at the Ghost pokemon was scared by a.....White Duskull. Blinking she burst out laughing. It was very interesting when Ghost types ended up being the one scared.
Stopping, Allis's eyes widened over the frightened Gastly and the snickering Duskull. Turning slightly she petted the Gastly and watched the Duskull. "Hello. I'm Allis." Digging into her pocket again she pulled out some more pokefood and offered it to the duskull. Styxx watched curiously then hid behind Allis's leg. Simi on the other hand grinned showing her teeth. <Hello I'm Simi and thats Styxx.> [/scrolly] |

The Gastly trembled for a moment before he realized what it was that had startled him. <Hey! That wasn't very nice at all,> he scolded, only to get another snicker from the white ghost. Hovering over to Allis, the Duskull eyed the Pokefood for a moment before snatching it up and happily eating it. Turning to Simi, he grinned back. <Hi there. Most people just call me Ghost, but I don't have any real nickname so you don't have to call me that. What are you all doing out this way?> Whether he meant that people yelled 'ghost!' and ran screaming from him or that it was an actual nickname given by friends wasn't actually certain but he seemed friendly enough either way.

He was rather friendly and had a good sense of humor to boot. Maybe he would travel with her. He could help her wake up Aisla in the mornings. Simi smiled and listened. <We're searching for Sableyes but I think Allis is liking that humor you have. What do you think about seeing other places outside the mines?> Simi had no qualms as talking to others or speaking her mind.
Aisla watched then slipped past them all to see what else was in the mines. So far she hadn't seem any sableyes but she would let her sister talk with the Albino Duskull. [/scrolly] |

The white ghost tilted himself slightly in an attempt to tilt his head. Humor? He just liked startling people, especially his friends who he knew would forgive his antics. It wasn't really funny when people screamed in absolute terror and then ran away as if their life depended on it. As he actually focused on what she had asked, he considered this. Outside the mines? He'd never really ventured even a little ways out of here and... his friends were here. But! He'd make new friends and surely they'd come back to visit. Smiling, he nodded. <That sounds like fun~ But... we'll come back here once in a while, right?>
Farther into the mines, Aisla could probably see the outline of two more Gastly, but that was about it from where she was.

At his question she blinked. <Yes. All you have to do is ask and we can come back any time at all. Well so long as were not in the middle of something.> Simi grinned at him and realized her Trainer had gone on a head. Nudging Styxx to take over with talking she race forward so that Aisla wasn't scouting up their alone. Styxx looked about then slowly came out from behind Allis to look at the Albino ghost. <Hello.>
Allis watched her sister scout a head as she gently petted the Gastly then with her free hand dug a bit more food from her pockets and held it out for him. Softly she started to hum to herself while Styxx, now, talked to the Duskull.
Aisla spotted the outlines of two more Gastly and decided it was worth a try to ask them. "Hello!" Walking toward them she hoped that she didn't accidentally scare them. She just wanted to know if their were any sableye's about. [/scrolly] |

The Duskull seemed greatly pleased by this course of events but when one Sableye ran off and left the other, shier one to talk to him, he looked a little confused. Watching as Simi ran off, he looked to Styxx and nodded. <Hello~> he greeted happily. <Is what your friend -- ... sister? Anyway, is what she said true? Could I join you?> The Gastly happily munched on a bit more of the food, peering ahead as Aisla wandered off. Shouldn't they stay together? It could be dangerous in the mines alone...
The two Gastly looked a tad surprised, but not really scared. They looked at each other uncertainly before one turned back and smiled, floating a little closer. The second stayed a little behind while the first greeted back. <Hello there. What brings you in here?> She wasn't sure if the human could understand her or not, but she did notice another Pokemon that she assumed belonged to the human. Possibly the Sableye could interpret what she was saying. Also, from this angle, if either Aisla or Simi looked up, they could take note of a sleeping Crobat nestled in the crevices of the ceiling.

Actually that would be weird. But yeah what she said is true. I can ask Allis now if you like?> He and Simi had worked out a good way to communicate with Aisla and Allis. It was just easier that way. Plus Sign language was fun. Or so he thought.
Allis saw the Gastly's worry on his face and patted his head. "Don't worry she'll be fine. She does that often though she usually stays within earshot." Usually was the key word sometimes Allis had to actually search for her sister. Usually when Aisla got carried away.
Simi watched and translated to Aisla through hand signs. Aisla grinned. "Hello! I was actually looking for some sableyes. Have you seen any?" Glancing up she now noticed the sleeping Crobat. She should probably keep her voice down. [/scrolly] |

The first Gastly nodded to Allis, but still felt a little bad that he wasn't being a proper guide. Ah, well, perhaps he shouldn't really look at it that way. The Duskull, on the other hand, was in a fairly chipper mood. <Sure, sure,> he answered, <and I'm sorry to suggest you two are anything besides friends... or even acquaintances! Your relationship is not my business. But yes, asking would be a wonderful idea. I'd love to explore the world outside these mines.> He was getting more and more excited about this the more he thought about it.
The other two Gastly, though, looked thoughtful at the question and looked at each other to chatter a little bit between themselves. It might have seemed rude, but it really wasn't meant as such. They were just trying to decide if maybe the gems they'd seen were really just gems or possibly the gem-covered Pokemon. After a long moment, they seemed to come to an agreement and both shook their "heads" slightly. <Don't think so, sorry. Usually, though, they stay in the deeper parts of the caves that still have some gems left. There isn't a whole lot of precious gems or metals left in the main caves, though... so good luck.> The Crobat seemed unbothered so far.

A new friend would be nice. Tugging on Allis' shirt to get her attention he quickly signed the question to her. Allis looked at the duskull and smiled. "Absolutely." Pulling out a pokeball she held it out to him just encase he changed his mind. She smiled warmly as Styxx looked about then up at the gastly. <Your a very god guide Aisla is just very head strong.>
Aisla watched them as they seemed to be debating something. Soon enough they turned back to her and shook their heads. Watching Simi and the Gastly she nodded her head. "Alrighty then I guess I need to go deeper. Thank you two for your help!" Waving she headed down a tunnel. This would take her deeper right?
Simi followed after her set up a little pyramid of rocks every so often. This would help Allis track them since Aisla was off in her own world at the moment. [/scrolly] |

Without hesitation, the Duskull reached out to press the button on the little ball offered to him and was immediately sucked it. It shook slightly and clicked shut just as quickly.
Name: Species: Leucistic Duskull Gender: Male - Bi; prefers females Ability: Levitate Personality: Quite the trouble-maker, this Duskull enjoys both playing pranks and causing general havoc. You could call him something of a poltergeist, even. When he's not pulling such pranks, however, he's actually quite laid back. He likes to laugh is all, and sometimes the quickest way to get one is by making someone jump out of his or her skin. If someone is actually upset by his prank, he'll grudgingly apologize but that won't stop him from doing it again in the future. People just have to suck it up! He's willing to battle, but prefers to just relax most of the time.
The Gastly smiled and nodded to Styxx and started to lead him and his trainer deeper into the mines. The two other Gastly watched as the first pair wandered down one of the tunnels, only for the next pair (plus a male Gastly) to follow after. They giggled faintly at the floating ghost, but he seemed to ignore them altogether.
Ahead of Aisla was a Swinub snuffling around under a rock, and a Drilbur and Duskull pair having a seemingly important conversation.
By Allis, as she passed by one of the first rock-pyramids, a small squeak was emitted as a small Zubat fell from his perch above.
